We decided to give Hawkers another try, this time in person (previously we ordered out). We got the Seoul Hot Chicken Bao, Beef Haw Fun, and Penang Poutine. The Bao was by far the best thing there. They were hot and steamy, while the chicken thigh was perfectly crispy and coated in their hot sauce. The poutine- this was just ok. For the price, it’s highway robbery. You get hardly a serving of fries, mostly soggy, coated in the tangy sauce (was just ok), with 6-7 very small chunks of cheese curds. It was tasty, but a bit of a rip off. And then the Beef Haw Fun (basically beef with rice noodles and a soy blend sauce). This literally made us sick after eating it. There was grimy, slightly bitter substance all throughout the noodles which were all stuck together. It was an unpleasant taste, felt like it was cooked in a pot or pan that already had something old cooked in it, and whatever it was latched onto our noodles. You can see it on the picture. If this is intentional, that this dish needs a re-visit. Otherwise this completely ruined the entire visit.

Amazing experience! I loved the atmosphere here they had wonderful options for both food and drink and our server Crystal was super helpful, giving us tips along the way! The outdoor seating was great and the street it's on had great night life. Also I'm obsessed with the menu designs, very cute and fun and easy to read!

We placed a to go order and it was completed correct. Some of the items were first time ordering, like some steak with kimchi and onions cucumbers in a very nice sauce. Some type of a bread that you pull and dip my goodness, can't wait to order again. Thank you for accuracy and fresh and hot. The wings amazing as usual

My wife and I have been eating her for a while. Every time we have gone jack has made it a very pleasurable experience. He even remembers our orders. We will always come here thanks to him.

Food & service (Ashley) was beyond excellent. The only slight negative would be is that it gets very loud inside and can be hard to have a conversation.

This was my wife and I’s first time at Hawkers and we had a great time! The Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned made by Nina were excellent. Our server Julio was not only attentive but super personable which made us feel welcome. We tried the Roti and Hawkers Delight on his recommendation and both were delicious! Would go back again. The food is good but the staff is GREAT!

Disappointed, food taste really bad, curry sauce really bad. Waste of money

Hawkers remains the best pan-Asian restaurant in Orlando. The food is absolutely superb, the staff is top notch (Savannah was my server today), and the atmosphere is perfect for either groups or single diners. If you like curry, this is your place. Most people start off with the Pad Thai on their first visit, but I'm telling you, the Po Po Lo's curry is the best. If anyone tells you their curry is mid, they are wrong. I've tried curry all over friggin' creation, and this is the best I've had. No, they don't take cash, but I have no idea who carries around wads of cash anymore - probably communists. So just bring your credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay and relax. In all seriousness, this is a great place. Get here early on weekend nights if you want a seat. Finally, the curry mashed potatoes are making a comeback next week. As a longtime diner, you have no idea how happy that makes me. They're delicious. So forget the negative, pay attention to the positive, and just enjoy this place.

Went there for the first time to give it a try. It's a great concept but the food was okay. Their papaya salad was bland…no flavor at all. If you're craving papaya salad, I would recommend going to the Thai restaurant and not ordering papaya salad here. Their Korean chicken wings were good. We ordered a couple of other dishes and they were pretty bland as well.

Sunday evening I took the family out to try something new. When we arrived there was no wait and the hostess told us there was a table ready just needed to be wiped off. A party of 5 walks in right after us and another hostess whispers to our hostess and next thing you know we no longer have a table ready, wanted us to sit outside on an empty soaking wet patio with a toddler. Then the original hostess and I agreed we could do a high top with the bench because of having a toddler. Next thing you know a 4 top walks in the other hostess running the show sat the 4 top. So here we are with a toddler waiting for an extra 30 minutes to be seated. Our original hostess (Marvel shirt) kept trying to seat us and the other hostess kept overruling her and made it very obvious she wasn't concerned about getting us seated. Once we finally sat our server was pleasant and attentive but this still doesn't excuse the actions of the hostess.

the food here is amazing and very fresh. everything comes out as it’s ready so the food is always hot. the crispy chicken bao and soup dumplings are to die for!! Kimberly is also an amazing waitress and was very kind and on top of everything. 10/10 would recommend ! b

I love Hawkers and their small plates concept to share, or just a main dish. Nice drinks. The service was very good, except they forgot my food, and it arrived when everyone was finished. It's a smaller Hackers and it needs a bit of care.

Worst pick up experience! I placed an order to pick up. They told me the order will be ready in 20 mins. I arrived to pick up door and ring the bell 30 mins after I placed the order and she told me the order will be ready in 10 mins. Guess what happened? I have received the order 1 hour 20 mins later. Never order again, never again!

Went to hawkers with some per usual been here plenty of times food is always good, but for some reason I just wasn't feeling the food I ordered I don't like sending food back to the kitchen so I was just gonna take the L and go to Taco Bell, but Abby our waitress noticed and offered so get me something new without me having to say anything I told her that it was fine and I don't like sending food back, but she insisted. I order the chicken the bao buns which were great super shoutout to Abby for making sure I had great experience. We always are so quick to say something about the bad but never the good. I will continue to keep coming back thanks to Abby

Maggie was amazing. I ordered the roti, chicken dumplings, double fried wings, and pork belly. Everything was 10/10. We did park on the street next to the building be mindful if it rains because the streets were flooded.

Like most… I luv to eat & have had my share of authentic Asian-Oriental cuisine.. BUT HANDS UP & HATS OFF to this place !! 👏🏽 bravo to the chef - a very unique combination of flavoring .. my taste buds & pallet was on a rollercoaster savoring each plate!!! Food was fresh, plentiful, and TASTY for sure … Get there early place gets packed (surely worth it) & seating isn’t the most comfortable but they provide fast service so you won’t notice but nonetheless, price reasonable so I shall be back soon …& definitely highly recommend!

Hawkers is my go-to place in the Mills area. I took a friend there this past Sunday and want to shoutout Kyle for taking the extra moment to walk us through gluten free options despite it being so busy for lunch. It can be stressful going out to eat with allergies, but you can tell you have his full attention when he’s at the table. He was incredibly kind. Wonderful experience as always!

saw the great reviews on youtube, went to try it while visiting orlando. nice casual atmosphere reminded me of hooters, kinda rustic, corrugated sheet metal, ship lap, orange painted areas. parking lot is a little small and tight. went during lunch on saturday the place is busy. very friendly staff. but as for the food, the main reason i went there, portions are on the smaller side, some may like that, but the main reason for going is flavor. i wouldn't say it's bad, its just oriental food catered to non orientals. you can tell by the customers that filled the room, hardly any asians. the flavor was lacking, if you want to eat good asian food, go where most of them eat, flavors at those restaurants are on point and price/value is better. i was dissapointed but that has nothing to do with the service which is great, they were very friendly and nice. chicken dumpling tasted plain, the sichuan dumplings were almost avg tasting, the kimchi steak fried rice missed its mark flavor wise, the meat in it didn't taste anything like steak. dan dan noodles was just ok. theres restaurants like these in my area also, asian food and no asians go there, 2 reasons, the flavors aren't there or value isn't there, so mostly white and black prople go, cause most of them don't really know how it's supposed to taste or what the range it should costs. just my opinion, maybe because i eat such great tasting oriental food most of the time.

There’s never a moment that I don’t crave Hawkers. I dream about the Roti Canai, I tell everyone I know about the Korean Twice Fried Wings, and I get butterflies just thinking about the Pad Thai! Don't get me started about the banana summer roll OMG!

The food is good, fast service but is way too crowded,even with a reservation you may have to wait 40 min outside, so go ready to wait outside ,not too much parking space,the dumplings are Amazing!!

I live in Tampa and drive to Orlando just to go to Hawkers. Amazing food.

If you’re dark skinned prepare to wait at least 10 minutes for service. I came in on a Monday and waited almost 15 minutes, after being seated, to be acknowledged. I finally left after the 15 minute mark of being walked past and ignored. Heard the food was good but that experience ruined it.

Five-Spice Sticky Ribs "Cola-braised pork ribs, smothered in housemade char siu glaze. Topped with pickled fresno peppers, spring onions, and cilantro." Absolutely amazing. If you don't believe me, just check the picture. We also had the roti canai which was pretty good and Korean twice fried wings which was very good. It's a little loud inside but otherwise a really good experience!

I love this place. You HAVE to get the Roti Canai (you’ll want to add extra bread too). Everything is delicious. This time I got the CKY - shrimp, chicken, lap cheong (my favorite- it’s a sweet and savory Chinese sausage), egg, veggies, + soy and pork sauce. A perfect spot for delicious food. The food is flavorful and cooked fresh. The little plates are perfect to share (or don’t share and keep it all for yourself no judgement). It’s one of our places that everyone in the family loves. Favorites are the Roti Canai (fried bread with a curry sauce to dip in… trust me it’s yummy). Other favorites are the lo mein with steak; shrimp skewers, sticky ribs, fried tofu bites… really it’s all good. We mix up our order each time. It can get busy, and it can be on the loud side. Menu font is easy to read and the music isn’t intrusive.

Get the wings, you won’t be let down, we tried most of the shareables. Everything except for the spring rolls was amazing. The boas and roti were my favorite, I could sit and eat those all night!!

Always a go-to place for a meeting with a small or large group of friends. The food is so good. Make sure you try something different every time!

Great authentic South East Asian food with knowledgeable staff. Roti Canai is highly recommended and the picture here is the beef haw fun which was delicious. Nice cocktails too.

Top choice for Asian style street food to share. The menu is curated very well and has a mix of Malaysian, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese. It evolves with specials being added that keeps it fresh. The food is consistently great and the servers are amazing. The Roti Canai, SINGAPORE Mei Fun, Po Po Los chicken curry and sticky ribs are stars of the menu. The soup dumplings and Chinese BBQ pork buns are also pretty good. They make mean cocktails. All of then are unique and flavorful. PS: Ask for their spice tray. All three sauces are exceptional.

Definitely interesting with Hawkers bringing the concept of Asian street food to the States. The vibe and environment made me feel very much like Gen Z, which is great because I felt young and in college again. We had Korean twice fried wings, chicken lo mein, chow fam and spiced lamb skewers. Quite pricey with it being $60 and some change plus tip, but it was good to go for the experience. Their tables have Chinese newspapers in them.

I would say this place is good but nothing great. It’s also difficult because this area has a bunch of GREAT restaurants. You should come here and try a few dishes for yourself. For the most part it was a good experience.

Very good all the fast service and the attention the only thing that they do not accept cash and we had already eaten and everything so in that they should improve and tell the clients but afterward everything was super good Terry's attention I think his name was excellent

Food, drinks, and service were excellent. There is a lot of variety on the menu. Three of us shared five different plates, and it was plenty of food for us. We're looking forward to going again to try some more dishes.

I love this place so much! The lo mein is the best 💜 and the steak yummie! Only thing I hate is there is NEVER any parking.

I was honestly not excited to come to this restaurant. I was hot, super bad mood, did not feel good at all. Needless to say I was over it before it started. 🤣 I am also very very picky about Asian food. My body is sensitive even though I Want to try new things. This place....beyond my expectations. The food was impeccable. I of course wanted to be annoyed at prices. But omg...worth it...and for what you get even more worth it. High quality freshly made food. We had to wait a tiny bit based on what we ordered but it was like 10 of us. Considering and how busy and packed it was it wasn't long at all. Apatizers were out fast. Wontons! Bomb! We had leftovers and the servers were amazing. They explained everything you needed. While we waited the bartender was sweet and funny. And she let us look at menus while we waited on our table. Music was great. The lights are a nice touch. Turning down lights for dinner was nice. It's family owned from what I heard and family recipes. I can't wait to go back tbh. And the donuts are yum. Not to sweet. Perfect. The chicken appetizers are huge and amazing....never had a better one. Wonton bomb I got basil fried rice with steak added veggies! The bread with the dip was on point.

I’ve never had anything I didn’t like, but the noodles are my favorite. I wish they would bring back their mango sticky rice dessert. It was fantastic, but they stopped making it after the pandemic. One of my favorite places for Asian food in all of Orlando.

I went to hawkers on N. Mills Ave. and I ordered their chicken egg rolls which I've had before and I really like them. I have never eaten inside the restaurant. I probably been there five or six times and I've always gotten takeout today when I got home. The eggrolls were cut in half long ways which makes them totally, garbage as far as reheating them or freezing them or any of the things that I buy these eggrolls for .... Worse than that when I called the restaurant the young woman I spoke to basically blew me off. She said well that's the way we serve them when you eat in the restaurant...... sorryyyyyy.... Great ....i don't know who the genius was that thought it's a great idea to serve the eggrolls cut in half ....but somebody's not paying attention as far as management goes at hawkers.

Hawkers is an amazing vibe if you’re looking for Asian street food. I have come multiple times and always gotten the udon! The best! I continue to try new apps and never am disappointed. Bishop is such a sweet server and gives good reccs!

Our day was off to a rough start but we decided to try you guys out for the first time. CORDNEY turned everything around for the most amazing service ever. never had i been treated with great fun, energetic, and top notch service in any restaurant. his recommendations were so good everything down from the Korean Wings, the fries, the roti, the popo dish with chicken were so darn good. my fiancé loved his recommendation with the yaki udon with beef. that should be called cordneys specialty. Drinks were on spot especially the malaysian mule. i can’t wait to come back and thank you so much for having great assets like Cordney to your restaurant. Our experience was complete loving and unforgettable.

We ordered the egg rolls and soup dumplings. The egg rolls came out cold and flavorless and the soup dumplings had a bad aftertaste. I’m usually a huge fan of both. We ended up cashing out and getting a meal somewhere else instead of ordering more here. I also had an empty water at the table for 5 or so minutes and had to ask a food runner to fill it up for me.

We ordered a bit of everything and all was excellent. I highly recommend. Will be back for sure.

Food is amazingly tasty and great atmosphere

I can not recommend this location enough, from the drink to the food everything was perfect. This was my first time eating at hawkers and Julio was our server and he was very informative and his service was spectacular. I then got greeted by the assistant general manager Brandon, he runs this restaurant like a well oiled machine. His service and hospitality was amazing as well. We had the banana spring rolls and my girlfriend was obsessed! We will definitely be back with a group and to see Julio and Brandon again.

Good quality and service. Only a short menu of full size dishes. Most things are smaller portions meant to be shared, but that get pricey pretty quick if everyone is really hungry.

Very good overall: friendly and tasty food. Menu a little confusing with lots of options. Definitely a nice change from universal studios and citywalk Restsurant scene. Well worth the Uber out.

Everything we tried was good. The Roti Cani was something awesome. Very delicious. Alex, our waiter, was the best!

I loved having all the small plates and eating a variety of dishes for dinner. A fun problem is that you get something exceptional and want more but you have other delicacies already on their way. We just have to go back there again. LOL

The food was wonderful, everything was perfect as usual. Our server Bishop was incredibly friendly and helpful, and showed us around the area. I ordered off the vegetarian menu, and they asked if I was vegetarian, which I was, and not only did she let me know one of the sauces I had been ordering for years was made with chicken broth, she brought me a cup of amazing sauce I had never had before. The whole experience was wonderful, and I’m glad I came here.

If you’re looking for something quick and efficient this is fine. If you’re looking for something flavorful where you can dine in with friends and family then no. The seating area is very small on the inside. I sat outside with my family and it was one fan blowing on everything. Let’s say some people were unhappy about that. I asked to be seated where the sun wasn’t shining on us and they told me they had some issues with that. Then a few minutes later they seated another family there. Our food came out at a good time. We had the Pad Thai and the steak fried kimchi. With shrimp summer egg rolls. The pad Thai was a 10/10 the Steak was a 5/10 and the summer shrimp egg rolls came with two pieces of shrimp so I’d say a 3/10. Every thing was dry. We also ordered the Painkiller drink 10/10. The actually waiters did a good job. I’m going to tip regardless but I’d say a 7/10. Would I come back to this location, no. Would I continue eating Hawkers? Yes.

Very good Asian street food place. Originally we thought this was a food court style setup but it is actually a sit-down restaurant and you order from one menu. The food was very good. The sticky ribs, shrimp skewers, and CKT were all pretty good. The roti canai I thought was just ok. I thought the curry could have more flavor.

Our server Kim was efficient and attentive to our orders and alterations. She seated us quickly and made sure we were settled in with drinks immediately. This is a place I always go to and will continue to go because of the kind servers like Kim and the yummy food!
