The food was Delicious! and the staff was Amazing!

If you like the home town little restaurant style places to eat, then this is the place.

My husband and i stumbled on Homeslice by chance while traveling to TN. Now, My family and I stop to eat here anytime we are traveling through and love to bring friends. Great staff. Great food. The beans and cornbread platter is my favorite. Feels like Sunday dinner at mawmaw's house! We love it.

Nice little place to grab a bite Tonight's dinner was a half pound pulled pork sandwich with a side of pinto beans! Like my grandpa used to say..."if I'd of put that bowl of beans on my head, my tongue would have beat my brains out trying to get to 'em!" 2 different times eating there, 2 different thumbs up!

We are new to the area. We stopped in for a late lunch. The menu covers all the bases! They have a little of everything, including dessert! We ordered hot dogs because we didn't want anything super heavy since dinner was so close. The food was good, the service was good, and the atmosphere was great! We will definitely be back.

Don't order food cause no matter how bad it is your stuck with it. Never again. Not kid friendly and no kid menu. Only thing keeping this alive is the older people. Nastiest food I ever ate and prices are way to high. The Philly is like chewing tar.

Everything was good - except ants crawling on table and on my back

We love this place. Always feel at home. Awesome food, Awesome atmosphere, Awesome service. Had brunch on the porch. It's hard to find a place that fires on all cylinders consistently. These ladies do every time.

I had a delicious Bacon Cheeseburger and some Fries. It was good and the price wasn't too bad. I would definitely stop here on my way home and pick up some dinner for the family after work.

Home Slice is the greatest diner in SW VA. The waitresses will call you honey, sugar, baby, or any combination of the three. The food is comfort food at its finest (biscuits and gravy are wonderful) and there's lots of old ads and posters on the walls. I love this place. My waistline, not so much. 😁 I haven't had any of their ice cream but it looks great too!

We stopped here for food and loved it so much we came back for another meal before our vacation was up. Day 1, my wife had the ham and beans with cornbread and it was stellar. I had the country fried chicken with mashed taters and some onion rings and it was pretty dang tasty. Day 2, my wife had a chili dog with tater tots and coleslaw and she loved it. I had the special (vegetable beef soup) with a grilled cheese. Amazing! If you're in town be sure to stop by and get some really great food. P.s. Don't sleep on the pecan pie. It was 10/10

This restaurant is phenomenal! The food was delicious and was prepared astonishingly fast. I could tell whomever prepared the food cared about the quality and taste. The service staff were super friendly and attentive. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

GREAT food, great atmosphere and super friendly staff. owner comes out to check on things - you can tell he cares. I have the French Toast when I go and love it, but each of my family members all have their faves and each love them just as much.

We stopped in at this little diner while spending the day in Abingdon celebrating my sister's birthday. What an amazing little place!! The decor is wonderful!! Too much memorabilia to take it all in & the food was delicious. I had their meatloaf platter & they even customized a breakfast plate for my sister. Our server was fantastic!! Great experience.

We enjoy stopping in here for breakfast from time to time. They have a breakfast dish here called Southern Comfort which is absolutely delicious. We so enjoy Rosie the waitress here and Lisa who does the cooking. Truly a slice of home experience each and every time the two of them are working.

My wife says they have the best hamburger in the Tri-Cities area and they have very good service there too. The prices are good as well.

The food here is very good. Nice sized portions at a reasonable price. Their biscuits are big and soft. The only downside is that it is very small, so not a good place for large groups.

We just recently bought an old cabin in Abingdon, Home Slice is like 3 minutes from it. Im so happy it is. Amazing food and service, it's a must every time we come to Abingdon to work on our cabin. Try the apple pie 🥧 it comes warm with a scoop of ice cream 🍦. It was wonderful 😋

An honest to goodness American diner. American/country food at it's very, very best. Be sure to try the Philly Cheesesteak with all the fixins and the best Fish and Chips I've had yet.
