If you haven't been to Greens on Palm Beach then it's not even worth telling you about. They've been there since 1938 for a reason. The food is amazing and the staff is super friendly.

I am a lover of visiting historical and locally owned stores and diners. It was extremely disappointing to see what they have allowed it to become. The facilities need a deep cleaning, and historical locations are old, but that doesn't mean they must be dirty and unorganized. My eggs were tasteless and bland, my bacon overcooked, and it took almost sending up road flares to get a refill.

First time visiting West Palm and we got a little sidetracked looking to park and walk for lunch. We saw sign and pulled in. Reminded me of old fashion luncheon place. Lots of choices for sandwiches. Lunch was great. Had Turkey club and it was full of meat. Great find

Now I loved JFK as a president but his choice of food lacked his choice of foods. Great for old fashioned burgers and shakes but the rest is far from good. The people who go here for the most part are here for the hype of history. Should you go here, Sure. It is like going back in time. I get the burgers and pay a bit more for the shakes which I do like. I do love the diner style and have since I was a kid. The store is old and shows its age. All types go here. It can be fun like a visit to Worth Ave..I have had a regular meal here and they are not so great. Breakfast is just ok but go up the road to Mamosa for a really good breakfast or lunch. Now thats a great deal.however the reminder of the old times is nice and should be saved. people have been going here for many years and I hope that they will for many more. Tradition is a great thing and in an area like this should be savered like good wine.

If you’re looking for a unique local ‘greasy spoon’ type for breakfast, this is worth a stop in. I walked here from The Breakers and in what can be a posh town, Green’s is like stepping back in time with the luncheonette connected to a pharmacy/shop. The menu is very basic - not a lot of ‘special’ breakfast options, but that’s fine with me. Glad I tried it! Update: stopped in again on a recent trip to Palm Beach 2 years after the first visit to Green’s. Same great local spot. Get away from Breakers and try this place!

Seemed like a popular diner atmosphere with lots of locals. Friendly service and old fashioned feel which was nice. Food was not so good but worth it for the atmosphere.

We had a fantastic lunch. The service is fast and friendly. The sandwiches are authentic NY deli style, and the milkshake is fantastic and well worth the price. We highly recommend Green's for breakfast and lunch. It is a unique find in this land of chain franchise restaurants.

I read a lot of reviews of how expensive it is and how small the portions are. Wasn’t expensive at all and was shocked at how big the portions were. The service was amazing and entertaining as our waitresses bantered back and forth. The food was great. Nice walk from The Breakers.

Horrible experience. Used to be a great place. We sat at the counter and ordered a Turkey BLT on Rye and a grilled cheese with tomato. We were on our lunch break. We asked a couple of times and our server said it would be up shortly. Forty minutes later she asked if we still wanted the bread for the BLT toasted because it would take a lot longer. Anxious to get back to work we said no. The food was horrible and the service even worse. A shame because I have been coming here for many years. We considered ordering a milkshake at $10 but when we saw the server smooshing down the ice cream with her fingers we decided to skip. Our server was running around the place like she was on something and couldn’t remember why! I Hope Management reads this and makes changes because this was the worst experience.

Delicious stop for lunch in Palm Beach. Delightful service by a helpful and cheerful young waitress. We had the day’s special of Island Chicken which was guaranteed to please and it did. The Philly cheese steak was also very good.

Would you like the closest thing to a “regular” locals experience that you can find on PB Island? This is it. Breakfast is a tradition among the “old guard” who come here in the morning to sip coffee while discussing the mergers and acquisitions from yesteryear. Love the waitresses who have worked here forever, and the cook who makes delicious, down home fixins. The food is plentiful and by Palm Beach standards, a major bargain. While you’re here you can pick up anything an old fashioned 5 and dime would have had too. A must visit for breakfast or lunch!

Old, small-town feel. We ate breakfast here (once) and lunch here (twice) while in town for a week. Elegant eateries are everywhere in PB, but you don't really expect to find a place like this. We had eggs and bacon, homemade muffins, and pancakes, burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches...all delicious. I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich for lunch! Drinks are served in large "plastic glasses" and you rarely need a refill. Watch the cook prepare food while at the counter. Small, laid back place and a visit is on my calendar every time I visit the area.

We went for lunch, Is a pharmacy with a luncheonette area. Good for breakfast and simple lunch. We ask for sandwiches and they come with chips. Fresh ingredients but with a lot of lettuce, tomatoes and onions but only 2 slices of meat. Cost $12.95 to $14.95. A malt shake cost $10.25. Closed at 2 or 3 pm. The pharmacy is well stocked, but prices are high. Friendly service.

Well... the food was okay... a 'C' at best. The order took two tries to get it close to correct... and then the bill came; the prices were astronomical! Think $10 for a milk shake... $7 for a side of terrible French fries. I won't be going back anytime soon.

True to an old school diner or soda fountain. Great food served quickly. Reasonably priced with very large drinks. Great sweet tea. The beef stroganoff on Wednesdays is the best. I don't think I have had anything that I did not like in the 7+ times I've been here. There is counter seating or table service. It's located in a pharmacy/drugstore. There are a good bit of things to look at inside Green's. They have a good collection of hand painted signs hanging around that are for sale.

It's a nice place, but not a great place. I think, as a visitor, that it seems to be a tad over hyped. No ambiance is the ambiance. Very comfortable with no pretense in a town that's all pretense. The lunch was tasty, but certainly not any better than any other place that serves burgers and sandwiches. It did bring back memories of my mispent youth when I'd have lunch at the local Rexall drug store on an afternoon out shopping with my mom. Tip: Park in the back lot and enter through the back door. Much easier than trying to find a spot out front.

I came for breakfast. This place is nothing fancy. You don't come here for atmosphere. But the food and service are good. I had bacon and eggs with toast and coffee.

Stopped in for lunch today. Old fashioned lunch counter. Ordered a tuna salad sandwich. It was huge and really good. Place is definitely not typical stuffy Palm Beach. The only thing to comment on is housekeeping. It didn’t look that clean and sanitized as needed especially during the Covid crisis.

The staff, cleanliness and food was great.....bring an appetite! We sat at the old style bar and the waitress was funny and fast. Lots of regulars which tells you a lot. Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

When I was a kid coming to Florida with my parents, this is exactly the kind of place we would have had lunch. Sandwiches, cole slaw and lunch plates. The pharmacy is a fun place to look for souvenirs, sundries and items you might not see anywhere else.

We had breakfast-for-lunch after Mass at Saint Edward's Church across the street. The setting was authentic, the food was delicious, and our server, Denise, was delightful. It's walking distance from the Breakers on the same street.

This is an old fashioned greasy spoon so I’m judging it based on that. The service was terrific and all the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. It’s absolutely not fancy or healthy, but I was in the mood for coffee and French toast and...

Breakfast eggs were good. Bacon was ok. The service management needs to put on more team members. Greens management can't afford not to in order to keep the reputation it currently has.

You never know who might drop in for lunch. It was a favorite hangout for after Mass lunch for the Kennedy clan for years. The food is a typical diner lunch fare. Reasonably good and fresh ingredents. Number one choice - Milk Shakes!

A Palm Beach institution; think walking into a time warp 1950’s luncheonette-pharmacy-Beach store, right out of a movie set. Love this place; been going there for almost 40 years.

The pharmacy with fountain is still alive. You've got to have a chocolate milk shake with your lunch. sandwiches, wraps,etc. All good. Don't forget to walk around and see what pharmacies used to look like. The only negative is the weight you could gain.

The place was busy for breakfast, service was slow but understandable. The Waitress was polite but not socializing. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere, found it different to be in a Pharmacy. The place is not elegant, looks like a diner by definition to include the waitress, reminds me of truck stop diner, the seats are not very comfortable. Overall it’s easy to feel comfortable in the place, homely. The food was good, nothing super special, eggs, steak toast, no extras added for flavor or presentation, they just cooked it. Breakfast Review - OK but there are better in the area TG has been there several times, and so this is "solid review. "TG thinks Green's is an interesting place, but there is better food in the area and gives Green's a "C-". Greens is located in an old pharmacy in Palm Beach across from the Catholic Church (St. Edwards) on North County Road. The pharmacy is a "blast from the past" featuring Beanie Babies and Russel Stover box chocolates. It was both counter and table seating and no outdoor seating (a common problem for Palm Beach and a shame given the weather). I would describe the menu as "limited" and not very creative. There are "specials" but normally just two. While the servers are very pleasant; I would suggest they are not very observant (they miss topping up and refilling coffees). Prices are a bit high for the quality and selection, but this the "Island" so some latitude is in order. Dishes come in under seasoned - requiring salt and pepper as often as not, and maybe a result of a generally older clientele. "Facilities" are not well kept up. Not bad but not as good as they should be. The food is well prepared for what it is. The meal presentation is minimal (not a big deal, but simply an observation). Green's can be a very busy place on the weekends after church, and on weekends during the season. Weekday mornings can be a bit crowded as well during the season. It would be a bit difficult to sit more that four people, but I assume adjoining tables could be brought together. Coffee is good. Note that you need to pay at the pharmacy counter, which is a bit odd. TG will return but simply for variety. TasteGhost - "You just never know who is dining with you!"™

We wanted to have lunch at Greens, but as we were walking towards it, mass from the church across the street was just letting out, and many of the parishioners went straight there, so it was pretty crowded. So we just bought some cold drinks...

So me and my wife wanted to try a cheaper place to eat but a little skeptical. Besides being in a drug store (which was i think part of the environment of the place).
