Enjoyed the chicken! Friend got the pork tenderloin... it was excellent too. Good sides too!

So good. You can see the meat cooking it all looks amazing. I had tenderloin it was perfect. The potato salad was really good I’ve never had this style (it’s like halfway to mashed potatoes) and I thought the beans would just be canned or something when I saw them but when I tasted them it was a flavor explosion, they were easily no contest the best baked beans I’ve ever had in my life.

Second Best BBQ in town! Highly recommend stopping in here for BBQ chicken, ribs, shoulders just make sure you come early in morning not late in the day if you want fresh off the fire food. ****Credit Cards not excepted cash only!!****

We were looking forward to trying their BBQ. The chicken was very tender and juicy. But the other options were not very good. The pulled pork already had the sauce mixed in and was bland. The beans and coleslaw was average.

We have a vacation home just outside of Burkesville and go to Hamiltons every time we are down and they are open (only Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Norman the owner is great as well as his daughter. The building is kinda shabby but, do not judge a book by it's cover. The food is fantastic!!! $8 for a very generous portion. Love the pork tenderloin and the sides are tasty too. Love it, love it, love it!

Been here forever. Best BBQ. Don’t dress up. Great food to go for us. Took it to the lake. We liked the pulled pork and loin. The slaw is crisp and vinaigrette style. Give you good helping. Didn’t care for the beans.

It was my first visit to this small and quaint establishment. I had the Sliced Shoulder plate with Slaw and Beans. The Shoulder was excellent and a fairly good portion. The Dipping sauce it was in was a little heavy on the vinegar and needed more spice for my particular taste. The Slaw (vinegar base) was very good and the beans were a decent canned bean. Overall, not the best I have ever had BUT I will certainly return if in the area.

Definitely cannot say enough good things about Hamilton's style of BBQ. I especially like the shoulder (dipped to get it some heat). My son loves their beans. All of their sides are good. It may be the only place where I equally like the potato salad and both kinds of slaw! I have spent several years in Owensboro (so called "BBQ -Capital of the World) and the Hamiltons can whip any of those places up there!!!! Do not miss this place.

After many visits to Burkesville finally gave this place a look. The outside leaves a lot left to be desired. While the interior wasn't much better, the BBQ was excellent and meeting Mr. Norman Hamilton was a highlight of the trip. Hands down one of the nicest guys on the planet. He built his Fire Pit by hand, and is extremely proud of it. While my coleslaw and potato salad was ok, the generous portions of Pulled Pork BBQ with his homemade Sauce was excellent.. Despite the lack of interior, he does have several antiques inside, (but will not sale them, I already tried). Meeting Mr. Norman Hamilton is definitely a highlight of the trip, as he is one of the most pleasant men to talk too. He cooks everything himself, over his homemade fire pit.. Will definitely be returning next year.

If you love authentic bbq, then this is the place you need to visit. It has been here for many years and is only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They have everything from shoulder, to tenderloin and the good old fashion vinegar slaw is delicious. But like the sign says they are usually open by 9.

Hamilton's Bar-B-Q has the unique flavor of South Central Kentucky. It is different from Owensboro and Memphis but quite popular amongst the locals. it is not open every day, typically open from the middle of the week through Saturday.

Watch the ladies slow cook,your barbque right on the pit. Don't expect fancy here. It is just good barbque served in a styrofoam container with so-so sides. While we were there, several folks came in amd ordered take out. Might suggest we do the same...

We dropped by Hamilton's BBQ while in Burkesville and were quite pleased. There are so many upscale restaurants that strive for the authentic back home look that Hamilton's comes by naturally. The propietors gave us a bit of side eye when we first came in...
