Update(9/1/24) Around 3-30-4pm I entered the place with some stale fries that I received just the night before. It was a ToGo order, I didn't expect them to be warm by the time I got home but I expected them to be fresh when I did warm them up. I kindly asked if it would be possible if I could have them replaced to no avail. I was meet with "you could have reheated them" ugh, NO DUH!!!!! (OLD) If you haven't been here you better check it out, this is one heck of a place! Real nice warm friendly people work here! You can get the luck of the Irish here!

It’s not what it used to be 10 years ago but it’s still a great pub. I wish they would bring back some food items that were popular like pastrami burger. Good selection of drinks!

Really more of a beer pub type place. They have food but it isn't super but beer choice is good.

We come here quite often and never have a bad time, the food is great and the alcohol is well poured. My only gripe is the jukebox situation. Either they have it locked, so you can't use it or it's unlocked, and you do play next, and your song never comes on. The app will tell you your 27th in line or some nonsense like that, I've wasted a decent amount of change on it already.

Had some mediocre experiences here in the past but came to celebrate for my buddy's bday last saturday and we were all playing darts and having a good time. Would go back.

Great people, great atmosphere, great food, great drinks, great fun! Hop inside for that comfy pub feel, pic music on the jukebox, be entertained by karaoke, or enjoy games with friends on the patio.

Even though the bartender was so busy, he did such a great job and treated us like princesses! A+ Karaoke night was fun!

Good beer and good food. Bartenders/running staff needs better attentiveness when it cones to guests sitting at tables and not only the bar patrons. Seems like they were just chatting up with buddies instead of working most of the time.

Chill place to have some drinks with friends

Probably one of the best bars I've been to yet. The bartenders are not only friendly but also aren't afraid to chat and have one on one conversations. Food didn't disappoint and the drinks were great. If your looking for more of a saloon rather than a club, Groggs is the place to go.

Unfriendly staff, long wait times, dirty dishes, and a lot of drama. Unless you're friends with someone that goes here, do not recommend you go. Save your time and money.

The fried chicken is easily the best in town. Ask for it extra crispy and you'll be treated to a juiciest wings and drumsticks with a perfect crunch. It isn't much of a stout spot, but their IPA's and such are on point. Next best option is the cheesesteak.

Only 1 restroom as the men's was out of order or under renovation.

groggs is bomb 💣. great food, and drink! great music, peoples, and atmosphere.

This Pub, is a joke. I give it No stars. Poor customer service No authentic Irish food How could you even consider yourself an Irish pub when you can't even make a black and tan. Very limited menu and water down drinks.

Glad to see Harvey is at this place, he’s personable, friendly and always makes sure your taken care of. Everyone behind the bar is exceptional and makes sure your experience will make you come back. Great to know you can go somewhere you feel welcomed. Just added photo of the sliders, damn good!

Great modest beer selection. The grilled cheese and tomato bisque combined with their chicken wings is a stellar meal, especially followed by an ice cold beer.

Fun and chill bar. Fast and friendly service. We sat in the more quieter side of the bar where they also have electronic dart boards-fun!

Tap is always ice cold & cocktails are tasty! Bar food is exceptional!!!

Fun place. But the bartenders were rude

There were three people working at the bar there at the time excluding the kitchen staff. About six people were at the bar and it still took them 10+ minutes to get me my beer. Food was classic American choices and was pretty good and delivered fast. Like others have said, staff is pretty friendly but they like to pause and talk to regulars often making someone new like myself wait a good while.

I've been wanting to come here for a while but got my first chance today. The food was so delicious I recommend the cheesesteak! They have outdoor dining dining as well.

The service is great here. If you go more than once they will remember you. It is a chill atmosphere, and is a great place to hangout with friends. The food is fantastic, and you can pretty much order any drink you can think of. It is great to eat at a table, in the back with the games, or sit at the bar. Always a great time. If you like a crowd go after 8:00pm. If you like less people be sure to go anytime before 8:00pm.

Jameson on tap… need I say more? Really though, it’s an amazing pub with good food and a great atmosphere. Their yearly St. Patrick’s Day celebration is so much fun.

This place does not have a huge menu but what they do have is excellent tasting. Great atmosphere and good drinks

Friendly environment, smiles all around. Good bar food, I had a slider and some from fries those were excellent. Inside and outside drinking area with a cool fan outside for hot weather.

Nice patio set up outside (in addition to their normal patio space, they took parking lot spaces. Employees are wearing mask, I saw people cleaning tables. They still have Happy Hour! Food purchase is required*. Love Groggs. Almost St. Patrick's day. 365 days from when we here in Fresno

This place set up the coolest patio for covid with tvs an decorations nice job pretzels were so good.

Have been here a few times before, twice before covid and once after. The times beforehand were amazing, great service, grub, and beer. This last time, wow, I won't let one waiter hold them down, but thank you for being drunk while serving us, giving us the wrong food, and ruining my buddies 21st. Atleast we will have stories about this night for years to come.

The wings had great flavor, the fries are done of the best, but their chicken stops are their typical chicken steps from Cisco. Wish they had a few salad choices during football on the patio

This is our go to bar for Micheladas. Becky and Josiah are the best! Tons of regulars and chilled atmosphere. They have the usual bar food. For ST Patrick’s day, I was told they have a beer garden and of course corn beef and cabbage. Plenty of parking and a great selection of beers on draft with several IPA options.

Not very expensive and clean. Very decent Irish pub, if that's what you're looking for.

The waitress spent all night flirting with the bartender instead of serving the guests.

Not sure I'll return. Service is definitely lacking. We went to have a relaxing evening and found that being ignored is more the norm here. They had shift change and we waited more than 20 minutes for acknowledgement by the new waitress. When she stopped by, one in the party already went to the bar for new drinks. So the waitress, when asked about being ignored on new drinks, just huffed and said "Is this your mess?" We'd been eating our (served) dinner so we said yes, we are eating and she started clearing the plates. Who asks patrons "is this your mess?" When referring to currently served guests? We were not messy. Our table was well kept. Not a great place for good service. The first waitress was iffy at first and the warmed after a bit. Second didn't care to bother with providing any service. Unlikely to return. Normally Irish places are pretty chill. Not this one.

One of my favorite places to eat, the experience is always terrific. After I spent some time in Ireland I learned to appreciate the culture so after coming back I have made Groggs a mainstay of mine, I hope you will to.

Service was really bad ignored us most of the night. Unfortunate they were nice people when the decided not to ignore you.

Son spent his Bachelor party here. Pub atmosphere drowned by a group of frat boys that didn't quite get the picture they were belligerent. All in all it was a decent start to the weekend but mostly not Cheers.

Couldn't give 5 stars because their online price discrepancy. I went in to get a sandwich to go that I had seen on their webpage. The bill was several dollars higher I expected to spend. The waitress did offer to have the manager talk to me and have my bill changed but I was in a hurry and hoped the food would be worth it. The sandwich and sweet potato fries were wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great sports bar experience I requested that they update the online menue.

Good atmosphere except the bar tender seems like he's miserable

Nice enough. Live music was the main attraction for us. Food and drink were typical pub grub. Friendly and efficient staff.

Fun atmosphere with live music every last Wednesday of the month. Good beers on tap, fun environment, a patio for smokers, and a good place for a good time with friends
