You know those places that have great food? Well, you found it, so good the staff knows they don't have to "go the extra mile" well, again you found it. The proof is in the pudding, they opened another location literally next door. Meaning they don't have to earn your business. That's cool, good luck...

The pizza was fantastic and the staff did a great job of keeping people moving.

Definitely a must try pizza joint! DEFINITELY NY STYLE PIZZA 🍕-thin crust, crispy, semolina flour. Yummmm Classic cheese and Veggie were very good with extra basil ❤️ They have beer and wine. The place is busy. It’s a bit pricey but worth it!

Great Place to have ny Style pizza Like it has to be

A staple of the town for a reason; insanely high quality customer service. Personally not super into the pizza, but the rest of the food is perfect. Italian sub is to die for, so is the turkey, the fresh made bread every day just makes it work so well. Calzones are delicious. Cheesecake is a dream. Caesar salad has a lemon twist that is delectable. Hot subs are great too, just typing this makes me want a meatball… and the garlic knots, suspiciously delicious.

The pizza is incredible, you can’t go wrong with it. However I cannot recommend the Italian Sub enough. The 6” is a very hefty portion and for less than $13 it’s a total bargain. Will gladly be returning in the future on my lunch breaks.

A great local place with a cool story. We opted for the meatball sandwich which was delicious. Homemade bread was perfect.

Good, slightly old school vibe. Reminiscent of a joint from NYC, or at least what I would assume. Prices are a bit steep for a slice, but quality was great and service was efficient. Can become very crowded on weekends, but it's always nice to support local businesses that supply the goods. 4.5/5

Came in at a decent time host gave us our menus and sat us down waited 15 and no one ever came to service us.

Really nice Italian Submarine Sandwich. Ultra-thinly sliced iceberg lettuce. Excellent bread with lots of delicately nutty crunchy toasted sesame seeds on top. Hot pickled cherry peppers are spot on. I’ll ask for a little less mayo next time. Got a large sub cut in half which made for 2 nice full meals, taking the other half home. The large is a really huge sandwich just like it’s supposed to be. Other places like Grata’s pizzeria and a few others can run pretty small. All in all HomeSlice has by far the best Italian Sub in South Austin. Staff is super friendly and welcoming to everyone. Blair was awesome with all the right recommendations. Music and vibe are great. Parking all up and down the street. Patio out back looked great, but it’s August so we stayed inside.

Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here, safe waiting along time for a table on a busy night. Homeslice is always consistent and always on a top list for me and my wife, a pizza enthusiast from New Jersey..

I now know why they have about 10K reviews. Pepperoni was so good. Crisp crust not too soft, perfect.

unpopular opinion but not worth the hype, it’s a great standard pizza, but i’ve had significantly better in atx, it always smelled so good when i’ve passed it, but was underwhelming when i tried it, maybe their other options are better! may just be a preference thing too

I’m an unrepentant Pizza Junkie. The pie here is pretty darn good. The service, my waitress ; Gabriella , made my meal even better. Great service and very nice personality… you won’t be disappointed if you love Pizza with Home Slice.

Ordered a couple of Margherita pizza slices and a Cola. Great ambience on a Saturday late evening and superb taste. I am definitely coming back! PS: sorry no pictures, as I was too hungry to wait :)

You’re greeted at the door by friendly hosts and can instantly see the pizza dough being shaped, flung, and sauced. Kyle is the most attentive and considerate bartender I’ve ever encountered. While expertly pouring the perfect foam-capped beer, she’ll letcha know the daily slices with ease. 10/10 try the Vatican if ya want the only off menu item and are willing to wait half an hour for your food. EXCELLENT! I loved how thin the crust was, allowing the pizza toppings to shine. So delicious. And even though the garlic knots are just bread... they tasted more like a savory dessert. The greek salad was very good, especially because it was well chilled. The service was good and the food came out quickly. My only complaint is how loud it was inside. I couldn't even hear our server.

We have eaten here many times but the last time we did, my whole family got so sick. Not just one of us, but all of us so I know it has to be the pizza we ate. We ordered veggie pizza and pepperoni so I’m not sure which one or if both caused it since we all shared. It’s unfortunate because we liked coming here but after getting sick, we will be trying another pizza place.

This is where you want to come get pizza in Austin. Seated quickly, great service from the staff, and the food tastes great. The pizza is delicious, some of the best crust I've ever had, but the real star of the show is the Italian sub sandwich.

The food is really good in my opinion, but the last two times I’ve eaten here I’ve gotten food poisoning and ended up puking a bunch, anyone else? I’m just curious to see if it’s something wrong with me or with the food or what.

I didn't think it was anything special. Pizza was less than average and water tasted like a swamp.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Been coming for years now and it remains some of my favorite pizza in Texas.

Such a cool vibe this place has going on!!! Pizza was to die for!! We had the white pie added sausage and a pepperoni and sausage add mozzarella!!!! Not to mention they gave the kiddos dough to play with while they waited!!!

This place is a vibe 🤩. My family and I visited on a Tuesday night and it was pretty full. The menu selection is mostly pizza, salad, appetizers, and calzones. No pasta dishes. There is no kids menu available. But if you have children dining in with you, they do offer the children free pizza dough to play with as they wait for the food, which was awesome! The piece of slices are large. You will have to check in periodically as they do not serve pizza by the slice continually just at certain times throughout the day. For a party of six or more, gratuity is included in the check.

Excellent pizza! Fresh, hot, and great tasting. Would recommend. Not a fan of the Austin grimy vibe, but it’s to be expected. Service was good. The wait was very long, even at 11:00pm. Cool McLaren out front lol.

If you're in Austin, please go here! The NY style pizza was INSANELY good, and every bite was heaven. The Mexican coke was so refreshing. I do reccomend getting a whole pie over a single slice, though. Enjoy, cause this place is INSANE!

Two large pizza's for 4 people. We were only able to eat one and took the other to go. The Margerita pizza was good if you like your pizza a little bland. The pepperoni was very salty and I could only eat one slice. Greek salad was good! The wait to be seated was quite long but then it was a 4th of July holiday weekend. It's a popular place on Congress for the college students. You can be seated indoors or outdoors. Your choice! Oops! I forgot to take picture of the pizzas! I had to grab a piece when it was served and forgot! They were very inviting....

We had the meat calzone which was ok. Lots of ricotta. Mostly full of air with a giant hole in the top of it where the dough broke. Tiramisu tasted like it wasn't fresh. Lady fingers were very soggy. I'd recommend ordering at the window outside, it's faster than inside. I liked that they offered water while we waited.

While I cannot speak to the pizza served here, I can say the Italian sub and Greek salad are phenomenal! If you cannot handle the smell of garlic, you might want to request outside seating. The whole restaurant has the heavenly aroma of garlic and baking bread! Definitely worth checking out.

Some of the best pizzas in town. Their crust is very good. It's one pizza place where the next bite is better. They have a selection of pizzas and subs. Service is quite good. 4/5 for food and service. They could work on cleaning the restrooms, though.

Grew up walking to homeslice multiple times a week! As an adult I now bring my spouse and kids here and we absolutely love it! Recently we had a large pizza delivered that was supposed to be light sauce we received a pizza with extra extra sauce. We called the store and they remade it no problem! We were very pleased with their customer service! Loyal fan for life!!!!
