When I was 7 months pregnant I had to stand in line for box of chocolates but friends and family they take without line, and if you complain they just simply don’t care, if you don’t like it you can leave, when you order cold cuts they take it from the fridge but cut you some old leftovers they have in the back pretending to give you fresh, disgusting and disrespectful

My mom makes homemade perogies everyear. I heard polish deli is close to homemade. Not in this case. ABSOLUTELY horrible. Saurkrat tasted like chicken broth. The potatoe was made with instant mash potatoes. What a disappointment. Will never be back

Lots to choose from in this little store. Very busy and almost standing room only. Babka was not really cheesy and had an odd taste in the breading. Not the typical recipe. Chrusciki was ok,not really an issue with that. Waiting to try the pierogis next

Went there today for the first time and won’t be coming back. Waited about 15 minutes for someone to finally come to the register only to find out that I have to wait in line together with all the people waiting to get deli meat ( I wasn’t getting any). Would be nice if there was a sign informing customers about such an unusual rule.

We order 8 dozen pirogies for Christmas Eve dinner. Meat, cheese and potato and they were all amazing and fresh. Would definitely go back to buy and try more.

During Holidays, the line in store is a problem. Some people cut it, some people are checked out without waiting in line, because thats how cashiers do it. Halinka catered a picnic lunch for our antique car club luncheon at Colonial Park. They did a superb job, arrived when they said they would, they were very accommodating and the food was terrific. We had Kiebasi with saurkraut, pierogi with onions and potato pancakes. Our 260+ plus guests loved all of it and had seconds and thirds. They set up trays with burners (to keep the food warm) and provided everything we needed. The food and service was outstanding. I very, very highly recommend Halinka. Don't forget the dessert, the apple cake was delicious.

This was my first time here. I live in the Hillsborough area however Sta’s in Rahway has been my go-to Polish deli since the late 1980’s. Note it is smaller than the other kielbasy and not a ring. This is known as the wedding style. - One ring of course ground kielbasy (Krajana) $6.60 / pound What I liked: - The cheddar and potato pierogies were outstanding. Firm yet tender, fresh, and hearty! Well worth the high price point. - The nut and poppy seed rolls did not have any heavy icing and were not too sweet. The nut roll (very good) was better than the poppyseed (average+). - Both the coarse and double smoked kielbasy were very good What I did not like: - Their prices are higher than Sta’s or any other similar place I have been to in NJ / PA. - The nut and poppy seed rolls were doughy because they were under cooked - They did not offer any Polish cookies - On my second visit, I called ahead to ask if the I could order stuffed cabbage and charge it. I was told they did not take phone orders and I needed to come in person. I asked if they had enough left and was told yes. So, I immediately drove there, waited in line and when served was told they did not have any stuffed cabbage because they did not make any, whaaaaaaaat! Talk about getting stiffed! - Customer interaction was not crisp due to the use of masks and a slight English language gap

I'm making a Polish dinner, and am not familiar with quite a few of the items needed. Thankfully, I received help from the woman behind the counter who assisted me in obtaining the needed recipe ingredients. We also bought their cabbage rolls which were delicious!

Excellent catering menu. We ordered food for 165 people for 100 years anniversary of our church (Emmanuel Baptist in Manville). Pani Halinka and Pawel were very helpful in choosing menu and planning the dinner. Every time I called with the questions they were willing to answer in details. We chose to deliver casseroles by ourselves, The food was ready on time, nice and hot, ready for pick up.
