I would leave no stars if possible. I ordered a burger medium and it was so overcooked it crumbled. Took one bite and took it for my dog. It wasn't only me. Three of the five meals we ordered were from bad to disasters.

The grasshopper was so good. The food came out really quick and they did not disappoint me or my family one bit. The burger was cooked exactly how I wanted. The service was perfect and made sure they have everything right. I recommend this place 100 percent.

If I could leave no stars I would!! They are incredibly racist and don’t seem to care about black people. If you see someone had too much wouldn’t it make sense to make sure they’re ok rather than make fun of them and mess with them. There’re were so many other people in worse conditions but you choose the black man to mess with him (owner included). It’s so sad to see that people are still like this in this day and age. Never again!

We used to go there all the time. But the food declined. We went yesterday for a great meal the hamburger was cooked perfectly and the chicken quesadilla was full of meat and veg- it was delicious May be a new chef?? Loved it

The food and drinks here are very reasonable. I recommend the burgers are good and the service is very good. Definitely planning on going back.

This place is the best. Great atmosphere and great people all around. Ryan took great care of me he’s the best! I highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Our last visit was at 6:30 Saturday. We thought we were early to beat the crowd. The place was packed. We didn't wait long but service and the kitchen was slower than usual. Overall we love the place and is one of our local regular places to eat and Drink at.

Have eaten here many times. Food is always delicious, service is reliably friendly and the prices R very reasonable.

Came in for a quick bite and a beer. No one at the bar to take my order and took forever for them to come. I got my beer and the bartender asked a near other bartender to take my order. He acted like he didn’t even want to. The soup was fine, the Caesar salad tasted like wet lettuce. No flavor. The entire time I was there they acted like I didn’t even exist, while being friendly with everyone else in there right in front of me. I was so uncomfortable I didn’t even want to stay to finish my beer. I barely drank it because I couldn’t wait to leave. Every staff member made me feel unwelcome and again, like I didn’t exist. Never coming back and telling everyone I know to steer clear.

A nice local pub. Food is better than expected, servers we had were helpful, friendly, and very attentive. Restaurant is situated in a way that it is hidden from main street, but worth the extra effort. Full bar, but those guests were not overly-boisterous or loud. Structure is a bit dated, but charming in it's own way. I would call this find a little gem.

Joe Goergen loves to stop by this place on his free time and have a glass or get some food but either way he says he loves the place and it has a nice hospitality too.

Outdoor spot is fun! Indoor has super fun vibes too! I tried a few new beers on tap and it was a fun time.. the space outside is really large and open

I can’t love this place enough! Great Pub food and great service. Their wings are awesome! I always get a happy vibe every time I walk in there. The bartenders and friendly and kind as are the waitstaff. Simply put, it’s a wonderful little pub. Try it. You’ll like it.

One of the best places you can eat at. The Staff, Bartnenders and Managment are the absolute best. Top notch service!!! 5 stars all the way. During this time it is the only place open until 2am. So want a drink stop by for outside drinking. Eating until 10pm best place around.

You can have a great meal for lunch or dinner here and it is not overly expensive. It is a local favorite. Have dined here 100’s of times over many years and it has been consistently good!

The Grasshopper is a favorite of our Sunday after-church lunch bunch. We eat here often as it is affordable, quick, friendly, tasty, and relaxing. The menu has a lot of options and sometimes one of us orders off the menu and gets a dinner platter of turkey, pork, or beef with potatoes and vegetable. It’s just a nice place to go and relax. Don’t expect gourmet as it’s a neighborhood pub/eatery good for eating with friends and hanging out for a while. Lots of regulars there.

Delicious food, their steaks and French onion soup are drool worthy. The atmosphere is a very quaint tavern atmosphere and the staff is very pleasant and accommodating.

Excellent food and drink great place to have dinner

The food is good. If you like pricy club fair then this is the place for you. They also have some traditional Irish dishes which look and sound good, but they're not anything you wouldn't be able to to find at your typical upscale pub, of which there are a lot in the area. Their Irish dishes are the ones you've all heard of - corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, fish and chips - which are actually more English I think. Anyway. I can't vouch for the taste because they have remarkably few healthy options, so I'm usually confined to the one salad without bacon in it. The servers are very accommodating, though. They gave me healthier options that weren't exactly on the menu. It's not loud there on Saturday nights, which I like. And finally, portion size can be a bit of a guessing game. My salad was small but my mother-in-law's salad was huge. My wife's grandmother ordered the bangers and mash and it was massive! Take that as you will.

Very comfortable atmosphere. Good basic Irish pub and American comfort food at reasonable prices. Nice variety of the menu including the daily specials. Service was excellent. Would definitely return.

A friend an I went here for a couple drinks and dinner. We deccided to start with fried zuccini appetizer - yuck - obviously dumped some frozen into the microwave. Then we did the coconut shrimp appetizer - ok but not much better. We decided not to stay for dinner.

Great local pub , friendly staff always make you feel comfortable.,nice menu daily specials , fair prices. Happy Hour always a hot appetizer available. Many items for the kids. Great bartenders great drinks and a good beer selection. Bring the family they can set up tables for larger groups. Plenty of parking . Come give it try , you’ll be glad you did

Amazing food! My favorites from The Grasshopper are the French Onion Soup and The Sizzling Steak! The staff is great, the place is extremely clean, everyone is friendly and it's never too loud. I suggest many people go here!

Grasshopper was excellent. And they had a band that was very enjoyable.

Definitely more of a bar scene and crowd and the waitresses are kinda crass but the food is very authentic and delicious. It's basically a watering hole for the locals but if u are in the mood for excellent English & Irish food it's worth a stop.

The Grasshopper always have great "specials" and standard items on their menus. I choose the pasta dish which was flavorful and there was enough for leftovers.

Authentic Irish pub established by Irish Immigrants. Original Irish wooden bar and decor. Good place for quick bite and a beer.

Nice place for lunch and a drink

This has been our regular watering hole for decades; it’s great to go somewhere when they know your drink order even before you sit down. Great atmosphere, tasty food and reasonable prices means that the patrons are mostly locals. A Cedar Grove institution.

If you are under the age of 60, you will feel like a baby. It's the geriatric hangout spot. I absolutely hate the karaoke nights and will leave if they are going on. Been going here for about 20 years and will still go for a bite to eat. Most of the time the food is great, very few mishaps but whenever there is the staff with fix it. Just not really a spot for younger generations.

I hate giving bad reviews but, this might be one of the worst pubs there is. Cleanliness is not on top of their priority list, food has been the same for ages; not good. The decorations have been there since the stone ages but if you want a beer and your a “local” it may be your kind of place.

Good food and a good selection at the bar.

We went for a late lunch/early dinner. Slice steak sandwiches, Reuban sandwich and such. Very good. Good beer, finish off with rice pudding, also good. We will return.

this used to be a fun place to go for a pint and a burger. Now it is sad. The staff is sad, the food is sad, the atmosphere is sad. There need some fresh upgrades here for sure

Had lunch there, food was excellent had the fish and chips and my wife had chicken franchis. Both are very good fish was cooked perfect and chicken was very good. Atmosphere is exceptional along with the service. Would recommend it.
