I'm originally from Chicago, and every time I go to Hot Dog Heaven for a Cicago dog, it's as if I've taken an escape weekend to the Windy City! There's nothing like it except right here in Ft. Lauderdale!

We love trying different hotdog places, and this one was on the list. Parking is limited, not really a big problem. The people in there were friendly and even double-checked to make sure our order was right. We had an order for 8 people all custom orders, and I will say no orders were wrong. Great hotdogs & good portions for fries. We would eat here again.

A young man we work with begged us to go there so we did it was pretty busy and affordable I've been in the restaurant business my whole life and worked in places like this and know the ins and outs I was starving and ordered a dog a burger large coke the food arrived imediatly I grabbed the burger I always open it up and was surprised on seeing the lettuce and tomato were sparse but also ends and pieces I said AHHH it's cheap proceeded to bite it and found it spongy which tells me it's organ meat and not ground beef this is a super cheap alternative and for me made for trash bin I would suggest going down the street and paying a little more and getting a propper lunch and rename this place Hotdog Hell

Came from NJ and I was told I had to try this place out. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. Got a hot dog, cheeseburger, and fries. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Hamburgers are a thin patty and hot dogs are on point (not too thick/not too wrinkled). Crinkle cut fries are the fries you’ll get here. My favorite part about this experience was getting to sit with others I did not know at a table and just be able to talk. It was so nice! I will be back when I come to Florida again. Thanks again!

I've been visiting hot dog heaven for the last 20 years. there are many imitations but only one original. they are the best not only the food but the people every time you walked in there on order you going to get a smile and an extraordinary hot dog. The poppy seed bread freshly steamed. to be honest I can not only have one most of the time I have to have two. they changed their hours and now they're only open from Wednesday through Saturday until 4:30 if you can make the trip

Love these guys. One of the best little burgers in town. Great Chicago dogs, The grilled salami Barry's way, extra charred is one of my go too items. Tamales are a great add on to any meal, cheese fries with a little celery salt sprinkled on top. Damn, now I want some but they aren't open today lol

We could have easily obtained two and divided them among four of us because they were so plentiful. There are so many baggers! The well cooked Polish sausage has large pieces of onion instead of minced onions. The price is a touch steep, but not unreasonably so. There was only seating outside, which was filled when we got there. No interior seats. The interior is filled with wonderful memories and photographs, but a little chaotic overall. Food arrives almost immediately, and the staff is kind. Definitely coming back!!

This place is the real deal! Mom and pop's old school hot dog stand with Chicago style dogs as well as other tasty treats. The food is fresh, made to order and it's delicious and a bargain too! You place your order at the counter, they take your name or write down the color of your shirt and then come find you outside when your order is ready. It's a popular place and lunch time is busy but they have a no nonsense style and you get your food quickly. You never know who you might strike up a conversation with at the concrete communal tables inches from the traffic whizzing by on Sunrise Blvd. Old school places like this joint are a rarity these days so cherish the moment!

The best hotdog place I've been to yet, they use fresh cut veggies and pickles. The taste will explode in your mouth at every bite. The only downfall is that you will eat it too quickly and will have to get another one since the hotdogs are small standard sizes. I flew in from Boston just to try them out, and it was worth the 2 hours delay law over...yes I'm a hotdog guy over burger.

Delicious hot dogs, heavenly theming, and Chicago-centric menu items. Tried the Chicago dog and the polish dog on this visit, both were excellent! The hot dogs/sausages themselves were very good quality, perfect texture. The other ingredients were tasty as well, very good quality. Indoor seating is not available right now, not sure if that’s coming back. It’s all outdoor seating on their mostly covered patio or to go. There’s a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant with a few normal spots and parallel parking options as well. I love all the restaurant’s decor, with terrazzo style tables and lots of hand painted signs. Gives classic American restaurant vibes.

Yeah I didn't go to Hot Dog Heaven I was stuck in traffic in front of them for about three or four minutes waiting for the light to change but thanks LOL

Anyone that knows anything about Vienna beef hot know that it has a poppy-seed steam bun and fresh vegetables on it was good sport peppers this place is dynomite also the chili cheese dog was really really good got a side of the jardinero peppers some of the best in the business I haven't had the beef yet haven't got over the hot dogs I will be trying though very soon

I've been going to this place for years. I sometimes go long stretches without being able to get over there based on where I'm working, but the consistency is always there when I make it back. Hands-down, the best hotdogs in the area. I the sausage sandwich is incredible. And the burgers are pretty good too. You really can't miss with this place.

Went today for lunch. I haven’t been there in at least three years. Definitely not the same. Has to be new owners! Hot dog was dry, Italian sausage was worse. That’s all I got along with a Pepsi, definitely wasn’t worth 20 bucks!

I was told by a friend that I definitely red to try this place while I was visiting. The hot dogs are lilies high with toppings and man were they good. The service was quick and the food was hot. This is somewhere you’ll need to try. Many different choices that should make anyone full.

First of all the hot dog tastes like it stayed in water and got all the flavor boiled out. Second of all they filled my chili cheese fries with melted cheese and abt 8 individual beans and a lil bit of chili sauce. Those fries tasted like microwaved fries even though I saw them deep fry them. Questionable quality. AND me and my sisters stomach was hurting after. I’m done. They are not going to find me again.

I was not impressed. I always wanted to stop here because I love hot dog and helping small businesses. I told the cashier it was my first time here and she walked away. When I finally got to order I was ushered though I was cattle. About 10 minutes my food was ready after being told to go wait on the other side of the room. The mustard and onion dog I ordered tasted like a plain dog with very few onions. I don't even know if there was mustard on it. The chili cheese fries I ordered were a lot closer to fires with nacho sauce on them. Although, there were a few beans just to make me thing I got chili. All and all, the food was not that good, service was mediocre at best and the place was really small. The bright side was at least I tried it.

Phenomenal little gem on sunrise Blvd, stopped in to give it a try and I couldn’t be happier. Staff is very friendly, recommended the chicago style super dog which is their specialty, it was absolutely delicious. Def swing by get yourself a hot dog when you’re in Ft Lauderdale. It’s worth it!

Very small parking lot maybe 10 cars so it's gonna get busy very quickly I lived in Fort Lauderdale over 20 years And that had better hot dogs at checkers and Miami subs believe it or not at the best these are mediocre and if you wanna wait half an hour for a mediocre hot dog by all means go ahead I'm sure everyone's gonna hate me in my review but that's just my opinion and only one. Oh and just to annoy me I ordered 2 chili dogs and they made only one.... Apologies and all that... surprisingly the next chilly dog came out in a few minutes so I don't know why it takes so long to make simple food it's beyond me certainly no McDonald's drive-thru speed times! If even if this was Gordon Ramsay food it should come out faster! 😆 lol

The owner and lady at the cash register are as rude as you get. I have eaten their three or four times but never again. I have never seen a owner who is as unappreciative of the very people who keep them in business. Better hot dogs at three or four places in Fort Lauderdale, where they treat you like customers not like an annoyance.

A little bit of a way but it was worth the wait. I am from Brooklyn, New York and I have to say the burger was great and the chili and cheese dog was unbelievable and the chili and cheese fries highly recommend this place for out of towners and the service was great. Didn't make you stay inside. They bring your food outside and they call your name. Highly recommend this place

This is a small business with an even smaller parking lot. We wanted to try it out because I love hotdogs and there was a crowd outside the first time we passed it. The crowd is because you only go inside to order then wait outside for your food. And wait you will. There were maybe 2 orders ahead of us and we waited a good 15-20 minutes. The 2 people behind the counter - one pleasant, doing the cooking and the other not so pleasant, because I guess she was doing a good portion of the work and running inside and outside. I ordered the Chicago style dog, which has mustard, onions, relish, tomato, peppers (they're hot and I immediately picked mine out) pickles and relish. My daughter ordered a plain one, plus an order of cheese fries. The only person that was ok with what he ate was my husband, who had only the cheese fries. The hotdogs were terrible. Did I mention that I love hotdogs? All brands and sizes. In many, many different states. These are tough! How can a hotdog be tough? My daughter ate maybe half of hers, only because she was hungry. For being a hot dog stand, it was so disappointing.
