Wow! I can’t believe I have not posted a review on one my husbands and my favorite places to go!! I guess because they do not need a review really as word of mouth has kept them busy for years!! ❤️ There is absolutely nothing on their menu that will disappoint you!! The whole staff is so friendly. In fact they go the extra mile to make your experience even better!! Love this place!! It is a bucket list place to visit if you are here visiting!! If your local…..well we probably know you as we are definitely regulars here. 🥰

My family and I ate here a couple of nights ago and we were very impressed. Very diverse menu. Food was fresh, tasty and the portions were very good. The service was excellent. THe restaurant felt clean (didn't use the restrooms). Very nice fusion of thai, mexican and polynesian. Would definitely come again if we lived here or are passing through again.

Atmosphere was great, service was good, and food was pretty good! I ordered a Thai chicken wrap, which I really liked, and my daughter ordered the orange chicken, and it was good, though it could have had more of an orange flavor, but chicken had a great texture. My son ordered a burger, and while it looked good, he wasn't a fan. Overall, it was a good place for a quick bite and I would come again!

Really good food and service. We came down from NE Florida to celebrate my son's birthday. He had mentioned that this place was one of his favorites.

Service was good,a bit loud,cuz there's a bar in center of restaurant. I had roasted pork with pineapple rice.pork was shredded, and rice was good tad salty.also side of plantain,which was perfect.prices are super fair,considering plate size.would definitely return.

We were visiting the space coast for a week from the mountains of North Carolina, Crystal was our server and was a true delight. Best server I have encountered in a long time. Food was phenomenal. The wahu dip was an excellent appetizer. My wife got the mahi mahi. It was grilled to perfection. Seasonal veggies were on point. I got the house salmon. What a treat! It was grilled to my liking. Overall a great little find for seafood with a Mediterranean flare.

Mojito great, burger and slaw good, Mahi on salad not what I expected when I ordered it blackened and server said it was blackened but it looked grilled.

Definitely only business due to regulars. Food is absolutely trash for what they charge. Please DO NOT COME HERE if you think it’s family friendly. Just paid $8 for microwaved kraft mac n cheese, and $4.50 for a kids chocolate milk. Sooooo many better restaurants in Melbourne, save your money and go elsewhere.

I've NEVER EVER had onion rings this good The only thing that sucked was the black beans weren't they were red.

This the first time I've been to this restaurant in several years. Now I know why. So-so food, at noncompetitive prices, in a lackluster atmosphere. It's okay okay.

OMG! This place is so good! We had the Stuffed Founder, Luau Pork Key Lime Pie (the only thing that wad meh...) and Fried Platains with Ice Cream. The food was awesome! I'm on vacation, If I ever come back to the area, I will definitely return. The service was superb!

I wanted to leave a good review for here but unfortunately 2 stars is the best I could do. The food service and prices were pretty good so please don't let that deter you. That being said, I have asthma and multiple times during my meal I smelled extremely harsh cleaner being used near me and my table and it smelled like this during almost the entire meal. It's totally understandable to need to clean tables but follow other restaurants and use less harsh cleaners. No one wants to be overwhelmed by bleach during their meal and it completely prevents people like me with respiratory, allergy, or migraine issues from being able to eat there. If they make an effort to correct this I will revise my review

Atmosphere was awesome. The waitress was awesome best I had in a really long time. The food was good and it was brought to us in a rather quick time period considering it was pretty busy at the time we were there and also she was right on it whenever we needed.

Cocktails were basic. Appetizers were decent, but mains were pretty bland/lackluster. We were expecting a more fun Polynesian ambiance, considering the name, but it felt like the theme wasn’t fully executed.

I've been here twice now and I had a consistently good experience both times. Service is fantastic and the food is great! The cocktail menu is also very fun and I love the fu man chu mug. I definitely recommend visiting as there are very few Hawaiian themed restaurants and they do it well here at Hula Moon.

Manager, be aware of how you are losing customers!We couldn't even eat dîner tonight in this restaurant because of the attitude of the hostess.We wanted to be seated in a boot, there were plenty available on the left side, but she told us that past a certain hour (?), everybody have to be seated on the right side. Unfortunately for us two, on the right side there were just high top table available. So we decline and the hostess didn't care at all.

I had the mahi burger and thought it was delicious. Husband had teriyaki chicken and said it was more like orange chicken-wasn't bad but wasn't good. My 10 y/o liked whatever he got. Server was very friendly. Didn't go on a night when there was hula dancing, but it was still a nice little place.

My spinach berry salad was fantastic and the dressing was beyond amazing!

This review should have happened a long time ago.... tonight we came to Hula Moon for my wife's birthday a party of 14. The server was great she hit every drink order to perfection and all food came out without any issue nice and hot. They catered to our birthday celebration with prepping our cake and joining in the happy birthday song. George you have a great crew and an awesome menu with top knotch food. Thank you for having us and all the prior meals that were just as great.

Hula Moon no ka oi! Awesome "upscale" tiki bar, with a really varied and excellent menu, a full bar (with tiki drinks and a good draft beer selection), and a museum's worth of amazing tiki art! The menu reads like a food bucket list; there is literally nothing on the menu that I do not want to try (but I keep ordering the ahi tuna club, which is amazeballs).

WOW‼️, We were in town looking at some real estate and decided to grab some lunch. Pulled in the parking lot to Google some places. Smelled the aroma of something awesome. Turned around and there it was. Our newest favorite place. I have no words to describe this restaurant other than when the owner asked how everything is, I said on a scale of 1 to 15, I give you a 37‼️ladies and gentlemen, if you're not in the area, it is well worth the trip. Absolutely the best.

My Happy Place! I moved to Satellite Beach 11 years ago. It didn’t take long for Hula Moon to become my favorite local restaurant. In all this time it’s still my favorite restaurant. I’d give some hints on best dishes, but honestly, there are so many. All the seafood dishes are fabulous (poke nachos! Grouper and polenta!). The only non-fish dish I’ve had often is the lettuce wraps appetizer—so good.

Food was mediocre and some plates cold and sent back to be microwaved with no apology offered. Extremely long wait time after ordering (1hr+) for standard menu items its possible with the cold dishes served the food sat for a while before being brought to us. Staff was not rude but definitely not friendly. Specialty alcohol drinks were ok. Would not go back.

A great restaurant in the Indian Harbor beach area This restaurant, I believe, is the one of a kind. It is located in a building in front of Lowe’s close to A1A. There is plenty of parking owing to the lots along 2 sides of the restaurant and an entire parking lot behind the building. It is in the corner lot of a building of shops. It has a Polynesian/surfing look to its sign and many of the decorations inside. According to their website, “Hula Moon is a modern take on the American tiki bars of the 1950’s and 60’s.” Their food is a mix of American pub food and Polynesian-style dishes like poke bowls, tacos, sandwiches, and seafood. They have a full liquor right in front of the door as you enter. The seating areas are a mix of booths and tables to the right and left of the bar along with some tables outside. We were greeted by a hostess and escorted to a table. They have a good mix of foods and dishes. We ordered the lettuce wraps, a Shanghai Shrimp Bowl, and a Black-n-Blue Steak Salad. All of these came out quickly and were delicious. Most appetizers run from $10-$15 and most meals are about $15-$20. The location was clean and very relaxing. The staff was pleasant. The prices were reasonable for the economy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that I would try again and recommend to anyone wanting a good meal in the area.

All good wife and I really liked the Mahi mahi

Mediocre food at best. The stuffed flounder was cooked as if half of it was hanging off the skillet, over cooked on one end under cooked the other. My wife got the orange chicken, which is a goop smothered chicken with chunks of CANNED pineapple in a Polynesian restaurant. Rice was ok, and the kids liked the chicken bites. Most people seemed to be there for alcohol. I can only assume the overwhelming good reviews are from drunk people or the typical Local native who has the taste pallette of a woodpecker or an aligator. Most of the food seemed to be prepared from pre-packaged meals, which was confirmed by the waitress. Typical for Brevard. Hour plus to Orlando seems to be the go-to move. I have only found 2 restaurants in this area worthy of a positive review. If you want a real high-end dinner, you must travel 2 hours to Palm Beach.

The Long Island iced tea was pale yellow-needed a bit more cola for the “tea” appearance and the drink was weak. The stuffed flounder was not only dry, the seasoning rub was incredibly salty and unpleasant. My husband’s orange chicken was tender but lacking flavor. For the number of great reviews that I read that I used to base our visit upon, we were highly disappointed. We would not return.

Waited one hour for our appetizer of volcano bites another hour half for entrees I ordered the Mediterranean salmon. It was so dry I had to send it back. I never sent back a plate ever we decided to leave and won’t be back anytime soon. Service had no communication skills I had to ask about our food she could have let us know about wait times. It’s all new staff and kitchen staff they need some work to get back to what they used to be.

I remember Hula Moon catching my eye last time I was in the area, but never made it during that visit. Finally had an opportunity tonight and we had a great experience. We had the fried shrimp tacos - fried plantains - and the sticky sesame shrimp! Everything was so good. The presentation was awesome and our server was super friendly Overall, the portions - quality - pricing - atmosphere - and employees were a 10/10 and we will be back every time we are in the area!

We used to go there quite a bit, but we were informed that they no longer have table service outside even if they aren't busy. We chose to leave and go elsewhere.

Food is good, large portions and the menu is pretty extensive. They do appear to be short staffed right now, we waited about 10 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. Then, she was a little put out that we were ready to order our food, and not just drinks. They also have a decent patio area, but aren't using it currently (we actually attempted to eat here a couple of weeks ago, but we had our dog with us, so needed patio seating). Our food was prepared perfectly though, I wish I could remember the names of the dishes.....One was a pulled pork dish with fried rice and plantain, and one was the catch of the day. We will definitely go back.

Melbourne, FL. Everything here is great! That’s what the locals say. It’s an upscale Maui-resort-style restaurant. Contemporary Hawaiian reggae played in the background as we dined. I’m from Hawaii and I loved it. This local community loves Hawaii; there are many poke’ style eateries, tiki bars and even apartment complexes with Hawaiian names near this restaurant. I had the Luau Pork Plate and my husband had the Crab and Shrimp Cake sandwich. Everything was so good we cleaned our plates. So to my fellow kamaainas and Reese, I’m sorry, they didn’t have lomi lomi salad, mac salad, haupia, kulolo, long rice, or oxtail soup BUT they did do a healthy version of kalua pig! The pork was sooooo good, tender and not greasy with a lightly smoky flavor. And everything else tasted awesome. So come on in kamaainas and friends, you will feel the aloha spirit here!

The food is amazing, but unfortunately, they often do not answer the phone, making placing a take order very difficult. I went there to place the order and to ask about the phone not getting answered. The bartender snapped at me that “we don’t do take out when it gets busy.” She preceded to take my order and almost immediately after our conversation, took an order over the phone. When I came to pick up my food, I met the guy who ordered over the phone. He said he was left on hold for 30 minutes… it’s too bad, but we won’t do that again.

This was a great restaurant to find after searching for a nice place to sit and enjoy. Just had knee surgery and had my first outpatient doctor's appointment. Before going home back to Vero Beach, I and my friend decided to grab some dinner and we found Hula Moon. I will recommend it and be back again. 10+ on everything about your restuarant.

Stumbled on this Polynesian Tiki Grill today. What a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was very casual and laid back. Our server was friendly and attentive. Suggesting the best of the menu. Our meals were excellent. Prepared and presented perfectly. The flavor was completely enjoyable. We will definitely return again.

This is a wonderful little restaurant. The interior has some amazing tikis and a relaxing atmosphere. Our food was exceptional and our wait staff were spot on with her food recommendations. In short a wonderful meal and wonderful staff. I highly recommend this place.

Hula la la. We've been staying locally for three weeks now, and this is the best restaurant we've eaten at. Sesame shrimp was excellent, as was the tuna appetiser. Would definitely recommend.

Food was not great. I then ended up with food poisoning afterwards. I attempted to call Hula Moon to notify them of the event. The person I spoke with was very harsh. Instead of a simply apology, she acted like that could never happen... stay away unless you want to vomit for endless hours.

My favorite hang out and drink and eat place. Great food and fun people.

Been enjoying this establishment for many years now, I love the high quality authentic food. Some of the most beautiful fresh tuna in town period. Other top favorite is any dish with pork. Very nice staff, and pretty interior.

We decided to try out Hula Moon for my husband's bday dinner with my parents who live in Melbourne. We were not disappointed. We arrived early, 5:30 on a Saturday night, and it was not busy yet (but it did fill up by the time we left). We started with the Lava Flow Piña Colada, (Absolutely Delicious) and the Wahoo dip with kettle chips. The dip was cheesy and addicting; I had to fight my parents to get a bite! (⁠◠⁠‿⁠◕⁠) My dad and I had the Mongo Beef bowl. The beef tips were flavorful and tender and the added toppings were all good. I would definitely order again. Mom got the coconut shrimp. It was a large portion of 10 shrimp and a heaping mound of rice. She enjoyed it, but did say the rice could use some salt. My husband ordered the Luau Pork plate. The pork portion was large and it was tender and tasty. He tried the Hawaiian fried rice and enjoyed it. He commented he liked it more than our cilantro rice. We were too full to try dessert, but next time I would like to try the sweet plantain dessert. The service was great too! Our server was very friendly, answered any questions we had and was quick to refill drinks. She was attentive without hovering. The kitchen was quick to get our food out. Overall, I recommend this restaurant.
