Great Place!! Came with my family and all of our meals were excellent. So glad we stopped there before Defenders Day celebrations

Bartender Larissa served me beautifully- a gumbo to die for, generous Pino Noir pours, and a chocolate peanut butter pie that Owner Dan informs was crafted by his wife. Watched an O’s walk-off home run upon exiting which crescendo’d an amazing Locust Point afternoon (lousy weather notwithstanding). The locals made me feel right to home. What more can you ask for?!

Great burger, great wings, great service. Is a little loud and cramped, but it’s worth it for the food.

Came in for lunch while it was quiet. I thought I liked the atmosphere until I saw how dirty the glasses were on the shelf. One of the photos shows what could either be a layer of dust or grime on the glasses. And they were immediately beneath dirty old bottles, which I assume is decor, but looked gross next to the glasses they do use. Shrimp sandwich was fine, though the bun was dry and fell apart quickly, leaving me to eat the shrimp with a fork. The Philly cheesesteak is not a Philly cheesesteak. It had sandwich veggies and cheddar cheese. It was not great.

This was our second time hosting an event in the Commodore Room, and it was just perfect. Chef Maurice's menu hit the mark....especially that crab dip! Service by Michelle and James was lovely. They were friendly and responsive.

For years, Hull Street Blues wa s one of my favorite spots. Dan, Jade, and others did a great job. Today, I walked in after a long hiatus and noticed two dogs in the bar. One standing next to its owner, and a smaller dog held upright in her lap. Clearly, not a service dog. I left disappointed without ordering. Sorry, Dan. Sorry, Jade.

I have been here a few times. It is always a roll of the dice regarding the competence and attitude of your server. This most recent time she tacked on an additional tip beyond what I wrote! Hucksters. Beware.

This is a nice, tucked away spot in Locust Point. Walkable streets, well lit at night. The food is delicious and the Stagg are super friendly. The shrimp salad on lettuce was delicious.

Game day special for food was awesome! Good local bar

Wife and her friends were Leary to go in once we showed up. Nothing fabulous but the food was good! We went on a weekday lunch in the winter.

It’s basically a working class bar in a gentrified neighborhood. So the food is a cut above. Bartender Rissa ( hope I’m spelling that correctly) is good.

Not only was the bartender amazing but this place set two new records for me: BEST orange crush & BEST cream of crab I've had in all of MD. I consider myself a crush connoisseur and it exceeded my expectations. The cream of crab was CHONKY with meat. 🦀 Never change 🤘

Great spot for a bite to eat. Bartender came up with his own watermelon margarita and it was out of this world! Will definitely be visiting again

Stopped in for lunch after visiting Fort McHenry. Nice atmosphere, wasn’t too busy and food was good. Right in the heart of a bunch of historic old row houses. Would visit again!

I enjoyed a delicious hamburger with fries and pink lemonade and it was delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Came for a benefit event and CANNOT WAIT to go back! In an area that is a little "off the beaten track", but totally worth it. The bar itself has a casual, kitschy, historic vibe and the owner and all the bartenders/servers are completely on the mark. A true neighborhood bar if ever there was one! The only reason I have a 4 star for food is not because the food wasn't stellar (which it was), but only because there weren't a bunch of choices.

We welcomed to a delicious brunch on a sunny Sunday. Our waitress and owner were most accommodating and we fit right in with the growing crowd. We all ordered the avacado toast and enjoyed festive drinks with it.

Consistency. That's a hallmark of a great restaurant. Every meal (no matter what it is) every drink, dessert and the service has never not been great. I've been a handful of times and this place is a gem. Crabcake sandwich, in particular, is dynamite.

Favorite bar in Baltimore! Great food and an awesome atmosphere. Everyone in there, from the staff to the other patrons are super nice. Full length shuffle board table, a juke box and a separate room for dining if you want some quiet space. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

This is a great neighborhood bar with a great atmosphere that has consistent clientele- this is one of those places you see the same people often. Staff and Dan the owner are all really friendly and welcoming, maybe some more than others. The food however leaves some to be desired. The fries are really good and I like the steamship round beef sandwich but mostly everything else is fairly sub-par. This is a place that you should go to to drink, and nothing else- it's a great place for that.

Janell and Kelli behind the bar are the greatest drink servers this side of the Patapsco. Their ability to serve their customers is matched by none, and anyone who has the pleasure of being served by them are truly the luckiest patrons on earth. I can't get enough of them.

Haven’t been here in such a long time. Sevices was outstanding and the food was great. The owner came out sat with us talked about old times. Hill Street Blues still has it after all these years, and the wonderful people who hang out and make it a enjoyable place to come. Thanks. Cigarettes!!! They even have a machine from days gone by. Something you don’t see anymore.

Here for lunch on Tuesday. I got a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Oh yeah, this is what I'm looking for for my lunch. Thanks to Jared, the bartender. He's a very cool guy and is approachable.

Food was good. Service could have been much better. Bartender forgot my food (crab Mac and cheese) order twice. After I asked about it she didn’t come back to tell me what was going on. 10 minutes later she asked if wanted to order any food… When I raised the issue with her that I’d been there for 40 minutes and hadn’t gotten it when others had she looked up the order and simply stated the order was only put in 9 minutes ago (which was the first time I’d asked about it)… The two groups that came in after me ordered, ate their food and left prior to me getting my food. I usually try to support/eat at local mom and pop type restaurants when I travel…

Great local pub with great grub! Definitely one of the best Ruben sandwiches with thick cor Ed beef and good sauerkraut. Had a wonderful Quiet Storm red ale outside on a warm but not too hot day. I can tell the locals gather as a community here and I can see why! This place keeps it real.

We were just out and about for the day, checking out Locust Point when we came upon Hull Street Blues Cafe. It was lunch time, so we stopped in and were glad we did! It’s a friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant with a decent size menu and relaxing atmosphere. Kelly was very nice and our food (all American bfast and chicken & waffles) was delicious! Will definitely be telling our friends and look forward to visiting again!

When it takes 10 years to go back and its as good as you remember it, thats a big win in my book.

Hull Street Blues is always a great time. Hank and crew are the best. If you haven't been, go. Then go again.

Went for a family get together in this place I have mentioned several times to my kids, because owner Kathy and Dan are my cousins. So happy we went. An historic building with a beautiful fireplace, lovely table settings, and delicious food. And can't forget the bar! Good times!

For clarification- I ate and had a few drinks at the bar. I am from out of town. I ordered the crab cake sandwich for lunch. Seemed weird but I went with it. It was so amazing that if I was still hungry I would have ordered another. The drinks are well made by a very friendly bartender who made sure I was doing good. Even then, she would still chat with some of the locals and seems to be friends with a few of them. The bar itself is DOPE. Irish bar with some seafaring stuff around gives it a nice atmosphere. It was chill with no trouble makers. 6/5, would recommend. Get some crab cakes because they are SO DAMN GOOD.

They will determine what's on your plates.. if you want to to put a dressing on your salad, you're out of luck. Salad comes WITH A TOUCH OF DRESSING at the bottom of the salad. You can detect a tiny amount on some lettuce. I've been trying to get along with some peeps that work there. But no more. Find your tips somewhere else. To arrogant and problematic for the anymore.

We met some amazingly intersting locals here! Bartenders super friendly & willing to make my wife's Mermaid Water which tasted awesome & should B regular on the menu. I had the grapefruit squeeze which was OMG good 4 someone who drinks these in FL the home of Indian River Grapefruit. Very interesting place that tourists should visit to discover the real Baltimore!

Really excellent. Have had their specials twice now and they have been superb. Some of the best fishes dishes I've ever had.

While on our wedding anniversary weekend getaway, my wife and I stumbled onto/into this place by chance. While walking back to our hotel from Fort McHenry, we walked through the Locust Point neighborhood and on a hot and humid day, needed to get some refreshments and sit for a bit. The name and it’s quaint appearance attracted us immediately and we weren’t disappointed. The second we walked through the door, we were welcomed warmly by the bartender, Jade and her father. They made us feel right at home, like we were neighborhood regulars and helped us decide on our refreshment choices. After a second round of refreshments and good conversation, we had to head back to get ready for dinner reservations, but our time in Hull Street was a definite highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!

Excellent neighborhood spot with attentive service. Type of place where the staff knows more than half the customers. They volunteered the upstairs space to change our two year old, super helpful.

Hosted a birthday party there. The staff was wonderful and Dan, the owner, could not have been more welcoming! Food was so good!

Nice and friendly people work here. The indoor dining area is not impressive but it is clean and well maintained. The general vibe was positive. The neighborhood is very nice and there are outdoor tables available if the weather permits. The food is pretty decent. Overall I had a great experience.

Great establishment in Locust Point, awesome interior & decorations within plus tasty menu items and affordable drink prices! Outdoor seating as well as a larger side room for bigger parties, and even have a regulation sized shuffleboard!

I absolutly love a good bloody Mary. The one I had a Hull Street blues was lack luster, no old bay, no garnish whatsoever, and the mix wasn't flavorful. I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly enough. There was a buddy board where friends who weren't there together could buy each other drinks. I like that idea. The room was cold, probably due to the age of the building, large single pane bay windows that flank old french doors with a gap at the bottom. The food was delicious. That's why I gave 4 stars.

This is a Truly Baltimorean cafe. A real Americana setting with no pretention. And between the owner Dan and chef Morrisio, they have you comfortably nestled in for some of Morrison's magical mixture's. Goodness gracious, I love that Menu.....

Beautiful evening sitting outside, there was a Salmon special with crab risotto absolutely incredible, the Brussels sprouts were amazing! Highly recommend

Some of the best wings in Baltimore. The owner is friendly. The customer service is great. A neighborhood feel and vibe. If you’re into adult beverages they’re delicious and affordable.

You can not go wrong here. First: Food: Family dinner so we had different things. Crab and artichoke dip, steak, boneless rib, cream of crab soup, crab mac and cheese, and fish tacos. Desserts are literally homemade. All of them, and everything I mentioned was beyond delicious. The service was given with a smile and good energy. I would def go back.

Went to an event there last night. A median. Very very disappointing however the food and the staff was unreal. You felt the friendlyness of the bar. Would def go back again just not to see that Median
