Went for Bingo and it was a good time.

This bar is the classiest that you will find in 15 miles! The bartenders are fantastic. Super friendly and they truly care about each and every patron. The owner must have rigged the system because for a bar out in the middle of nowhere, it’s ran like a 5 star resort! Go check this place out. You will absolutely not regret it!

Extremely loud patrons yelling over the music and slamming glasses on the bar as hard as they could. Several patrons left. So did we.

First time there.....service was 'meh', nothing that stood out as extraordinary. Food (breakfast items) was pricey for what it was, in my opinion. Never given napkins when our food came.

The 5 stars are for the bartenders, mainly. Shout out to Tamara (but just don't fk with her tho). Aight bye! 😜

Listen to "I Love This Bar" by Toby Keith. This is that kind of bar. It's a spot for locals but welcomes anyone who wants to drop by for a visit. You can shoot some pool, throw some darts or if your lucky catch one of their unique events and enjoy rural central Florida culture.

Haven't been there in years! They are awesome for celebrating life of a co worker or a family member! We will miss Nappy! She made the bar what it is!

If you're not friends with any of the regulars it may take a bit to become initiated. But once you are, this place treats you quite well.

Always wondered what this place was like inside. I was pleasantly surprised. Fully stocked bar. Friendly bartenders. They have a touchtunes so you can play whatever music you want. There is a pool table and ample seating. Prices are good. My only complaint is that they feel like they need to plaster the ceiling with political messages which is weird.

Surprisingly good food a great service as long as you are not rude. 10/10 will go again

This place is truly something special. The food is absolutely delicious, the onion rings, the pulled pork, the CHICKEN FINGERS!!!!! I never thought chicken fingers could be otherworldly but I have been proven very wrong. Some of the best food and service I have ever experienced. RUN don’t walk to the hitching post for all your lunch and dinner needs.

My husband and I were at a campsite at lake mills Park for a week, stopped in the first day grabbed a bite to eat and a few beers. Service was RUDE! Like us being there was just unwelcoming. Tried it again spend $80 this time the bartender Kara was great. Stopped in again.. The bartender screamed at us for going the wrong was in to sit. The people that go there are mostly locals, if you aren't one is like your money has no value there. We will never go there again.

Was like a scene out of footloose . Covid was the least of the things I worried about catching. There was no balance between men in flip flops vs cowboy boots. I'd rather get root canal than set foot in there again !

This is a cool little place out in the boonies. It was open on Christmas day so we stopped in while riding by. The bar is cozy and the drinks were served by a very pleasant bar tender. Pool tables are inside and smoking is allowed, so it was that vibe going on.

Just what you would expect of the local dive. Great bar food. 50/50 service. Sabrina and Ally are the BEST! Tamara, well everyone knows about her service.

I’ve visited before, but figured it give it a second go just to get a better feel for the place. Hitching Post definitely has a very specific clientele, while also taking advantage of being a within the greater Orlando area. The prices and service are what I’d expect from somewhere in downtown Orlando, but this location is far away enough that I assumed it would’ve been the opposite. I made a poor assumption. Hitching Post focuses heavily on bottled beer and cocktails. If you’re interested in getting draft beer, you’re in the wrong place. I ordered a Budweiser and was given a cup that can hold about 10 ounces. I can’t tell you the last time I willingly paid 3 dollars for 10 ounces of the most average beer in America. Hitching Post has two pool tables that are on par with APA standards, as well as multiple dart cabinets. There are several wide screen TVs that they can play sports on. There is also a TouchTunes “jukebox” inside. For those unfamiliar, you can play music from a wide array of music options, and there is an app available that lets you select songs remotely. Very cool. The bartenders were very busy, and as a result were quite lacking in customer service. I’ve gotten drinks faster in packed nightclubs. I will say that it’s bewildering, but also impressive, that such a place was as packed as this on...a Tuesday night? I really am not sure if the dedicated clientele is passionate about their attendance because of the fact that this is the only bar consistently open until 2am for dozens of miles, or if because they really appreciate the prices and service. I’m going to go with the former. I feel that Hitching Post really capitalises on the “rural” vibe that the area attempts to project, but while at the same time pricing things on the same level as that of a bar in Downtown Orlando. It’s a great place if you’re into wells cocktails and bottled beer.

Hole in the wall. Not for everyone, this is more a local residents watering hole.. Occasionally has interesting random live events like midget wrestling.

With Ally, Taylor, Frankie, and Tamra slinging the drinks I always have a great time here. Nothing beats the local hole in the wall feel I get every time I walk in and greeted with the home feel. Love this place, if you haven't been here yet you need to at least visit.

We are on vacation and someone suggested this place. Met some pretty cool locals and the bartender was great! Some drunk chic randomly walked in and started screaming profanities and trying to start a fight with just about anyone within reach (later found out she also works there, I sure hope the owners won’t tolerate that kind of behavior!) and the employees handled it very well. Other than that, it was a great time!

Thought this bar was cool the first few times we went there...until I won a $500 pull tab that they said they couldn't pay out until tomorrow when the guy shows up, then all of a sudden we were offered $450 for it so we wouldn't have to come back tomorrow and wow can you believe it all of a sudden they had the money! Needless to say, we will never go back!!!!

It's a cheap dive bar, you get what you expect. Staff is friendly. Food is pretty limited. Budget friendly for sure.
