very cool coffee shop downtown. if you are looking for a unique spot this is place. i didnt try the coffee but enjoyed my iced peach green tea. all of their signature drinks sound delicious so i would definitely go back to try. the decor is the best part. who knew a dinosaur cowboy theme could be so cool. not much seating inside but lots outside in the backyard.

I love to support this downtown gem ! Not only do they make outstanding beverages but the service is always so friendly, kind and helpful. Every single time... It is always consistent. My daughter loves the Matcha and it did not disappoint. I love the peppermint one. I'm not into sweet drinks and this one was the perfect balance ... just had today!!!

It's a nice place but I'm not standing in a line out the door for coffee. Where they prepare the coffee is too small. Coffee is very good but if there are too many people in that small space I want to leave. The garden upstairs is very cute. I won't go in the summer. Too many kids.

Gorgeous Coffee Spot! Barista’s are very kind and welcoming! The vibes are great! 10/10 Coffee! -Great atmosphere for you to come and get some work done but not feel trapped at the office! -Friendly Staff -Open but can still be a private space for an intimate meeting if needed. Relatively new coffee shop, but you would never know as the service and coffee are excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly and they were able to get drinks out quickly! The window where you pick up your drinks is a great feature to keep people from congregating around the counter. Love this place!

Loved this coffee shop! I order the minty matcha and it was perfect! The combo of mint and matcha gives such a refreshing taste. Highly recommend. The young gentleman working was really nice and friendly! Definitely great customer service and the outdoor seating was amazing.

I have never been to such a beautiful coffee shop in my life! The amount of detail that went into this place is incredible. Can not wait to spend my weekend mornings here. Wonderful environment and well crafted coffee. Highly recommend! Update: came back again after an impromptu vacation! Still top notch and somehow they got even BETTER than last time. 6/5 stars!

Absolutely AMAZED by this location and coffee. The owners really know how to craft quality drinks and experiences. Everyone contributed to the chill ambiance and made some bomb iced coffee! So many great Easter eggs and fun on theme details to catch and explore across the grounds👀 Went around the corner to one of the owner’s escape game locations on front street (The Exit Games) to work off some caffeine. Awesome escape rooms and will be back for to Hidden Grounds EVERY single morning for the vibes and caffeine while in town🦖🔒 Love everything these owners create!

It has potential but they truly don't care about people with specific needs such as sugar free options other than vanilla and caramel. Truly basic and not everyone can have that. The atmosphere is great but definitely not coming back. For what they charge they could surly add to get more sugar free options

The friendliest baristas I’ve ever met! Not to mention how much work they put in to make their drinks the best quality they can. They weigh out and time each espresso shot and only serve the perfect ones which ensures that every time you go the drink is just amazing as the last time. One of the coolest coffee shops that I have ever been to it is dinosaur themed. It has a beautiful landscaped backyard patio area. The names on the menu are hysterical and they all sound delicious. There was a line out the door, but it moved so fast that you won’t even notice. It’s also kid and pet friendly.

Had a coffee here with my toddler before going to the children’s museum this morning. Cant believe I haven’t been here yet! My boy is in his prime Dinosaur phase and was entertained the entire time. Outdoor space is awesome (dinos galore) and the coffee was great! Will be back on the reg forsure.

We took our new pup there to socialize and get her first pup cup , it’s super cute and fun . Crowded but great shaded spots to sit , the coffee was excellent and price was I felt was good! Very friendly staff . Not sure if they have capability to play music outside but it would go great with the dyno theme 😃

This place was so cool! Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn’t sit outside, but we did take a peek and it’s the perfect spot for a sunny day. Our cashier was so kind, and even though it was a little busy we got our drinks pretty quickly. Downstairs is a little squished but there is room to wait for your order.

The coffee is consistently delicious. The staff is always genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is so unique, I don't know why you'd want to sit anywhere else to relax and have the BEST CUP OF COFFEE!

My wife and I discovered Hidden Grounds on Instagram and had to come here when we were in Wilmington. The coffee here was amazing and we were so glad we came here! The inside was so well put together for such a limited space. The decor is very nice too. The back patio is mainly all the seating and it was the coolest thing we’ve ever seen for a coffee shop. We loved how clean and nice it was here. Customer service was great and it’s even better here since we could bring our dog as they’re dog friendly! They also have cool merch so I definitely got a tshirt for sure! We will definitely come back here again when we are in Wilmington.

My first time at Hidden Grounds on March 10th, and I can say nothing but good things! Top notch. I ordered an iced, mocha latte made breve, no whip, and it was perfect! The line was long but moved fast and efficiently. (A long line in a coffee shop is a great thing, I think! It shows it must be worth the wait!) I could continue on but my absolute favorite thing was that all four baristas individually spoke to me, as I moved along waiting in line before I made it to the register to order and asked how I was regardless of how long that line was. That is the most impressive thing of all. Beyond impressed with this business. It was on my list to visit while I was in Wilmington and it couldn’t have been a better first impression. I will return!

This place is absolutely adorable! I got the iced shaken Salty Dino and it is the most delicious drink! Coffee is outstanding!! Not only is the atmosphere beautifully designed, they even had small Dino’s and gave one to my 3 year old nephew! A must go if you’re in the downtown area!

This place is so cute, I love the dinosaur theme, and the staff is so friendly. I got the salted caramel shaken espresso and it was so good. My husband's roasted marshmallow coffee was also very good and had a cute toasted marshmallow on it. The back porch is perfect for working, and there's a paid parking lot right across the street.

We loved the outdoor space – a terraced courtyard with comfy seating, great for warm nights and fitted with outdoor heaters for cooler days. It's a hidden escape from the crowds.
