This is the first time my husband and I came to their new location. It has been a long time since I went to their other location and had such a bad experience. The server lady remembered us from our last visit at the other location, she was so great to us. Took our order right away and brought us our refreshments. We got our food quickly and it was delicious!! We also had the flan for dessert that was also delicious!

Everything is very good, super good and friendly services, they make you feel like you are one of them. I am Mexican and I had a great time.....

We are not from the area, we found this place through Google and since my husband is Puerto Rican, we wanted to try it!!! Since we entered, just like in Puerto Rico, the people are very friendly and helpful!!! They brought us drinks and snacks very quickly, everything was delicious, literally as if you were in PR. Super recommended!!! We threaten to return!!!

The food are testing old and chicken are nasty not clean appropriate.

Supposed to be puertorrican food but you can tell eitheir is Cuban or Dominican Republic cooker.

Food was okay, mofongo tasted more like a mangu with some fried plantains. The carne frita had no flavor to it. The yuca with mojo looked like it was thrown in sauce from carne guisada instead of mojo. Rice, beans and pechuga en salsa were good. It was weird ordering soda as a drink and being given a small bottle with a cup on the side, first place I have been to that does this without offering refills. The empanada the pollo was good. I feel like this place was overpriced maybe it wasn’t the experience I was expecting and food really wasn’t the best. The service was good but I didn’t like hearing the employees talk about other customers who had walked in. I personally think if they were going to talk about them at least do it where other customers can’t hear about it and that killed the experience for me.

It was my first time visiting this place but I didn't like it at all, the food was terrible, it took about an hour and 15 minutes to make it, the inexperienced waitress didn't know how to explain the dishes well, everything was slow. If a dish takes so long to prepare, Because they don't offer anything to the client, I honestly don't recommend it, much less come back disappointed. The food is very salty and spicy.

If you like a good drink ask for Jose, great service and also delicious food.

The food that I ordered was horrible greases and meat was refried twice. Meat was hard like a rock. Never again.

The place looks NOTHING like this... It's in a sketchy part of town surrounded by off-limit establishments for shady business. All the windows have broken blinds. This is NOT the place to go.

I loved the food and the waitress was awesome she tried her best to communicate! Being from NYC and Dominican I was very surprised at how much I actually loved their food. Introduce some bilingual people at the restaurant and you guys are the best!

I give one star because you can't do less. Super expensive and I don't know which is worse, the food or the karaoke... a woman spent a lot of time singing and no one took the microphone away from her, maybe because she was too drunk... Don't waste your money, it's really terrible !

If you’ve visited or live in North Carolina, you know cultural foods are far and few. This Puerto Rican cuisine in Fayetteville, NC is a superrrrr must have every time my family is in the area. The food is amazing dining in and taking out.

Being Born And raised in New York where we had true authentic PR food .. this place isn’t it at all 🫤 it’s not authentic unfortunately .. I was highly disappointed for a few reasons . 1) they messed my entire order up they gave me nothing I ordered lol .. 2) the food isn’t tasty at all they’re missing seasoning on their food ( meat wise ) it’s very bland … and 3) I had about 2 pieces of hair all in my rice on my plate… and lastly 4) when I called up to try and explain to them how they messed my order up and hair was in my food they hung up on me because they said they couldn’t understand what I was saying . I had to hand the phone over to my sister to try and have her explain my issues to them about my order. I had high hopes before eating here due to everyone saying it was good and etc .. but if I’m being honest I would go else where … NOW I will say this … beautiful place and the staff seems very nice . The atmosphere inside is very updated and seems very clean

Excellent service. Karen was really kind and helpful. I'm a mother of twins ( toddlers); and she made an amazing customer service. The food was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant to every one.

I was so excited when I found out about the Spanish restaurant. I'm from Brooklyn so I'm familiar with the food should taste like. Honestly, I was disappointed. My rice did not have a spanish accent, the beans for the rice tasted like carrots. No roast chicken like in NY, no stew chicken, my empanada did not authentic it was good but it did not have the crispy outside the ones I've had from back home. The host was nice the atmosphere was nice but the was not pleasing to my taste buds

Many have told me that From My Balcony has gone out of service and today I experienced it... I went to have lunch and after sitting down the “server” took an order on the phone, and his attention was with others who entered, others sitting and I got up with my wife and goodbye goodbye I'm not coming back…

Extremely friendly atmosphere and staff.. if you have had PR cuisine, you are sure to love this. If you have not, and have an open minded palate, your going to really enjoy the food. Btw, portions are not to be taken lightly,, you will leave satisfied and full, and as with myself and family, the other half or better of the food portions, taken home for yet another meal.!!

This place is authentic. They stick to their PR culture with taste. The food was so good and the portions are huge!! This was my second time here. I went with my son and his father's family. I'm from NY, so I've been eating PR food all my life. I was treated very well this day. Now... on my solo visit, the hostess treated me like why was I even there. When she finally acknowledged me, she asked me if my order was to go. I smiled and said no I'm dining in.Mind you, there were only two tables with guests. I've worked in food service for 27 years. When the restaurant is slow, this is when you make your most money. You give your best service. So, to make someone not feel welcome is wild. My server, on the other hand, was amazing. He went above and beyond, and his tip reflected my gratitude. I did notice that when I spoke Spanish to them, I was treated differently. Everyone doesn't speak Spanish and should be just as welcome. Create a place where everyone can see why your culture is beautiful.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please don't come to this place. They are going to buy you an arm and a leg and in addition they are going to charge you a gratitude fee, another for tip and an extra fee for food apart from taxes. The waiter José is a person very poorly trained to talk to customers. Please train your waiters. The food arrives an hour and a half after you order it and José's response every time you ask him how much longer to wait is "it's not my fault that the food is late" "I can't go to the kitchen and Tell them to hurry up” “I told you that the food was going to take a while” “I'm not going to argue with you.” I was a waiter for many years and those answers are not given to a customer. Never in my life have they brought the payment receipt to the table without first having received my food and in this restaurant it seems to be a habit. How do they pretend that I am going to pay for a dish that I ordered to eat there warm and they bring it to me on a plastic plate to take home and they are so shameless that they charge me 15 percent of gratitude on my receipt? But there is always a first time. Family, don't come here, you're going to have a bad time.

The WORST kitchen in that it took us over 2.5 hours to get food some of my friends couldn’t even eat. Order 3 hours before great food but HORRIBLE service

I can't believe the bad experience we were able to receive at this place. We arrived at the place at 4:30pm and left at 7:50pm. From the moment we arrived it was desperate on the part of the waiters to see so many people arrive, we were 8 people and the waiter from the beginning had a terrible attitude, telling us that he was not going to worry about where to seat so many people because he could not work miracles or with the space or with the tables. From there we started colliding. I have been a waitress for many years and I know how heavy and stressful that responsibility is but it DOES NOT JUSTIFY that the customer service is so horrible (at least try to hide your face and not say out loud everything you are thinking) that is a disrespect! We ordered appetizers, since it was mentioned to us that the food was going to take a while and we opted to order appetizers but the delay in getting your order was incredible, even the appetizer arrived just after we had received the food. The food literally took 1 hour and 45 minutes and the only thing the waiter told us was that he couldn't rush the cook and that he said from the beginning that the food was going to take a while, angry for simply asking how much LONGER it was going to take. our order. EVERYONE received their food after so much waiting and mine was packed in a box for me to take home. As if that were not enough, my receipt was delivered before the food and also included gratitude + the tip. We thought we were the only ones but everyone in the restaurant was experiencing the same problem. I swear every time I go to a restaurant I always try to see the positive in the waiters, if I notice that they have some kind of attitude, because I UNDERSTAND the stress of this job but we had to talk to the waiter personally to let him know that what we were experimenting was not fair to a customer who will pay for the service. He had the audacity to tell us that he wasn't going to argue with us when again, the food was not being given for FREE! It has been the WORST experience we have had and that is why I leave this review, so that when large families and especially those who go hungry, they know what they are going to experience. Just DON'T GO! I hope they can learn to run a business.

I’m not one to leave reviews. However, never had we ever received such bad service. Upon arrival the place became very crowded due to another customer calling ahead and making a reservation for 18 people but when they arrived, the person in charge told them the restaurant could not accommodate them as previously agreed and split the group up through out the restaurant. When the waiter finally came around to get our orders, he had a terrible attitude. As a group we ignored the attitude and placed our orders. He took my friends and my order towards the end and informed us that the plate we ordered would take approximately 45mins and recommended we ordered an appetizer, so we did. Fast forward 1hr later, the others at our table STARTED getting their food and I still hadn’t received the appetizer I was to share with my friend. 30mins later, everyone else had already received their food and the waiter started serving neighboring tables. We asked about the appetizer to which he answered there was nothing he could about it. By the time everyone was done eating, the appetizer finally arrived but not our food. We still asked nicely for our food and the waiter kept saying “it coming”. 2hrs after our order was taken, we still didn’t not have our food. We decided we were ready to leave (since everyone else in the group had finished eating), and no longer wanted the food we ordered. The waiter handed everyone their bill and offered to place our foods in to-go boxes. (I ordered my food to eat at the restaurant, not to-go). Now, I understand that the food is not the waiters fault, HOWEVER, good communication with the customers and good customer services IS. When we expressed our disappointment in a calm manner, he blamed US for ordering food that would take a while to cook, said there was nothing he could do and that he was not going to argue with us. Needless to say, I will never go back! #1- don’t agree to accommodate people you don’t have the space for and #2- please, please, please, train your staff to provide proper customer service.

Unfortunately the quality of the food, the Atmosphere, and service have been lacking in this restaurant. It was one of my favorites but I don't even Food tastes the same. The dry mofongo, the salty cuguitos, the food is no longer the same. I went for my birthday and the service was mediocre. Yesterday I returned to give it a try but I was convinced that yes, it is no longer the same restaurant with that finger-licking food. The drinks are still brutally good.

Did place got a huge upgrade and the good is always on point. Come and try their Red Snapper with shrimp...awesome.

New server ordered food we didn't ask for and it was over 100$ for two people. Thankfully the owner was there to confirm, but food was brought separately by almost 15 minutes. The fire hydrant they put their mofongo in is also very shallow, so it looks like way more than you get. Maybe I'm not a fan of bananas, but I won't ever go here again.

Uuufffffffff ‼️‼️‼️‼️ This place right here had everything I needed. They could do better with the arroz con gandules but that’s always up to the day of the week because every other time I came here the food is always bussin. This is a military town that’s why it’s rare to see anything that isn’t straight American food so when I found this place I fell in love. There is another Colombian place near by but their food is plain and small portions. Here I was served great sized plates, the service was phenomenal because the food came out right after the appetizers. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the mood for great food

Awesome mofongos! So good i ate the leftovers for dinner the day and came back with my whole family two days later. And I'll come back again. Service was very non-PR (IYKYK), I mean they brought the food out super fast.

There mofongo and the guanabana frappe was very good.

It was recommended to us as a place to visit but surely disappointed! Nothing Puerto Rican or Cuban about this place. Sorry to say, expensive, with very bland food . Service was terrible also. We asked for a " Café con leche" and they brought us instant coffee! The rice was yellow rice with some " Gandules"...No chicken available and half the menu is chicken, Wr asked for tostones and never received but we got the mayo) ketchup In my opinion, I would skip and spend money elsewhere.

Unfortunately not a good experience for us. The food is good but they include an additional price “tax price” for each item in addition to the sales tax at the end of the ticket plus 3.5% for credit card. Menu prices do not match final invoice. Totally disappointing.

I wish I could give them 5 stars because the food is always delicious. We drive from Raleigh because we don't have good puerto rican restaurants there, however... the service is the always an issue. I used to be a server and water is something that a customer shouldn't even have to ask for, should be something that servers bring as soon as you sit the customers. We always know we are gonna have to wait for the food because it's fresh and our type of food is not something we can make in 15min, so waiting for the food is not a big deal, but the service is just bad. Basic things like being friendly w the customer, making sure they have water, check that they don't need anything while eating... is like we have to be looking for someone to do basic things. We don't know how they do the tip, if they share w other servers, but today I decided to do cash and gave it to someone who was not even our server, but was the only one making sure we had everything and asked if we were ok (lady w red hair I believe). I noticed that other ppl were also looking for servers to ask for things so I know this was not just us. Food is 5 stars, but service maybe 1 star.

If I could give zero stars for this place I would. We sat down with a table of 9 people and waited patiently for over 10 minutes without any service. Another table seated 15 minutes after we sat down was served and we were ignored. I mentioned this to the hostess who sent a server over who immediately left when she determined that we did not speak spanish. The service was horrible............I will never be returning

I had a Mar y Tiera Mofongo and was delicious.

The food was wonderful!! The mofongo was exquisite, the alcapurrias and empanadillas were delicious!! The only thing is that we had to wait a long time for the food.

Invited by a boricua, got the mofongo with salsa criolla. Really delicious and very well served. The waitress was very attentive and helpful.

La comida estuvo muy buena- caliente y fresca. El servicio deja mucho por desear. La mesera no sabia de que era el majado de viandas, no sabia de que sabores eran los mojitos… era simpatica, y cordial pero hasta ahi. Cuando me trajeron la cuenta, parecia que el tax lo habian cobrado el doble pues en lo que habiamos pedido tenia un precio diferente que en el menu.

La comida estuvo rica pero parte de la comida que pedimos estaba fria, mis compañeros pidieron du plato y tuvieron que cambiarlo dos veces por que no tenían disponibles, tardamos aproximadamente dos horas para comer y no por que estuviera lleno el restaurant, mi hijo pidio un side de tostones al empezar y se lo entregaron ya que habiamos terminado de comer. Definitivamente me lo habian recomendado y quede decepcionada, tanto con el servicio hasta con los precios, aparte de que ni les cuento lo de la propina🤦‍♀️.

So… I just ate here and it was delicious! Stay away from the Alcapurrias, I don’t think it is their strongest dish…… however everything else was delicioso. The only reason why I’m giving it 5 stars is because the waitress was awesome!! Overall a great place to eat, enjoy drinks and listen to some tropical music. My favorite had to be the platanos rellenos. Wooowwwwww! Then again the arroz blanco and abichuelas side was do damm delicious. The pernil was excellent. So ya tu sabe! Go get some food.

The food is delicious, large portions and a simple clean-cut atmosphere. I recommend sticking with fruit juice or water and not ordering from the bar, not worth it.

Very good, very FRESH food. You will have to wait a bit for the food but that’s because it’s made fresh. Not expensive at all either. Highly highly recommend.

This place is absolutely delicious. However, there are dishes that have to be ordered ahead since they take up to 1.5 hrs of cooktime. Also, dishes are often times unavailable (this has been the case every time I have been here). The food is extremely delicious and very authentic. Service is a tad slow, especially on weekends. I would highly recommend reserving a table and ordering ahead of time. Side note: some dishes are quite expensive. Location itself is small.

The bartender Vanesa was amazing, I had one of their best drinks, a Corona Sunrise. If you want to have a great time with amazing people and wonderful service. Then this is the place for you.

Food is well seasoned and authentic as it is gonna get here in Fayetteville, NC. Definitely the place to go when you are passing through. Thank you for the military discount. (Veteran & Military friendly) I will definitely be coming here again when I back in town.

Amazing Cuban food, some of the best I’ve had in North Carolina! Still great the next day, too. We got maduros, tostones, beef empanadas, a cuban sandwich, and a steak sandwich with plantains as the bread— everything was delicious. Could benefit from some more AC in this summer heat, but it was definitely worth being a little warm. Great drinks, too, plus a beautiful interior with a laid-back but classy, clubby vibe. Awesome date spot!!

We ordered the Trifongo today, just 1 order to share with my husband because this is the first time we come to this restaurant and didn't know if it was good or not. This was the best trifongo with Carne frita with a side of tostones de Pana with AL ajillo sauce 😋. As my husband says "I'd give it a 10 star if I could, worth every penny and more!!" We definitely recommend this place is you want a taste of authentic Puerto Rican food. 1 order gives for 2 to 3 people, great portion size (we ordered to-go). Love it.

Ordered the El piononon it was very greasy and heavy had melted Velveeta cheese on the top expected some real queso. Couldn't eat hardly any of it. Took a while to get food too. Won't be back.

This is a small restaurant. They do dine in or to go. We stopped here for a late lunch and the server was friendly and kind, the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Horrible service, I made an order they said in 30 to 40 mins to come and pick it up and 1 hr and 30mins and still didn’t receive my food had me waiting more then 35 mins in the restaurant and still food was not ready

I did not have a great experience, and the excuse that no employees showed up to work and the Chef was mad. This did not make me feel better. I got there with my family we ordered and we had to wait an hour and a half before our food was served, after that, I have to say all was very salty and not so good as I would expect for the money they ask. The food trucks on Bragg Boulevard are luxury in compared to this place .

Plan to spend 30-60 minutes waiting for your food. Do not come here on lunch break cause I will leave upset. The food is alright. The empanadas were dry, the Pernil was lightly seasoned, but the yellow rice with gandules was good. Because of the long wait I figured it would be freshly cooked but it wasn't. It was about $15 a plate and I waited an hour. Overall, I don't think I will frequent this restaurant. I won't have the time or money to waste on dry food

Yo fuy un Sabado con mi Familia nos hicieron esperar 2horas por que solo habia un cocinero nos trajeron la comida fria y uno de mi familiar espero media Hora Mas por su Plato jamas vuelvo ademas que llegamos y el baño estaba tan apestoso que se rego en todo El restaurant. Mi sandwich de Biftec super seco utilizaron tomates de ensalada mofongo Frio lo único bueno fue las cervezas...
