Fries tasted like the grease needed changing. The sandwich had a small piece of hair in it. So I probably won't be going back over to Half Moon Grill.

The service staff and bartenders are great....Andrea has great command of the bar and even remembers what u drink, being that I had not visited in several weeks ( and she's easy on the eyes ).... keep up the great work guys

Their wings were quite amazing! And we really loved the calamari it was delicious,also they had a really good fried zucchini. And of course the beers were just the best.

It is a really good place, a pub with a bar is great! GREAT MUSIC Atmosphere and what not....foods) I would be cautioned with the flavor of the fried chicken however as it was bland and the breading as well. I belive a simple flour and Italian breading could do wonders but thats a guess instead of plain flour and deep fried. Marrinade the chicken plz for love of people everywhere marinade it first. Ik this sounds terrible but plz just realize that I'm a father and consider myself an average cook. Not a chef so plz don't be offended.

Excellent music in the background. Not too loud so conversation was easy. Lots of action on the TVs if you are into it. Food and service was great.

The turkey club sub was instead a turkey salad sub with everything chopped up. The lettuce wasn't good and it just wasn't as written on menu. Menu is limited.

I have been going to Half Moon for 20 years. Today I went in there and the place was hot and smelled like puke. No service personal. I waited and left without seeing anyone. It has become very cheesy over the years. Just another dive bar now. Never to return.

Another hidden gem. Not visible I was recommended for their wings and all I have to say is that they're a 10 out of 10 I like spicy so I got their nuclear on the side to try it and it's delicious. Trying the burgers next time I'm in. Cons: their touch tunes they play what they want get songs they don't play.

Had a great time watching the basketball game here. Loved the burger and wings that I got. The food came out quick and tasted great. Plenty of space at both the bar and table seating.

The staff is super friendly. And they will make it a point to remember your name. Think Cheers but without the perms. The no less wings are truly the best I’ve ever had. Perfect ratio of breading to meat. And their ranch… fuhgetaboutit. You can’t go wrong. Thanks Miraya and the rest of the staff for making sure everyone feels welcome.

Great place for lunch. Very upbeat with music and lots of tvs. Food was tasty and service was good and friendly. Parking is plentiful.

We had not been to this place in many years. Ended up here for a celebration of life. Food was good. Service was pretty ok. We would stop back in if in the neighborhood.

Today, they were a little behind; it took an hour to get a ceasar salad, and the volume of their speakers was way too loud. It was almost unpleasant.

Trivia Night on Tuesday is always a great time! Wednesday night Music Bingo is a blast too!

I came here a couple of months ago for the first time, and I appreciate the convenience of this bar/restaurant in my neighborhood. The ambiance outside is amazing, especially with the fire pit and the outdoor views. It has a cozy feel indoors too but I definitely prefer the outdoor seating. I enjoyed the watermelon margarita I had while I was here, and I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks they offer. I did not stick around to try any entrees, but plan to do so next time I stop by. If you’re a sports fan or want to enjoy the nightlife, this is a cool local spot. Will definitely come back in the future!

I had the grilled chicken with grilled vegetables which was excellent and my boyfriend had the Cajun pasta which was also excellent

#TacoTuesday -- to begin with, for dinner, I enjoyed 3 🌮 tacos and 2 🍫🍸 chocolate martini's while I studied 💻 with an area all to myself which was definitely a lovely experience. Secondly, the waitresses this week were very attentive to serve me which was also great. Furthermore, the Bartenders made my drinks perfect. Overall, my experience here was satisfyingly pleasant to my taste. Update: Came here on a Sat. evening to comfortably enjoy watching the UFC fight (best place to watch it at), and the service was exceptional per usual. I had the amazing 🍽️ Cajun Alfredo w/🧄🍞.

Loved to vibe nice atmosphere. They play music bingo on Wednesday nights. The theme was Valentine love songs, then break-up songs had a great time! 👍

Came here weekly for a long time. We were known regulars who tipped well but we would always have to ask to be served otherwise we would have to goto the bar to get everything. Food is way too expensive for the quality. Speciality burgers made wrong. Another burger served raw. Queso served so cold it was solidified. Servers told me that they couldn't keep cooking staff for more than a few weeks so quality was suffering. That was clear. We stopped going. There was no reason for it anymore. Way too much money for bad food and poor service

I placed a to go order tonight and didn’t enjoy the food. Mariah (if I remember correctly) was extremely nice about everything - she offered multiple ways to help (refund, gift card, etc.) I’m not one to call back but I’m glad I did because Mariah’s customer service made me want to try this place again. I got the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings, the onion rings were perfect - Philly cheesesteak not so much to my liking. I think next time I’ll try a burger

First time here The burgers are AWESOME Good service

They deleted my review. The waitress wasn't very good at waiting on my table, but she sure was attentive to the older gentlemen's table. Dropping things, bending to get them, rushing around with the quickness. I just wanted my breakfast and coffee. Waffle House never lets your coffee run dry.

I don't recommend this place. There's a dozen better sports bars within a couple miles. Bone in wings were undercooked, extremely small side portions, and we waited nearly 30 minutes after finishing our food to receive the check. Just a bad overall experience.

We stopped in for football. Food was quite good, service was fine however the fryer grease smell in the kitchen (quite far away from us) was rancid and nauseating. We cut our visit short because of that and are unlikely to return in the future even though everything else was ok. The rancid smell was just too overwhelming and ruined what was otherwise a pleasant experience.

Sadly the last 3 times the food has not been good. Dry and needed a remake. Cold the next time and server took 20 minutes to come back to us. This last time, the chicken used on the nachos was disgusting. Tasted like fish. Or canned. Not sure but it was gross. I doubt we will be back.

Just an FYI ... a large pitcher of Blue Moon is $ 29 .... Most bars charge half this... 2 pitchers was 61 dollars. Sorry , but this is ridiculous..... and if they reply this is standard price I know what my normal stop charges and I asked what the price was near my house .... Both approx. half that.....

4.2 rating, this has to be a prank! Went yesterday, service by indifferent, at best, tattooed elephants, vicious dogs on patio, random bums bothering patrons and begging, have been going there for years but, obviously not again. Food is wildly overpriced garbage, (it has always been) but the new staff and " woke" vibe is just disgusting

Went in tonight and sat down at the bar. Bartender walked away and made conversation elsewhere. Cool, probably busy, no worries. Nah, just continued to talk to his boys. I left. Won't bother again.

Boneless wings were .99 a piece on Thursday, but it seemed like I received a bunch of small Chunks of chicken. Not disappointed with the amount at all, but definitely not really wings. Spicy sauce was good and nuclear sauce was very hot but had a nice pepper flavor. Fries were good, seasoned well. Wish there was a few more of them! Long Island ice tea was delicious, but hand fought with a few fruit flies during my experience. Also, bar had an odor to it when you first sit down, but I have experienced worse. Overall a cool experience. Not great, but still not bad. Wish them the best of luck in the future.

Half Moon is a great place to watch games and eat good food. The atmosphere is always electric. It is the Official Georgia Bulldogs bar for the Phoenix area. Always a great time.

We make the trip from the west valley once a month during football season. Always a great experience. 👍

Great little local spot. Everything on the menu is good. Great chicken wings (from a real New Yorker). Game is always on and service is usually pretty good.

Love the food and atmosphere here but the service is subpar at best. Tonight, we had Paige as a server. We were seated and she came over promptly and took our drink and appetizer order. After our appetizer arrived, she dropped it off and just walked away even though we were ready to place our entree orders. She didn’t come check on us for 20 minutes. Finally, she came over and took our order. After we received our food, we paid our bill immediately because we did not want to wait forever to receive a check and cash out with her. After our food arrived, she never came and checked on us again. I’ve been a waitress and bartender for 10 years and try to give servers the benefit of the doubt when it comes to bad service but she walked by and made eye contact with our table numerous times and never came over to check on us. Only reason I gave three stars is because of the food. Today was the worst experience we have had with service but every visit we have had, the service has been poor.

Went here during NBA playoffs when there was only one playoff game on at the time, on prime time. It took me about 30 minutes to get a tv near me changed to the game because no one had any clue what game I was talking about.. at a sports bar. I guess they didn’t care because i wasn’t a Suns fan. First beer came served flat. All draft beers served with limes no matter what beer, kinda weird. The second beer I ordered was a blue moon, and what came out looked like a Bud Light with a lime. Clearly not a Blue Moon, and the server was extremely confused somehow. Food is average. Most tables have bad views of the small tvs. There are better bars in the area to go watch a game.

First time here for a boxing match. Shania covered our section of about 45 people and had the best attitude and memory. She has been the BEST waitress we have had!

Good food. Went outside the last time I was there. Nice weather, and the table attendant was on top of both sides. Plus, great weather that day! It was a great way to spend my time with friends after a long week. Thx attendant

We have been here several times, and the food is always good. We visited this past weekend however this time, the burger was raw and pork sandwich tough as leather. The garlic fries and orings were on point. We we advised or server she immediately called over the manger. Who both took action to remedy. Amazing service 👏 kitchen must have had an off day. We will be back.

Half Moon is awesome! I just wanted to start with that…but they have been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. They have an awesome menu selection with fresh ingredients. They also have a large selection of drinks and alcohol to choose from. It’s a great place to unwind from the day and just hangout with your friends and relax. One of the best spots around just for that! The patio out back is also a nice feature you should check out if you stop by. 4/5 stars!

Recently went there with some friends. They have more TVs than you would ever need. I was able to watch the UFC fight, no matter what direction I was facing (what everyone went for that night). Anytime you go, that being day/night/any day of the week... you are almost guaranteed some sort of Happy Hour deal, going on at that moment.

Didn't allow my service dog even after showing my documentation. Demanded to know what my illness was that I needed a service animal, then still didn't 'approve'

Excited to eat and relax by the fire. Disappointed 😩 California Burger, mozzarella sticks and salad wrap were bland. Waitress failed to bring the sauce for the wrap and once reminded she never returned until we were finished eating. Half of the food was left on the table. Side note; two customers brought there dogs out on the patio and the one barked several times at the other.

Cool bar, I've been coming here for years. Back patio is super cool and they have pretty good food also.

Went to half Moon last last Friday last Friday on Greenway road. Had to wait at the bar for an hour and a half for a table for one. Due to the covet. The hostess kept forgetting about me when I was sitting literally right to the side of her. When I finally got the table, no one would come and serve me. When I did get served everything was pure grease. I asked for more fish and once again they forgot to bring it to me. The waitress was very rude to me. I finally spoke to the manager and he said he would count me the dinner. But was also very rude. They also charged me for a cup of soup and an order of onion rings which I did not order. I have been to the half moon in both places in Phoenix. I have usually been satisfied with my meal. But this is a very horrible experience and if it continues like this I'm not sure I will go back.

I’m sure you know this already, but Aspen is an incredible waitress. She was very attentive, and even when she was busy with her 12 top, she made sure to make eye contact and check in from across the room to make sure I was doing well. Excellent service, and I will absolutely be requesting her in the future when I come back. I just wanted to make sure management knew what her customers do…Aspen is a huge positive for your establishment.

Excellent atmosphere, excellent food! Fish and chips were so good! The best coleslaw I have ever had! Highly recommend!

Excellent Service and Great Atmosphere

The place is nice. The food and specials are great. But the one bartender is a little short on communication. Not coming here that much, I asked about my points I get, and she replied rudely, you'll get them, I know who you are. I was asking because I didn't receive them a week earlier, with another bartender. I just didn't know how it worked. The other issue was in support of the bartenders and waitstaff. I leave a tip on my bill, but when I check my bank account, the whole amount I left was not taken out. When asked this same bartender, she acted like I was complaining. She said If I have an issue, I should call the office and keep my receipt. I feel she felt I was causing a problem. I don't have to tip.

If I could give zero, I would. We were brought to our table, picked up our menus, and a cockroach scurried across my menu. We put our menus down, and promptly left.

I needed a drink after a long week! I was going to go to my usual but drove by this place and it was somewhat full. It was bingo night on a Wednesday. The music was good and the staff was friendly. The only exception is that the bar did not have any Mint for my drink. What kind of bar doesn't have mint for a mojito? I will come back

This is a great bar, ice cold beer, excellent wings, the spicy ones are good and the nuclear version actually deserved the spice warning which made a nice change. The calamari was fire, the breading could have been crunchier, maybe, but the squid wasn't chewy, the texture was perfect so absolutely deserves a pass. Miss Sophie our server was great, she was attentive and friendly. Also I didn't realise it was such a huge college ball bar, I'm not much of a college ball fan but I loved the atmosphere. Fantastic bar, we will definitely be back again, I'll probably bring my parents when they visit next week from Ireland for their first time in the USA. 10/10 would not change anything.

Great food. Great games. Also showing PPV fights. We had wings, pasta, a wrap, and burgers. All had great flavor and service was on point.

My wife and I have made this our regular spot, and for us, it's perfect! The atmosphere here is consistent and hardly overbearing. Despite the constant stream of musical hits spanning a generation, it's never too loud or chaotic. The staff are all super cool and seemingly always at the top of their game. There's darts and a pool table in the back, 25 screens inside plus more out on the patio, a kitchen that stays open late, and of course the bar. As soon as you walk in you'll be met with the sight of the "half moon" shaped bar which wraps around itself in the middle of the establishment- or a hostess to lead you and your party to your table(s).(Reservations are available!) In the end, it's a chill place to drink, order some food, hang out with friends, watch some sports, and just have fun before going home in good spirits.

Wanted to eat on the patio but it’s a smoking patio so we sat inside. We ordered a couple drinks which tasted good. We also ordered the nachos and the guacamole was off so we ate around it the best we could. We decided to check out instead of ordering dinner. We informed the waitress about the guacamole. She said I’ll tell Kitchen and we didn’t get an apology. We won’t return.

I went and had dinner there the other night.. food was ok not great but ok.. but the beer was extremely expensive for a low end bar. 18 bucks a pitcher of bud. Inside was very dark and outdated to charge concerts prices for beer...

This place is an absolute bomb great food wonderful staff and a fish fry that's off the hook!! Just for 15 bucks not bad all you can ear!!!! So come on down fat people and get Sophie as your waitress she's off the hook

So I was just there. Excited to have the white queso dip. Well it was not white and it ended up being Velveeta melted. The lime like it states and the chips had no sea salt. Complete false advertising. Do not go here 😒
