It was a nice trip to Homer and was helpful for a map of the town and thing to do.

Its changed ownership since last year. BUT, they did consolidate their menu, big time. And what they do is high quality. I had the Detour Burger and my wife had the Detour Hotdog. I don't eat hotdogs because most are processed garbage, but they used a hebrew national hotdog, which I really appreciate. The sauces and peppers they used to stuff it were fantastic. The detuor burger was good quality meat and the kimchi they put under the patty was just the perfect delicate flavor to compliment the burger. The french fries they make use a high quality sea salt too. Definitely worth the price for the quality and portion that you get. I wish I had gotten to try it how it was before, but I really like what they've done under new management.

Disappointed as there was no Chinese food which is on the menu. Food was fair.

The cod was great, the nachos were like super glue. The service was very friendly, but the prices were too high. Find a better option if you can.

We like their food and service. I am surprised it isnt a busier place. I have had the orange chicken , szechuan beef, and broccoli beef were all excellent. The ramp may discourage people but no worse than the ramp to the boat harbor. I am not a sushi eater but the other food is far better than average!

Don’t let the appearance of the outside of the building scare you away. Newly remodeled inside. Clean, nice environment! Food and service was awesome! All 4 people enjoyed their meal. Would have given 5 stars but it is a bit pricey.

The name has changed to Shogun's, but the food is just as good! I have always had delicious food...from the Chinese options to halibut fish & chips! Our family really enjoys this place! And of course, views are amazing and plenty of people watching!

This is now called Shogun's, a much better name, but same menu. Food is ok. Not spectacular. I'm a fan of Asian food and it just lacks the freshness and spirit I seek. But I'm picky. Not on my repeat list with all the other interesting Homer restaurants. Again, I'm a foodie who operated my own restaurant. Locals like the serving sizes, and this place is popular. Eggrolls taste fresh out of the industry freezer bag. Soups seem like they come from #10 cans. Staff and service are good. Always fun to eat anywhere on the Homer Spit too.

The menu had a lot of options and varied from different types of cuisines. We got two sushi rolls and miso soup. What we got was good, but we ended up going somewhere else just because we felt it was a little overpriced.

Great food for it's price. Has many cuisines to choose from and friendly staff. I eat here literally every week.

Totally unexpected and DELICIOUS. I had the hot and spicy seafood ramen and 2 rolls: mesa roll and baked lobster roll. Everything is HUGE portion and worth the price. Seafood you can definitely tell is fresh and tasty!

In full disclosure I was a touch set against this place initially. They serve Korean, American, and Chinese food. It is Chinese American food definitely. Not authentic Chinese food. Still the food is beyond excellent. Cooked by a darling Korean family and served by a lovely and kind Inupiat server. Once served I couldn't eat my food fast enough. I want to try their Korean fare next time, logically it would be their strong suit. Without a doubt I will be back to them again.

Frischer Fisch und deftige Burger. Lokal: Wirkt etwas ungepflegt und schmuddelig. Bedienung: Sehr freundlich mit einem "happy face" Essen: Die Karte hat sehr viele Fischgerichte. Daneben findet man auch einige Burgers. Die scharfe Nudelsuppe hält, was sie verspricht und ist sehr empfehlenswert. Auch die Sushi und Sashimi Platte lässt sich sehen: vielfältige Fischauswahl und frisch. Eine gute Adresse in Homer.

It is a year round institilution pn the spit. Dont expect muxh and you wont be disappointed much. They are always open!!

This is, without doubt, the best restaurant in Homer. Actually, the best on the Kenai Peninsula. Prices are fair, menu is extensive, and the owner is gracious. Highly recommended.

Visited here last year with my family while visiting Homer. Excellent Chinese food, wish we had this place back in Phoenix!!

Pretty good overall. My dish had lots of onions used as filler but tastes good.

While they have seafood, this is a place to take a break from all that. Philadelphia sandwich on sour dough bread and Chinese food were both good. Still can't get lunch for two for less than $40 anywhere on the Spit. It's expensive everywhere.

Decent food but expensive. They actually charged me extra to get BBQ sauce on my burger. I've never been to a restaurant (from fast food to fine dining) that actually charged extra for condiments. View was nice though.

Amazing view! Big windows! While I was sitting here some customers saw whales spouting in the bay! I think this is the Only second-story, 3-sided view on the Spit. The egg rolls were superb, and the prices are unbeatable. Friendly staff. Good cell reception, too. Had a fantastic blueberry milkshake and juicy teriyaki pineapple burger with fries last time. Also have been very satisfied with the Mongolian Beef and the Sweet&Sour Chicken.
