Great good, and a top local spot.

I’m sorry to report that I must have not eaten at the same restaurant as the other reviews. We ordered a tri tip sandwich with Mac and cheese and it was nasty. Meat was fatty and dry. Mac was cold and old. We also had a Breakfast Burrito and it was so bad. Potatoes were old and hard. Bacon was an old hard strip just shoved in the top. It was cold and almost unbearable. Not sure what the fuss is all about here. There was hardly anyone here on a Sunday afternoon at 1.

Nestled about 10 minutes from Santa Fe's main strip and seemingly in the middle of nowhere, this gem is perfect for a hearty meal, but one has to get there early as the locals know the joint and frequent it so it gets crowded early. Decorated in southwestern motif, there's a counter, a bar, one room in the back, and a sunroom. Service is a bit on the peculiar side, but it's part of the appeal. Portions are big enough, and prices are closer to pre-inflation numbers.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and it’s not the same new ownership. My sons pizza came burnt asked them to remake the girl making pizzas laughed in my face then sent out a half cooked pizza with raw dough to replace. This is for my 3 year old son I told server he takes back to the chef and they both probe with there bare fingers and tell me there going to cook more after the cook looks at me and laughs in my face again and continues to insult me. Asked to speak with manager and she did absolutely nothing. I paid $22 dollars for a hamburger to get Soggy fries and literally rancid ketchup asked for another bottle same thing. Not the restaurant I grew up coming to as kid save you’re money and you’re stomach and go some where else!

Every meal is a banger. From breakfast to dessert and everything in between, Harry's doesn't miss.

This was hands down our favorite meal in Santa Fe. The Yucatan chicken wrapped in a banana leaf was otherworldly!!! Don't miss the gf brownie sundae with bourbon pecan sauce. Really fantastic experience!

The food is delicious, and our waitress was very nice!

My family came here for dinner and then breakfast the next morning. The service was super fast and the food was amazing! I ordered the Viatnamese caramelized fish for dinner which was a little too sweet but still good. The other meals we got were the double stacked blue corn turkey enchiladas, and then for breakfast we got the Tres leches French toast and the leo scramble (salmon, onion, cream cheese). All of these meals were off the charts and I highly recommend eating here for any meal.

We visited this morning for breakfast. Had not been there for a few years. Everything was great as we remember. I had the Green eggs and ham sandwich with green chili and cheese and a side of home fries, Wife had Eggs with home fries and Christmas chili and toast. This restaurant is a must visit when in Santa Fe highly recommended. Also picked up a nice baked cookie and bag of Granola for the road !

Typical American restaurant with playful service and good food

Nice drive out into the desert foothills and in the morning away from the city there is almost no traffic and the facility is amazing! This location is on a very interesting side of Santa Fe. Wowwww!!! The food and service are excellent! Come on by ... more fresh air seating and quieter than any restaurant around.

Can’t wait to come back. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fantastic- you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Prices were very reasonable. 10/10

This place never disappoints! Lamb fajitas (special), was nothing short of awesome. If you see it on the menu, get it!

The food is always great, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. It is almost always busy, unless you manage to come at a rare slow time, but wait times for tables can be cut if you sit at the bar tables (parties of 1 or 2 people). If you are sensitive to loud noise the restaurant can get quite loud, due to many people eating and talking, during the peak hours. Get the dessert. It is incredible.

We love everything about this Santa Fe institution. It’s not downtown, so it’s frequented more by locals than by visitors. It’s the second closest restaurant to our house. We especially like the fact that the kitchen is open until 9p on weeknights (unlike the closest restaurant to our house, whose kitchen closes at 8p). As former big-city folk, we usually arrive at restaurants between 7:30 and 8p. I wouldn’t call us regulars, where they know our names, but we see familiar faces each time we visit and we have probably eaten one of three daily meals here at least 100 times over the past 20+ years. If it’s just the two of us we usually sit at the bar for dinner if we can snag two of the limited seats or one of three or four bar high-tops for two. For breakfast or lunch we like two of the six or so swivels stools at to the low retro lunch counter, where you’d expect a firey redhead with a beehive to take your order. From this vantage point you can also see some of the activity of the constantly busy kitchen. If we’re with others we like the lush al fresco patio out back if the weather permits. The inside choices are all good: several small dining rooms, all with their own bright colors and rustic tables. One room has a kiva. They finally turned the front portal waiting area into another dining room, to meet demand and reduce waiting time. As for the food, it’s comfort, fairly priced, and consistently good. On our most recent visit we really enjoyed the Petrale Sole stuffed with crabmeat. This dish could compete with the offerings of almost any restaurant. We shared it with a steak salad, which was a perfect combo. But all of the dishes are good and this is one of the rare places where you can still find a bottle of red wine around $30 (we don’t like to spend much on restaurant wine bottles because of well-known markups). Be sure to save room for dessert. They vary but there are housemade pies, cakes, and cookies. On our way out we always stop at the lobby bulletin board, where you can find business cards and tear-off ads for almost and kind of local small business you may need. We’ll be back, many times.

So glad that the staff at the Santa Fe KOA strongly recommended Harry's to us! The place was HOPPING and we had to wait for a table, but it was worth it. A very attentive server made sure our dining experience was perfect. Excellent food reasonably priced. The desserts were great, too. Pretty garden outside.

What a great experience! We were told there was a 30 minute wait but we're seated in 15 minutes. Great atmosphere - a little loud but in the best, most fun kinda way. Great service, EXCELLENT food, reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

This was not a place I would choose again. The portions were a inadequate, the fries were hard, the bread was hard, and my daughter's well done burger was pink. We left hungry. Our waitress was very good.

Had an enjoyable meal here after we found out the saloon in Lamy we'd wanted to eat lunch at is only open for dinner. It was a great atmosphere, lovely gardens and it hit the spot. I'd love to go back.

Great atmosphere, outdoor seating was pleasant and semi-private. The wait staff were good and the food was exceptional. It's definitely worth the wait time to get seated.

Food was great. However, waitress named Mayra asked if I wanted maple syrup with my waffles. Of course I said yes. She then asked if I wanted whipped cream with my pie. Of course I said yes. She never, however told me that each of these options would be $2.95. $6 for whipped cream and maple syrup? Are you insane? I just had her run the credit card so I didn’t notice until I got the final bill back. Extremely predatory behavior and pricing. Will never go back, and encourage other patrons to check their bill before paying.

Not sure why everybody loves this place. It is impossible to find parking. There is nothing for vegetarians on the menu. Unless you just want to eat corn. The service was horrible last night.We waited a half an hour to forty minutes for the waiter to come back and check on us. The steaks were way overcooked. My friend didn't even eat her meal. But he didn't come check on us to see how the food was. The outdoor seating is the only redeeming thing this place has going for it. I have tried to eat here about six times and I will not be coming back

This is a great spot for great food and crafted signature cocktails. Mezcal Manhattan was amazing and the margarita is perfect. Bison burger (with blue cheese) and carne asada tacos pictured here! Very tasty! Not to mention the chocolate cream pie and lemon meringue pie! 😆 Great service for our whole family (kids included) from Richard S. and pretty much all the staff who were all friendly and genuine. We love Harry’s and we come every time we visit Santa FE. Thanks Harry’s!

Beautiful outdoor dining experience. Our server was fantastic and the food was phenomenal. It does get very busy so expect a small wait on prime nights.

Cute diner-like spot. I've been there once for drinks and lunch with a friend, and most recently, for dinner and drinks for just me. Food is good, but dinner prices could be cut a little.

Food was delicious! I let our waitress pick my meal after asking what she recommended. All 3 dishes sounds amazing! I loved the one I ended up with. Definitely a must when you're in Santa Fe!

After a long day of visiting national parks along I-25, Harrys Roadhouse offered a much needed respite. A great roadside place that will satisfy any palette. Authentic mexican food, fresh salads and delicious sandwiches. Very colorful place with a wait staff that is friendly and attentive.

Packed! Parking will be a problem if you don't plan to get there early. I had a burger and fries and got a taste of my friend's rhubarb/strawberry pie! All delicious! My friend had the wild shrimp appetizer and said it was the best. Waitstaff was busy with all the customers, but had worked there 10 years and knew what he was doing.

Great customer service. Stuffed chicken and pizzas were fresh and tasty. Food came out quickly, and the staff was wonderful.

Well, I wish this place was in Arizona. If you live near Santa Fe, NM or are traveling through you must come here. The carne asada tacos were simple and delicious, as were the beans. I wish there were more beans and maybe another taco. The watermelon lemonade was refreshing with fresh watermelon juice! The Buddha Bowl was warm and refreshing. The flavors and textures all came together so well. The fries were real potatoes cut and fried. The chicken was crispy and still juicy. The burger was cooked well done and still juicy. The cookie was a big hit and three people at the table said that may be the best chocolate chip cookie they’ve ever had. It was delicious. The pecan pie! Problematically delicious. Everything about it was perfect. The hand formed crust, sweetness of the filling, and the amazing whipped cream. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the service was fantastic. We hope to be back!

Great food! Great people! Beautiful spaces for seating. Had the swordfish with fresh snap peas and ciconut rice - snap peas were so good we ordered an extra side to share. Lemon Meringue pie and coconut cream pie both fabulous. (The amount we spent on dinner included alcohol.)

A quick lunch stop for a sandwich and hearty brownie. A simple, popular and likeable place featuring nice decor and very close to Highway 25.

Fun local place to eat south of Santa Fe. We had a large party of 6 adults and 4 toddlers. They hooked us up with some tables. Food was great especially their homemade maple syrup! Service was great.

I recently visited Harrys, and was blown away by the amazing food, beverage, and service. We enjoyed margaritas, enchiladas, and a burger. The butterscotch budino and the banana cream pie rocked as well. Highly recommend!

Incredible food, good prices, friendly and fast service, the alcoholic drinks are poured generously, and even the dessert is made there and amazing. The margaritas are served in the shaker, so you basically get two drinks for the price of one. The mango margaritas are made with fresh mango purée, amazing. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining at. We went Thursday for dinner, and had to go back the next day to try more dishes. We had the ribs and fries, chicken tinga tacos, white pizza with Italian sausage, and the roadhouse style tostada. The pizza might have actually been the best dish, the dough is fresh and seriously great pizza. We had some pie one night, and the brownie with fudge, vanilla ice cream, freshly made whip cream and pecan caramel. If you want dessert I highly recommend the brownie, it’s enough to share for two. Don’t walk, run to Harry’s.

I had breakfast with a friend at Harry's!! Harry's takes reservations now, which is nice. I had an incredibly delicious breakfast burrito with hickory-smoked bacon. The potatoes were the absolute best potatoes I have had at any restaurant!! The coffee was terrific!!

Some of the best food you can get in a restaurant. Everything is prepared fresh with high quality ingredients. Lovely staff that treats everyone like family. Cannot recommend highly enough.

As good today as on my first visit 3 yrs ago. Staff handles Harry's chaotic popularity with seeming ease; kitchen is a model of consistency. A fun menu that sees old favorites shine.

This was a fun little spot that I decided to stop in for lunch. It really is like a roadside stop in place. Since it was just me I grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and he seemed to know everyone else at the bar. Got my food quickly and smashed it into my face (literally). I'd go back and do it again again.

I've never had a bad meal or bad service here. The meatloaf is my favorite. It's on Old Santa Fe trail, a short drive out of the busy city. The inside and the bar are good, the patio better. Be patient with parking and if there's a line then chill, baby. This is my icon of Route 66 comfort food and Santa Fe. I'm confident that the owner will protect his brand, continue to thrill locals and tourists, and never yield to the new trends.

Waited anxiously to eat their carbonara again... sorry to say the pancetta was dry and overcooked. Sauce was good...a little dry. David served us well... attentive but not smothering. Not the experience we remembered. Very loud.

Lived in Santa Fe a long time and my friend wanted to meet for a late lunch. I had the Buddha bowl which was absolutely disgusting. The kale was completely burnt as was the tiny piece of broccoli. I thought I was going to get everything raw. I could barely see any chick peas, and the ones I saw looked dehydrated. The sweet potatoes were old looking and hardly there. The dressing came in a little bowl and was about 25 percent of what was needed. I ate a little to not complain but finally told my friend this is terrible and we decided I should call the manager. She was not friendly at all . Didn't apologize and we had a terrible experience. She did comp the buddha bowl though .To top it off I have had a stomach ache for hours and do not know if I had food poisoning . And the service was no good either . We hardly saw our waitress. I will never go back again.

We are new to this restaurant. Have driven by several times and seen parking lot full, so we thought it must be amazing. The wait wasn't too bad for a Saturday evening, about 20 minutes. But once seated, we were in the room where the kitchen door is, plus 2 large groups of people. It was so loud we couldn't enjoy a conversation. We waited a really long time for a server to come over with water. Then we waited a very long time again for our order to be taken. Serving size of food was small and quite pricey. $16 for 3 tiny tacos and some beans. Margarita was good, coffee was good. Desert was average. Not sure if it's worth giving them another shot.

Went to Harry's twice for breakfast. It was wonderful both times but the Chilaquiles were OMG good. Loved the flavor. Service was good and coffee was not weak. The waffles with bacon were good too.

Stayed in Santa Fe for a week and enjoyed trying different restaurants. Was hesitant to go here because every time we passed the place looked packed. Thinking that meant it was really a good place to eat, we finally went. We were seated in the so called sun room with the heaters and it was very hot. It was very noisy. Hard to have a conversation at your table when the gentleman 2 tables down sounds like he's sitting right beside you. We had a buffalo burger and a southwest salad. Hubby said the burger was delicious. Salad wasn't what I consider southwest due to it mainly being a loaded veggie salad, however, it was still good. Server took care of us and checked on us often. Wasn't a place I would care to go back to with all the choices in the area.

We love eating at the bar here. Drinks are delicious (the spicy margarita packs a punch in more ways than one!) and we loved that they have excellent vegetarian offerings. The Buddha Bowl with crispy fried kale was outstanding, as were the vegetarian enchiladas. There was a lot to choose from, which we loved. Top notch, friendly service, too! We are looking forward to coming back soon!
