Our dinner is ruined, it was so awfull tasting. The pork fried rice had a strange smell to it dried pork. The sesame chicken had too much bread and was socked in sauce and mushy. The General tsos chicken was so bland along with to much bread also. I’ve never had such horrible Chinese food before. I spent 65 dollars and we still had to go buy more food for diner l.

I just moved to Connecticut a month ago with my bf and I will definitely not be ordering from here again. We ordered a pupu platter for 4 and pork fried rice, one we were given someone else’s order and two they 100% messed up because when we went to pick it up they gave us the same order one pupu platter with the pork fried rice we didn’t order one. So at the point I was pissed off. This was the first time ordering and they messed up . I won’t be ordering from here for a while I know mistakes happen but that’s ridiculous

We had 2 delicious combo dinners... The vegetables and egg rolls we're fresh and crisp... Great food at a great value!

Wow, this is the best Chinese food I have found in the area. Food was hot and fresh and they use quality ingredients. The shrimp stir fried with vegetables in kung pao sauce were really fresh and perfectly cooked and the vegetables were still crispy. The crunchy water chestnuts were a nice touch. They don't use heavy gloopy sauces. The hot and sour soup was also a pleasant surprise. It was perfectly balanced with vinegar and some heat from chilis and had lots of fresh mushrooms and shredded bamboo shoots. Most of their business seems to be take-out. Don't be dissuaded by the appearances from the outside. We tried four different dishes and they were all hits. I will definitely be back!

This place is our go to for Chinese food. I never feel guilty eating it because it’s never overdone with oil or sauce. Everything is perfectly cooked every time.

This is fantastic Chinese food. The owners use fresh ingredients and you can taste the difference. There is traditional Chinese food and local favorites. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Connecticut. It reminds me of Flushing Chinatown in New York.

Drive by here twice a week - read reviews and wanted to try them. So glad I did. The food was delicious! The lemon sauce for the chicken came separately in a container - plenty of sauce! I liked that the chicken stayed crispy without soggy sauce by the time I arrived home. Generous portions, not at all salty. Cold sesame noodles were also excellent. My new favorite go-to. Highest recommendation from me.

You wouldn't believe how hard working everyone is in that kitchen, especially the woman in front! So kind and professional! Food is great!

The worst general tso chicken I’ve ever had. Doesn’t smell, look or taste like general tso chicken. I just tried this place for the first and last time.

This is definitely the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. We’ve done take out three times now (no indoor eating yet and still require masks to go in..thank you for doing this). Between the visits, I had the peanut sesame noodles which were amazing, the broccoli and garlic sauce, and the veggie dumplings. Husband had pupu platter for two, ribs, and pork something. We both loved our food.

I came back here for lunch. Due to covid, they do not have indoor tables for dining, strictly take out for the time being. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special ($6.80) which included pork fried rice and a soup. It was ready in 15 minutes. I chose the Wonton soup which had three large wontons in it. The Kung Pao chicken had plenty of veggies, peanuts, and chicken in it. I wish it was a little spicier than what I had. I prefer Szechuan heat and this was pretty tame though. The pork fried rice was vey good. Overall, a good meal.

Healthy Food Chinese Kitchen has consistently delicious food, always ready in 10-15 minutes! My favorites are Pepper Steak w/Onion, their Chicken Rice Soup, Sesame Chicken, Beef Lo Mein...

Truely the best Chinese food in the area. Their Hot and Sour soup is the best I have ever had. This is one of those small gems that you want to keep for yourself

A small eat-in area. I had “double cooked pork”, which was made with roast pork. For me it’s a different dish, but was not too bad. Roast pork was tasty. I would come back and try a different dish the next time.

Good Chinese food. They make it how you request. We always are happy with it. People are nice too.

Personal Favorite Chinese place in town. Under new ownership so the food is actually more healthy. When they give you a time for you order to be ready they mean it even during their dinner rushes. Their lunch combos are extremely cheap and very filling.

The food is good and orders are completed quickly. I've only eaten here 2 or 3 times so I can't yet say it's the best chinese around, but it's definitely one of the better ones.

Consistently amazing. A Monroe Monument. Despite being busy (because they’re successful), they manage to offer very friendly service and perfectly cooked dishes (especially shrimp). Vegetables are always fresh and seasoning is well balanced. Exceptional staff. It’s like watching a ballet!

I came here for lunch. They have a few tables inside in addition to take out. I ordered shrimp and broccoli ($7.25) with won ton soup. It was ready in just five minutes. I thought it was a good meal with shrimp, broccoli, and fried rice. It was tasty and filling. The soup was good as well.

The food was absolutely delicious! I live on the other side of town and was referred to this place by a friend- so worth driving across town for! Hands down the best Chinese food I have ever had! You can taste the difference in quality and healthiness. The location itself was very clean! Will be ordering from here from now on!

A small place hidden away in a strip mall with lots of places to eat. Good prices and the food tasted nice, hot and tasty. Recommend their meals as the lunches are well priced.

Not just a name, they actually use noticeably fresh ingredients. I studied in Chengdu, China for 11 weeks (kind of a culinary mecca) and while the food is not from that region, it's the closest I've had to real and quality Chinese in the u.s. in quite some time!

Lived in Fairfield County for 25 years, eaten Chinese food from Stamford, to Ridgefield, to Westport... this is the best. I can't guarantee that it's healthy, but it's very, very tasty.

The new owners are off to a great start. If you order the spicy hot dishes the new cooks will give you a run for the money on taste. There is no public bathroom and minimal seating so I consider it primarily as a take-out restaurant. The food is better than most Chinese restaurants in the area.

We live in a relatively small town with at least 5 Asian restaurants! Healthy food is our favorite. Not the right place if you are looking for a sit down meal with table service but perfect if you want great food, with good sized portions at a reasonable price. Embarrassingly it got to the point that the recognized my son by the order!

There are better and a lot worse and here you get nice food for a very reasonable price. Around here Asian is the second most populated restaurants and this is one of the nicer ones for food. Tables are small and basically unused. Most people buy and take home

This is my go to place in the Monroe/Trumbull area for Chinese take-out food. I don't mind driving 20 mins to pick up food from here knowing what I'm getting is fresh, tastes good and doesn't have msg in it. I can watch them prepare the food right in front of me. The cooks have been the same for the last few years. I never get thirsty after eating their food. To top it off the prices are very reasonable.
