Wow!!! What a gem! Here in small town Gentry sits a deli and whole foods type shop that is as good as any deli in America. Outstanding!

This place is great. Order a sandwich from the back as soon as you get there and they will prepare it while you shop! They have chips, drinks, tons of sweets, snacks, and baked goods. You can even buy your baking supplies in bulk here! The vibe is great, it’s decorated so adorable. There is seating inside or out front. The sandwiches we ordered were sooooo good! We can’t wait to return!

We love Honey Wheat. Everything is fresh! Sandwiches are our favorite and the desserts are delicious. We are always telling our friends to come check out Honey Wheat!

This place is AMAZING. Best deli sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I’ve been here 5 times since we found it. They also have excellent salads and their baked goods are worth a try. The staff is so friendly and they are so fast! The store is kept clean and tidy, and the sitting area at the front is a great place to enjoy your lunch. You will not be disappointed!

The best deli ever, absolutely nothing compares to their bread or aioli. (Coming from a New Yorker). Their new location is packed with canned and dry goods that you’ll want to take home.

I recently started working in Gentry and the first place recommended to me was Honeywheat. This is a charming little spot with lots of sandwich options, as well as salads and soup. I went with a fairly basic sandwich and was absolutely delighted with how delicious it was, especially the bread. In addition to being able to stop in here for a bite to eat for lunch (they also have a drive-thru) you can get loaves of bread or fresh deli meats and cheeses. They have local honey and an eclectic drink fridge. I found the Blueberry Lavender soda to be absolutely delightful! It is light and refreshing, with a lot of fizz. I am sure I will be back here again soon to try something new. My only critique would be the tables and chairs for eating. The table I sat at was so unsteady that it started to tip when I set my hands down. Other than that, it's a lovely atmosphere!

The best local bakery and sandwiches

We went in for coffee and pastries. We were a little but disappointed that they only had regular coffee but the pastries we had were delicious. They also had a good variety of teas and the prices were very reasonable!

Love love this place! The bread is fresh baked and fantastic, meats and cheeses great quality and the cookies are exactly as a cookie should be! I usually get a cajun turkey sandwich with a molasses cookie! I could go every day!

Stopped through to grab a sandwich and coffee. The sandwiches were so delicious and priced great. They only serve black coffee so I grabbed a cold root beer. Service was great and atmosphere very nice. There were only three tables inside but they had additional seating outside and we took ours to go. Worth a stop for some yummy sandwiches!

This place is AMAZING!! The sandwiches are on homemade bread and almost too much to eat at one time. And the desserts!! The only downside is limited seating but there is take-out and drive through. I would highly recommend this little sandwich shop

Stopped by on their first day and was thoroughly impressed. I got a sandwich on the Italian herb bread and it was fantastic, I also got a chocolate chip cookie which had just the right amount of chewy and was topped with some sea salt to cut the sweetness just a little bit. The meat and cheese in the deli counter looked great and all of the breads smell delicious. I will definitely be back to try something else and to get a loaf of fresh bread.

Wonderful little Deli and Bakery! Very cozy environment with an array of baked goods, handmade sandwiches to order and meats, cheeses and breads for purchase. Cinnamon rolls look wonderful and the brownies are made in different varieties. The customer service was excellent and above par. Fresh ingredients and a very fair price. Give Honey Wheat Bakery Deli a try. You won’t be disappointed.
