Wow, I was blown away by the fantastic "Not Your Average Pepperoni Pizza"! This pepperoni pizza had just the right spice for an amazing flavor. Very nice atmosphere, good beer, and wine selection for a perfect afternoon in Lewes. My wife also thoroughly enjoyed the smoked Margherita pizza. If you like pizza in a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place come. Stop by Half Full when you are in Lewes for an outstanding pizza.

Interesting flatbreads and salads. Relatively high quality with a good wine and beer selection. Order at the counter and the food will be brought to your table. Seems better than a few tears ago but maybe I changed?

Great ambiance and even better pizza! Took us a second to figure out how to order (find a seat & then stand in line at the bar!), but once we got that sorted, the pizza arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go back the next time we're in the area!

Krista is phenomenal !!! We come to DE every year and this was out 2nd time coming to this establishment because we loved it last year. Krista remembered us. After a year. Phenomenal customer service and great atmosphere, she created this vibe for us as soon as we walked in and took care of us throughout our time there. We Will definitely be coming back.

Margarita pizza was underwhelming. The crust wasn’t good and soggy in spots, way too greasy, tasted like gross jarred garlic was used and way too much of it. The house salad was soggy and tasted like it was made hours ago. Not worth how much they charge.

Had an out of body experience here — the pizza, salad, and wine are unmatched. And they didn’t even charge me tax ;) Bonus was that I hit my mom up to pay and there was a free public bench outside to crash on. I opted for the full bottle of wine (because again, mom or daddie were paying)—- highly recommend going for the full bottle. And yeah… salad dressing? Could drink it by the bottle. FIVEEEEEEEEE STARSSSSSSS!!!!!! Happy 4th everyone!!

The crab and corn pizza was soooo delicious! The downside was that it was very crowded and there wasn't any good place to wait, so we felt like we were in the way while we waited.

First time in and wonderful experience. While seating is limited, we were grateful to sit together and enjoyed a great evening and amazing food. Pizza of many varieties, salad, brisket sandwich all outstanding. Definitely on our neighbors night out rotation!

We love the vibe here. Great music playing at just the right volume, cool seating, and a menu full of delicious options for pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and even desserts! We love the Dublin Pig pizza, and usually try whatever is the "features" pizza when we're there. We've also ordered a large stack of pizzas for takeout - took 15 pizzas on a family sunset cruise - it was perfect!

No table service. Order at the bar and they will bring it out to you.

LOVE the pizza here. I’ve been in and gotten takeout and it’s so good. The brisket blue cheese and the Brie are my favorite. The atmosphere is really cozy and fun. However. $10 for their chicken soup is highway robbery, and it was so salty. I am really upset I ordered this and paid $10 for it.

The manager, Tyler is so nice and friendly! He always has a great suggestion for dinner and makes us feel like family when we're there! The beef and blue is so delicious! Do yourself a favor and have your next dinner at Half Full!!

Great cozy place - love the pizza and all the unique combos!

Tonight was our third visit to Half Full. It was quite busy because of the Wednesday wine special. We couldn’t get a table right away and waited our turn to get one. Two employees, Tom and Krista, couldn’t have been more attentive, and proactive in trying to get us seated quickly. Once seated, they checked in with us several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Great employees. The food here is excellent, and the atmosphere cozy and comfortable. Half Full is one of our new favorite places in Lewes due to the food and service.

A really cozy place with such kind genuine people who clearly love what they're doing. There was a customizable pizza menu with a lot of variety and a great wine and beer selection. We had a great time and everything was delicious!

Slammed on a Friday summer night but wait not bad. Excellent service by the “hostess” and the staff. Pizza crust was amazing and cooked perfectly. Draft wine was great even though I wish the red were closer to cellar temperature.

My friend and I were warmly greeted and opted for artisan pizzas served on the screened porch. This was the best wood-fired pizza I have ever had ! If you are in Lewes, I recommend that you try it!

At our table, we had the Fig & Arugula and Beef & Blue pizzas. The Fig was excellent. The Blue was also very good, although it was very smokey - so best experienced in moderation. The beer tap selection was decent, three solid craft brews while we were there. There were also a couple of wines on tap, which was refreshing as I don't see that very often. The seating is a bit crowded, and the tables are tiny, so groups over 3 will be less comfortable. Ordering and payment are all done at the front counter but staffing is minimal and space is tight, so it's clearly designed around those limitations. Overall, it's not the best pizza I've had, and it's far from the best tap selection, but it's a solid choice for a night out with a couple friends.

Good food, good service. But extremely over priced! Small portions for the price of big ones. My plate costed $10.

Had an excellent experience here! I thought they're main offering was basically pizza but it is actually a wide range of flatbreads that were all delicious! A nice wine selection to go with your meal and a very cozy inside with attractive decor and ambiance. The staff were friendly and inviting. The outside seating is also pleasant as you are on a lovely Lewes side street with lots of people walking by. A new one to add to our "Gotta go again!" list.

We sat and had cocktails, watching all the people. Great time and a great place. I have had their pizzas before and their food is very good.

Our favorite spot in Lewes, two years running! The friendly counter service model keeps it casual, and the pizza is delicious. We've also enjoyed the variety of beers on tap.

Comfy casual delicious. Two soups, both excellent. Fun pizza combos. Nice beer and wine selection. A breath of fresh air among over priced average beach fare restaurants. Highly recommend.

Im 100% Italian so tough critic...The Pizza was good! Hand made rustic exactly like I make pizza... The wine was good. The Caesar salad needed help. More salt and acid so more anchovy or parm and more lemon or vinegar. I squeezed some lemon on and woke it up. I eat my salad with my food so it always annoying when my salad comes 20 minutes before my other food. I got the spicy meatball and it was good...Italians don't drown pizza with heavy sauce or cheese so my pizza was made perfect! This place should do an Irish Pizza which is white with sour cream base...sliced cooked potatoes, grilled onions, topped with cheese and cooked crunchy bacon then baked off and topped with chives. Their pizza technique would make a good Irish pizza

The pizza concepts are original but sometimes too original. The brie and berry was not what I was expecting. The description reads "berry drizzle" but the berry drizzle was more like a warm jelly sauce. And, unfortunately, the roasted garlic was all but absent. I think that I would try something less original if I were to make another visit.

Pizza is good and different, but it seems a bit on the expensive side for what you got. Almost need to order a pizza for each person. The Tough Guy salad was excellent.

Best pizza in all of Delaware! The crab and corn will change your life 😋.

THE BEST PIZZA EVER! The spicy meatball is phenomenal and by far, my favorite. They offer the most interesting options but I only ever get the meatball. When we have friends in town, they always suggest we order from Half Full. Each of them raves about the food! Although they are almost always at capacity & it can be difficult to get a seat, the wait is never too long for pick up.

Always a great spot for an artisan pizza and great wine. Love the newish location.

Love the pizza we've had here. The staff is quite friendly. We ordered pickup so we didn't dine on but it looked very nice.

I usually prefer a classic cheese pizza, but all of the inventive pies I have had here have been incredible (gouda chicken, goat cheese artichoke, berry brie... YUM). They also have great service, and I love the ease of ordering at the counter and grabbing a seat. AND they are the only place in Lewes with space heaters in their outdoor seating area, so you can eat on the patio year round. Love this place! Only wish they were open during the day.

My wife and I stopped in during our Staycation in DE! Seriously great location and the pizza and drinks were absolutely amazing! I did think the walking to counter was a little quirky, but it works smoothly. Stoop was extremely friendly. Can sit inside or a small outdoor section. Dessert was also great! Absolutely will be back!!!

We travel and live between Pa&DE for the last 10 years. Of all the places on this planet that serves pizza, hands down our favorite place. Incredible pizza, wine and atmosphere. Thanks HF for years of great memories and food!

I was told about Half Full by a random couple. that I met walking in Henlopen Acres, Lisa and Allen. So I came, with my recently rescued homemate Clifford (like rhe "big red dog." I ordered the Dubliner pizza and couldn't've been more palettely happy (I know a teacher would probably rail at me for grammar, and that's ok, my stomach is the better critic). Clifford was gifted with a couple of meatballs ŵhich he scarfed down in a heartbeat, and he also helped me with half the pissa.

Great artisan pizza and service that's second to none! Sat al fresco under the heaters in December with family. A fun night to remember!

Consistently excellent. They have unique, rectangular, individual pizzas - not your normal pizza place (though I love those as well). Great customer experience - we mostly get take out. We do miss the fig pizza though!

Just wanted a lite bite so as we were walking down the main shopping street in Lewes we came upon this place. A small wait was worth it. Rectangular pizza really was quite good and crispy as ordered. Loved the crust Very friendly wait staff. Just remember that as soon as you walk in, go to register to place your order as no one comes to table to get your order. really works out well. Will go back when in Lewes again.

Was attracted by the wonderful smells of the pizza emanating from this place. Was not disappointed ! Super tasty - great variety of thin crust pizzas made to order. Loved 🤤 the spicy meatball and Dublin Pig pizzas we chosed. A little cozy inside but an excellent place to hangout and share a slice and drinks with friends and family. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.

This is your go-to pizza option for town. So many options to choose from on the menu. It's a small restaurant and does get busy during the summer months, but the food and drinks are worth the wait.

Nice pizza place small, friendly with inside and outside seating. Wine, local beer on tap. We tried a little of everything, salad, soup and pizza and everything was excellent with quality ingredients. Interesting pizza topping selections like fig and prosciutto, or roasted chicken and smoked gouda. A little pricey for pizza, but to be expected in Lewes.

If there's a line you know it's a good place. We were seated within 5 minutes and enjoyed 4 pizzas, 3 salads, some wine, draft cocktail and beer. Will absolutely come back. Great atmosphere. Get in line, order your food and it comes out fast. Wonderful service staff. Looking forward to being even more full.

If you are doing a Cape Water tour, this is the place to order dinner. We ordered 16 pizzas to go, and our order was accurately prepared and ready on time. Plus, it is the most delicious artisan pizza anywhere!

Stopped here on a trip to Lewes and just wish he had this at home! The pizza was so good! They also had Brimming Horn cider on tap and it was wonderful.

Nice place. However, I asked for a "To go" for a "Salad". Was expecting a salad box. Instead had gotten a pizza box.

We ate at Half Full recently and really enjoyed the experience. We opted to eat inside at the communal table and met a wonderful couple who shared info on Lewes area. The Berry and Brie pizza was awesome-sweet and savory and the Pepperoni was delicious. The staff were friendly and amazing. You have to try this place while you’re in town.

Hands down our favorite restaurant in Lewes! The staff are absolutely amazing. They are welcoming, so nice, and always helpful. As for the food, don't sleep on the house salad, between the artichoke hearts, tomatoes and that dressing, it's an amazing way to start your dinner. And I can't say enough about the pizza, the crust is the right level of thin and delicious but not crunchy/crispy. The topping selections throughout the menu always have that perfect combination of complementary/balancing flavors. Our favorite of the ones we have tried is the Dublin Pig. We haven't had dessert but judging by the rest, I'm guessing those are delicious as well. And of course, no meal is complete without a nice beverage. The beer offerings always include excellent local brews and they of course have a nice variety of red and white wines by the glass or bottle. Bottom line, go to Half Full.

Walked by on a Sunday evening and they were open, sat at the outside table top area on a beautiful night. We shared the tough guy salad and it was very tasty, the 2 pizzas were the beef and blue, followed by the spinach, both excellent in tastes and crispy, the bottle of Californian Cabernet rounded of a nice casual evening.

I do recommend this place. The food was excellent, but the price is a bit high and the toppings are space. The "not your average pepperoni" pizza was unexpectedly spicy. There was no bleu cheese on my beef and bleu pizza. Other than that, excellent pizzas.

We had one of the best pizzas that I have had in a very long time. It was the clam and garlic pizza. The house salad was also delicious. Everyone working here was also friendly and very helpful. To top it off, the outside heaters gave us a warm and cozy spot to eat with our American Cocker Spaniel. Thank you for a great dinner experience!

This is our absolute favorite place to eat in Lewes. Never disappoints. Atmosphere is cozy and pleasing. The staff are wonderful. Good selection of beer/wine for a small place and I love that they even have a seasonal cocktail too. The pizza is always amazing too and the variety offered is perfect. Never change!

This is a fun, relaxing place with friendly service, unique pizza toppings and flavorful salads. They have a dog friendly patio on the corner of the building with outside heaters during the winter months. Don't forget to try one of their desserts before you leave!

This place has potential but the last time I went it was not busy and the pizza was still undercooked. Ceasars salad also somehow not great. Just a large bowl of lettuce and a cold thin breadstick

We have been coming here for years. It by far I’d the best pizza around. Love the small atmosphere, staff always friendly. Food always fabulous. Great salads and drinks also. Everyone must try.

Been there twice, ordering two takeout meals. Had the Caesar Salad and a Spinach Salad Pizza. Both were delicious and the service was pleasant and professional. Also ordered the Panna Spring Water which had "the smoothest taste" as were advertised! Definitely will be back! Highly recommend!

By FAR...the only decent pizza I've found outside of CT/NY/NJ. This is a cozy little place serving unique pizzas as well as standby favorites alongside wine and local craft beers.

First time to Lewes for a short vacation with my fiance. Walked in on a very busy Friday night for pizza, when suddenly my sweetie was overcome with nausea. Our order was going to take 30-45 mins according to the host. When I informed the host of what was happening she dropped what she was doing, came back with a bottle of cold water and offered anything she could do. She must have moved our order up cause we were served our pizza within 20 mins. Despite of our issues she didn't miss a beat with the Friday night rush. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Lewes. And, by the way, the pizza was outstanding!

I absolutely love coming here. If this is your first time visiting you should really have this on your list. Always check the special as those pizzas are always fun. If it’s nice out ask for the porch.

Half Full is a great cozy pizza shop with a fantastic area to eat outside. Paula and her staff are the absolute best. They are all very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The menu has something for everyone and of course they make excellent pizza too. They have a solid selection of draft beer, cans and bottles as well as a very good selection of wines with some on draft too. It's one of our 'go to' places for an easy, fun and delicious meal.

Pizza was amazing! The crust was perfectly crispy and doughy where it needed to be. The meatballs were juicy, and the cheese was ample and stretchy. The leftovers are already gone!!

We love Half Full! After doing takeout twice during the summer of 2020 (all in one week at the beach!), we decided on outdoor dining this summer. When we arrived, there was about a 30 minute wait for a table, but it was actually a bit shorter. They texted us when the table was ready. You order at the bar, so after getting settled and looking at the menu ,I headed inside to order. There were four of us. We got a regular cheese for the 13yo, a no cheese pizza with bacon for the dairy allergic 10yo, a brie and berry, a crab and corn, and an artichoke and goat cheese for the adults. Also got a few drinks and water. The food came out pretty quickly and was just as awesome as we remembered it. The adults managed to eat all three pizzas, and the kids loved theirs too! We cannot wait to go back the next time we are in Lewes.

I visited this place and I was surprised with the best pizza! It was very yummy. I ordered the spring pizza and for my kids that “not your average pepperoni”, it was good as well. Just for you to know, it’s spicy, but my kids were fine. I was greeted by a very nice lady who kindly instructed me to order and found a table for my two kids and myself. I’m giving 4 starts because there was a rude lady behind the desk with bleached hair who seemed stressed out, having a bad day. She game me the look and talked to me in a harsh tone when I kindly asked her for a box. I’ll might come back but be aware that not everyone is welcoming in there!

We went as a family to Half Full last night (8 total) and tried 7 different pizzas. 1 pizza per person or if not too hungry you can share one. We agreed the crust was really good. I was not impressed overall by the flavors, though. I’m wondering if I had been able to put salt on it if that would have made the flavors pop. The best one we had, in my opinion, was a make your own with bacon and pineapple. The saltiness of the bacon and sweetness of the pineapple really made it stand out. We tried the spicy meatball, which wasn’t spicy to me. We tried the special, crab, corn, and old bay. All of them seemed to be lacking something... I’m thinking it was probably just salt. It was very busy, but they were accommodating to everyone. It was a bit confusing in how it works. You get seated, look at the menu, go up to the counter and order food and drinks on a tab, sit down and wait for your order, pay at the counter at the end. It can get really crowded around the counter, but the hostess is helpful with that as well. Overall, I would go back, but with salt in hand. It was a good experience in a great town. Lots to check out around here. Oh and drinks are all in cans or bottles, though they offer water in mason jars, which I thought was nice. Friendly workers as well. To be fair, another couple remarked how great their food was before leaving...

Half Full is awesome. Great food, we had the (that's a) spicy meatball pizza and the tough guy salad. Both were prepared well and tasted great. Half Full also has a great beer selection, draft and cans /bottles. Highly recommend this place, as does my wife!
