This place is a true hidden gem!! 🌟 The food is delicious!!! We tried the pita delux and it was loaded with meat, fresh veggies, and the perfect amount of feta cheese and tzatziki sauce. So delicious!! 😋 The Greek fries are so yummy as well! But the star of the show for me was the nutella honey fried bread!!! 🤩👌 It’s warm soft and delicious!! They top it off with warm honey, nutella and powder sugar. One of the most delicious desserts I’ve ever tried!! Please be ware that this place gets really busy, therefore expect to wait, but it’s well worth the wait for the quality of food you receive. This place is a must try!!!

This is a diamond in the rough. It's tucked back in the little strip mall but, it's a gem. Best gyro and hummus I have had in a really long time. Good service. Good prices considering inflation.

This place is great and veterans get a discount. If you like spicy, get the gyro picanto. It is awesome!

So happy we have this restraunt in STV the food is sooo good. The hummus is my favorite I've never had better hummus. The pitas are excellent too me and my husband always love our food every time we eat here. I highly reccomend it.

Amazing little spot in San Tan. Hummus was flavorful, tzatziki was fresh and well seasoned, and the gyro meat was so tender. Pricing was very reasonable for the portion sizes. I highly recommend and you won't be disappointed. Definitely my new go to spot.

The food is always good here. It's pricey! My wife and I got large greek salads and split a french fry. It was over $40. I will say we each got 2 meals out of it.

Greek Islands has the best food in San Tan Valley. The gyro meat is always perfectly fresh and tasty. The Gyro Fries are fantastic. Don't be afraid to splurge on dessert because you will not be disappointed.

The food is AMAZING, however the service has been inconsistent in the past. For a long period of time they would not answer their phone, and did not have a fixed schedule for months. But they have improved tremendously since then. As a regular at this restaurant, I recommend it highly.

The food from Greek Islands is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. I truly have never been disappointed eating here and haven’t had anything I didn’t like. Would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re thinking about it. Their Greek fries are amazing and the honey bread is a really fun sweet treat.

Food was fresh and the Gyros was packed full of meat.

Amazing. I wish I had two mouths and a backup stomach. We ordered the grilled chicken and hummus appetizer with jalapeño cilantro hummus, the gyro pita and the Philly cheesesteak. We were only able to eat about half of each, it’s a lot of food. I’m counting down the time until I get hungry again so I can finish. Also, I was unfamiliar with Greek food when I called, and they were very helpful and patient on the phone. It was also ready and hot in exactly 15 minutes, like I was told it would be. We’ll be going again this weekend to try the other dishes.

Nicest customer service ever. My card wasn’t working and the owner let me have a meal on the house. Additionally food was really good and the cheesesteaks are meaty!

I went to pick up an order from this restaurant, and the food wasn't even started. After waiting for about 15 to 20 mins I kindly asked the guy how long the wait would be so I can let the customer know. The guy was bald and wearing a hat had the rudest response. Instead of giving a time frame he started a sarcastic rant. The bad part was I was going to go back later that day and get food for myself but after that experience I will never order food from them. Updated The owner needs to use this review as advice to better their service and relationship with doordash and try to figure out a solution as to why the drivers are coming earlier then expected. This will make for a better dasher and customers experience. Owner I would advise you to take the correct steps at rectifying this issue then coming back with an unprofessional response.

We wanted something quick and decided on this place. Boy were we glad we did. Personally, I just wanted a good Greek salad (it was delicious), but decided to share this and a Gyro and glad I did. The Gyro was very delicious and between this and the salad we were very full. Highly recommend this place.

As someone who hasn't had a ton of Greek food, I may not be an expert, but I can share my experience and thoughts on Greek Island Grill. I have visited Greek Island Grill twice, and one aspect that stood out to me was the slightly higher price compared to other restaurants. The service at Greek Island Grill gave me the impression of being an American on a Greek island, bothering a local for food. Although the staff was not rude, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of customer service. It would be great to see them enhance their interactions with customers to create a more welcoming and enjoyable experience. On the positive side, the food at Greek Island Grill arrived fairly quickly, and it was evident that each dish was made to order. The freshness of the ingredients, particularly the pitas, added a delightful touch to the overall dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool, and despite the constant flow of guests, it managed to maintain cleanliness. I liked the Salad but there was something missing. I will try the Kids meals next as they look like just the right size for me.

Moved from Chicago a few months ago and was craving a gyro. Found this place while driving around, and it definitely satisfied my craving.

We love ordering from here on door dash. I love the Philly chicken Pita and the pita with tizyky sauce. Sooooo goood and so filling. Love it love it love it!

Gyros to die for! What a gem. With not much to choose from out here in San Tan Valley, finding Greek Islands Grill was a huge win. But besides that, the Gyro was amazing, super flavorful, not greasy, and clean tasting! I also had a side of falafel, which was excellent. Perfect amount of crisp and softness. Wonderful consistency. The service was friendly and the place was clean and well taken care of. 10/10

I came in today for lunch to try this place out, ordered a few things and was pretty satisfied with the whole experience. Some things could be improved, and I would come again. Food: Grilled chicken pita, 5/5 - the best item I ordered, and would recommend a try. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The pita was delicious and soft. The Taziki and other condiments were perfectly portioned for the size of it. French fries, 5/5 - cooked perfectly, not soggy and had a crunch. Seasoning was also great. Grape leaves (Doma), 1/5 - I would not recommend this item. The filling (rice and perhaps meat?) were mushy and very unappetizing. The taste almost made me spit out the first bite. The leaves themselves were also extremely oily. Falafel, 4.5/5 - I recommend this item. The pieces were uniform, golden brown, and has a slight crunch when bitten into (perfect). The inside was also quite tasty, but was ever so slightly dry. Service: everyone was friendly, and the cashier quickly helped customers when needed. They also brought the food out to us when it was ready. Atmosphere: the restaurant is very clean, and has a beautiful mural on one of the walls. This restaurant is very inviting, and clearly displays the menu on the wall right as you approach the counter. You can also see some of the kitchen, which I find to be a nice touch to see how the food is made.

Ate there a few days ago for the first time since the new owners took over. I had the Gyro, and wow! It was SO good. Husband had the Philly cheese steak it was good, but not enough veggies. Fries are still amazing!

I called in my order when I arrived I had to wait one hour for my food.

Portions of everything have gotten smaller even the toppings were sparse. Food is definitely not like it used to be.

Love your food, reminds me of times I had when I was overseas in the Navy, this is an update from my past post. Recently found out this establishment was purchased from someone else, and now, at a decent time, you can now enjoy your taste buds with mouthwatering Greek Islands food.

I’m a picky eater so I was nervous to try the lamb but it was amazing. I got the deluxe gyro and 10/10 loved it. The restaurant is so cute on the inside and the staff was amazing! My husband and I will definitely be making this a regular spot.

Gyro Platter was very good. Great portion size and filling. We will certainly be going back.

This place was fantastic! We shared the gyro platter which included a great greet salad and yummy fries! The atmosphere was fun and the new owner is doing an excellent job taking care of his customers. The food was excellent and well priced. This will be one of our new go-to places in San Tan/Queen Creek. Make sure you try the cheesecake baklava as it is incredible! Can't wait to go back!

Outstanding! My wife and I had dinner there recently and loved it! We had the Gyro platter which was perfectly prepared! Jake, the new owner, is doing an amazing job and has made this one of our new favorite places to eat! Can't wait to return. Oh...grab a piece of the baklava cheesecake if they haven't sold out. Also incredible!

Never got to eat. Sat down with our 7# service dog and the guy behind the counter yelled at me to leave. No dogs allowed he said. I said here’s her paperwork and here’s her vest and you’re not allowed to ban a service animal. We simply left with a sour taste already. You don’t treat your customers this way and it could have been handled better. Shame on you! We will not be back.

Update with new ownership. The food has gotten even better. I loved it before but somehow you all made it more fantastic. Love your gyros and the combo appetizer. Can't wait to try more. 2020: Always the best gyros!! Great food and always a friendly staff.

I recently had the best gyro of my life! The meat was incredibly tender, and the gyro was bursting with flavor. I can't recommend it enough – definitely a five-star experience!

Only real bummer is that Chicago dogs are no longer on the menu but not a deal breaker for me as long as I can continue to get gyros, pizza puffs, and crinkle fries I am good to go but this is def a place to visit if you haven't been. Best gyro's this side of town in my opinion. People there are genuinely always friendly and happy...Happy place, Happy Taste.

We love eating at Greek Island they have the best gyros. My favorite is a gyro Ceasar pita. I have ordered it for years and now two of my kids order it too.

As of 05/20/2023 there is no dining in. Call first because they are thinking of opening earlier for lunch and opening dining in. Always love this store!

Everything was fantastic! Great customer service from the person who took our order over phone. Our order was triple checked to make sure everything was correct, the food was so good that myself and my husband did a little happy dance 😆. We haven’t been to this restaurant in a long time, seems like great improvements have been made. Highly recommend this place!

We tried this place for the first time tonight since we moved here and I wish we would have tried it sooner! Great Food! I am in love! I love Greek food and it was amazing! Very Nice people too! Our Gyros were huge! Very full! I am so happy we found this place. (They are not allowing people to dine in though). We just took it to go and enjoyed it at home!

I used to like this place and their food. That was back when they were reliable. I had my last meal from them now.

First time visit and it was delicious, the tzatziki was well balanced and smooth. Got the chicken & hummus appetizer as a main course cause I didn’t see a chicken gyro with hummus, got it with the jalapeño cilantro hummus and although I was a little disappointed with the 2 small sides of hummus it was still very filling, only ate half so it worked out in the end. Will definitely be going back.

Great little local clean restaurant, it really does have awesome food, but the hours are terrible. It's unfortunate that they're only open for a measly four hours a day it really should be open from 12pm - 8pm or 2pm - 8pm, it's also odd that there's no dine-in you can only order it to-go. So the "dine-in" claim on google is incorrect so I'll -1 star until it's fixed.

I was here the day after this place opened around 2010. It was amazing. Set the bar for small town Greek food and service. Now, you have to eat it cold and only for 4 hours a day. Take out only, (despite their Google profile professing dine-in). Can't rate the food, service is moot, and the atmosphere is poor.

I just wish they were open longer. I can never make it on time before closing. They are open such a short window of time. I love this place.

This place is bomb. Delicious. I wish they could expand to better serve the area. Whenever I want food they're closed or too busy. And they don't deliver. It's a great place with solid people but I don't go because it's so rarely available.

Best food I have ever had in my life

Absolutely love Greek Island Grill!!! As someone who grew up around the Chicago area, I’m picky about my gyros. Greek Island is one of only two places I will get gyros from in Az. They are always on point and their gyro meat is tender and delicious and cooked perfectly!!! The staff are so nice and friendly and the food is consistently on point. Greek Island is definitely worth craving over and then enjoying the rewards when you finally cave on your cravings. Lol
