We found it on google Maps, and it said open for breakfast. It is a very warm and inviting Western feel. Service was FABULOUS. Food was outstanding. Come get some!

Love Breakfast anytime of the day.

Waitress was horrible food not even done properly. My wife had 2 pancakes cold butter just sat. Omelet was undercooked fruit not ripe. NEVER AGAIN

This place used to be one of my favorites. They always had fantastic food and friendly service. However, over the past year, we've had some issues getting in with a party of 6. They don't do call ahead seating. When we get there, there are open tables and no wait for up to 4 people, but for a party of 6, they quote 45 minutes to an hour. I have no issie waiting when the testaurant is full, but half the tables were open! We asked why they can't just sit us at a group of open tables off to the side, and they said it's because that area is closed due to a shortage of servers. Listen, if a server is available to take a party of 4 right away, they can handle 6... I assume you just don't feel like cleaning an extra table at the end of the night. A couple of times now, we removed our name from the list, walked across the parking lot, and were seated immediately at Old Chicago. If we return to Haymaker, it probably won't be this location.

So good, went to the Thunderbird location, gave them 5 stars, and had an even BETTER meal/experience here. The server, Crystal, was one of the best servers I have ever had, courteous, pleasant, and attentive while allowing me to enjoy my meal and attend to some work while I ate. I got the special, the haymaker Benedict, and it was delicious. Quiet music, great ambiance, clean, and all around a great experience. Well played Haymaker!

My wife and I love Haymaker. We don’t come here all the time, but when we do, it’s something special. A big reason we keep coming back is because of Bree—she’s an amazing bartender whose customer service is exceptional. Bree always makes us feel welcome, greeting us with a smile and working hard to ensure we have a great experience. On our most recent visit, we had a different waitress, Stephanie. Unfortunately, my experience with her did not meet my expectations. Despite being a functional and respectful customer, I felt that Stephanie’s attitude and body language were off-putting, making our meal less enjoyable. At one point, I preferred not to have further interactions with her due to how uncomfortable her demeanor made me feel. One of the things I truly appreciate about Bree is her positive attitude, even on tough days. Her body language is consistently warm and inviting, which makes all the difference in our experience. Thank you, Haymaker, and a special thanks to Bree for always making our visits memorable.

The pulled pork and brisket at Haymaker Goodyear were excellent.

Food is good, but they have reduced the amount of food that they used to serve. My country fried steak used to cover half my plate when I came last April. Today, it looked like they cut the steak in half to make two plates. Flavor is good still and people is nice, but disappointed to not get what I usually did.

We are a weekly visitor to Haymakers. Awesome place!

Wasn't impressed with this location at all. Was there when it was supposed to open but it wasn't so waited until they did, the staff gave off a vibe that they didn't want to be there once I entered, I know the waitress took down what I ordered, but yet failed to make sure what it was that I did order because it was wrong when I got it, I tried to flag down my waitress to get my order corrected until she finally showed up when I was almost done with the items I did order were consumed. On top of all of that, it wasn't busy, so all of these mistakes should not have happened even with a small degree of human error.

Very disappointed. The waitress was nice. We felt sorry for her having to work there. My food was lukewarm and I couldn't finish it before the biscuits and gravy were cold. When it came to husband's BBQ, it seems lke everything was an extra charge. We will never go back. There are way too many better restaurants around.

I really do hate to leave bad reviews but today it is called for. When a few things add up to make a bad experience then I will share. First of all I ordered their haymaker benedit which didn't come with a poached egg and also said smashed potatoes on the menu but they came out as mashed potatoes. Not a big deal but they also gave me the butt end of a tomato. I expressed my concerns in a respectful way and they basically said I didn't read the menu right instead of just taking my feedback. The real reason I'm leaving the review though is we didn't get any refills on coffee or iced tea and had to get up and ask for it. Makes you wonder why you are paying good money. We also live in goodyear and are regulars here.

Best bloody Mary I've had. The chorizo was really good. The flight of flavored champaign was amazing.

Gone for breakfast a couple times and it’s been great. Son loved the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, I agreed. Good bacon. Had the T.A.B. Sandwich today for lunch, it was good! Sweet potato fries, yum! Our waitress was on the ball. Good food, decent price. Country music playing. We like it.

The bartender was very slow n paid more attention to her regulars than other customers. She never smiled. This is the 2nd time we have had bad service in the bar area. Food was good and the portions were large!

I usually order this via Uber and there have been little hiccups but nothing too bad until this last order. We love some of their food and I love their sauteed spinach with veg...however my last order I received spinach half cooked half still raw thrown in a to go box with no other veg. So I called and left a message with no response. Sadly, I don't think we will order from them anymore.

I can't rate the food, the service or the atmosphere because we walked out in the lobby. There were 10 people standing in the lobby when we walked in, and the hostess station and cash register were unmanned. After about 5 mins, someone came out from the back and signed folks in ahead of us. The first 2 agreed to wait the 25 mins. The second 2 left refusing to wait 25 mins, we left refusing to wait 25 mins. The east half of the restaurant was empty and had no one in it. 20 booths or so? No one there, yet a 25 minute wait for the other end of the restaurant. We left went to Cracker Barrel, where there was no wait and plenty of staff to greet. It's a Wednesday morning folks, not that many folks are out, but a 25 min wait for half of the restraunt? A solid no.

Service was slow sat for 10 minutes until the server finally came over. Food was mediocre.

For a whiskey bar, they have a real decent breakfast.

So the food and drinks were good. My daughter had the bread pudding and it was good. The chocolate gluten free cake was terrible. And it was almost frozen. The ice cream was good though.

My girlfriend and I had breakfast at Haymakers this morning and the waitress and Manager were very rude and non careing. My friend's breakfast had oil all over the plate. She request them to redo it. Waited 15-20 mins and 2nd plate came out cold with the eggs like rubber and of course didn't want to try for a 3rd plate. The waitress and Manager thought she still had to pay for her ice tea. REALLY!!! Why since she couldn't eat her breakfast and had to wait all that time would you not credit the whole bill???? She reluctantly paid for the tea but after being long time customers we will find a different place to go. This isn't the first time this has happened so time to move on.😠😠

I got the rib dinner the ribs and beans were dry I couldn't finish my dinner the last time I been there a year ago food was very good I was so disappointed this time probably won't go back

Loved Skylar (our waitress). I find it's hard to find a gen Z that is personable & engaged as a server. Props to her character. My food was ok. Choices were good. Perhaps I just chose wrong. The restaurant was clean & spacious.

The biscuits and gravy are wonderful. And if you like chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy that is wonderful also.

Please be careful if you have celiac. I ate here last week and now I'm on day 6 of being absolutely ill from cross contamination. Just want to keep others aware just in case

Went in for a late hour last night my server Was phenomenal and smelled really good didn’t catch her name, but I will be back just for her service!

If you’re looking for a good breakfast spot in Goodyear, keep looking. Cracker Barrel, sure; IHOP, why not? Maybe even the McDonald’s drive-through. Just don’t waste your time at Haymaker. While the server was friendly and just the right amount of attentive, that’s where the positive aspects ended. To start, the booth we were brought to was filthy. We were there for the restaurant opening, which means it hadn’t been cleaned from the night before. The tabletop itself was sticky and one side of the booth had salt and crumbs all over it, as well as what looked like smeared butter or oil. We started with a cup of coffee and it was awful. Nearly flavorless and somehow only warm, not even hot, even though it was supposedly just brewed. We ordered the chicken and waffles, French toast, and a side of 2 eggs and bacon. Other than being cold when it came to the table, the French toast had good flavor; although, it was so soggy with the batter it’s soaked in prior to cooking that adding syrup would have turned it into bread pudding. Everything else was cold, and quite frankly, just tasted terrible. Like the coffee, the chicken and waffles were extremely bland. Thankfully, the unused syrup from the French toast was enough to make them palatable. The eggs were ordered over-medium and came runny enough that it was almost hard to tell they’d been put in a pan before they were plated. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, but I’ve ordered over-easy eggs at even halfway decent restaurants that didn’t have that much runny egg white in them, let alone the ice cold yolks. The bacon was thin and brittle, not dissimilar from the Hormel you can buy pre-cooked at the grocery store that’s supposed to be warmed in the microwave. When the bill came, we were in such a hurry to leave that I didn’t look it over before handing over my credit card. Unsurprisingly, after the terrible experience with the food, we were less than shocked to see that we were also overcharged for breakfast. Needless to say, we don’t recommend Haymaker and won’t be back to try anything else on the menu.

I was really hoping to like this place and I’m thinking maybe I just ordered wrong. But the iced coffee was just terrible for the price (I didn’t expect a specialty coffee but it tasted like overly sweetened watery hotel coffee) and paying almost five dollars for such a tiny cup of fruit was disappointing. Biscuit was great though and service is amazing, just was looking forward to better food

My family and I have been coming here for years. I specifically go here for the Haymaker Benedict. Unfortunately, my family and I will never go back. This morning my wife and I were trying to enjoy a Sunday morning date when my wife noticed a huge cockroach walking on the walls coming from the kitchen. We both were in disbelief while it crawled up and down the walls getting closer to our table. I flagged the waitress over and informed her quietly, trying to not disturb other customers and make a scene. I expressed our concern and wished to cancel our order that was submitted ten minutes prior. She was very apologetic and said she would notify management immediately. We were still charged for drinks that we immediately stopped drinking when we saw the cockroach. As if that wasn’t frustrating enough, the manager came to our table and apologized explaining that, “it’s just the season”. Honestly, that was the tipping point for me to go out of my way and write a review. Maybe I am overreacting, but there is no season that excuses having a 2-3” cockroach run out of a restaurants kitchen. To say the least, my wife and I are extremely disappointed because we just lost our favorite breakfast spot.

We've gotten Sunday brunch there a couple times and it's a nice place to go for a brunch on the name. It does get a little busier past 11:00. Anything earlier than that there's usually no waiting.

Great place for brunch. Their Avocado Toast is delish. WHEATBERRY TOAST, AVOCADO SPREAD, TWO EGS, HERITAGE LETTUCE, CHERRY TOMATO, RED ONION, FETA CHEESE, BALSALMIC REDUCTION, CRUSHED RED PEPPER.

I love this place, every time we go they are packed but it's worth the wait

No matter what you order here there is going to be a lot of food! For breakfast I usually order the sausage gravy and biscuits which comes with eggs. The meals are a great value and they offer a great military discount. If you go on a weekend morning you may have to wait for a few minutes to get a table, but there is a bar with open seating if you are in a hurry.

A quick and good breakfast is right around the corner at Haymaker! Great breakfast, anytime!!

We went here for brunch on a weekend. The place was busy and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table which is pretty standard for a place like this. The food was great but the restaurant was not as clean as I would like. My silverware was dirty and needed to be swapped out and the staff was good but not the friendliest. I don’t know if we will be back.

I have been here soo many times, majority breakfast places are not good and this one is always spot on, and great drinks. I have had family come out of town to try it and when they are in town they always ask to go to the haymaker.

Completely inexcusable service. We went in with a party of two and had to watch three groups with same number of people who arrived after us be seated before us. I hate to be that guy and say it’s a race thing but I did find it interesting that we were the only minorities in the waiting area and just so happen to be the only people who were kept waiting. I decided to not confront the hostess about it since obviously we weren’t wanted there and would’ve continued to receive terrible service should we have stayed. Heard the food was good, it’s a shame we weren’t allowed to try it out.

I have gone every weekend since I've been working in phoenix. I haven't had anything that I didn't like.

I posted what was good. Rest for us not so good. Service - not sure if kitchen or waitress , but messed up order so we needed to send back to get fixed. Then when received the split bill, people had the wrong items on each bill. Because there is sooo many amazing eateries in Arizona , I won’t be putting this one at the top of my list.

I've been to this location multiple times for drinks and food. I have to say these are wonderful but the service to get these is terrible. Waitresses are rude and the Bartender gal thinks she knows everything about mixing drinks. She needs to go back to class and learn again....think her name was Molly. Learn how to smile Molly. The waitresses would rather flock together over at the drink station chatting and busy on phones than help customers.

Alright I have had this place on my list of places to go for a long time, for the simple fact that I knew someone that you used to work here that runs their own business and makes great food. The Haymaker does not disappoint. Great vibe, feel, ambience, food, inside and outside seating, and air conditioning. Do not laugh on the last one as that is a big thing in Arizona and not all places have good air circulation/conditioning. First off, we had Mimosa flights and they were just right. Not overly sweet or too hard on the champagne, good balance, I highly recommend the flight of mimosas. They warm you up and make you cheerful and ready to eat. The first flight was white peach, mango, strawberry and pomegranate. My girl ordered the pulled pork brisket skillet and it was unique and very flavorful. Cannot go wrong with barbecue anything. I had the traditional fair of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and a side pancake but it was done very well. You have to eat the pancake hot with the butter and syrup running all over the plate. Simply the best!!! I have to get two next time. The last flight of mimosas were prickly pear, elderflower, passion fruit, and huckleberry. Our favorites were huckleberry, prickly pear, and elderflower. Our server was Rosemary and she was very helpful with food, drinks, and questions we had about her distinctive glasses. Good conversation. I know this review was a little wordy but I enjoyed my visit and will be going back to try the ribs one day soon. Haymaker will be added to one of my regular rotations of places to dine.

First time here and will be back. Had simple burger and fries and all was very flavorful.

The food was amazing. The service... Not so much. Our waitress seemed to be annoyed by having to serve people. Not one smile. I spoke to Mario on the phone before I came telling him it was my friend's birthday and he told me to tell the other staff to tell him we were there and he'd send out something with a candle in it. I told 3 different female staff about this and it never happened. The girls that work there don't seem to like other girls. Food awesome but super disappointed in the overall customer service. And I still tipped 25%. Can't recommend them to anyone else as much as I'd like to.

Waitress was really lovely, and made it a good experience overall! Food was okay. I was starving so I was happy to eat, but otherwise there wasn't really anything noteworthy about it. The atmosphere was adorable. They had amazing brickwork for a majority of the walls, nice thick wood tables, and a generally good ambiance. I ordered their private label old fashion (my preferred drink; I've tried enough to make me pretty knowledgeable about whats what with them) which was a pricey sum of $18 dollars which I've never paid so much for a drink in my life. I've never been more disgusted by an old fashioned before. Couldn't really taste anything unique about the bourbon because you couldn't really taste any bourbon, the tumbler was less than half full when it arrived at the table, and the cherry was crunchy even though it had been supposedly fermented in a whiskey barrel to age it. Overall very disappointed about it. When talking to the bartender about how they do their old fashons to try and figure out what was so bad about it she treated me like I was less knowledgeable then a slug on salt. I never need to eat here again.

First time visitor. Waitress was nice and fun. Food just ok for a very hungry patron. The restaurant itself is very cute and warm. We saw on the menu an Old Fashioned for $18. I asked the waitress what was so special about this drink to charge $18, she stated that it was because of the spectacular Burbon used. My daughter loves this drink and usually has one at every restaurant she has a meal at. The drink was horrible, we could not taste the burbon, maybe the bartender put way too much sugar in it, not sure, the cherry was crunchy and gross, the tumbler came half full with the massive ice cube in the middle. I went to the bartender to talk to her about the drink. She was so rude and defensive. I will never go back to this restaurant. Hopefully they will do training for the bartenders so they can learn how to make this very popular drink. I was not offered any type of refund. Very poor taste.

The food I ordered was good except for my ribs, they were very dry and no meat?! (where's the beef!) Our waiter was nice but no where to be found, we did not get our drinks until after we got our food. It was not busy but we waited and waited, I had to ho to the front to get our drinks and all she said was I forgot.😒 I think this will be our last visit.

The service was fine. We walked in and directly to a booth without any waiting. This was at 5 on a weeknight. I thought it funny that they weren't busier than they were. We ordered and sat, and sat, and waited. Finally, my husband asked how much longer as it had already been 45 minutes. The waitress said she would go check and came back with our food. Unfortunately, the food was barely warm. The Mac cheese was congealed, and the meat was cold. What a disgusting thing, a cold fat globule in my mouth. My husband complained, and the waitress offered a fresh plate, but by that time, we just wanted to leave. She did get a deduction on our bill. We had 2 appetizers, 2 platters, and water. Still, we paid more than I think was fair and right for a dinner that was not edible.

The staff is super nice and the pulled pork is to die for even without any sauce. We love coming here.

This is update to downgrade our rating of this restaurant. Our server was unaccommodating regarding our loyalty program. She finally claimed to enter our rewards number to our account, but we never received our points. It's no longer a nice place to go, and we will not return. The following is most of our original post: Food is decent but a bit pricey. Belong to their loyalty program but have been unsuccessful in getting our latest points posted to our account. Contacted them by email a few days ago with no response as of yet. The rewards would temper the cost.

Loved them eggs benedicts... Came in for breakfast.

Nice place. Clean. Nothing stands out about it. It's like any other restaurant. It's loud...they have a small bar area. Some of the food is served on metal trays, I myself have never been a fan of eating food off of trays like they are a plate. We have never waited long to be seated but we do eat dinner early...around 4pm. Parking has not been a problem at that time either.

We were looking forward to some great ribs and chicken. The ribs were not meaty and fall off the bone like we expected. Our mac and cheese was cold. They did bring us out another one. The cowboy beans were not a favorite either. We did have good service and the staff was very nice.

This place has really good food. To bad I was not able to eat here tonight. This place wont attend you if you show up at 8:24pm They close at 9. Workers just wanna chill and act like there not there to serve. We were sat at a booth and no one came over and attended us so we left.

My friends and I came for brunch and mimosas. Our first time here. I brought my son with me also. The restaurant was big, nice, loved the country theme and music. We waited for our table and once we were ready to be seated we were brought to a table that looked like another group had been there with a baby already. The high chair for my son was extremely dirty I was shocked, thankfully I brought in his high chair cover and the floor underneath was still dirty from the previous baby dropping food. In my opinion I did not like that for a first impression and I got the feeling like my son was a burden to have to clean up after him again if he dropped food onto the floor (since the floor wasn’t already cleaned they didn’t want to be bothered to clean it up again after him) the food was really good, we enjoyed our flight of mimosas to try. Our server was nice she would check up on us, only thing that bothered me and my friends about her was she didn’t ask how we wanted to split the check she just put everything onto one ticket and left. We waiting and waited for her to return to ask her to split up the check and she never came back. We ended up walking up to the front, told them we wanted to split the check and again assumed we only meant 2 checks when we wanted 3 but we didn’t want to cause even more trouble so we just settled for the two checks. Which we didn’t get to use our reward points because of that. I think I will return again only because I enjoyed the ambiance and food. Thank you, hopefully it’ll be all amazing next time

Fairly basic menu. Food was good enough to go back, but wouldn't be high on my list.

I had one of the best Country fried steak dinners in a long time. This one was soooo tender, and the gravy was delicious. The smashed potatoes were creamy red potatoes, and they were devine. Also, the fried pickle spears were perfect. Wow!

our server was rude, not willing to help, and argumentative. So much for first impressions, plenty of other restaurants to try since this one discriminates.

Delicious breakfast! We are from out of town and searched for a good breakfast place based off of location and reviews. We settled on this restaurant and are SO glad we did!! Highly recommend!

The overall experience was good. Only thing me and my family had a problem with was the group of hostesses in the front. We waited almost a 1 hr 45 min for a group of 6. We were sitting out side with everyone else waiting to be called. We asked the hostesses multiple times about our table and they said there were tables ready we will be called up in a minute. Hostesses were being rude and giving my family ugly faces. Finally at hour forty five of waiting we went inside and was told our table is ready and that they forgot about us and thought we had left. The whole time arguing with the hostesses who didn’t accept they had messed up continued to make it seem it was our fault. When the whole time waiting they were going outside calling out for people. Grateful we finally got sat down food was delicious and our server was extraordinary and made our dining experience better. Will still come back. Open a haymaker in BUCKEYE PLZ

First time trying this place and will be back. Big place with lots of seating. Country music atmosphere. Tons of items on the menu to choose from. Waitress was very friendly and attentive!

Everything was delicious except the Belgian waffle. It had no flavor in the batter, tasted exactly like a free breakfast waffle from a hotel. The syrup was just sugar flavored. The butter was real at least. The chicken fried steak was very good. Eggs and country potatoes were cooked perfectly. The biscuits and gravy were also very good.

I sat at the bar on a Friday around 5pm for happy hour. Was surprised it was mainly filled with very older crowd. Order a bourbon on the rocks, and as I was drinking it a piece of plastic enters my mouth. The bartender believed it was from a piece of wrapper from a bottle. How the heck did that get in my drink?! She was very apologetic and nice about it and didn’t charge me for the drink. In hindsight, I feel like more should have been done. I had to pull this disgusting dirty plastic out of my mouth. I was nervous to even stay and order more drinks or food. I did get a couple happy hour items and didn’t have issues with those but I definitely do not plan on returning after this experience which was my first.

Great place for brunch, or lunch, many selection of beers and bbq pork is the greatest!
