I love their Gyro plates! They give you a lot of food and it usually is so good as left overs for the next day's lunch! Sometimes the food takes awhile so be sure to plan for it but it is all worth the wait as the food is delicious!

I ordered catering from here a week prior to my event date. When I arrived to pick up the food, the order wasn't ready, and the owner yelled at me when I asked how much longer it would be. Then he yelled at other customers and told them that he was too busy to help them for the next 30 minutes. So my lunch for 12 was 20 minutes late and it threw our whole schedule off. What is the point of ordering anything in advance if it's not going to be ready on time? And JFC this guy is a jerk. Oh and also, if the owner is reading this, please do a better job of covering and wrapping your take-out dishes. Food and sauces were running over the sides and had been smeared on the outside of the tin foil. Terrible customer service and unreliable. Food in the end was pretty good. They should let the chef/owner cook but keep him as far away from other people as possible.

Count on having to wait a bit for your food at this place but it is so worth the wait. Some of the best Greek food anywhere!

I can't even. Y'all won't leave disappointed. We live an hour and a half away from Fargo, happened to be in town for some appointments for the hubby and I wanted to try greek food while we were in town. Hands down the best experience. The establishment is clean, has good vibes, and the food was amazing. We will be back next time we are in Fargo.

The absolute best tasting Greek fast food in Fargo with amazing portions. The staff is a bit overwhelmed at times due to the high customer turnout, but they get the job done. It's not a dine in restaurant atmosphere but great for take out.

Had a spicy gyro with beef and lamb. Thus would feed two people. Veggies where fresh and tasty. The spice comes from spicy tzatziki sauce which comes on the side. I've been here several times and never gotten a bad meal. Highly recommend

The food is 30/5 stars. The care the staff gives is a 20/5 stars. The free soup I got for a longer than normal wait when I came during peak hours is a 25/5. I suppose my point is the food is phenomenal and the staff is too, better than I've ever experienced in Fargo, so thank you!

Absolutely awesome! Recently started getting lunch here as I love Greek food. The Gyros are enormous and so good! The veggies are all very fresh and the tzatziki is amazing as well. The hummus and veggie app is another favorite. Appreciate the friendly staff and great food - thank you!

Craving the best Greek/Mediterranean food in the Midwest? You NEED to go to GP's Kitchen in Fargo! The portions are huge. Seriously, we ordered a gyro platter with an extra pita and it still served four. Freshest food and worth the wait as each order is cooked fresh! Amazing tortellini soup as an appetizer. The fries are hot and crispy and the tzatziki sauce was incredible too. Highly, highly recommend

Food is always so good. Everything is made fresh, so service times aren't really fast, but they are reasonable. Will often offer free bowls of soup to hold you over. The soups are typically recipes I have never tried and are also really delicious! Portions are enormous. Plan to have leftovers!

Best and biggest Gyros in town! When I say the hospitality was great it’s an understatement. As soon as we walked the staff made us feel very welcome! My wife and I got the Meat Lovers & Athenian Gyros, and a large fry to share. The amount of food you get is insane, the meat was literally falling out of the pita. Great portions! While we were waiting for our food they brought out a bowl of delicious soup. We have leftovers for a couple days and will definitely be back :)

Excellent Greek food. Portion sizes are large and food is fresh. Our online order time was 60 minutes on a Friday evening, so a good idea to order plenty of time in advance. A great locally owned restaurant to have in Fargo.

Nicest people ever and portions enough for a banquet.

We've been customers here since early 2020 and GP's is consistently excellent. We primarily get the GP's gyro and it's great every time. There are other high quality dishes such as the butternut squash ravioli and the platters have very large portions; you won't be hungry afterwards. I felt compelled to leave a review after my most recent positive experience. The online ordering website seemed to have a bug with the order which let the order go through, even though the card information was incorrect. I called in to let the owner know (who seems to do most of the chef work) and he pleasantly/jokingly let me know all is well and to stop in for my food. I usually use the drive through but went in for the first time in years and was instantly greeted by name and that my order would be ready in a few minutes. They let me know that they'd work on the card issue and if I didn't hear back all is well. The food was ready shortly after and they sent with a free container of the daily soup with my meal (which has happened other times in the past). GP's is a gem of Fargo- the wait times can be long, but considering the food is made fresh to order it's not problematic (nor has it ever taken longer than 45 minutes). The portion sizes are huge, reasonably priced, and very high quality. The family who owns/runs the place obviously takes pride in their work- it shows through all parts of the experience (even when it's an online order picked up through the drive through). Some note the waiting times are bad- our personal max was 45 minutes one evening which is pretty typical in our experience- it happens, things slow down, deal with it. If you've worked in the food industry you may have a bit more empathy; it's hard work, quality takes time, and a few things can really derail a kitchen (especially for a small family restaurant, there's no small army of line cooks). General recommendations to try: GP's gyro, GP's platter (huge array of quality veggies), butternut squash ravioli, stuffed grape leaves, Greek salad, and even the onion rings (which are doctored up with seasonings). You can't really go wrong. The kid's meals essentially match the "adult" meals in portion sizes, we have 3 kids 6 and under who maybe eat 40% of 1 kids meal.

Food is prepared like it's for family.

My teenager and I just devoured a regular sized Greek salad in the parking lot with our hands lol. And there's plenty left! Love this place and don't mind the wait for consistently great food!

They never disappoint and are always super friendly everything made right there for you fresh ingredients and family run they always go above and beyond and are the kindest most heart warming people the food is so amazing also this should be a featured place to eat if looking up some where in fargo. We have eaten at many different Greek places and were completely impressed by GP’s! Everything was cook to order. And FRESH! They even came out and gave us the most delicious lemon chicken soup as an appetizer- on the house! The portions were unbelievable too! I was thrilled to have leftover gyro bowl! And our adult kids were excited to take home leftovers from their entrees as well! Thank you, GP’s! We will definitely be back! We told all our friends in Fargo to check you out!

Down to earth , kind hardworking family.. and the food! Absolutely the best ! I love this place, it’s real and the food is delicious! I understand you may have to wait , but to me it’s worth it , I’m in no rush to get good food in ten minutes or less. I go with respect and patience because the food is REAL ! I respect the owners for their hardworking ethic and kindness ! Best tzatziki sauce in town ! I crave it each week I swear ! Nothing compares to it !

We pass through Fargo a few times a year on the way to visit family and nearly every time we do, we plan our departure/arrival time based on GP’s hours. Their food is truly this good! The freshest ingredients, prepared with such care, it is worth the wait every single time - this is REAL food afterall! The folks who own and work here are so friendly and caring, often throwing in a bowl of soup or other tasty treat to your meal, on the house. Cannot recommend GPs highly enough!

SO glad we stopped here for lunch. Best gyro I have had. Initially, I thought it was a little pricey for one but you get SO. MUCH. FOOD. I will probably end up getting 3 meals out of my one gyro. It is delicious and worth every penny. We also had the vegetable and tortellini soup. It was homemade and yummy. Will definitely come here again!

This is the most inviting place to eat I have ever been. The service is over the top! Came in for my first time, ordered and sat down. Within minutes, we had soup on the house! Great conversation and suggestions from the waitress. The food portions were so much bigger than expected. 10 out of 10 would come again!

Every other restaurant should take notes from GP’s. Top quality ingredients and over-generous portions. The owner is a wonderful human and very welcoming. I asked about the Greek Salad but decided on a Gyro. He made me a side salad at no cost, just so I could try it. And it was the best salad I’ve had away from home. You have my business and deserve nothing but success!

If you are don't have a lot of time (at least 20 minutes or longer), order ahead. Large portions, amazingly fresh & delicious ingredients.

My favorite restaurant in town. Not only is their food great but the owner is a hard working business owner who busts his butt every day to make sure the food is fresh and tastes good. He is short staffed so he is often very busy but never takes out the stress of constantly switching between the register and the griddle out on the customer. I hope that one day more people will start to come here so he has a big enough customer base to hire some full time employees so he can have a day off.

One of my favorite places in FM

I got the beef/lamb old fashion and my fiancé got the chicken old fashion. Easily one of the best gyros I’ve had. The portions are huge…definitely just order a small fry if you’re looking to share. It was faster than what I was expecting from reviews so that was nice. I will definitely be going here a lot more! Great job GP’s!

I do think it is the best Gyro in town, and it is consistently great food. It is also kind of spendy, but the portion sizes are very good. That being said the last two times I went there, (having been there at least 6 times prior) one time I walked in and there was a 50 minute wait and I just walked out, the next time I ordered online like an hour in advance was told 80 minute wait, went there after the 80 minutes and they still hadn't even started on it yet. They always seem short staffed and it takes forever to get your food. I won't be trying to go here much anymore, and if I do it will be off-peak hours on off peak days. After that unprofessional and non empathetic whatsoever response pretty much telling me that they don't want my business, I'm not going to recommend here to anybody anymore. I left an honest review, not trying to be specifically negative. Waiting an hour and a half for my food is not acceptable. You could swallow your pride a little bit and get some help or something. The fact that I actually waited the 80 minutes and then waited another 20 minutes shows I have an abundance of patience, unlike you with your responses to your reviews. Another update, the owner decided to call me out of the blue, and yell at me over the phone, and say that I am not allowed on the property because of this review. That is how he treats people who were loyal customers. What a joke.

There is a reason they are so highly rated!! Food is amazing, great value. Wonderful people. We came in and they let us know it would be 5/10 minutes before they even took our order. No worries we didn’t know what we want anyway.. we ordered and waited 20ish minutes. They brought out soup on the house for the longer wait. (We never complained, we figured they were busy.. there were only 2 working and they were busting their butts.) We didn’t need soup, but accepted gratefully and it was sooo good! We got our food in overflowing portions, and had to bring half of it home. These guys were so hard working, genuine thoughtful people. We will be back! Also.. get the baklava… Yum!

It was our first time eating here with my wife and it won't be our last! It's small, family owned and you can taste the dedication in the food. You have to wait just a bit for your food but it is well worth it. Portion sizes as big as our inflation rate. Highly recommend it.

I went in Evangelical and came out Greek Orthodox. That’s how good my gyro was. The pita alone was so delicious that my stomach apologized to it for every store-bought pita I’ve ever consumed. Highly recommend if you like gyros, cheesesteaks, or souvlaki.

We had never been here before, but we are definitely going back! We had keftedes for a starter, avgolemono soup, chicken santorini and a gyro platter. I should say, we ORDERED those items, because the keftedes and avgolemono soup were so delicious and satisfying that we got full before our entrees came. We were raving to each other about the keftedes and pita bread - so tasty, hot and fresh! When our avgolemono soup came, we took a few spoonfuls and my girlfriend looked up from her soup and said to me, obviously very pleased, "This is homemade!" I said "I know, right!?" It was so good! The homemade soup was an unexpected but very pleasant surprise for both of us. We were so full just from eating half of the keftedes, all of the pita and all of the soup, that I had to go back up to the counter and request that our entrees be bagged up to go. We were so full and satisfied that we couldn't eat another bite. About an hour ago, even though I was still not hungry, I just had to try the chicken santorini, because I knew that if it was anything like the appetizers and soup, it was going to be delicious. It was. I'm so full that I can't even TRY the gyro platter yet. I'm eagerly awaiting lunch time tomorrow when we're going to have the gyro platter. I think we can eat for a couple of days just on the things we didn't finish at the restaurant. The portions are VERY generous - too generous in my opinion. I'm stuffed ( and very satisfied)! I think the best thing about this restaurant, besides the fact that the food is delicious, is the fact that the food is cooked to order. Because it is cooked to order, you can expect to wait a bit, but I promise you it will be worth the wait! If you're in a big hurry, then go to one of those fast-food restaurants (so-called) and stuff yourself on the swill they sell. If you've got just a little more time, then by all means treat yourself by going here and ordering REAL, DELICIOUS food!

This place is 100% authentic Greek expirence. The staff are absolutely wonderful and will treat you right every day of the week, recommend everyone to try it even if you don't think you'd like it I bet you will find something they serve that's delicious.
