The calamari stole the show! It was perfectly fried, super light, airy, and crispy. It went downhill from there. The Cesar salad dressing was NOT good, and there was a lot of it. 😵‍💫 It made my mouth pucker it was borderline bitter and definitely salty. The fettuccine Alfredo was good, but they suggested I add chicken, so I did. The chicken was bland and barely edible. I ate the pasta & sauce and took the chicken home for my dog. My dinner mate enjoyed their sausage, but again, their chicken was bland and inedible, I took that chicken home for the dog as well. The tiramisu was tasty. The canoli cream was good, the shell was lackluster. The decor in the place is clearly old school, which I can appreciate, but DUSTY AF!!! We sat at a booth which had fake plants vining up the lattice work next to us, and they were covered in dust. 🤢

There are a lot of Itilian restaurants in Orlando. Most of them are OK. And a ton of franchises, like a certain 'garden of olives', that are... fine. But we don't have a lot of really, truly, spectacular spots. This is one of them. The eggplant parm is amazing. The salads are big enough for two people. And the pizza? I started with a plain cheese as a barometer, just to get an idea of their style. It was pizza bliss. Plenty of cheese, a really great sauce, and it was baked to perfection. I'll be back any time I'm nearby. Edit: Google poked me for an update. We've since been back many times, and had dinner there just a few minutes ago. It's always perfect, always amazing, and always a great experience. Don't miss the bruchetta, the minestrone soup, and the calamari. The calzone is big enough to share, and then some.

Tina went above and beyond as our server. She is so friendly. She was wonderful and the food is always fabulous!!

The lasagna was outstanding to my taste.

It's the first time we've come and my husband and I were delighted with the food and attention. We will come back many more times.

Celebrated my mom's 75th birthday here. The atmosphere is good and the staff is amazing The food was very good and came out in good intervals. We had appetizers, our meal and desert. I highly recommend this place not only for the food but the people that work there.

I have been to IL Pescatore several times and always enjoy it. This trip I ordered the chicken parmesan, which I would give 5 out of 5 stars. It was an ample lunch portion, and include a nice side of rigatoni. The meal also included bread, but no longer includes the salad. Other people in our group ordered various dishes and seemed to enjoy them. This restaurant has nice table service and a pleasant atmosphere. The price of lunches is perhaps a dollar or two more than Fazoli's, what is infinitely better in every way. Yes, I will continue to return to IL Pescatore again and again.

Really well prepared Italian food old school restaurant. This is a throw back to what family Italian restaurants used to be like. Well prepared and plenty of it. Service was first rate. It's obvious they enjoy what they do and that they care about their customers experience.

Old school, family run Italian restaurant that does not disappoint. The food was excellent with nice size portions. The service was personable, friendly & prompt. For it being my first time, I was treated like a regular. Anette was my waitress and she was awesome. Highly recommend!

Everything is fresh and delicious, I got dinner here for my anniversary and it was an excellent choice. The chicken parm & Marsala are both amazing!

Came for late lunch today with my 2 daughters. All the staff are friendly, helpful and greet you. The restaurant is nice and cool, which is appreciated on a hot day. I ordered the special, which was alfredo with broccoli, and was permitted to share it with my younger daughter as we both can't finish any plate at a restaurant. My older daughter ordered plain cheese pizza. The Alfredo tasted good, different than the usual flavor. The sauce maybe was a little too rich for us as both my daughter and I started noticing indigestion pretty quickly, so we only ate a little. I'm sure not everyone will have the same experience, we have sensitive digestion. The salad was good and I enoyed it, and the garlic bread was good. I didn't have any of the pizza, it didn't look like my style of pizza (a little greasy, which my stomach can't handle), but my older daughter liked it. My glass did have a small bug in it, which was unusual for a nice restaurant but I guess could happen anywhere, I unfortunately didn't notice it until after I took a drink of my water, but our server apologized and brought a fresh glass quickly. Which brings me to the area I'd like to see improved! Please get a water filter. I understand water is given at no charge for the customer so maybe it's not a priority, but this city water here is undrinkable when unfiltered. My daughter actually said it was the worst water she'd ever drank. I had been to this restaurant years earlier and had the same experience so I didn't even try their tap water and ordered a bottled water, which the 3 of us ended up sharing. This was my grandmother's favorite restaurant and we ate here today in her honor after having visited her grave today. (She always got their spaghetti with meat sauce).If invited by a friend/family member I would come back, and try a pasta with red sauce the next time.

Tina our waitress was wonderful and made it a very special experience. The scallopini sauce isn’t very good but otherwise our food was great. The pasta and tiramisu were both tasty and made fresh. The veal was tender. I recommend getting the antipasti. That was the best thing we ordered. All around it was a lot of fun

We just had lunch there with three friends. This was our first visit and both my wife and I absolutely loved it. Our server Ashley was knowledgeable and very efficient as well as friendly. The food was extremely good. Tony seated us in a nice large round table in the side room which made for a very nice place to dine and visit with our friends! We will definitely be back!

A classic family-run Italian restaurant, I wish I was in town for longer because I could see myself becoming a regular here! Great food and super friendly staff. We got the Tortellini Alla Panna and the calzone (which was huge!) and they were both so delicious. Highly recommend for those looking for authentic Italian food.

Ok, so this place was a hole in the wall and we had our doubts checking it out, but..OMG. the food is wonderful ! Everything was well seasoned and the portions were generous. There was so much food, we couldn't finish it all. It tastes like homemade family recipes. I immediately flashed back to my old grandpa's saying that I should never judge a book by its cover. Check this place out if you're in the Orlando area. We're from Michigan and realized that our Italian restaurants need to step up their game.

The best italian hidden, or not, secret in Orlando. The staff are incredibly friendly, the environment is old school, and the food is great. I can't say enough great things about this place, I feel regretful not going sooner than we did. The best!!!

This place is a gem. Small mom and pop restaurant with no frills, good food, and reasonable prices. I'll randomly stop here after work and have dinner as it's become my go to Italian restaurant. The atmosphere reminds me of eating at Pizza City in Kissimmee when I was growing up. Small, cozy, and satisfying. They've got a good espresso machine for coffee with dessert as well.

My family ate there today with our service dog,they where rude to him and the food was mediocre at best. Never again will I waste my time or money again.health inspector needs to visit this place.

vWe came in a party of 5 and had a reservation when entered the place we were told just take a table over there beside the coffeemachine, noone did escort us to the table! I did order a bottle of Banfi Chianti Riserva and was presented of a cheap bottle of something else which was quicky exchanged to the correct wine she did pull the cork and started poring wine in a small cheap glass and I said stop should I not taste the wine before u pore? So I had a tasting amount of wine in my glass but before I did aprove of it she continued to poure more wine in glass no 3! the specials of tonight was very rapidly talked and it was too many of them to remember any of them same with the deserts! Food was Linguine Carbonara absult tasteless, Shrimp Positano was ok according to my daughter, her husband had some kind of pasta with according to what I saw was covered with too much cheese and tomatosauce, their dauther had i kids pizza that was even too big for me to share with someone else, me I had Vitello Piccata served w my choice of pasta, I mean who have even heard of Veal served with pasta in Italy? And it should have been w lemonsauce sure there was some kind of sauce but I could not taste any lemon in it! I this place have many good reviews on T/A but as I have been to Italy and love Italian foods I do guess that most reviews is from people who dont know how Italian food should taste! So thanks for tonight I do promise I will never return to this place!

Great service but the food was really bad. My Cesar salad was a bowl of romaine with a few croutons and no cheese. A plastic container with poor quality Cesar dressing on the side. The bread was not good quality and the pasta dishes were inedible and not tasty. I would not recommend.

This is the only Italian place in Orlando I will go to now. It’s one of the best. I will only get the carbonara here. It’s phenomenal. The antipasto is fantastic. The cheesecake is to die for. And I’ve had the limoncello as well, it was very fresh and a perfect way to end a meal. Elvis was the best server I’ve had here. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wines they offered and his recommendation was perfect. I will always recommend this to anyone, especially people from out of town.

The food was mediocre, the staff were very kind, the decorations were extremely out dated….The reason i’m giving this a 1 star review is because the owner was so incredibly rude yelling at the waitresses over things that we as customers appreciated or didn’t notice. He yelled at one of the waitresses for getting me a new cup upon my request stating “why are you getting another cup people have to clean all these and you’re wasting them”. We felt absolutely terrible and the rest of our dinner was very uncomfortable having to continue to watch them all be treated so poorly. I do not support this behavior and WILL NOT be returning again !!!!!!!!!

We ordered for pickup but we were 20 minutes late. They kept the food warm for us! It was the best Italian food ive ever had. We also got every dessert except the chocolate and it was all AMAZING

food was delicious, had smelts for the first time in 50 years and they were great. We went early and it was very quiet in the restaurant, service was great. Portions of canneloni florentine and pollo alla picatta were plentiful. We had a very nice, quiet dinner but it can get busy and crowded.

Whoever gave this restaurant a good review has never had decent Italian cuisine. Chicken was like rubber, the carbonara had a gross cheese sauce on it and one of my kids started to cry they were so hungry and everything was inedible. The service was lovely but this establishment does NOT offer homemade pasta nor does it offer delicious Italian food. Decor was different so we avoided the restroom-best part was we had a good laugh over how bad everything was…we should’ve left

Quite possibly the best Italian restaurant in town. Parking can be tough on a busy night and it is tight quarters once you are in the restaurant. The decor could use a little updating, but what they lack in ambiance, they make up with their food. I've never had a dish I didn't like. Their chicken parm is the best in town, and their Alfredo sauce will have you coming back, and if you don't order their homemade Tiramisu, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. It is absolutely delicious.

Was excited to try this local orlando restaurant but was a bit disappointed . Service was so so. Had to find our waiter numerous times to refill our drinks. Salad servings was small and ambiance was tacky. Bathroom was gross . How authentic could it be if they did not serve freshly ground parmesan but Kraft brand parmesan.

Without the razzle dazzle of many other places in Orlando, Il Pescatore delivers delicious food. Try the Chicken di Stefano or the sampler. You won't be disappointed!!

Il Pescatore is a "Mom and Pop" style restaurant that serves a variety of Italian cuisine and homestyle comfort food. Its staff is friendly and accommodating and quick to address customer requests, questions or concerns. Ava, our server, ensured our food was cooked to order and promptly delivered. During our meal, there were several diners who appeared to be regular customers of the restaurant which a good sign where the locals eat.

This restaurant is like a not-very-well-hidden secret because everyone in the neighborhood seems to know about it and adore it. The food and atmosphere has an authentic feel and great taste, and the staff all make you feel like part of the family. It also has a superb wine collection that's not overly priced.

It's a great place to film a movie! I wish the lightning was a little more romantic. We only went for dessert! So I don't know how the Italian dishes are. Try the lemoncelllo and lemon cake

I had the eggplant stuffed with manicotti with rigatoni. My partner had the garlic, olive oil and parsley on linguine. Both were delicious. Each came with a fresh crisp house salad and a basket of garlic bread for the table. Everything was delish. The service is delightful!

My first time here. I LOVE IT! The service was excellent. The salad was fresh and cold, which I love. I was shocked at how quick the entrees came out; I wasn't done with the salad. But it was piping hot and sssooo delicious. I ordered the Gamberi Portofino. The 3 other people at the table loved their dishes, as well. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

This is an old little restaurant and aging has taken its toll. It's visited mainly by old-timers. The menu is limited and the price is pretty affordable, so what you can expect to be served as well.

I cannot say enough good things about this fine and authentic Italian restaurant. Started with a mussels appetizer, Cozze Bianco--the plumpest I've ever seen, deliciously presented in a white wine butter sauce. Use the Italian bread to sop up the sauce... The white bean minestrone was homemade and delicious, as a second course. Being Italian/Sicilian, I HAD to have pasta, so I chose linguini and meatballs (homemade meatballs, like mother used to make) with a side of delicious and tender Italian sausage. The dinner portion is so large, I opted to take it home for my midnight snack... Finished off the meal with a lemon and limoncello gelato, presented in a champagne glass. So delicious and refreshing, I wished they sold it by the pint! The service was excellent, everyone touched tables and ran food, and the ambience with the dulcet tones of Italian favorites made us want to tarantella. (But we restrained). This IS definitely the best non chain Italian restaurant in Orlando!

Excellent food! The Bolognese is the best I've had in many years. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the restaurant creates a welcome space for all. Will definitely return. We went there for my son's 26th birthday and he raved about it. We brought in balloons and a cake, which the staff was more than happy to serve to us.
