One of my favorite lunch spots. I’ve never had anything from here I didn’t like and everyone is always friendly. Try a Yardbird salad! You won’t regret it.

I have never had anything here that I haven't liked! Staff is always great, food is always good!

So it’s our first time having this place & we DoorDashed it. But I tell you what, this has to be the best breakfast place in Lake Charles! We had the Little Italy, Jazz and the bread pudding and there was not one complaint! Next time we plan to go in to have a full experience! THANK YOU GREAT HARVEST!

Our go to place for giant cookies! You can not go wrong with anything you choose to order at Great Harvest! Staff is incredibly friendly and service is fast as well. Absolutely recommend the visit!

Vibes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- immaculate 👍🏼 decorated so cute, seasonal menu for baked goods & coffee. Great owner presence & they are very involved in the community. Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - similar menu to somewhere like Panera, but made with love. My favorites are the bread pudding bar, chicken salad, or the grilled cheese (sliced apples & pepper jelly, chefs kiss 💋) Accessibility: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - two handicap parking spots with an adequate ramp, no steps at either door, several low top tables with removable chairs, single stall bathrooms with automatic light. Door isn’t automatic but it’s super light weight & doesn’t immediately slam shut on you. Sturdy grab bars & roll under sink.

Lots of options to choose from! The kitchen is pretty open, its kind of neat to be able to see them working and making it all happen as youre ordering. Their king cakes are delicious!! They have other options like cakes, bars, sandwiches, cookies, and lots of fresh made breads and such as well to choose from. My kids enjoyed the experience as well and my oldest said he wants to help bake bread!

They used to be top notch... lately their customer service is very poor. here are few examples: I like the cinnamon burst, and they open at 7, I stopped by 745 and they said they ran out. but they have all the other types of bread. I asked are you going to bake more today, simply they answered NO. what customer service is this? you just opened and you not going to bake more for your customers? especially for an item that sold out within 45 mins after yall opened? (to be honest I didn't belive they ran out, I belive they didn't bake it to begin with. 2nd example, they open at 7AM, I was able to see the employees through the glass, and it was around 645AM (15 minutes before they open). so I called them to ask if they have the cinnamon burst bread before they run out. The 3 employees inside looked at me in my vehicle and didn't bother answering the phone. it's sad... this place customers service used to be great.. now it is just poor and none existence. again that's what happen when you have 16 and 17 years old kids running your business and no supervision... this is the quality service you get when you pay your employees minimum wages... .....................Respond on April 23, 2024 ........... thank you for your response to my comments and observations. Your product(s) is superb, quality is 2nd to none... however it's all lost with the poor customer service and the rudeness of the employees on the phone ... also, when I run my own business (and I'm a business owner) if a customer come in early or after my hours and I saw that customer, I definitely answer that customer and serve him/her. that what make customer service superior and not just acting like a robot... it wouldn't have hurt anyone to answer my phone calls, few minutes before you open ... won't hurt anyone or anything ... I hate it when employees act like robot and say I am only open from 7 to 6 and not one min before or after ... no one want a robot service... people want human service .... please correct me if I'm wrong ... again Your product is fantastic however the customer service lately is lacking. Also when I go out to eat, I literally don't care about the food, I go out to enjoy my time and the service... people want the great customer service and quality of product comes second .... hope this helps... thank you.

Best king cakes! They are not too sweet. The fresh bread is amazing!

Love this place. Got a turtle king cake and it is great. Especially when you add a little butter and microwave it. Service was good but not really friendly. Overall, check it out.

First time in Lake Charles and decided to go here for lunch. Glad we did!!! We had amazing sandwiches, coffee that was out of this world, and cookies to die for. Highly recommend trying this place.

Delicious bakery serving all sorts of pastries and breads, with great lunch options and locally roasted coffees. I 100% recommend getting the cinnamon raisin bread pudding, it’s easily 100/10, couldn’t stop eating it lol. Grain bowl was good too.

I can’t not say enough about how helpful and kind an employee named Alex was at our recent visit. It’s nice to go somewhere that still has employees that want to help and are kind to others. Thank you Alex for making our experience a good one!! We will definitely be back!!!

This place is fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the food fabulous. Their sandwiches are the best in the area and the selections of bread they have can’t be matched. Their service and staff is their best quality, so friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sale.

This is one of the best bakeries I have ever been in… the food is always delicious and the staff is absolutely delightful !! I will be back and highly recommended!!

Absolutely one my daughter and I’s favorite places to eat. They are always consistently great! We are always greeted with smiles, along with excellent customer service. We always look forward to King Cake time too! Hands down the best king cakes in town!

An amazing bakery to visit. The salads are my favorite! The breakfast sandwich is wonderful as well. I ordered a loaf of cinnamon chip bread to make French toast and it turned out amazing. Something to always look forward to when I go. Be sure to check them out during Mardi Gras. They allowed me to sample different cakes to decide which would fit my taste. I ordered the blueberry flavor. It was a hit!

Everything here is amazing! If you go here, I recommend the breakfast toast sandwich, it comes with a very yummy garlic spread. Their lattes are just as good!

This place is very good . I had a breakfast sandwich from here . It was the Havarti and ham on honey wheat . I add bacon to it. Sandwich tasted like momma made the sandwich after she finished baking some fresh bread. Definitely will return when I come to visit my folks in the Boot!

My first visit to Great Harvest did not disappoint! When I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcome. The atmosphere is lovely and the restaurant super clean. I tried the Salted Caramel Cookies and oh my!! They were truly the tastiest I have ever had and my family agreed! I also tried the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and although not a huge fan of the pumpkin craze, they were scrumptious and may have changed my mind about the former. I will return, and look forward to trying the soup and sandwiches that I hear are amazing. Great job to the local proprietors for working hard to maintain excellence !!

Had a breakfast with my daughter while visiting LC. Nice layout, great looking baked items, breakfast sandwich was good. They could give out table markers as delivery of food is calling your name (despite the noise of customers and workers) while walking around with your food. I'll visit again.

We wanted to try something new today and so glad we found this place. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. You can see that they take pride in the food they serve. This place is so clean you can eat off the floor. Can't wait to come back again!
