We showed just as they were closing and the baker brought the hand held pastries and savories out for us. We got one of everything and were amazing by how good they were. The best vegan cheesy baked goods I've had.

We always load up on pastries when we are in town. Affordable & delicious! It seems like it’s a jog out of the way but it’s 100% worth it if you are plant based. Having a dairy allergy, I usually don’t get to have a con leche… Here I’m safe 💖 I have tell you how heavenly the guava & cheese is and that the seasoning on the fries is 🔥

Tucked away off i75 this little gem is a must for the plant based community. Nat & Steph are amazing. The food is even better!! The fries are seasoned with herbs to perfections. Can't say enough great things! Can't wait to try the entire menu. Amazing... "bravo" 👏👏

The pasteries here are delicious! I ordered 5! spinach end cheese(2), meat pastilito(1), guava and cheese(2). Oh and I got the blackberry juice! Everything was delicious and the staff was so friendly!

I just moved here to the area and was looking for a place like the ones back home. My daughter knowing how much I miss my vegan restaurants, found this place for me. What can I say, I literally cried when I got in my car. It is imperfect!! Starting with the service, the young lady truly understood what I was looking for. I am not vegetarian, I am vegan and it is not the same 🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried the empanada, a guava pastry and a breakfast empanada!! The good was delicious and the prices are phenomenal! Thank you Happy Vegan, you have gain a customer for life! 😊🌱

Wonderful, I loved the food and the fact of finding a vegan place made me very happy, because there are not many options out there, but I think there are more and more of us, thank you, keep growing.

You’d never be able to guess it was Vegan! I’m a vegan who took my best friend who is very much NOT vegan haha and she LOVED IT!! Everything is so delicious…The chicken empanadas are next level good! The service was impeccable too. I was kind of mad we didn’t get more to go so now that I’m finally back in Miami I’m going back asap!

Super friendly staff! The food was absolutely delicious. I love finding vegan gems scattered across the state. This is definitely a must try!!! I had the English muffin with vegan Sausage and Just Egg and Cheeze. (They use Morning Star brand sausage patties) I also tried their hashbrowns. I LOVE IT!!!! (Update: we tried the french toast, it's so yummy!) (Update: the vegan crispy chicken sandwich/fried are AMAZING) (update: we tried the pancakes. They're honestly not our favorite. A bit too dry. I was expecting fluffy and moist texture. But they tasted great overall!)

One of Miami’s vegan gems! My family and I LOVE this place. As someone who used to eat croqueta preparada sandwiches and queso pastelitos before being vegan, I thought I would never have anything that comes close, but this place fills that gap and beyond. I’ve brought my non vegan friends and they were blown away ❤️ PS: Their little market next door to the order window sells frozen, take home tequeños!

Been looking for a vegan bakery for months and stumbled across this cafe and it did not disappoint at all I love this place and will be coming back 10 out of 10 the breakfast empanada was the best everything was fresh and hot and the vegan grocery store next door was clean and prices was reasonable

Ordered from the window for Vegan guests... everything was great! Off the charts great taste, even non vegans tried and liked empanadas and pastries...

Went on a Friday afternoon. The kitchen was closed when we arrived, so we were only able to order pastries. We got the meat, guava, guava n cheeze, pizza pastelitos & mini apple pie. Of course you can tell/ taste that is not meat, but everything was delicious. My favorite was the apple pie.

I loved this place the first time I went. Indeed, the pastries taste authentic and the prices—for once—are competitive with the meat and dairy versions. But I’ve been back a few times since, and, as of today, I’m done with it. It says on their website that you can call ahead to place your order, but they never pick up the phone. So you get there and there’s usually a line of about five customers. When you get to the window, they never have what you want. I asked whether I could place my order and wait for it to come out, and was told they “can’t” do that. So I went to the back of the line again. The new batch of pastries came out. By the time I got to the window, they were gone. I wound up just getting whatever they had on hand, but this is no way to do business. I spent 45 minutes in line—in the sun—and wound up not getting what I had gone there to buy. Clearly their demand exceeds their supply. Why not just make more? Why bother having a menu if you can’t deliver what’s on it? Great food, terrible business.

This is one of the best vegan bakeries in the country. What a gem this place is! Everything here is 10/10. I was so happy to discover unique, cultural baked goods. Nice to have something other than a doughnut for once, on the occasion that I find a vegan bakery! Thank you for the pastelitos! I am OBSESSED with guava and cheeeeeeee$$$$$$eeeeee everything. I even had my first iced coffee in about 15 years here just because it was THAT GOOD. Wow that coffee though !!!

I love coming to Happy Vegan Bakers!! The food is always so fresh and the pastelitos taste exactly like the original Cuban ones. The blackberry juice is very refreshing and not too sweet. Stephanie is very friendly too! Highly recommend this vegan spot 😍😍😍

The food is amazing! Better than a lot of regular cuban bakeries in Miami, which is to say a lot. And I'm not even vegan. My parents are very skeptical of vegan food and even they love it. Been here several times and the staff is always smiley and nice.

Ran into this little gem while driving around Hialeah and I’m so glad we stopped! I’ve missed Colombian empanadas so much since going vegan and the ones here were perfect!
