Gourmet Latte in Cape Coral - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

I came here for a coffee. I didn’t realize they only served lattes. The latte I ordered was lukewarm with a few ice cubes in it that got watered down within five minutes. Flavor was bland and basic. The girl at the counter was very nice however. I don’t think I have a reason to return.

Okay so I'm going to say that I usually do not write reviews unless I feel like the company deserves it. There are not a lot of selections here in Cape Coral Florida for coffee. I think I found three options or choices besides dunkin' donuts thats it. I know sad I'm a coffee connoisseur I absolutely love my coffee I spend at least $50 a day on coffee easily. The places I usually go are Urban buzz and Starbucks and even though their staff is wonderful I'm tired of same Starbucks taste and only so many options on flavors and drinks. So I thought let's find a new place. So I looked up coffee in Cape Coral the first place that comes up is Gourmet Latte with a 4.8 rating so I read every single review before I even went and I was very impressed with the reviews about how many flavors and options they have and about how kind and polite the staff is and about how they're very patient and tell you about all the flavors they have at this a little blue coffee stand gourmet latte on Hancock in Cape Coral Florida. I was very shocked to see that Gourmet latte has a better rating than Urban buzz coffee also I wanted to mention that the last time I went to Urban buzz coffee the girl referred me to Gourmet latte because she knows I live so far in North Cape Coral and urban buzz is in South Cape Coral so I wanted to point this out too very kind of her so I also have a recommendation plus I read the reviews. I was so excited I got my purse and practically ran down there to get treated SO RUDELY: ( Okay so first there is a guy at the walk up window and one guy parked on the side waiting for his drinks I sat there for at least 20 minutes waiting patiently which was no big deal especially with the great reviews! So I get to the window finally and the blonde older lady comes to the window says "what can I get for you" as I still have the reviews fresh in my mind I said well mam this is my first time here and so I really am not sure I have a couple questions she exhaled loudly and seemed aggravated at my question and says said hold on a moment she was holding a cup and something from a blender from the drink she just made and she says "I'll be right back" and she goes to the back and starts washing the cups out. Cool okay so I sit there a little bit longer finally she comes back to the window and she says "what's your question" (in a snippety, I'm tired of being here type of attitude way) and I say well "what drinks have espresso in them?" she says "every single one of them" and I looked at her in surprise and I said "oh really even the Italian sodas have espresso in them?"I asked this question because my kids like Italian espressos and they cannot have coffee and she looked at me like I was dumb and immediately had an attitude and says obviously not! I said I usually like iced mochas or lattes or frappuccinos but sometimes the blended drinks are named something different at different stands so I didn't know what to call them. Her reaction and how she treated me was SO RUDE I said to her.... "Mam you have a nice day" and I drove off I just couldn't believe the difference between the reviews that I read and actually how I was treated. Obviously the reviews on this site have got to be either fake or planted or I don't know because that's definitely not how I was treated especially after having a referral and all of the references from the other reviewers and having to wait for so long I am really bummed me out because I was so excited just to be let down : ( 👎 There's no way I would ever give them a 4.8 rating EVER!!! I'm FLABBERGASTED to read these reviews! MAYBE IF SHE WAS NICER TO PEOPLE Y'ALL WOULD GET MORE BUSINESS SINCERELY YOURS... COMPLETELY LET DOWN! DESPERATELY SEEKING COFFEE IN CAPE CORAL INSTEAD OF SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE!! BECAUSE WE KNOW THERE'S PLENTY OF COFFEE THERE

After a trip to the PNW, was really looking for a place just like this! Alec was informative and was very friendly. Will be returning often!!

My husband got a peanut butter espresso milkshake that was amazing! I got there iced carmel macchiato that was also very good! Super friendly staff! Would definitely go back

My absolute favorite drive thru coffee shop, they always have the best flavor combos. They have different drinks every day and great sandwiches and burritos. I would go out of my way to get a drink from here, highly recommend

Walked up to the place and looked at the menu and no hello or how can I help u. Stand there for 10 mins and nothing. Walked off and went to Dunkin . Thank you for nothing I guess.

wow. found this little spot while on vacation and i normally don’t leave reviews but they deserve it. THE BEST STAFF! everyone i encountered was so nice and patient and gave great recommendations. the coffee? amazing. 10/10. best coffee i’ve ever had. i come down to cape a lot and i will definitely be visiting again every morning❤️

Twice I've been here and both times I had to force myself to finish them. I ordered a latte with coconut milk and hazelnut flavor. It tasted watered-down. I had my friend taste it and he agreed.

Ordered the Salty Beaches frappe, sugar free, fat free milk.... it was one of the BEST coffee drinks I've had in forever! 32oz is their large and it costs the same a Starbucks venti size. So much more for less! Lots of sugar free and milk options. Try it....I triple 🐕 dare you!🤪

Saw this little gem as I was driving to an appointment and I am SO thrilled I stopped. From the amazing customer service I received from the GM to the delicious coffee she created for me.. I am in heaven ! This is the best ice coffee I have EVER tried (no exaggeration). 10/10 Recommend! Now we just need one on every side of Cape ! Thanks for an amazing experience !

We are not from here and stopped on a whim. The girl working the drive thru was amazing. We are in town for a funeral, she was sweet and thoughtful. I got the horchata drink with expresso.

Stopped by Gourmet Latte for a afternoon coffee. TONS of flavor options (seasonal flavors all year long EX-Pumpkin Pie) Great coffee and friendly service.

AMAZING !!!!! Best coffee I have ever had !! The Oreo milkshake is by far the best we have ever had as well. They have a great selection and hands down literally the best coffee place I have ever been to. Great customer service too!!!!! So cute and it’s on a canal. You have to go here !!!

I really felt like trying a new place and I was not disappointed. The view was so gorgeous and was overlooking the Killarney Lake. I’ve always wanted to come by but I finally got to try them. I got the Guava Burst and it was so delicious and refreshing, definitely what I needed today. Kylie was so kind and gave us time to look at the menu. She gave us the best service ever and the drink was made with perfection.

This is such a cute little place. This is a drive through and walk up only location. There are a few tables to sit outside which all have beautiful views. If you’re looking for a coffee place that has a bunch of unique options, you will find it here! There are several non dairy milk options as well. You can also find some food options as well. There are some bakery vegan options as well. They were short staffed when we went and comped a breakfast sandwich which I thought was great. I just ordered a traditional iced latte with caramel and oat milk, it’s not the best coffee I ever had but it was good. I’ll be back.

Absolutely delicious! Had an iced mocha with almond milk and wow was that one of the best iced mochas I’ve ever had! On top of that, this little coffee shop is super adorable, amazing service, quick, and locally owned! Definitely best coffee shop in Cape Coral and I recommend anyone in the area try this place, you won’t regret it.

Liquid Luck (Felix Felicis!) Wasn't too sure what I was in the mood for today so I asked the woman working for a recommendation and this is what she suggested. Thank you for the wonderful drink. Every time I have gone here whom ever is working at the time always is open to suggest different drinks. If you're out and about looking to try a new coffee shop I highly suggest stopping by to check them out.

This is the best coffee place in town. Their menu has plenty of options for everyone. I got a white chocolate mocha and it was next level. She even asked what type of milk we wanted added. Very highly recommend this to anyone looking for amazing coffee, not just the run of the mill corporate coffee.

What a cute hidden little gem of a coffee shop! Please skip the big chains and come here because I had a great experience! The coffee is delicious, strong and the girl was extremely sweet and helpful! Also love that they have a drive thru as well.

Today was my first time here and I loved it. I got the almond joy with white chocolate and it was so delicious! It is also reasonably priced here. They have a huge menu with so much to choose from. I’ll definitely go back!

Came here around 9:30 am September 7th. SO SO GOOD! Lauryn and Jenna are great!! They are definitely the new Urban Buzz except acouple dollars cheaper and way more options. They have the Rev up drinks that are energy drinks you can make in many flavors. They have my favorite Green Bites! The staff are super helpful and were very patient with my indecisiveness! Came again on September 10th around 9:30 am again! Alec and Riley were a great help!

Finally a independent Pacific Northwest coffee stand in southwest Florida. Gourmet latte understands with a drive-through espresso stand is supposed to be from Italian sodas to all the espresso drinks it’s definitely worth the drive.

If you want the best coffee don't look anywhere else but Gourmet Latte!!! Everyone is friendly and you get great service. I usually go in the morning to get coffee. Lauryn is a fantastic barista! She's very nice and full of energy! I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants great tasting coffee!

I moved to Florida just over two years ago from Washington State. For almost 12 years I frequented Gourmet Latte; I did live across the street from one up there. I went today and it’s tastes just like it did in Washington. The barista was great and we had a great conversation. If you’re looking for GREAT coffee, espresso, ITALIAN SODA’s (my favorite), and numerous other coffee/ espresso drinks…this is where you need to go.
