OH MY GOSH.. this place is sooooo good. I love meat and joke abt being a carnivore, but happy veggie makes eating vegan easy. Their pan fried noodle and fried tofu appetizer are my go to order. I probably order from here every other week, and have been for years. It is my go to place to bring friends when visiting from out of town. Tell all ur friends to eat here and keep coming. Dont ever want to see this place go out of business!!

Ordered the spring rolls because of the vegan shrimp. It is listed on their paper menu and other digital platforms that it includes the shrimp. When I received the order it was missing the shrimp. I made a private comment to my partner that they forgot the shrimp and the waitress overheard my comment (it’s a really small dining area), she came over to our table and told us they changed the recipe and that the menu is old. I would have preferred an apology or maybe something else to replace the rolls. I really only ordered to try the vegan shrimp, and now I have to pay for an item I’m not interested in eating.

This is a hidden gem! The food is amazing and the owners are so sweet. My go to plate is the eggplant tofu or the pad. We come here once a week and we love it!

Simply the best pho and the best vegan restaurant in the entire South Bay. We’ve been here maybe 20 times already. Consistently delicious, healthy and nutritious.

This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!

Fully vegan food with a good variety of options however I found the food to be a bit bland. Soy meats are pretty chewy. Generous portions! Just doesn’t leave much of an impression.

Not welcoming at all, I asked about the ingredients in the smoothie and the lady wasn’t able to tell me what else was in the smoothie besides “fruit” all I ordered was 2 smoothies and 2 Thai teas and we were pretty disappointed. Maybe the food is better.

This place is wonderful, all the menu is plant based, and super tasty. The Thai iced tea, pad Thai, and tofu eggplant are the best dishes.

I really want to like this restaurant because they are a fully vegetarian restaurant. However, the dishes I ordered were just very average. I ordered the dumplings and lemongrass chicken. The dumplings were just ok. They were served in a pool of sauce + broth. Kinda bland. The lemongrass chicken is average too. They're very generous with the celery to the point that it was a bit much. Maybe their other dishes are better? The ones I had were just not very impressive.

A vegetarian and vegan delight. Wonderful choices and great tasting food. Service is always excellent. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend it.

I love this place! Everything about it is amazing, and most importantly - it is accessible, well priced and the food is made with care and love. Ann and Thy were so kind and lovely. My kids enjoy the food and indulgence. I also love that you can see what they are doing! You know you are eating good food when they make it in front of you. Clean, tasty and fast. Can’t wait to come back.

Delicious food, especially the chicken curry, lemon grass chicken and the heavenly salad. Anything with tofu and chicken was great. And the person taking my order was extremely pleasant

Our favorite restaurant. Ever since we had their Pho soup, we can’t stop eating it. We literally eat here 4-5 days a week. The food is always great and consistent! Reasonable prices, clean and nice place, friendly service.

Hadn’t been in here for years. The old owner was amazing. She connected with her customers, it was clean and staff was so awesome. I was so grossed out by the bathroom the last I went in. I think I was dumb from staying and eating the food. Who knows how filthy the staff and cooking areas area. Once I find the pictures I took I’ll update this review with them. I honestly couldn’t finish my meal. I don’t know if it was bad or I “just” mentally couldn’t enjoy. The remodel looks better. Staff is okay. They all seem like they hate being there though. Prices were a little pricey but everything these days is going up. Even more reasons for me to be picky on where I go and who/what I spend my hard working money on. I will never go here again. I’m really bummed.

Solid 4.5 stars. Very nice service and yummy vegan food. Had their Vietnamese vegan beef vermicelli. Good Asian selection with veggie fried rice, Pad Thai, and spring rolls.

Curry chicken and egg rolls are amazing

I'm having to go back to vegan and vegetarian food so I can live a better life. This is one of those places that I found by accident I happen to be in the area and I googled vegetarian restaurant. The food is phenomenal and unbelievable and so tasty even meat eaters would love this. The far is delicious I tried the pad thai for the first time and the curry coconut soup. If you're in the area it's worth the drive down to Redondo Beach the lots of things to do as well great Beach.

It's 91 degree out there, feel like a cool 70 in here :) The wonderful piano solo further calm your spirit :) Pho noodle soup is so flavorable, out of this world :) Today, I tried the Wonton Soup, its delicious sweet :) The owner has so many wonderful secret sauce!!!

Vegan Thai. Best we have ever had. Crispy jicama tofu roll, veggie tofu soup and eggplant tofu plate. All delicious and fresh and seasoned to perfection. Cannot beat the price either. If you live anywhere near and love vegan places, beat a quick path to The Happy Veggie and spread the love.

Mannnnn, I’ve had vegan Asian food from coast to coast and this place is *chef kisses fingers* delicious. Get the wrap! It’s like a big ole fried Vietnamese chimichanga. Mongolian “beef” was great too. Everything was fresh. Yum.

Amazing place! 😍 I had my fill of Pad Thai (with tofu and faux-chicken!!!), With a great healthy side. OMG.. and my husband got the recommendation for Pho and it did NOT disappoint. So many spices and flavors that brought out the natural yummy flavors of the veggies. Towards the bottom he got more spices. Very spicy Pho if you add the fresh jalapeno. Yummy water as well with lemon (I hope!) Delicious Jasmine hot tea. Thanks.

It was alright for a vegetarian place

I love this place and I come all the time. Unfortunately the last time I went, a child was working the restaurant and the service was terrible. My mom and I arrived and our orders were taken after a couple that came after us. Then another couples order was taken after ours and we were 3rd to get our food. My moms main dish never came out. And the child kept delivering food to the wrong tables. It was a mess. Excellent food but if I see that kid there again, I’ll walk right out that door.

Really good Vietnamese vegan food. My favourite dishes are Wonton soup, Pho, Vietnamese crepes (banh xeo), clay pot fish (ca kho to), etc. I'm blessed to find Vietnamese vegan food right in South Bay. Ask for brown rice instead of white rice (with extra cost). Thank you Happy Veggie for the good food.

Local restaurant literally two blocks from home and best of all their food is delicious! Quick service, fantastic food it's the perfect neighborhood secret.

The Pha is really good! So are the casaval rolls. Some other dishes are blend, but the menu is big. The "coconut" cake is very disappointing. Usually there's one waiter only and he is very friendly and very effective!! I always come back!

I used to love this place. Unfortunately the quality has gone down. The last time I went there was hair in my food and my friends food.

I’m pretty surprised at how good this vegan pho was here. I was craving the rare steak pho but damn this vegan one didn’t disappoint! They definitely did a great job not losing the quality of taste. The starter soup coats your stomach well and it tastes great! Not bland at all! If your looking for a vegan food place with all the right flavors don’t pass this place up!

Great place for vegans and people with allergies. I would recommend getting their pho or getting the lemongrass chicken. The Mongolian beef is also fantastic. And their veggie chicken wings are crispy and fun.

Best vegetable broth for Pho I’ve had since moving to LA, and I’ve been looking all over.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We all got the pho and it was the best we'd ever had! The price was good as well. I wish I lived in LA so I could go back.

I had a noodle soup and my wife had a rice dish, the name of which I can’t remember. Both dishes were delicious, a decent size and the prices are very reasonable. The interior looks more like a street food spot, it’s not exactly sparkling clean. One of our tea cups had lipstick marks on it but was swiftly replaced when we pointed it out. So a 3 for cleanliness and a 5 for the food, for a 4 in total. If I could half points, it might be a 4.5 because the food was really good.

Please note: Even if chicken or beef or shrimp is written on the menu, they are plant based proteins reshaped to look like chicken/beef/shrimps. There is no actual meat/fish on the menu. Love this restaurant. Portions are good. Food is excellent and the staff is nice.

I’m local and love this place, but the last time was disappointed cause they refused to give me some garlic for my side of steamed broccoli I ordered. I explained that I was sick and can’t eat anything else, except steamed veggies, no salt, no spice, no oil, no nothing but broccoli and garlic. The waiter offered me some different dish where the broccoli comes with garlic, and obviously a bunch of other stuff, that I can’t eat at the moment, which I made clear. Apparently it was too hard to give me some garlic for that tiny side of broccoli.

My favorite restaurant ever. Always amazing and affordable food with a chill, low key vibe. Even though I no longer live nearby, I make the drive to Redondo just for this restaurant. Favorite dishes are the Spring rolls, Chicken Drumsticks, Pho and Happy Veggie Wrap!

Good vegan spot. Had the Yellow curry with veggies and rice and egg rolls.. really good. Not sure what the other dish was.. it was some type of fried noodles. It was pretty good only because I'm not a fan of soft tofu in stir fry. The fried noodle part and veggies was very good. Nice staff, clean and lots of parking when we went. Definitely trying the pad Thai next time!

This is the first veggie restaurant I've ever tried it it didn't disappoint!! I love Asian food and all the flavors they had were spot on. Will definitely come back again and again. The place is a little small and it could be busy at times but it's so worth it.

Being a vegetarian, you can eat here without having any doubt as to the ingredients. It's all Soy tofu and vegetables. Food tastes good too.

Not sure why,but i wasnt happy with my fried chicken noodles.The noodles were super fried and these was like none,so i kinda got confused why they call it noodle..also i expected chicken..and it was weird looking chicken pieces,that i usually see in the 40cents cup soups :( Veggies were good though..i guess thats why they call it veggie..but 15$ was not worth it at all:(

The food is good, I would say very good if you mention "no tofu" on some dishes, which otherwise are loaded with tofu. Since the waiter is different everytime I go, I cannot say if they are friendly or not, I have mix experiences.

We travel 10 miles to have their pho . Its delicious!!

Came here in the middle of the day and ordered clay pot soy chicken, flan, and green tea ice cream. Everything was really yummy and I’m happy I can support an authentic local restaurant!

This is the first place I've found to have vegan flan. It was a great consistency and tasted much like what I remember "real" flan to taste. The pan fried noodles were similar to Chinese lo mein that I miss but can never recreate; it was better than that. I ordered online and when I got there within an hour, maybe less, of closing and they had two parties finishing up so it seems they're pretty popular.

Fabulous, lots of variety and tons of flavor. Very large portion sizes. We had the pan seared noodles, schezwan soy chicken, curry and Mongolian. All were amazing

There was a rogue shrimp in my friend's vegan dish. When we asked we were told it wasnt shrimp. It definitely was.
