The food smelled better than it tasted. It’s always alarming with the rice is mushy. Over cooked. My son ate his dumplings very slowly, which never happens. Egg rolls were okay, my husband said his moo shu pancakes tasted odd. My sesame chicken tasted like a watered down version.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered a Hunan Roast Pork Dinner Special. Slight kick to the food but decent overall. The sliced pork seems to be cooked separately and then just added to the different dishes with the sauce and other ingredients. Service: 4/5 - English wasn't the cashier's primary language so she did sound a bit rude but it was very efficient service and to the point! Ambiance: n/a - only available for to go orders. The chairs are placed on top of the tables so it's not welcoming customers to sit. The wallpapers are peeling and decorations are faded. The bathrooms have a sign that says out of order but one of the workers used it while I was waiting for our food. Value for price: 4/5 - decent food, quick service, reasonable price. Note there is a higher cost to use credit card.

Food was very good. There was a line to place an order but that wasn't bad or a 15 min wait to get the food. The bad part was it was 20 degrees that night and I think it was warmer outside than in the building I don't think they had the heat on at all.

Closest thing I can find to the nyc style bbq spare ribs from the Bronx borough. Amazing food.

I've ate here on/off for 10+ years and never had a bad experience with the food or service. Huge portions. The female employee that takes the orders has always been pleasant to deal with.

Best Chinese food around wish they had dine in

Burnt chicken, they will tell you that that's the color of it but color or not it looks and tastes burnt. They don't do refunds and it's just awful. I've eaten here a couple of times and this is my first review and my last. Worst chinese In princeton. Go to peking house. Nothing burnt there. I didn't get a refund and honestly I don't care. I left all their food with them and left. Don't spend your money here. Disgusting!!!!!

Somehow I spent $50 on two dinners which was just general tso's chicken and beef with mushroom which was not right by the way , two soups and a couple appetizers and the appetizers were burnt the soup had no taste and like I said the beef and mushroom was not beef and mushroom it was mainly a bunch of vegetables with a few pieces of chewy beef almost raw and a barely any mushrooms worst place I've ever been to to get this kind of food they ought to give me my money back for this nasty stuff

Called to place an order, got hung up on while placing the order. Called back - was told, she was busy, didn’t have time, but then proceeded to ask what else did I need. Awful customer service, very concerning professionalism

Don't judge a book by its cover. The waiting area appears to be leaving in luster, but their food definitely goes above and beyond. This is the only place we will eat Chinese in a 20+ mile radius!

Feathers all over the chicken wings. Last time we had 5 soups and she stacked them in the bag. 4 of the lids busted in and the bag was soaked. I called to let her know that the lids were cheap and not to stack them but she was furious that someone would call to complain. Not very friendly once she has your money.

My favorite Chinese take-out since moving to West Virginia. Consistently good food, friendly staff and fast service. Can't recommend enough!

Never had it before, but tried the chicken almond ding and it was amazing. Large portions and average price. Additionally everything is not cooked to mush or the protein to jerky consistency- like most of the local restaurants.

Take out only. However. Always fresh and consistent. Great prices. One of my favorites .

My wife got very sick for 2 days from shrimps

As you can see, I rushed in right before closing, but they did not hesitate and it took all of maybe 10 minutes to get my order. I noted right away, in the first taste. they do not use MSG. I would like to return & try the Dragon and the Phoenix, & some of the other spicier specialities. The prices are excellent for the size of the portions. Wonton soup had an impressive number of substantially large wontons- 8 for the Qt. All the dishes pictured were the large size, and the main courses had a generous portion of very perfectly cooked (still slightly crispy) Vegetables with an excellent variety. Plenty of shrimp and chicken as far as that went too. The one thing, that was a tiny bit missing was some green slices of onions in the fried rice, or perhaps some little bits of carrot. The rice looked slightly naked. Otherwise, A Really superlative Chinese, well priced restaurant hidden away here in the mountains of W.V. I'm from the west coast of USA with huge Asian restaurant choices, & have lived in Asian countries. This is TopNotch!!!

We got a pupu platter (appetizer sampler plate). Fantastic! The restaurant is busy, but that is because it tastes great! We will eat here again on our way to visit family.

Please dont tell people the order will be ready in 15 minutes. When an hour later its not even ready. Just be honest & say you are super busy. With that being said, the food is very good.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. It honest was the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Bluefield over a year ago. We tried Tray King in bluefield but it was terrible. We thought thats how all the Chinese food places around here were gonna be but man were we wrong. The only sad part about this experience was the fact we waited so long to try it out. We will definitely be back. The General Tsos Chicken was pretty good although the pieces were a bit small and there was too much batter, and the Singapore Mai Fun was pretty solid beside there only being 2 or 3 shrimp in the entire dinner order. We got 4 full dinner size family meals and an order of the chicken on a stick and the total came out to less than $45. Absolutely amazing value for like 10 pounds of food.

The orders are almost always ready in 15 minutes. So far anything ordered from the lunch menu has been good. I have not ordered from the dinner menu. The prices are reasonable. The employees are friendly.

Worst person to answer the phone she hung up on me to answer another call when I was In the middle of my order then tell me she is busy and couldn't wait to finish my order so what you just hang up on people who are trying to order then when I try to order food she told me I can't have it together but yet I could order it separately the lady was very rude and kept tell me she couldn't hear me what was I lie because she know I was female

Fresh food and good portions with fair prices

Wonton soup, crab rangoon, egg roll were really good. The sesame chicken and orange chicken were good but they had them mixed up. The orange chicken had sesame seeds, the sesame chicken did not. Still edible but a mistake.

The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The food was wonderful and the portions generous. I will definitely order from this restaurant again the next time I am in Princeton.

I tried to order food over the phone. They hang up on me. I called 2nd time I have been told it's wrong phone number. When I called third time she told me. Come to the resturant to order. I don't know why these guys advertise delivery service.

Fast and delicious 😋 Exactly like Chinese food should be

This is the best restaurant in the county, maybe even the state. The food is always fresh made to order and they give very large generous portions. I've never had a bad meal from here and I eat it often. The only way the the other chinese restaurants in town even compete is by having buffet. This restaurant has no buffet. Everything is made when you order it. You may have to wait 15 minutes for your order to be prepared. If you want Chinese food in Mercer county, this is the place.

Food Selection and taste is the best around. Emily that complains about diarrhea below wants to blame her husband's eating habits of bacon lard on toast the day before on the Chinese food. Yeaaaaa right!

Very friendly people, the cashier is very sweet. Very fast service. Always gets my order correct and the food is fresh and made to order. I recommend the pineapple chicken.

Wow, when I walked into this establishment I thought, “I guess this is just another ordinary Chinese restaurant” but BOY WAS I WRONG. I have fallen in love with their amazing selection of food and the service is phenomenal. I would give 10 stars, but they only gave me 5. I highly recommend!

The food is delicious and you get a lot for your money

This place is great. I've been eating at this establishment for years. I moved from the area a couple years back but I still make the trip to get the egg rolls and sesame chicken. This is the benchmark I use to judge all other chinese takeaway places.

Literally the best Chinese in town. I eat here very often. I have for years now! The food is always made to order. Service is friendly. Extremely fair price for the amount of food you get. As far as I know, there is no dine in. I suggest trying the orange chicken chefs special, or the mixed vegetables in brown sauce!

Hong Kong has great food. We have ordered the same 3 dishes many times now. I'm sure the whole menu is great but we know that the Chicken Lo Mein, the Pork Fried Rice, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken is awesome!

stopped in for a quick bite as we rested from our road trip..... directions from the hotel were excellent and we found this place easily food was prepared fast it was very good, although i forgot to tell them to skip the msg, so i was very thirsty later on in the evening.....but no biggie

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Princeton. They are super fast, the food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is very friendly. If you are looking to order take out Chinese food this is the location for you.

Food was freshly made, only 3 people working so service was a little slow but understandable with the number of orders picked up (called in) while I waited for my order. Flavor could have had a bit more depth and breadth, but was generically good.

Great little take out spot. We ate in and it was not too bad at all. The general tso's was delicious but a tad too sweet. Standard American Chinese fare at a good price.

I just moved back to Princeton from Florida and I remember this place used to be called Chinese Kitchen and it was good. When my partner suggested we have Chinese food last night I decided to head there, only to find it had changed to Hong Kong. We decided to give it a try and I'm glad we did. We ordered General Tso's chicken, Orange chicken, fried dumplings and egg rolls. We were taking out and decided to sit and wait for our food. The restaurant offers free hot tea while you wait or dine in. The place is small, 4 tables I believe, but it was a friendly, happy environment to be in. We got our food in about 10 minutes despite there being a line of people ordering and calling in. The food was fresh and delicious. I was really surprised when we got home and began eating. The egg rolls are huge, piping hot and taste fantastic. The dumplings were made perfectly and the sauce for them was really good too. You can really taste the sweetness of the ginger and a little kick from pepper. I had the Orange chicken. My plate was overflowing and everything had been made to order. I like spicy food and had them make it a little more spicy and that they did. We both had dinner specials and we got so much food that I get to enjoy it again today for lunch. My partner laid into the General Tso's chicken. I tried to have a conversation during dinner, but apparently his was so good that all he could do was hum music while in Chinese food heaven. He also can put away food. He likes to eat so I was really shocked when he wasn't able to finish his plate. There's leftovers for both of us today. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. She was attentive to our needs and didn't miss a single detail. This is going to be my go-to Chinese restaurant from now on. I'm really glad we decided to go ahead an order from there despite it not being what I remember. I'm going to be ordering from there frequently and I urge anyone else who wants some really good Chinese takeout from some friendly folks to try the place. You won't leave disappointed.

Food is 5 Star and you get a good amount of it for a great price.The reason I gave it a four is the drinks are to expensive and it's to hot to eat at the restaurant.Therefore,it's better for take out or delivery.But again,the foods great.

I used to eat here too often before I retired. You cannot beat their lunch specials! I still go too often, but have noticed lately, there may be less meat in their dishes, and have found grisley pieces of chicken more frequently. It's not a place to dine-in, but great for take-out.

Fantastic food, awesome prices!

Driving from Charlotte toward Pittsburgh, we hit upon this scary little town of Princeton,WV. It was around 8pm in the night and it was just dark everywhere. Found this Chinese restaurant behind an old shopping complex. We decided to eat here anyway as the next little town was at least 80 miles away. The waitress was unusually looking petite and might be mistaken for a primary school girl. The food was costing around 7.25 and got a ton of food! Around 2 people could eat with one order. I got the combo that comes with the spring roll. The spring roll was gigantic! That alone could suffice your hunger. Four of us went and ordered four individual orders. Food was very tasty but it was a big waste and we had to throw away most of the left overs A definite must try if you are driving through the town of Princeton,WV. But be cautious and order with care - the food portions are humongous!
