Wife and I went there last night. Really good cocktails! And i mean really good. The owner is great too. Very personable and really passionate about his products. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure.

This is our favorite NJ distillery. Rich is very affable and makes great drinks. The vodka is clean, probably the best in the market--the jalapeño vodka definitely is the best. Old Peppy whiskey is delicious too. The room is cozy and clean, usually filled with easy-going, vodka-loving people. Bring your dinner and enjoy delicious cocktails and great conversation.

It's always a pleasure to visit local distilleries, especially ones that know how to craft a real cocktail. Although we only sampled two drinks, we can safely recommend Heathermeade (Tree City vodka) based on the high caliber drinks we ordered. We were delighted by the traditional Old Fashioned and by the Cucumber Cranberry vodka.

This place is great. High quality spirits. Cheap cocktails. Owner is very nice guy. Cant ask for more than that.

We’ve been here a handful of times. Originally wanted to check it out based on good reviews. And the reviews were right, this place is awesome! The drinks are well made, well priced, and the owner is fantastic. He was more than happy to help host a group of friends for a birthday party. The place is a hidden gem and I had to introduce more people to it because we love it! Five stars all around

Tree City is a great place to go. I highly recommend stopping here for a drink and grabbing a bottle to go.

I absolutely love this place! The vodka is incredibly high quality at a great value and the owner, Rich, is so nice, warm and welcoming! He has done an amazing job of creating a cocktail menu that appeals to all types of drinkers and I cannot at enough about the jalapeño vodka. You must try this place!

We rented out Heathermeade Distilling to celebrate my wife's birthday, and were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of the event. Needless to say, we will be going back and are looking to do another event in the near future. Service - This is perhaps one of the major highlights. Not only a top notch mixologist, Rich is an extremely personable and fun guy who everyone enjoyed talking to about his craft. Drinks - All of the drinks are freshly made from scratch, using their own Tree City vodka or their Old Pappy bourbon. The bourbon is apparently a relatively new offering and was very smooth. Drinks were very reasonably priced, with most cocktails around $5-6 and martinis for $7. Some of the crowd favorites were the John Daly, Spicy Pineapple, Bourbon Old Fashioned, and a variety of mules - vodka and bourbon based. Pineapple infused vodka shots were also a big hit. Venue - We had about 25-30 people and the venue was the perfect size for our group, but you could probably go to 40-50 without it feeling overly crowded. There are plenty of tables, lounge chairs, a bar (of course) and a dart board area. We brought in catering food for the party, which worked out well. Rich was very accommodative and let us spend a significant amount of time decorating and setting up before the party.

Have been to heathermeade several times now and recently came for a private event that was excellent thanks to his great service and even better cocktails. I got to try his new bourbon cocktails which were just as tasty as his amazing vodka cocktails. Being able to bring your own food or get it delivered is an added plus. Rich just goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Highly recommend coming to visit, have some cocktails, take more to-go or maybe a bottle, and definitely ask about his distilling process!

We stumbled upon a GEM in the Kenilworth area. Amazing cocktails, knowledgeable and super personable owner, Rich was a delight! There is no doubt we will be back!

Great local distillery owned by locals. They make great vodka. They have a tasting room and products for sale. Don't pass up an opportunity to taste this local treat.

Great time, great people, great drinks! Very smooth flavors and infusions. You don't need to be a strong vodka fan, they have lots of drinks that go down easy ... maybe too easy! There's water available if you need a break and lots of options. Rich will make anything you want. Order food and hang just like any of the local breweries. The tour is really interesting especially if you think vodka only comes from potatoes and corn only makes whiskey. There's a bonus course on hand sanitizer as well.

Rich, the owner, was able to deliver his hand sanitizer to one of our relatives who is unable to get out. He was great to work with and very accommodating. The next time we are in NJ, we will need to stop by the tasting room and enjoy his vodka! Thanks!

A wonderful distillery with a great product. I've never been a Vodka fan, but there's is excellent and has so many flavorful notes to it. Not to mention everyone that works there is a lovely person :)

Rich is awesome and super passionate about what he does and it shows in his Distillery. My friends and I had such a good night taste testing and touring. We will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Anazing vodka. Take a tour. Very infomative.

First, let's talk about the vodka. It's one of the smoothest vodka's I've tasted. There is a slight sweet finish and minimal burn. It has turned me into a vodka drinker. Very enjoyable straight over ice, as a simple drink with club and a lime, and also a delight in any mixed drink. While at the distillery, you can also get in-house made infusions. Some flavors rotate seasonally, along with seasonal cocktails made from the flavors. Offerings include pineapple, apple, blueberry, grape, cucumber mint, strawberry basil, orange peel, pear, cantaloupe, vanilla, jalepeno, etc. New flavors are always being experimented with. Now onto the owner, Rich. You can tell he is passionate and does this with his whole heart. He is a local from Cranford and uses Jersey corn for his vodka, and when possible, uses Jersey fruit for the infusions. The tour is extremely informative; I have yet to come up with a question that he didn't have an answer for. He is quite outgoing with a great sense of humor, which rounds out visiting this distillery in a great way and keeps you coming back for more. For my third point, let's talk about the atmosphere. There is a group of regulars that frequent the distillery, and I am happy to admit I have joined this crowd. They are all amazing people that I may have never had the opportunity to meet had it not been for this gem tucked in the warehouse district of Kenilworth. The ambiance is always positive - music playing, foosball table, trivia, cards - there is something for everyone. Another positive is many restaurants deliver so you never have to go hungry. Finally, the information for you to come and visit soon. Open to the public from 3-7/8pm on Wednesday and Thursday to stop in for a cocktail or so - spectacularly priced at $5 a drink. There are plans to open a third night in the near future. In the mean time, you can call and request a private tour and tasting. Rich is happy to work with you to create your own experience. Great vodka + Great company = Great place to be!

One of the best tastings I have been to. The vodka is excellent and the variations available in person are incredible. Highly recommend visiting them!
