If you're looking for a little local coffee shop on your travels, slide off I-70 and stop in at Ground Roots Coffee. They're super cute inside and have good, strong coffee that will definitely keep you going! Plus there are several options for bottled drinks as well as snacks in case you need something non-caffeinated. I've always been treated with a smile and good service. A great place to sit and unwind in case you need it!

Great place. The staff are so friendly. They make you feel like family. And there coffee is wonderful has a great smooth taste love it.

Stopped by for a toasted marshmallow white chocolate iced latte today and it has to be the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life 😭 very sweet owner too. Very patient and made sure we loved our drinks. 10/10

Some of the most friendliest people I’ve ever met at a public place, ( The Hot Chocolate is my favorite) , they’re pop tarts are also super good and the muffins are my favorite thing to get if, if I get food♥️♥️, As for the place itself I LOVE to just order my drink and I could sit in here for HOURS if I could (which I’m sure they wouldn’t mind) The atmosphere is comfy/cozy (I’ve almost fell asleep 😂). They have other items like $5 mystery books (I’ve bought so many and the books are great), they also have I believe it’s local jams and apple butter. They have so much more also you’d have to come check the place out for yourself🌻

We stopped on our way to visit the botanical gardens and we were not disappointed! What a lovely place to grab a coffee or to spend a couple hours drinking a coffee and reading!!! The service was wonderful and the drinks were unique. We suggest you try the Head Honcho if you like spice in your coffee.

This is a wonderful family owned coffee house. When you walk in your are greeted with a friendly smile and a warm atmosphere. The coffee is made fresh and timely and I feel they cater to all. They also host several fun events throughout the year such as: sip and paints, beer tastings, coffee tastings, permenant jewelry, pops ups, and so much more. All around quality products and service.

Stopped in at Ground Roots on a road trip and got a latte and the lemon pop tart. Both were immaculate. The owner is also a gem—highly recommend!

We LOVE the coffee shop and come here very frequently, we enjoy the food, drinks and most of all Miss Beth! Her company is amazing and so welcoming!

I discovered this place totally by luck. Kiddo had a baseball game nearby and I had a hankering for caffeine. I have been visiting local shops vs chain shops and this is the reason why. What an absolutely gorgeous setup. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy a drink. The drink itself was great and the barista's recommendation was on point. Five stars for this spot!

Vegan/vegetarian options and fully customizable menu. Plethora of delightful menu picks. Terrific hours, open late and in the evenings, on weekends, including Sunday, every day. Cafe, brunch/breakfast style food items available, and desserts and specialty drinks, including alcohol. Games and activities and books. A great place to relax.

First thing you notice is the lighting and the atmosphere that it creates. This place has a cozy home feeling and the owners are very welcoming and we're running the place when I visited. My wife got the Cookie butter and carmel latte, and I had the carmel frappe.

We love Ground Roots! My daughter and I visit every Friday. I usually try the weekly coffee special and my daughter gets a pastry. Then we hang out and play games. Great coffee, good, and service. We love it here.

This is hands down one of the coolest coffee shops we’ve been too. Coffee and craft beer? Heck yeah! The Owner is so friendly and brews a mean cup of Java.

I had a few minutes to spare while waiting on some printing to be finished in another shop so I looked for a coffee shop and found Ground Roots. Cute small shop. The ladies working were so friendly and helped me decide what I wanted to drink. Settled on a hot White Chocolate Raspberry Latte. It was delicious. I don't live in Oak Grove, but I will certainly go again if I am that way. I didn't get anything to eat, so didn't give any stars for that. Thank you ladies for making my morning so nice.

It's a great little local place! The owner was there and very friendly, informative and attentive. They serve Scratch bakery items which are delicious and the coffee drink I chose was GREAT: blackberry vanilla latte. Mimosas too! As well as other adult beverages. Recommend when you're in the area.

My family and I discovered this wonderful little coffee shop while exploring the area. The aesthetic was cozy, the staff was very friendly, service was quick, and I loved my Lavender Latte. Would definitely recommend! ❤️

We go more for the drinks than food and Beth has been great working with us while we try a variety of things. We’ve tried different health drinks, coffee, cappuccino and a variety of mix drinks including after dinner ice cream drinks. Beth always makes us feel welcome regardless how busy she is and the over all atmosphere is very relaxing. Always an enjoyable experience. Thank you for having such a comfortable and enjoyable place for us to relax. Beth your great and I would recommend your place to anyone.

I love the variety of drinks, hot or cold, that are offered. The pastries are the best I have ever tasted! They offer sip and paint classes and they are enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is calm, relaxing and inviting. I recommend this establishment to all of my friends. Come and sit and have a cup of coffee where everyone is friendly!

Randomly stopped here after getting gas on a cross-country trip from California to Kentucky and so glad I did. The owner was incredibly friendly and made me one heck of an Americano. Her cafe is also thoughtfully curated and would be a great spot to sit and enjoy your coffee when you’re not a weary traveler anxious to get home. Highly recommend!

We stopped here this morning passing through town. We support local as much as we can and this was easy to do with it being just a minute off of I-70. Great customer service. We had biscuits and gravy and the pop tart with a coffee and chai. Everything was delicious!

Ground Roots Coffee has never let me down. A small, adorable family-owned shop is perfect for any day. The barista is so nice and makes great company! The food is fantastic, they have drinks ranging from coffees to smoothies to energy drinks, the variety is amazing. Coffee is worth it, they have more flavor options than Starbucks, Scooters, etc.

I stopped in this morning, on my way through town. I am glad I did. The lady at the counter was so sweet and attentive. You could tell she loves what she does. She was upbeat and was telling me about the ever changing specials and the different events. When I try a new coffee spot I always let the barista choose my drink. They tend to make you their favorite. I will be back and can’t wait to try a different drink and the kombucha. Bonus they do sell cocktails and will be back to enjoy a cocktail with some girlfriends.

I love Ground Roots Coffee! Their seasonal lattes have been so fun to try and they’re always willing to cater to whatever I'm feeling when I stop in. Also the baked goods are so yummy. They also always have fun events or popups happening. Santa was there for the kiddos around Christmas! It’s a great environment and my favorite coffee shop to go to when I’m wanting to grab a little treat.

This is the place for coffee along I-70. The owner custom sources and has her beans roasted in Kansas City and she has water filters in the store for a great coffee experience.

Beth makes the BEST iced vanilla latte w/ oat milk! The breakfast burritos and pastries are always delicious as well. Beth will always take time to get to know her customers and genuinely cares about you leaving her shop happy!

This is the cutest coffee shop! Beth, is always so welcoming and has the biggest heart. She takes interest in her regular clients and wants to make sure first time customers get just the beverage they came for. They offer homemade pop tarts, other baked goods, and biscuits & gravy on the weekends.

I will describe this as a hole in the wall. Coffee is way better than Starbucks. Definitely give this place a try. Staff is super friendly and so peaceful there. We will return again and again for sure.

This is a nice cozy joint. We stopped in for some much needed caffeine. The lady at the counter was very attentive, helpful, and pleasant to chat with. It looks like they have daily and weekly specials here, so there are more options than the standard menu lets on. It wasn’t clear if there were nondairy options. I forgot to ask because I was set on their delicious spicy chai. The coffee here is delicious and strong. The chai has a nice spicy kick. The croissants are fresh, scrumptious, and like many other things here, are sourced locally. It makes a difference not only economically but also in quality you can taste. Unfortunately she was sold out of her breakfast burritos, but the chili was surprisingly tasty. I wish I would’ve gotten a second bowl!
