I got a Szheshuan chicken meal. The rice didn’t have any taste and the szheszhuan did not have what it usually has which is peanuts, little corns, and it has a lot more vegetables than chicken. They had only a few strips of chicken. The service obviously it was in a hurry and the atmosphere is just a place for you to eat your meal and go.

It is your standard Chinese takey outy :-) I have been a couple times while dog sitting in the area. Once the food was hot, delicious and not greasy. The second time, not so lucky. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food. The employees are kind and helpful.

Unfortnately decided to give it a try- although simple dishes still poor! Pork fried rice- mostly rice, only lil pieces of roast pork, tasteless, no sprouts, just plain. Waste for me $$ :[

be aware when you pick up your food and order combo meal they always forget the soda think they do that on purpose

The food and the place are excellent! I arrived at 10:10 pm and the girl at the cash register got angry because they close at 10:30 pm, when it is here at 11 pm.

Just moved to the area, my kitchen’s not ready and I’m hungry. Found Hop Bo Chinese. Glad I did. Their General Tso Chicken was delicious. I will be back! Solid Choice.

Great selection of veggie plates. Very quickly served. It stayed pretty busy the whole time we were there. Relatively clean. Not a lot of seating. Everything we ordered was super yummy. We'd definitely go back if we're in the area. The fried rice was especially good. Loaded with flavor.

After two years of ordering from this place, I order broccoli with shrimp in garlic sauce. When i get home to eat i feel like the garlic sauce was extra spicy and dark. I return to the store thinking that they made a mistake on my order and they treated me in a bad way. The girl claimed that her garlic sauce was like this, (no flavor or evident garlic and dark) I think that for all of us who live here the garlic sauce is that, garlic and butter, but... the most important thing is that nowhere in the menu says it was SPICY… Finally, no apology from them, they took my food that I had sent back and did not offer to make what I expected or at least return the money. I find it incredible that they have this bad service, but don't worry, put your spicy shrimp wherever you want…. Apparently they need it more than me.

The owners were so nice and they were open late(why we went) but they served us the worst, deconstructed sesame shrimp I've ever had and looked nothing like the picture. I tried eating some not to waste food or money, but absolutley dissapointing. It was a few pieces of fried shrimp with tails on, and a huge bowl of sauce on the side. Thats it.

I got the pork loin mein lunch special and it was very good. Will definitely come back.

This little takeout place is not far from where I live and it's our go to if we have a craving for basic Chinese food. It's the best we have found close to us outside of the more concentrated Chinese restaurant areas like Mills and West Colonial. Food is consistently good, portions are generous and prices are cheaper than you would pay for any fast food place nowadays. If you don't feel like cooking and want a good cheap meal this is the place for you. UPDATE 03-2023: Still our go to for Chinese takeout, food is good, and at a reasonable price.

I will never order here again I ordered shrimp lo mein and the shrimp is so over cooked that it’s flavorless mush. I’m super let down. My chicken wings are obviously old and refried. First and last time ordering.

My first and last time🙈. The owners were very nice. But, the orange chicken was mediocre and the vegetable lo mein was soupy. Very disappointed. I can taste the inflation short cuts. My lo mein noodles were even broken into small pieces 😑

I've been eating at this restaurant for about 20+ years. No joke, I love the food here and due to my families allergies, I feel super comfortable here. Always fresh and delicious. I'll keep coming here always and highly recommend it to everyone!

Not a patron, but a concerned citizen. They dry their meat out back by the dumpsters and you consume it. Flies, larva, birds, bugs live by dumpsters. This is disgusting. These practices will make you sick. Cannot imagine what goes on in the kitchen if they think this is okay. Not sure if this video will attach but it’s being reported to the Health Department for sure.

My family loves to order take out from here! They offer so many different customizations which is perfect for everyone, my brother the vegetarian included. Their Generl Tso's meal is one of our favorites to order!

Hole in the wall Chinese takeout restaurant. Ordered the Hunan chicken combo with white rice and egg roll. Good portion size for the price. The sliced chicken was prepped well, juicy and tender to the bite. The sauce was well made, and they actually used black soy beans for this dish which really enhanced the flavor. For the price, flavor, and speed at which they got the dish ready, it's a great deal.

I got a combo platter of general Tsos chicken. The portion size is pretty good for the price and they have really good food. Staff was really nice and professional. Would eat here again for sure.

The service here is fast and friendly. I have had the Cashew Chicken here twice, and it is the best I've ever had !

If your from nyc you get why the name of this restaurant is funny 😂 the food is pretty damn good. I’ve been in search for a nyc style Chinese authentic flavors and this hit the spot for me.

Ordered pork fried rice and pork egg foo young. Best I can say was the egg foo young was large. Rice lacked color of traditional fried rice. Both the rice and egg lacked flavor. Very bland. The prices on the website are not true. Prices at the restaurant are higher. I won't be back.

It's take away. But you can eat in. Small place. Staff nice, efficient. Lots of choices. Food is good. Hot. They're pretty quick filling orders. Earlier is quicker, dinner time a little bit longer but still quick. We generally get wonton soup, shrimp fried rice, moogoo gai pan and egg rolls. But have had other things. Fast food. Prices comparable with other take away places

It’s hard to tell from the picture but there are two very large egg foo young patties that fill the container.Both were very thick and dense with a very good amount of diced roast pork and onions and miscellaneous vegetables that usually come in egg foo young patties. The gravy was a little thin but still flavorful but not too salty. The fried rice was also not too salty and seasoned well. This was a very good tasty meal for $6.25 for the lunch special that included a choice of a can of soda or an eggroll

This place is one of my go to places for Chinese food. I pass several other places before getting to this one and I will continue doing so. I discovered it when I moved to the area years ago and I moved further away but still frequent it.

I been going to hop Bo for years.. they do have great food.. cooked right, no over cooked boneless ribs.. omg they cook it perfect and with flavor, they do not drown the boneless ribs in sauce.. I recommend for great Chinese food.. and the young guy at the counter already knows what I like and is very nice..

I would like to take the chance to write a review on this location that I have visited many times over the years. I have a nickname at this location and the employee here this location call me "The Flash." The reason why the employees call me by that nickname is because I call the restaurant for take out and instead of them telling me 10 mins I show up there in 30 sec after I hang up from the phone. Now let's get to the part everyone is here for lol. The food is amazing and a menu item that I would recommend is the chicken wings. Those wings are the best favor and so tasty. However, I would definitely give this location a try if you are in the area.

We liked it, no complaints. Portions were good, prices were fair, food was what was expected. We had the beef with broccoli, fried rice, egg roll, chicken wings with steamed rice, and vegetable lo mein.Mein. Good spot for Chinese close by the airport. Went for the second time and the difference was night and day. The food was not good at all. Maybe they had an off night, but i was terribly unimpressed this time around. Would drop the score to a 2/5, for an average of 3/5.

I had a large order from this location. When I got there they were set up for social distancing. You have to call ahead right now, I think to keep your visit short, which I felt was great. They're very polite people. The food was great. Very flavorful. We happy with this restaurant.

I tend to not order much Chinese food because I’m hesitant on the quality and taste of the food around the area. My first time ordering from this place today and oh, my, goodness! Starting with the fried rice, it’s just great. Boneless ribs were also good. Dumplings? Flavorful! We also had egg rolls, which were probably the best I’ve had down here. I’m so glad to know that I have a great Chinese restaurant in the area if I’m craving Chinese food again. 🤩

The boneless ribs and fried rice with no soy sauce is excellent.

Just tried them for first time and had General Tso chicken. Though they claim spicy, not even close. It was Ok as their menu photo included lots of brocoli, well half of it barely. Haven't made up my mind on how well I want to rate this place, but I will try them again

I give them four stars because it's hit or miss with them but it's not enough to complain. I say hit or miss because sometimes the food taste funny sometimes it tastes great, I guess it's depends on the cook at that time. But I say this the fried wontons are awesome the best I've had in any of the Chinese restaurants. I do recommend them.

Great place to get some of the traditional Chinese dishes. I had the Singapore noodles...vegetables only. The dish was plentiful and filling. I would have given 5 stars but the dish was supposed to be spicy and it wasn't at all. I will return but I'll be sure to request spicy next time.
