Overall this place would not be a go to for me. The seating was fine and we got quick service but my gosh was it RUSHED. Ordered pollo marsala and tortellini and honestly the portion sizes are NOT worth the cost ($24 and $16 respectively) the sauce for the tortellini was sweet and there were only maybe 8 tiny ones on there. The Marsala was better the flavor was good but again the portions were TINY. We werent really checked on that much and when we were we felt rushed to eat and get out. Ordered tiramisu thinking it was a slice like most places only for it to come in a TINY JAR with 2 little spoons. The texture was terrible and you could tell it was old as the lady fingers basically didnt exist anymore. Overall spent $62 BEFORE tip and left hungry. This was a first time experience and probably will be the last as the portions just Don t make sense for the prices you pay.

What can I say. If you like Italian food, this is the place to go. Of course it is adapted, but it is closer to the original in terms of flavors.

What a wonderful experience! I enjoyed brunch, with my granddaughters, in this intimate, authentic Italian restaurant. Everything we had, from the bruschetta, to the dessert flight, was on point. Yikes. This was an extremely disappointing dining experience, and the price is outrageous for the portion size. The tortellini dishes were small and extremely bland, and the bruschetta was 4 tiny slivers of chewy bread. Definitely won’t be eating here again. Left hungry and disappointed.

This restaurant markets itself as Italian, but I personally didn't feel that the food lived up to authentic Italian cuisine. In my opinion, while the staff and the owner are enthusiastic, it seemed to me that their experience with genuine Italian cooking might be limited. Have they ever been in Italy? Do they know authentic Italian food!? Considering the cost, which can be around $100 per person, I didn't find the value comparable to my expectations for Italian food. For a similar experience, I might consider going to Olive Garden

Now this is just my opinion but parking was horrible. We had to literally park two blocks away. They do offer valet parking but you're going to tie up traffic waiting to get to the valet. They do serve bread but it was stale. The food was so-so. And I eat a lot of Italian food. My bill came to close to $200 and to be honest I'd rather have just gone to Papa gio's who serves excellent food and spent a third of that price. The place has potential. Give it a shot because this is just my opinion.

This was an awful experience. We arrived 30 minutes before our anniversary dinner and offered to go to the bar. The hostess told us they could seat us already so we followed her to sit. They bring the two of us to a four person high top table. I promptly ask if we could be at a table that was not a high top table, and she said she would look. She came back and said no, all the tables were full. Fine, okay not a huge deal, not a problem. For the rest of the night we had Taryn as our server, who rushed us through each course. We never finished a course without our food coming out, forcing us to quickly eat the previous course. We ordered a bottle of wine, apps, and dinner. The caprese salad was delicious, and their salami and cheese board was good. We paid extra for more bread to add to it. Within 5 minutes of receiving our apps, we had our food, so we quickly ate the apps to eat our dinners. We got the rigatoni al dorato, which while the flavor was good, the pasta was overcooked and COLD! We also ordered the Valtellina pizza which they only cut into 4 slices, so it is very hard to eat, but was tasty. Before we have finished our food, our server asks if we want boxes and dessert. We say yes, but we are still eating. We get coffee and dessert, and when we are half way done, she comes back to ask if we want the check. We say yes and she drops the check. We are now fed-up and decide we should just go. We then wait almost 30 minutes for her to come back and take our check. I had to ask another server to check us out, and im assuming that server told taryn, because she came back. Additionally, over the course of our time there, no one sat at the two person regular height table behind us, so we couldve had that table. This was one of the worst dinners out we have ever had in columbia, and we will not be returning. I would not recommend ever spending the money to go to this “nice” place for dinner and having anywhere near the experience we had. Go somewhere else.

This was massively disappointing. We’ve been eyeing Italian places in Columbia for months and we were so excited for this meal. First, the “wine bar” aspect in the logo is not accurate. Yes, there’s a small wine list but they basically only have dry wines (our waitress confirmed this) and not really any sweet cocktails either so if you’re a sweet drinker, you’re out of luck. The wine list at Olive Garden covers more audience than here. The burrata was great and that’s what we expected of the entire meal but unfortunately wasn’t the case. We both got pasta, tortellini and the special of the weekend lobster ravioli. The tortellini a la stephania was in a tart red sauce that was pretty pungent and did not taste homemade. The dish was covered in sauce. More sauce than I’ve really ever seen in an Italian dish, especially coming from a “scratch Italian kitchen” The tortellini is the same you’d get in the freezer section at any grocery store. Same for the ravioli, the sauce was suppose to be lemon and dill cream, not sure if they just ran out of it and tried to pull a fast one but there was no lemon or dill flavor at all or even any actual pieces of dill and the ravioli, even the lobster filling (which was bright orange/red??), was the exact quality I get from Trader Joe’s. The sauce tasted like earthy? Nothing felt homemade, nothing tasted like something you’d want to order again, basically all around a disappointment. The only little light in this experience was our waitress Sophie. She was awesome. Also, the white ceiling tiles are filthy and have water damage/mold on them which is massively off putting to patrons. This was just so, so sad. Really wanted this to be a great new spot for this.

The food was absolutely mediocre. I ordered Papardelle with Cinghiale sauce. I lived in Italy and know what Papardelle is and what cinghiale sauce is. This was not that. The pasta was tagliatelle from a grocery store and the sauce was a can of San Marzano tomatoes with a small touch of ground pork. My wife ordered the Red Snapper special. The fish was tasteless and ridiculously overdone and dry. We ate at 5:30 and the fish was like that, I can only imagine what those who dined at 8:00 got. The appetizer was advertised as Speck but it was cooked pork, that is not Speck. It is air cured pork in Italy and not dtasteless as was Il Giorgione's. Service was inept and disinterested. I will definitely NOT be returning nor will I recommend the restaurant to anyone else.

Was in Columbia for training for work. Found this place and figured I give it a shot. Sat at the bar and watched some March Madness. Immediately one of the bartenders asked me what I wanted to drink and handed me a menu. Asked her what she recommended to eat. Food came out fast and was delicious. The other bartender asked if I would like some bread to dip in the sauce and yes that would be great, he walked to the kitchen and got me the bread in no time! Watched both bartenders make drinks in front of me and they know what they are doing, actually measuring each pour and proper stirring or shaking and not guessing on any mixtures. Overall it was a great experience and talked to the manager to let her know it was great! Food was fresh and amazing! Will for sure be back with the wife for another great experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about the couple who owns this restaurant and the hardworking staff here. I've seen a lot of smaller restaurants that are owned by rude people and the owners here are very honest and hardworking people. They use actual San Marzano tomatoes for their sauce which most restaurants won't do and you can really taste the difference. You can taste the difference in all of their ingredients. The owner knows so much about authentic Italian cuisine and if you haven't had real Italian dishes before it might seem different for you but I promise it is incredible. The prices may be a little higher but you are paying for quality ingredients and recipes so you can ultimately have a great dining experience. If I want to save money I just cook my own food at home. If I want to spend some money and have an incredible dinner experience I go to a place like this. I hope the owners and staff do not change the way they do things.

My wife and I dined here tonight and we were honestly disappointed. Our server (Bailey) was great. She had a great personality, attentive, polite, and over all made it a great experience. We ordered appetizers and had the Salumi e Formaggi and it was good. We had the small order and we do wish we’d gotten the larger one because it was good. We also got the bruschetta. It was good but it only came with 3 small pieces of bread compared to the bruschetta. The table bread was used to subsidize and that worked. I got the cesare Classica and was very disappointed. The portion size was good but the dressing was very bland. Between the cheese and croutons, that was the only flavor on it. We both got the pollo Marsala and it was fantastic. The sauce was amazing, the chicken cooked perfectly, the mushrooms and all were great. We also got the margherita pizza and it was also very disappointing. While cooked well, it honestly tasted like any other frozen margherita pizza I’ve ever had from the store. I don’t feel like it was anything exceptional despite this place being more known for pizza. To top off dinner, we got the cannoli’s. That was definitely the most disappointing part of the whole meal. I’m a self proclaimed lover of cream cheese so I was very excited to try their cannoli. Immediately after taking my first bite, I was done. I’m not sure how to describe it other than a sort of dry powdery taste. I don’t know if they are using some other type of cream cheese I’ve never had before, but this did not taste like any of I’ve tried. Over all, it’s a low star rating just because the price of the food did not match what got. Not 100% bad but not exciting. Not our cup of tea.

We went out to dinner last night and it was our first time here. The atmosphere was nice and the food was good, and the server (I believe her name was Jenny/Jennifer) was even nice as well. However, she was not very transparent when telling us about the menu. I ordered a regular old fashioned and she convinced us to us to try this 'specialty' old fashion that was on the menu, but neglected to tell us the price of this drink ($45...) Not to mention I have spoken to others who have eaten here as well who have been served by her and she did the same thing to them with a $35 glass of wine. She was very nice but this is unacceptable and she really should be more transparent to her customers.

We used to eat at Il Giorgione frequently before it was sold to the new owners but our visits tapered off after we realized that we had experienced essentially everything on their small menu. The food was always good to excellent and service was polite and attentive. Our recent visit was however a disappointment. There were only three entrees on the menu and one of them, the capers, was unavailable. A couple of the items that were ordered at our table were exceptionally good, namely wild boar pappardelle and sauteed spinach. Everything else was at best, average. The Margherita pizza was overcooked and its crust was dry and almost tasteless. "Focaccia" was served with the meal. It looked and tasted more like Southern yeast roles and in no way resembled real Italian Focaccia. Service was all right overall but at times we felt like we were being rushed. Antipasti and soups seem to instantly appear yet we later had an extended wait for our main dishes. Oddly enough, the server did not clear the silverware between courses asking us instead to "hold our knives and forks". My goodness.

My boyfriend and I came here toward closing time and were presently surprised. -the atmosphere was warm and inviting. -Taryn was knowledgeable and address small concerns that we had quickly. -we order the soup of the day, Chicken Secondi, Carbonara, and Panna Cotta. Our soup (Corn and Potato Chowder) did come out luke warm initially, but was quickly corrected, piping hot, and definitely enjoyed. My boyfriend is not a fan of chicken breast while eating out, but they knocked it out of the park with a juicy seared piece of chicken. My Carbonara was a slice of heaven. So simple with only a few ingredients, but exactly what I was looking for! The guanciale was meaty and fatty goodness. This meal was definitely comfort food. My only con is the panna cotta which had a beautiful consistency and the peach jam added some depth... the textures are similar and I was left wanting a crunch or crisp of something. We were the last guest to leave the dining and happily danced out of the door. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting simple ingredients made with great care. We will be back and hope that the experience is even better. I also appreciate the portions not being oversized Americanized!!!!

Great salads, pasta was good but selection limited (very few dishes with meat sauce). Service and atmosphere just ok.

Tonight I went out with a friend, and we wanted to do something fancy. So we chose this little Italian place! Cute place, cute outdoor seating! Food was all presented so beautifully! Menu could honestly explain more of what comes with your dish, a lot items that could use more of an explanation. I only gave 3 stars, because my food was excellent, but I have a dairy allergy. All the pasta contains dairy and cheese within the sauces. Super inconvenient to someone with an allergy. Only thing I could find was the $48 steak. That’s almost too much for what was on my plate. Just a steak and handful of mushrooms. I’d come again, but possibly hope they get some dairy free options for next visit!

We had a reservation for lunch, and our table was ready upon our arrival. The server was attentive and friendly. The caprese salad as an appetizer was enjoyed by all. The pasta salad served with my sandwich was exceptional. The individual pizzas had an enjoyable thin crust. Two in our group had pizza to take home. The teramisu should not he passed up. It was a perfect ending to our meals.

Absolutely Fantastic. The service by Jenny was amazing. Their wine list is incredible. Their Caesar salad is the best I’ve ever had.

I wanted so badly to like Il Giorgione. It seemed like a great, charming little place. We tried it twice. Both times the service was good, but we weren’t pleased with our meals. The first time, we ordered a Caesar salad and a couple of pizzas. The bread they brought out before the meal was nice, as was the salad. The pizzas were marginal at best. Although our first meal wasn’t great, there was a couple sitting next to us that was talking with the server about how much they enjoy going to the restaurant and trying the different specials. We thought perhaps we had just ordered wrong and should give the place another shot—and not order pizzas. We did so about a month later and ended up sitting on the patio. This time they didn’t bring bread. I’m not sure what the rules are on whether or not they bring bread, but it wasn’t really an issue. We were talked out of a vegetable starter by our server in favor of a sashimi option. Again we ordered a Caesar salad, but decided to avoid the pizzas this time. We both opted for pasta dishes—a carbonara and something else that was one of our server’s favorites. While waiting for our entrees, a pesky fly decided to join us. Oh well. We were outside after all. Our starter and salad arrived. We didn’t care much for the starter, although the sauce served with it was flavorful. The Caesar was fine, like it was on our previous visit. Then we noticed the table of three behind us, who had been seated a few minutes after us. There were dozens of flies orbiting them and their table—so much so that the gentleman had placed his tin of Altoids (which are curiously strong mints, in case you were unaware or had forgotten) atop his wine glass to protect his drink from the flies. The lady with him was constantly waving her arms in an attempt to swat the flies away. They asked their server if they might be able to be seated inside and were granted the request. We ate very little of the starter and asked our server to take it away. Our entrees came out and were exceptionally underwhelming. The carbonara was only okay and the dish my wife ordered was borderline flavorless and rather boring. We ate some of our entrees, as more and more flies migrated from the other table toward us, paid our bill and headed out. The service was good during both visits and I really, really wanted to like Il Giorgione, but I doubt we’ll be returning.

Had a great meal here tonight. Got the chicken saltimbocca and it was amazing. Not a huge portion either so you have room for dessert. Shared the tiramisu parfait and it was also delicious. Will definitely be back.

I ate here with a couple of friends who are all pretty big eaters. Like, finish a whole pizza by themselves big eaters. Everything we tried was amazing from appetizers to entrees to desserts. However, when we left, we all gave each other the little side eye that said “you’re still hungry, right?” Which led us to order some more food to go. Again, can not emphasize enough how good the food was, but prepare for a midnight snack if you’re a hungry hungry human.

Just done brunch , a full house ! Had the pizza calabrese ( spicy salami) and rigatoni al dorata.. top notch dishes, service and vibe ! Old post: Second visit post new owners.Doing a great job, also on social media side, wine and dinner events, etc . We had a Thai curry mussel soup.. fantastic, followed by the dishes in pics attached..cod was great if small, pizza requested to add anchovy ( more next time please) and could have been a few more seconds in the oven .. overall very enjoyable . Cannoli for dessert ( there was one, so really cannolo), elevated from the previous offering of 2 smaller ones . Ricotta filling was a bit heavy on almond flavor and crust a bit light and wafery v crispy / crunchy, but will have again . Sat at the bar, great crew ! Looking forward to next trip, hopefully on the patio ! Older post : First visit after take over by new owner. It was an elevated experience for sure, menu additions, table ware, etc . Outstanding mushroom soup ( bread would be good ), and rabbit / rice stuffed peppers, a really well prepared dish . ( could have been a tad hotter). We sat outside on patio, and this is one area that could be added to the upgrades, poor lighting, a bit run down and untidy . Summers coming !

This is not a write-off review; I've heard such good things about this place that it definitely deserves a second chance, so I will be back and update the review afterward. I visited on Sunday and was promptly seated for brunch. I had a Peach Bellini that was very sharp and sparkling - there was no table bread, which I understand is a very chain restaurant thing, so I was okay with that. I ordered the Patate alla Carbonara, which came very quickly, and I was sadly disappointed and left wishing I'd ordered the purgatory eggs instead. Some of my issues might have been just "me" things, which is part of what makes me want to try again. I've never had anything Carbonara, so I was surprised and repulsed by the meat. It appeared like thick cuts of bacon (though I know it's not) but it was very gristly and the aftertaste made me ill. The potato chunks were fork tender but seasoned only with pepper - it might have made the dish more appealing and complex in texture to have left some of the skin on them. They may have been seasoned with salt also, but the carbonara and the Romano cheese have their own, therefore combined together this was actually an overwhelming amount and each bite ended up tasting like pure sodium and made my heart palpitate like crazy. I had a side of red pepper flakes brought to the table which did help make the flavor more complex, but it was still so grotesquely oversalted that I couldn't finish what I ordered. My husband had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Rapini and was not impressed, thinking it too bland. Again, we added the pepper flakes and some Romano cheese, but with his it came together very beautifully afterward. He stated he wouldn't get it again but when I tasted it, I thought it was wonderfully light, not bland. Just a disappointing portion size for $14. We had the tiramisu before leaving, which was lovely. It didn't have a lot of formed ladyfinger bits at the bottom, but it was very nice. Over all, we spent $53 (excluding tip) and weren't in love with what we got, but we are willing to come back and try again at dinner, which seems to be the meal course they get the best reviews for.

I went specifically for the carbonara because it is hard to find in Columbia, but it was inedible. It had chunks of cooked egg whites with other parts of raw uncooked egg. My husband’s meal was better, but such a smallportion he had to eat a sandwich when we got home. Disappointing. My meal was taken off our check because it was so bad, but it should have never come to the table the way it was.

Food and atmosphere were above average but the service was very rushed. From the moment we sat down, we were hounded by the waitress to order only to find out later we only had the table for 90 minutes. There is no mention of that policy on the website and it was not mentioned when I made the reservation. Had I known, I would have gone somewhere else for the evening. I will not go back again.

Jenny Cherry, you were by far the best server we have ever had here. We’ve been coming here for 3 years and never knew you could get the cheese ravioli in the dorado meat sauce. Total game changer!! She is the best and deserves a raise!

We came here for our Anniversary and sadly We got disappointed. The service was great very polite and attentive BUT the food (tortellini alla Stefania/Bruschetta) had no taste at all, the food came out in less than 2 min which for efficiency might sound great but for quality it does not; we asked for pepper to give some flavor but not even with that, we eat it (it was late and we were hungry) but for $16 per plate it was really not worth it. Wine and cocktails were good.

We love this restaurant and frequently get to go food. Love the carbonara but the old meat they used was better than the current one they are using now. Would be nice if they could go back.

Finally got to visit Il Giorgione for dinner. Service was great and attentive. Our party tried 3 different entrées so we could each get a sample. Pizza, pappardelle, and saltimbocca were each delicious.
