Came back after their renovation. Nothing much has changed, just freshened up. Came on a Friday around 7:30. It wasn't too busy so we got seated and to the buffet right away. Obviously still need some extra cleaning staff. The sauce table looked like a bomb dropped both times we went through. I know it's a rough spot to keep tidy, but there didn't look to be much effort. As for the food, my husband really appreciated the mussels while I wondered why there was no spinach or hot mustard. Also, I was hoping they'd start to slice the mushrooms thicker like the CDA location. All the servers and staff were very nice and personable.

My kids love this place. It's just a fun environment and good quality food.

I took my wife here for the very first time. She loved it! Derek was absolutely amazing. The staff was so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious as well.

FYI there closed Update: I felt compelled to leave a review after I drove all the way across town during my lunch break to find out the Buissness was closed. Due to my limited timeframe I checked the google listing to make sure HuHot was open, Unfortunately the page was not updated. I love HuHot and intend on updating my view come grand reopening.

Fun place to eat, they are constantly upgrading the menu.

Better than the other Mongolian buffets

This place never disappoints. For the service, food & price it’s hard to bet. The service team at this place goes over & beyond. The options are some of the best I have ever experienced which you can cover it feels almost all dietary restrictions. If you have allergies they give you a special bowl & take extreme caution in preparing yours. They clean the grill completely, change tools, gloves , etc. I have food allergies & restrictions so doing a Mongolian grill is normally out for me but this is the only place I trust. The atmosphere is nothing special but it is comfortable, clean & usually not too noisy.

This is one our favorite spots to eat. This location recently underwent a renovation which added a lot more seating. The servers here are always great & we like being able to flavor our food just the way we like it. There are LOTS of meats & veggies to select from & dozens of sauces to add. There's a menu to order from but we love the buffet so we never have.

We did the takeout. The bowl is huge and I piled it high. It is worth doing. So healthy. If you have allergies, the cooks circle the girl and use the same spatulas on everyone's food.

The best Mongolian grill I have ever been to. I absolutely love there food. Its all you can eat place.

My husband and I were there for my birthday 🎂 They gave me a free meal and Huckleberry ice cream! What a deal! Our waitress was Lisa, she was friendly, attentive and a great waitress!! She stopped by the table several times to check on us!!

Please update your Google hours and phone service, as you are not open. My family and I drove 50 miles into town today for my daughter's birthday and it's closed for remodeling. This is our favorite place and she was ecstatic to eat there today.

I have a shellfish allergy. Our server was quite proactive, as was our cook, on ensuring to isolate our food during the cooking process. I was quite impressed!

Food was okay my son found a hair in his food almost choked on it as he was pulling it out. Then they forgot about my nephew's chicken strips and fries. I don't think I'll be eating here again

Been there a few times this last year. We dealt with burned beyond edible food and a VERY drunk waitress. Then we went back another time and has food with random debris in it plus the male bald waiter we had was incredibly rude. This place has gone way down hill. Luckily the CDA location is still pretty good. It's worth the drive to CDA to have good food and service

I've always enjoyed the custom plates that you can make. They also will clean the grill for people with food allergies which has been great for my friend with celiac

I got extremely bad food poisoning after visiting here. Avoid, unless you don’t mind being extremely sick or doing anything for a day or two.

Delicious Asian food in a cozy environment.

Came here for lunch on a week day and it was packed. The service was good but the waiter was a bit condescending while explaining the restaurants policies. The food was good but some of the items were mixed and it was messy.

Always a great place to spend for lunch or dinner. Always inviting and always good service. It's definitely a go to place for my family and I. I've been going here pretty much since it's been open years ago and still keep coming back. Also, during your birthday month you get a free meal which is a bonus and serves as a great gift. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Burnt my food from the grill multiple times. Maybe clean out the grill often

I love this place! Weather we do takeout or we dine-in, this place is a favorite. The staff are friendly, the cooks are awesome, and you get your food quickly! So many options and soooo yummy!

Food was actually burnt. Noodles were tough and crunchy to eat. So much food cooked on the grill at once other's food was mixing in with others peoples ordered food. The food bar itself hadn't been cleaned and food was intermixed with other food. The cook told us it's hard to cook on the grill because one side is really hot and the other side much cooler. The cook was cooking orders AND training at the same time. So much for him to do at one time. Ate.... food is too expensive. Son got home barely and had food poisoning. The entire restaurant needs new carpet to the point its so wrinkled its a trip hazard. Restaurant just looks grimy every where. It's a shame because we've gone for years. Never NEVER going back.

One of my favorite places to go now that I work out in the valley. I don’t like fetching my own food and waiting in line for it to cook, but it’s all part of the experience. Wish they were open later and didn’t close down the food until after close.

I first ate here about 15 years ago. I have not eaten here in over 10 years. The food has really gone down. It was overcrowded the grease on the floor around the area where the cooks cooked the meal was so thick that even with slip resistant shoes the chefs were slipping. It just felt like it had sold out to just being a popular place where it used to be fun to come here and get your food fresh cooked and you'll be able to pick what you wanted. The Panda Express does not have the same selection or the same variety of meats and vegetables, but for the price it's a much better deal.

Dirty cooking environment, with lots of cross contamination going on, especially with sea food. After eating a couple bites I was extremely nauseous.

Food is always good and the buffets are frequently tended. Only docked a star because they're prices are getting high. Still reasonable, at 14.99 for lunch and 17.99 for dinner. Staff are always great amd friendly.

Overall really awesome place to eat, family or alone. They do not support Gastro patients diet which is an issue. I eat less than a 4 year old but have to pay full price for all you can eat?

I've come here for years, mainly for family gatherings. We have some picky eaters but they can easily find something they will love. Everytime we come we always see people with allergies and they make it super easy to accommodate and make sure there isn't any cross contamination (always a concern with allergies).

They were out of everything, the floors were extremely slick and dangerous. We had to have our meal remade twice due to mixing them up. I felt like for the price we didn't get what we should have. Used to go all the time but it's gone downhill for sure.

Asked to watch hockey, server said ok. Noticed basketball was on, asked Jeff if we could watch NHL. He said no he's watching Gonzaga, it wasn't on yet. He said he paid for it because the owner doesn't so he's watching hoops. Rude AF. Food and our personal server were great.

Overall not a bad place at all! Service is great! The young lady filling the prep tables did a great job of being efficient and staying on top of all the toppings and things you might want on your plate. We personally like to eat here based on the fact that we can prepare our plates exactly the way we want to! Pro-tip don't be afraid to grab two bowls and get all the toppings you want on your first walkthrough the guys cooking will not have any problem with it and it saves you an extra trip! Though it seems like two bowls might be a lot the food before it's cooked takes up much more room than after it's cooked. That's just my method to building the options are literally endless and up to you! The Staff is always friendly and helpful we've had the same waitress multiple times going there and she does a great job. There are multiple Mongolian style grills in this area but HuHot is definitely our favorite! The only downside I could say is the floors are very slick in some area's so be careful walking on the tile!1

My partner and I went there a few days ago for his birthday. The food was great, the server was really awesome, and the cook was a really good dude. HOWEVER, a guest ruined the experience. He and I were waiting for our food to be cooked. Our bowls were placed down at the same time, and finished cooking at the same time. His food was plated first bc he got there first. The cook used to spatula to gather my food together before plating the other customers food, when all of a sudden the other customer started yelling at the cook for touching raw fish. What raw fish?? I had chicken and bacon in mine, and like I said earlier, they were both fully cooked at the same time. The other customer stormed off making a scene and when I got my food and sat down, other customers were saying how rude that guy was being. The cook was amazing by keeping cool about being yelled at while doing his job. He did nothing wrong, and this other customer was just being rude!

The cook had just finished my food, and got ready to plate it. He then spread another patron’s raw fish to cook. Using the same spatulas, he plated my food. We talked with a manager who apologized, took $6 off our bill, and talked to the guy. Because it is an open restaurant we could hear the cook deny anything. The manager walked away and it continued business as usual. My wife and I were getting seconds,, but decided not to risk it. The two stars in service is for the manager not coming back to talk with us. The waiter was excellent. He still got his tip. The manager came up after we had written the review and were getting ready to leave. He said he was going to give a larger comp, but the cook told him we had gone through a couple of times. I guess the implication was we were just trying to scam a free meal. Talking to the manager was never about getting free food. The complaint was about was to prevent continued cross contamination. While not regulars, we did go 2 or 3 times a year. We won’t be going back.

A bit noisy, but service and food was great. It is a fun atmosphere with great food.

They dressed the place up some since I was there last. Disappointed with the seafood choices. Over cooked the food, granted they were very busy but with the amount of cooks around that grill you'd think that wouldn't happen. Also seems that your bowl gets cooked over someone else's sauces and seasonings until the grill is completely cleaned. Waitress was very nice...

Really great experience here for my 2nd time after a couple years. There were 3 guys on the grill. Looked like another woman on the ingredient line, and a dish person. Place was clean. I almost slipped twice on the same spot of floor near the dishes. Make sure to tip the grill guys I pit in $10 for the hard work they do to make sure food is properly cooked through. Waiter was attentive and came back many times to ensure our service was met. Would definitely return if I want stir fry made on the spot and don’t want to cook at home! 4/5 for affordable asian food in the area. Meal only came out to $18.99 for dinner which is very affordable for 2 plates I had!

Pretty great place for some hot grub. Their were two cooks making the food when I was there and worked as a team. They have a separate TIP pot for them. I encourage for everybody to leave them something. Since they have to work hard and in the heat they're entire shift. They deserve it.

They were super busy and still has good customer service! All the food was stocked and they had 4 chefs at the grill. Try the cookie dough rancoons. They were so tasty!

Get exactly what you want! I really like this place but need to go when it's less busy so I don't get as much other people's food in mine! LoL 🤣

Hu Hot is one of my Wife and I's go to's. We love the food and service here. Quality is pretty much always consistently fresh, the cooks do a really good job, and the wait staff has been here for awhile and is superb.

Chefs were cool & I was happy to find meatless options for the bbq. Also they have a dessert option for diy campfire s'mores, which I didn't get, but that just sounds like fun.

Wish the sauce and noodles were getting stirred up better on the flattop during cooking. Overall good experience and will be returning for more food in the future.

We have been to this location many times and never had an issue but we went on a Saturday for dinner and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Our waitress was clearly VERY drunk. Slurring words and smelled of alcohol. She was constantly messing up orders for drinks and starters. She would come bad 2-3 times to ask us what we wanted again. Took forever to get our check. And the food was disappointing too. We had a long wait in line which was no big deal since it was dinner time. The first round of food I had large chunks of egg shells and I didn't even add egg to mine. The second round was so burn it had chunks of black crisps in it and was not edible. We left hungry and upset. I don't think we will be back.

It's kinda spendy, and I can only eat one plate

This is my favorite Mongolian grill. I don't even live in Spokane anymore, but come back for this. It will ruin you for any other place like it because it is the best. The price is fantastic for all-you-can-eat, the staff is fun and nice, the food is as delicious as you want to make it.

All things considered, a very clean restaurant with fantastic chefs and waiters. I’ve never had an issue here.

Plates were dirty they didn't cook the food throughly,and the atmosphere was horrible I get that kids will play ect..but damn the kids that were there tonight were terrible had to scream to make a conversation, I won't be going back over priced food that isn't even cooled .

We ahve always enjoyed going here. Now that things are opening up we could again. To be perfectly fair the cooks are new and you could tell as overcooked was the theme. That said it tasted good. We used to love this place, but now it’s really not being managed well. The ceiling above the raw food is leaking and dripping on customers. The floors are seriously gross and the carpet is so dirty you can’t see the design anymore.and it’s rippling so people will trip. They have lots of servers and yet nobody to clean? The food and sauce area is so gross it makes me lose my appetite now. Bathrooms are trashed and under the tables had dirty napkins and food all under my feet. The food is okay but just unsanitary. I’m surprised it’s allowed to run like this. Sad it used to be very nice. The one in Coeur d’Alene is way nicer and the way this one uses to be

Went in because we had been there before and my nephew really wanted mongolian. The server was rude, we heared him berateing another one of his co-workers there. Then after we ate we asked to split the check 3 ways. he comes back a few minutes there and hands my sister and nephew a check for $23 and hands me a check for $45 so I ask him why is mine more expinsive when we asked to split it 3 ways. He says he misunderstood and will change it, comes back with a check for each of us that is about $28 and some change so we pay it and leave. Then when I get home I see on my bank statement not only did he charge me the $45 but he charged me twice for $45 I will never eat there again they are theives!

Derek (that guy with the beard) is phenomenal. My little family has run into him at both this location and the coeur d Alene location and even my 10 yr old gets excited when he sees Derek is working that night. Flippen fantastic service!!!!!!

This was our first visit and we'll be returning. The atmosphere was up beat and fun. The servers were friendly and kind. And as amazing as it may seem, the other patrons were friendly as well. Clearly we were new, it was actually the kind hearted patrons that helped us negotiate the huge selection and the grill line. Something wonderful is happening in a place where the people who eat there are as helpful as the paid staff. We had a really good time.

Personalized service, excellent food. Crab rangoons are the best appitizer. Select your choices of meat, protiens, veggies, then choose the sauce you want. The grill guy was friendly, the waiter was exceptional. Met a friend for lunch there on the 2ond. So good that I went back the next day. Salad is delicious.

My food was moderately cooked. At least some of it. The bacon was still cold and the meat was very rubbery.

Super delish, good options. Only thing it’s missing are some spices. Used to go to a similar place in Texas and they had different dry rub type spices which really elevated the flavor. Otherwise this place is affordable and the atmosphere is calm.

It's only been my second time here but the food was fantastic, staff was kind while always being on top of things and in general a nice atmosphere to sit with my friends and have a delicious meal.
