Loved this small independent dive bar, atmosphere, service and food all on point! Good value too!

Great food. All cooked in-house. You have to try my favorites..steak melt, wings on Wednesday, the Angus burger. Price is so good.. the Owner Pam ensures happy all around.

The mushrooms and onion rings are hand battered and fried. We had a nice time chatting with our server. Very relaxed atmosphere, regulars were friendly, and the music was great. Highly recommend!!

This place is a rip off for food? Ate there about 2 Hours ago, we both ordered the shrimp basket, what we got was a small plate with 6 very small breaded shrimp and some French fries See my picture! The waitress said this is what we serve here. A disgrace, maybe a good dive bar, but they should not serve food.We ended up going down the road to Shoeless Joe's to eat a little more I hate to get ripped off

Fish and shrimp were excellent, very fresh and tasty, we went back a second time, the owner was friendly and nice.

I smelled the most wonderful Aromas of cooking and found out that it was coming from the half shell so I was going to go in and have lunch and at the same time I had been walking so I had to pee I went in and asked a girl at the bar may I please use the bathroom he looked me up and down as if I was some I don't even know and then just gave me some rude answer about the guy in front of you has the key who just went out the door I said thank you have a good day and I left I wouldn't recommend any part of this place to anybody because I couldn't even get by the bartender simply to use the bathroom so as far as customer service in just overall genuine pleasantness this place is lacking it avoid at all costs doesn't even matter that they offer free beer

The menu featured a bologna sandwich, the bartender didn't seem interested in serving us, and the lighting at the bar made me feel like I was in a cafeteria

They completely over promised. They kept telling us to google maps and give a great rating and tell every one it was a diamond in the rough. It was just rough. We got the scallops. Promised to be huge, delicious blackened with a large portion. The scoops were small, mushy, tasteless, boring. We were the only customers in the whole place. Prices were quite high for a neighborhood dive bar. Chowder was promised as a huge bowl. Not. Bud light posters everywhere. Did they miss what Bud Light did to their customers? I love finding great mom and pop eateries that punch above their weight. This place is the opposite. I don't know how they stay in business.

Half Shell Pam (on FB) owns this old school neighborhood tavern & Seafood Shack. She offers super friendly service, warm smiles & cold beer in a small place where everybody knows your name. (Even if you just walked in for the first time). I stopped in for beer & a bite after checking in to a motel across the street. I made my choice based upon the appetizing images found here on Google. Also the menu pricing seemed more than reasonable. I didn't know how reasonable until I sat down at the bar and was immediately smothered with friendly service and a suggestion to select the Friday Special dinner for $10.95 which involved a southern style country fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy. This dish was all I expected from good home cooking. The steak was fork tender, gravy flavorful, corn sweet, and taters smooth.... In fact, I had ordered the same meal the week before at a Ft Myers "Fancy" Southern restaurant and that dish had none of the attributes of this unassuming good ole home style goodness which cost $9 less). I am leaving town tomorrow, but if that weren't the case, I would be back to try everything on the menu! Especially the seafood platter I was fascinated with before the Friday Special caught my desire... yum Solid recommendation!

A great local pub where everyone knows each other and everyone talks to each other. Everyone who came or went stopped to talk to us. We were looking for a dog friendly place to have cocktails and beer. They don't serve liquor, but wine-based alcohol. They have food as well. We sat outside in the outdoor patio. We weren't allowed inside with the dog we were with. Lori was our server and she kicked us out. LOL She was very friendly and attentive. She told us the history of the place, which goes back almost 50 years! The current owner, Pam, owns the place for 27 years and worked there 10 years prior to that. She came up and talked to us for a while. Sierra was the next shift server and was very friendly. It's one of those places where "everyone knows your name" 🎵. We didn't eat, but the taco Tuesday specials were awesome. Lots of the menu is made in-house.

This is my office's go to lunch place. Pam the owner has a different special every day of the week. There is no such thing as a bad meal there.

Locals beer bar Decor was .. wierd like a hotel restroom with bamboo print wallpaper .. and racing decor.. strange . A cpl people sitting at bar ( beer wine only..darn) Talking about "fake" covid and masks No thanks. Overheard another say a "regular " was out with covid... so "fake "!? Anyway had a burger it was good. Wings were great, pretty much the only thing likeable in this place. Not a keeper, maybe order wings to go on occasion.

The people were very sweet and the service was good but it wasn't what I expected. It's listed on Google as being a lounge or dive bar, it is neither it's a little country Diner. It appears that many locals stop there for a beer and quick meal on their way home on Friday. I didn't try the food but it looked good.

Found this place over 30 years ago and love it still today! A local favorite! Hidden Gem! Service, cleanliness, price and consistent fresh food! They did it right! My favorite is the fried fish sandwich and an ice cold Beer.

My father recently passed away and one of the things I remember about him was this was his favorite restaurant I can remember back to the early 80s when we used to go there I’ve always like this place myself as well. Great memories.

Used to be a regular here years ago. Good to see it hasn't changed much. Sure wish I could find a half she'll in TN.

Great little place. Coming from out of town to take my parents for a medical appointment we happened upon this place for a quick lunch. We each had something different and everything was tasty and the portions were ample. It's a small, old-school bar & grill so it doesn't have much to offer in decor or ambiance. Pass this place by if you need that. Otherwise, it's clean with good, hot food, generous portions, fair prices and our waitress was excellent even though she was extremely busy.

Burger was still pink and not to my liking fries were undercooked but overall they're friendly and clean.

The appearance is clean. The food is good but I like my burger well done and my fries friend completely. The soda needs more carbonation but overall it's good. Miss Pam is Very friendly. Also need a sign that says Men's restroom outside lol my boys went to the women's.

Estoy tan triste que me tomó 10 años regresar cuando vivo a 15 minutos de aquí. Vivimos lejos de Alico, por lo que tendemos a permanecer en esa área, pero este será nuestro nuevo lugar de reunión. Verdaderamente un bar local con un personal increíble que incluye a Pam, la dueña a la que juro que estábamos separados en ambos por su increíble personalidad. La comida era increíble, incluyendo mi favorito hongos fritos. Champiñones reales no mierda Sysco. El camarón frito era fenomenal y las hamburguesas deliciosas. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa desde el principio y eso es lo que quieres cuando vas a algún lado. Esta chica de Kentucky volverá más seguido de lo que debería pero amo este lugar.
