I love this place. Sweet little locals spot with indoor/outdoor seating. Pizza is great and beer on draught. Some arcade games to play and good music.

This place is good even by my standards and I'm from Illinois so I'm pretty spoiled

New gentleman has horrible customer service. I have been coming to this restaurant for over a year and have had nothing but good experiences. Very disappointed. It’s unfortunate that I voted for you for local choice. Extremely glad you didn’t win. Will not be coming back.

Best pizza on earth. Thin crust square cut wood fired. Heaven in your mouth, no exaggeration. Better than any food in Aspen. I lived here 2.5 years ago and still dream about this place. I compare everything I’ve tried since then to this place and nothing compares. The best pizza I’ve found in the world. Beats everything I tried living in Seattle Denver and MPLS. My wife and I move back in FEB and the first thing we are doing is grabbing a supreme thin crust pizza from you all and devour it in the parking lot! We literally time of summer hiking trips around your hours so we can stop to and from and grab a pie. I’m not a business owner but I’ve half jokingly told my wife if we ever do want to own one, I’d ask the owner about franchise opportunities because pizza recipe they got is gold Jerry, GOLD! See you soon!

A lot of people recommended this place, so we got a pizza to go to give it a try along with some garlic bread. The garlic bread was tasty, but this rating is mostly based on the pizza not being that good. The crust was cardboardy and very thin. Almost like a gluten free crust, but wasn’t supposed to be. The flavors were not very good. My family found it to be okay… Overall pretty meh, and doubt we’ll come back, but maybe it was just an off day

Good pizza, good people, good time... Make good memories! You won't be disappointed. They have multiple options but, Their crust is thin crust which typically isn't my favorite but it really works well with their sauce and toppings. I almost forgot the pig knuckles! Don't you, you won't have to thank me you'll be eating. Extra two thumbs for those bad boys

We noticed that we were driving through Garfield County on the Interstate 90. So we, decided to look for the best Lasagna in the county. Google came up with this suggestion. We were disappointed as they did not have Lasagna on the menu. We desperately tried the Hogknuckles and the pizza. It was definitely the best we had in Colorado. The place is lovely. The music is great. The team is doing awesome work and are very nice.

Quite possibly some of the best pizza I have had. The staff is always kind , service is prompt and cool music always playing. My family and I love the out door seating and the pin ball! Hight recommended!

It’s pretty good pizza but not really dog friendly. Even if you are outside. A bit disappointed with that so we did to go. The business says they are “extremely friendly to dogs” in my opinion that is disingenuous at best as dogs are NOT allowed at all on premises and the spot reserved for them is on the public sidewalk. They are literally doing the bare minimum IMO.

Would have loved some ice with my water but it was unavailable? Servers could have been friendlier, but the food was great!

Awesome locally owned pizza joint. Nice decor, good atmosphere. The owners and employees are always good to chat with and are on their game. The food is fantastic. I drive through New Castle every few weeks and make a stop at Hogback whenever I can.

The service is quick and friendly. The pizza is by far the best. The little cubbies are a must for the family as well. Beer choices are always excellent.

I am a local and I just love this place, this staff and the pizza. When I worked out of town during the week, I loved going to Hogback, grabbing a pizza and beer and feeling like I was “home”. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff always makes you feel welcome. The pizza is delicious, as is everything we have ordered from Hogback. And, our beloved doggo knows when we say “pizza party” we are grabbing one to go and finding a fun place to picnic with her, where she patiently awaits bits of crust. Thanks for being such a wonderful part of our community Hogback! We appreciate you!

Absolutely love there pies here, great service. And plenty of specialty pies to choose from. Don't forget there deep dish pies too. And I always get their hog knuckles, there to die for. All the years I've eaten here never have had a bad meal.

Out of all the restaurants in New Castle Co on a Friday afternoon, Hogback Pizza was open and they delivered! I enjoyed a fresh slice of their Twiggy pizza which had artichokes, olives, peppers, and mushrooms on it and it was sooo good! I am pregnant at the moment so I'm not drinking alcohol so I like to indulge in a non alcoholic beer wherever I go out to eat and they just started carrying Gruvi N/A and it was a refreshing choice to have with The Twiggy :) You can't go wrong with this place or anything you order! Enjoy!

Found this place purely by accident . Pizzas are terrific.

There pizza is so good! Super friendly staff. The only thing I was bummed about was how they sliced the pizza. I personally like a traditional pie cut. This was cut into squares and made it messy and hard to pick up. Besides that it was a delicious pizza. The sausage is gluten free and really good. Thank you!

Good God I didn't try the pizza but the Italian sub was frickin BOMB. Ever since moving out of Brooklyn it's always so nice to find a delicious sandwich!!!

Pizza was under-cooked. When they sell by the slice, they take an already baked cheese slice, and then add toppings, so that the added topping do not get fully cooked

We stayed in Silt and this came recommended on the pamphlet in our AirBnB. They have pinball machines to kill time during the short wait for your food and the pizza was delicious! So many options and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful as it was our first time going.

This pizza is absolutely amazing!! We’re staying outside of New Castle for less than a week & have eaten here twice. The best pizza I’ve ever had….& I’m not that much of a pizza fan. Don’t miss this excellent restaurant!!

Very chill and laid back place with lots of outdoor space. Loved the use of rubber ducky-like toys as the order identifiers. The cheesy garlic bread, pizza and calzones were delicious!

They told us on the phone that dogs are allowed on the patio so we drove all the way to this place. When we arrived there was no one that we could talk to. After we went to the patio two guys that worked there were super rude and told us to leave and that there are no dogs allowed. The fact that they were super rude was not ok and they didn't even apologize for the miscommunication!

This place was bomb and was the best place for our first night of vaca! We had a calzone and a large pep along with the hog knuckles! Lastly the staff was awesome and super nice/accommodating! Can’t speak high enough!

We have been going to hogbacks for years. Yesterday was the worst service and food we have ever had! You can't complain to anyone cause they clearly don't care. Really sad people in this community don't have many options for food, they know that so why care if you make a customer unhappy.

Been coming here for years. Always consistently yummy and fabulous service. The staff is always kind, patient and gracious and the order is always spot on. Plus the prices are wholly fair.

This was a great find on our way back to California from Lincoln Nebraska. We loved the atmosphere, the staff was friendly, and the place is decorated really neat! We split the Italian sandwich and then we each had a slice of pizza. Both were off the hook good!! What a great little mountain town!

This place definitely has a backyard BBQ feel to it. The staff are comfortable and very friendly. They only had outdoor seating under a tent right now so if you're staying, be aware of the weather. The Pizza is great. Their style reminds me of Beau Jo's. The cheesy breadsticks are also popular. I would compare them to Pizza Huts, except you can tell Hogback's ingredients are really fresh. my only issue is that the tables are wobbly and we spilled our drinks several times when another table's dog kept bumping into our table. One time our whole pizza almost fell off. It's was a weird situation because the staff (understandably) didn't want a scene and the other party was just trying to ignore the situation. I love dogs, but for crying out loud, please keep an eye on your pet. Pretty frustrating.

I have never left a review before- however The pizza at this place was so amazing that I felt I must leave my opinion. Their crust is something to behold. Seriously would drive a long way just to eat their food... It’s one of a kind

Pizzas were good. Walked up to a dude taking a leak on an exterior wall - when you gotta go, you gotta go, I just hope it wasn't an employee who was gonna handle anyone's pizza. The staff is pretty cool. The order was reasonably priced.

It's good pizza and the people are nice! But it is a bit overpriced. Being severely gluten-intolerant, I'm so glad that they have gluten free pizza available! But at $22 + tip for a 10" gluten free cracker crust that is barely enough for one meal for one person, I can't justify the expense more than once or twice a year.

Excellent thick pizza. About as close To Chicago deep dish that you can get. The thin pizza is equally as good and the salads were amazing!

Came in based on a local recommendation and was glad I did. Pizza is tossed and made right in front of you and the atmosphere of the place was perfect for a few friends to hang out and eat some delicious pizza.

Awesome service and memorable food

Quirky place with excellent pizza. Noisy. The sign reads a maximum of 100 people but most is outside patio. Probably 25 max inside including the 8 bar stools. Can feel crowded with people also picking up carryout inside. Many locals including children. $3 cheese pizza slice + 50 cents for added ingredient is a great deal -- huge slice plenty for a meal. Try the HogKnuckles if you like Pepperoni. Good salads, too, although small. Several beers on tap. AND 2 working pinball machines 😊
