Found this place looking for restaurants in the area and let me tell you!!!!!!!! I’ve been eating barbecue all my life and I’ve ate it in every part of this country and this place by far is one of the best could not ask for better food and the hospitality amazing!!!!! I want to personally thank these folks!!!!!!!!

Some of the best BBQ I've had in awhile. Loaded fires was amazing. The Smoken Barrell Chicken sandwich was delicious and had amazing smoke flavor to it.. The only thing I would recommend is to be open more.. What definitely recommend this place to other people...

Everything was tasty and the service was amazing. We had the loaded mac, brisket, chicken and green beans. Smoked chicken was amazing! Definitely eat here if you get a chance!!

I was referred here by my boss, and let me tell you.....WOW! The BEST brisket I've ever had. The owners were the MOST genuine, heart harming humans I've ever met. They didn't know me from Adam and treated me like I was family, including an amazing hug!! I'm so sorry for not catching her name, but the sweetest lady stepped outside and said "I love you, and be blessed"! ❤️

Outstanding!!! We finally have some barbecue in New Castle that is worth it’s weight in gold. It’s back off the street and we found it quite by accident. But it’s hard to imagine this won’t be a monthly if not weekly ritual for us.

We tried this place on a whim last night. Immediately upon entering we were welcomed, we told the gentleman that it was our first time and he told us to take a seat and he would be right back. After only a minute or so he came back with a sample of all the meats and sauces! They were all so good! We got the 3 meat and 3 sides with extra side of pork and it fed our family of four just fine ( we even took some home ). The fries were PIPING hot and fresh, the Mac n cheese was killer, and the rolls/bun were soft and fresh. The lemonade and tea was perfect with the meats ( we got pork tips, pulled pork and chicken- ALL AMAZING) The food and people were so great we came back the next day for dinner again to try the brisket- it is also great! We will be coming back frequently!

2day I visited Grill't for the 1st time. I had the loaded fries, sippi spuds n the brisket was so tender. Evrythin was amazin, best I've evr had. 10 across the board. Very friendly establishment. Well definitely visit again.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being introduced to a barbecue restaurant called Grill'T this place is amazing!! They have a nice variety of food on the menu & I actually went to get rib tips or ribs but they were all out. I didn't think that I was going to like the smoke & barrel pulled chicken but let me just say this it was awesome! It just melts in your mouth & is very tasty & has a nice mild seasoning. I also had down younder green beans ,Mac and cheese , and sippi spuds for my sides & to top it off i had half sweet tea & lemo ade for my drink .This is the best food I've ever eaten! This is my place to eat for now on I will be back for those ribs, rib tips, & desert. Thank you A&D Plumb Masters for telling me about this place.

Best BBQ I've had at a restaurant!

Absolutely loved the pulled pork sandwich and the Mac and cheese was to die for! Can't wait to go back and try some more! I love the family environment and welcoming from the owners. They made sure we had a great experience and were super nice! This place deserves off the chart stars!!

I love going and trying family owned hole in the wall type of restaurants! This place was amazing! From the food to the service! We had our two littles with us and they were so accommodating. When they cook the meat it sometimes carries some of the smoke with it. My son has bad allergies and was coughing. They brought out a fan for him to help move the smoke out and even told us they would come and personally fan him to help 😂 they were so sweet to our family as we were just passing through! I feel like I could keep going but I would be writing a book by the time I finished with talking about their friendly atmosphere! We will definitely be coming back when passing through!

Sooooooo good! When your 6 year old eats most of your green beans you know they have to be awesome! The service was as good as the food; the owner talked to my kiddo to make sure she was happy with everything and even offered to change the channel on the TV for her! Will be back OFTEN!!

My sister's, brother-in-law and a niece stopped in for the first time this evening and wow, what an awesome place. The family who owns the restaurant is extremely sweet and helpful. 3 of us had the rib tips and put half spicy and half sweet sauce, which was delicious. 2 had the pulled pork and they said it was exceptionally good. The sides were fantastic as well. Fries, mac and cheese, green beans and baked beans were the best I've had outside my home in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!!

Oh my gawddd.. I'm not from Indiana. I believe there was really no good food to be had here. Grillt had changed my mind. The BBQ was fire. Sticky BBQ sauce, good portions, such sweet ladies. My husband and I were about to fall over we were so full. Almost had to call in a fork lift to haul us out of the building. Those ladies were working their tails off and the people just kept coming in one after another after another. It was wild! Someone give this business a giant donation so they can expand! They DESERVE it!

Food is the best. Hospitality is the best. We will be back. Had the chicken sandwich and ribs.

The food is beyond this world every little thing taste so authentic and homemade. The meat is always juicy, flavorful and melts in your mouth none of that fatty gristle nonsense just pure smoked deliciousness. I am honored that Grillt is apart of New Castle. Greeted as soon as you walk into the place and blessed before you walk out and let me tell you, you feel blessed before you walk out! I thank the man above for leading me to this town and starting me on the door dasher quest because if he hadn't I wouldn't have found this place. Food is AMAZING! Menu is small but flavors are big and with flavors this big they don't need a large menu! I would recommend this place 100 times out of 100 times. Next time I'm there(probably tomorrow for rib tips) I will try not to be in such a hurry to scarf it down and get a good picture to add to the review lol! Had the Smoke N Barrel Pulled Chicken yesterday, and it was on point. And their Sweet BBQ Sauce might just be the best I've ever had. If you haven't tried them yet you are missing out!

I've ate here a few times, my ultimate favorite is the sloppy stack fries add pulled pork, it's mouth watering an you won't be disappointed😊 also the people there are amazing. This place is my weekly spot.

This was my first time here as I've been branching out and trying new places. Since I work in New Castle currently I've tried Mings and this place within the last 2 months and although mings was a Chinese buffet it wasn't anything to write home about. It was meh. before I talk about the food I have to say the best part of this experience was the amazing customer service. They're a lovely team of ladies. They're the type of people who make a place shine. The food was melt in your mouth delicious. If you have to wait at all its worth the wait. Everyone needs to hear about this place. I'll recommend to any and everyone.

First of all, let me say as a 300 pound fat kid they have some delicious food don’t be scared to pack on a few pounds When you go there lol, I could eat this place at least twice a week the people are as nice as they come, and they make the experience that much better.

First time through New Castle and looking for a place for a late lunch. I'm always on the hunt for good BBQ. Most of the time I am disappointed. This is one of those rare occasions I was not. This is a quaint little restaurant that has a writing on the wall from those who has visited it. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and welcomed. The menu was explained as soo as she learned it was our first time there. I had the half ribs, green bean side and sloppy or "loaded" fries. It was explained there would be a wait on the ribs due to another large order going out. While we were waiting a sample of spicy fries were brought out for us to try and enjoy (they were very good). The Ribs Let me say, these ribs were thick. I mean thick like BBL thick! They had plenty of meat on them. The sweet BBQ was like syrup and they weren't so tender it flopped off the bone and not so tough that you had to beat it off the bone. One critique is the smoke flavor was light and the sauce covered it up. I like heavy smoke so, my preference. They definitely weren't the small weak wimpy ribs I have had in other chain BBQ restaurants. These ribs are near the top in my book. The sides were on point as well. The Staff The hostess was polite, professional and gracious. Even if the food was bad her attitude and politeness would still have made everything ok. The pit master came out and checked on the quality of our meats himself. Advised if we weren't satisfied he would cook it to our liking. Overall This appears to be a family owned restaurant with the family working hard to make it successful. This shines through with the way they treat everyone who walks through their doors. The hospitality would make this and enjoyable experience even if you didn't particularly care for the food. Even though this is over an hour from where we live, we will return again very soon! I highly recommend as you're scrolling through the map app that you don't skip this spot.

The food is amazing! Loved the Ribs and the Pulled Pork. The Barbeque sauce is pure perfection. The Spicy Barbeque sauce is great as well, if you enjoy a little kick. Great atmosphere! Very caring and friendly staff. The owner and some of the staff sang Happy Birthday to me (twice, actually-lol). We will definitely return here to enjoy some more of the amazing food that is prepared here.

The food was made with Love and they make you feel like you're at home. My first visit, but definitely not my last visit.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The service is the best I’ve received. It’s like eating at a relative’s house with how much “at home” you feel. The food is great and seems to get better with every trip. The owner just came out and let us sample fried pickles. While they’re not on the menu, they definitely should be! Their current location is easy to miss as it’s tucked away behind Weenie World, I hope this review motivates everyone to give Grill’t a try! Also the homemake their ranch and it’s to die for (I’m not a ranch person).

This was my first time here and I actually stumbled upon it by accident when I was searching for a barbecue restaurant in this area. But as the old saying goes everything happens for a reason. And there was definitely a reason why the good Lord brought me here tonight! And before I talk about the food I have to say the best part of this experience was the amazing customer service. The food can be good anywhere but it's the people that really puts the bow on it. I told the staff that I was going to go home and fire my mother because the food was so good but not only am I going to fire her I might sue her for never making food that's good for me. The food was absolutely amazing. I did the three meats, brisket, pulled pork, and rib tips and everything was maid to perfection! In fact it was so good that this was one of those occasions where I ordered even more food to go. All of the meets were perfectly cooked and super tender. I also had the mac and cheese which was to die for as well as the green beans and baked . If you don't live near this restaurant, I'm telling you right now however far you have to drive is going to be well worth it! This is another one of those times where I have to say run don't walk to this place and thank me later. The only negative I can give you right now is that they don't have more locations. 10 Stars! Finally, I don't normally review non-alcoholic drinks but the unsweet tea was also super good. And don't any of you come for me for not drinking sweet tea. 😂

My parents brought my husband and I here for the first time yesterday! Some of the BEST bbq I’ve had in indiana & in general. We got the rib tips, monster Mac & regular fries, everything was well seasoned and made with LOVE! Also tried the baked beans (made with molasses) OMG. Amazing. Others at the table had ribs, pulled chicken & green beans. There were no complaints! The family is so so sweet, as sweet as there tea! Will be going back, can’t wait till we do!

Our family stopped in tonight specifically for the birria tacos special because they are one of our faves. They were amazing!!! My daughter had her go-to loaded mac and I snagged one to go. The food has only gotten better since day 1. Beyond the food, the hospitality is top notch. It’s like visiting family and leaving with some of the best home cooking.
