I ordered from here on a Sunday night and was expending a delicious pizza delivery and a kid sized pasta with Alfredo for the little one. But I was unfortunately met with a sack of inedible food. The pizzas were small and undercooked, and the Alfredo sauce worst than the cheapest option at the dollar general. We ordered though the website which naturally takes you though door dash. After eating the food, we decided to call the restaurant to raise our concerns about the quality of food and give them a chance to right any wrongs. After I called they proceeded to pick up the phone and then HUNG UP. I heard the busy restaurant and then I said "hello?" And they literally hung up. Horrible food and terrible customer service. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone i love and was significantly disappointed in the quality of food and service.

Was in Santa Fe for a quick first time trip and decided to eat here. The pizza was amazing and the service was too!

I recently got a take out from this place however the lady that I spoke with was Spanish speaking as myself and spoke in English with me as she greeted me so I continued to speak English with her. They were missing one of my orders so she spoke in Spanish with her coworker so I started speaking in Spanish with her and asked her if she can charge me one of my orders separately and she had said “no I won’t charge it separately next time learn to speak to me in Spanish first” because I had spoken to her in English when I knew how to speak in Spanish . Like I said she spoke in English first so I continue to speak with her in English.

“Large” pizza was more like a small 6 slice small personal pie size, yet price was akin to a full sized 8 slice pie. When it came out, it was soggy and cold with a burnt crust. Santa Fe must have low pizza standards if this place is getting four stars.

Good and nice food. The fisherman salad is really excellent as is the pasta with meatballs. The pizza is also excellent. My wife chose the simple Margherita. It really felt like being in Italy. The environment is perhaps a little shabby and I don't particularly like the fact of ordering at the counter first. But the staff is fast and attentive.

Great pizza. Placed an order on DoorDash and paid online. When I picked up the order, the staff made me wait in a 5 minute line with people ordering even though my order was ready and I already paid.

Tasty wood fired pizza. I ate here twice in one week I enjoyed it so much. Next time I'm in town on business, I'll be back.

Average atmosphere and service. You order at the counter upon entering. The pizza had a wonderful wood fire crust and variety of toppings. The New York cheesecake was delightful.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Ordered a salad and half way though I bite into a piece or used wax paper. When I told the service she laughed and took the plate, no apologies, no refund. No one came to follow up about the disgusting contaminants. It’s counter service so you pay at the counter before you food is served so I paid 10$ for a salad full of dirty paper. No one came to apologize or make it right. Extremely disappointing and disgusting for the price and just unhygienic can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like if there’s use paper on a serving plate. There’s better pizza for cheaper. Don’t waste your time. Do better.

Its as good as everyone says!! Pizza is wonderful but even the large is kind of small. 2 of us split a large salad and large pizza. Perfect amount of food for us for lunch sizes. Any less I think I would have left hungry. Staff is great but they really leave you be once you get your food. Awesome for a quiet lunch.

We loved it so much we ate there two days in a row. The pizza, soup, and paninis are delicious. Service was good both visits. The vibe was casual and comfortable.

Such good pizza, The kids also approve. I always order the Bianca, capocollo ham, spicy mozzarella, gorgonzola, blended goat cheese, portobello mushrooms, and caramelized onions.

We enjoyed the most relaxed atmosphere and the best pizza and pasta ever. It was a great experience and we'll definitely be back!

service complete garbage. manager was rude when i asked what happened. charged for a dessert they never had. get better il vichino… been coming here 15yrs and prolly not coming back.

The Caesar salad with house vinaigrette was very good. The pizza delivered hot right out of the oven was flavorful and cheese melted wonderfully. The i atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Definitely would recommend this place for dinner

We have eaten pizza all across the country and this is our number one favorite place, we are from out of state and eat here several times on our visit to New Mexico every year. Absolutely phenomenal pizza, best crust I’ve had, pasta was also amazing. Service is second to none ever time we’ve been there. The IPA is also very good.

Amazing pizza place. Only recommendation is to get the large. We had three get the small, and regretted it. Excellent service, decent prices and a short walk from the Plaza. Definitely worth it.

They should stick to pizza. Lasagna was an abomination. Who in their right mind puts spinach layered in between the pasta and ricotta cheese? And then the audacity to put a squirt of commercial pesto sauce? Might as well called it smothered enchiladas.

We visited the pizza place based on recommendations of the locals. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed but we were seated right away and our pizza and salads came out fresh and in a timely manner. The crust of the pizza was just how I liked it. We had cheese, sausage and pepperoni. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious, even though we were stuffed with pizza the dessert was demolished! The staff was friendly and very attentive.

Just bad pizza. Don’t bother. Instead of researching pizza on the west coast, founder should have gone to NYC or Connecticut. Dry, no taste to crust. And they got one pie wrong. 1st time here and the last.

This is the last time I eat at Il Vicino. I had a dismal salad with shrimp the size of a quarter and cooked until they were rubber. My mushroom were very old and slimy. For almost $20. McD's makes better salads!

Ive eaten here my whole life and Ive never been disappointed with their pizza until recently! Got a sausage greenchile pizza. It was soggy and had only maybe 1 teaspoon of green chile on it, and about equal amount of sausage. Cmon yer better than this ilvicino!!

Ordered via DoorDash. Despite paying extra for direct delivery it was cold. The pizza was a gf cauliflower crust. So yes it’s flat but it usually has a little bit more to it. Then there was no goats cheese. None.

Went for the wood oven pizza. We explained what we wanted, mushrooms and onion over all and then half sausage and half pepperoni. The order staff repeated it , not what we got. Couldn’t have made it clearer! Disappointed. Crust was not throughly cooked and sausage small bits instead of balls pretty sure this made it soggy. Red uncooked onion, mushrooms were good but unfortunately not on the pizza as a whole, beers slightly flat but acceptable. I wouldn’t come back for pizza. Our hotel recommended (el Dorado) .

I eat at this location frequently because I work around the corner and the food, service and atmosphere are always excellent. We live in Albuquerque and my daughters stopped in for dinner after skiing and forgot their purse at the restaurant. Today when we went by, they were happy to return it and all of the cash, cards and contents were there. So often these days people are not honest, and it was wonderful and refreshing to have this experience. This restaurant and their staff rock. ❤️

Juan and his brother Umberto are the absolute best. Their hospitality makes a great meal even better. We’ve been coming her for over 12 years and every time we leave feeling happier than when we walked in. Hard to find a better experience.

Il Vicino has a lot of potential, but seems to be severely understaffed. This problem reflected on the lacking service. For example, I had to get up and refill my water from the waitress’ pitcher. Their set up for ordering needs to be replanned. The line for ordering is mixed with the to-go / DoorDash. The place was very busy (because the pizza is good) and chaotic. The food was good, but won’t be going back.

Lasagna was literally the worst I’ve had in my life. I’m 65. The entire stack of meat, cheese, and sauce was barely 1” tall. Served in a “to-go” box like you would find in a high quality gas station. Flavorless even with two packets of Red Pepper. Pizza was not much better. Soggy crust. Maybe better if you dine in but the to go meal was trash.

They easily accommodated our group, we enjoyed the variety of choices on the menu and the food was delicious & served promptly.

Good food. I would give 5/5 but they were so lazy they chopped green chili stem into my alfredo and pizza. Pretty simple to remove the stem.

Il Vicino is my favorite place for pizza in Santa Fe. I've been eating here for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Il Vicink for Italian food and pizza.

You order at the front and then sit, and they bring your food and drink to you. The atmosphere is ok, not warm or fancy, about what you expect for a pizza place. My wife's pizza was good, but my margherita was not very good. It was basically a cheese pizza with a small amount of tomato sauce and a sprinkling of some green stuff. The crust was good. Some of their more involved pizzas looked good, but I can't recommend the margherita. Takeout may be the way to go here. Parking is not available nearby, and I dropped off my wife at the adjacent hotel and parked in the garage two blocks away.

Got the food to go. It was good but not perfect.

This place was incredible. We shared two pizzas and the lasagna, the meatballs, and a salad. Everything was delicious and brought to us very quickly. The caramelized onions in the salad and on one of the pizzas were fantastic. Looking forward to returning here

My Wife and I stopped in after a previous awesome experience at Il Vicino. First time around we had salads and margherita pizzas, both of which were beyond satisfying. This time we tried the big Calzone and the Penne Alfredo which were generous portions, filling and delicious. We ate our dessert first (delectable Cannolis!). Staff is friendly and attentive, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

We usually dine in but tonight we had take out! Ordering over the phone was simple and the food was ready for pick up on time! The staff is friendly and the food is great! When dining in you place your order at the front, they will give you a number and you choose your seat!

The chicken pesto sandwich is the best pesto chicken sandwich in town and their spicy oil is fire as heck. I dip my whole sandwich' in that oil. All the staff are amazing and treat me well when I eat there!! Also order the bread plate if you like bread

Genuinely unimpressed by the atmosphere of this place, and the ordering is basically a counter style for experience. It's not up to local standards. It's mostly kitchen noise echoing throughout the place, and the constant banging and clanging is annoying. It's also no wonder people complain about the food being cold - there were no fewer than 13 pizzas sitting outside the oven getting cold and waiting to go to their tables when I passed by. Food was like... okay. Definitely not hot. Dessert was tiramisu and very flat. Even the kids were saying "would be nice if you could taste the coffee." Parking is not cool either. It's cyber security risk: Avoid the parking lot, somebody has put stickers over the original QR codes, you don't know what the link is, you don't know who you're giving your credit card number to.

I ordered the TESTAROSSA pizza: Pepperoni, marinara sauce, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives, caramelized onions, mushrooms, fresh oregano. $12.50 I forgot to take a before picture of my pizza. Needless to say my photo doesn't make the pizza look so appetizing. The Crust was great, light and airy !! Please note, the pizza was not oily (as pictured) ... I had added their signature oil to my plate, which by the way was very flavorful and helped me finish . Service was quick and food flavorful.

For a wood fired pizza, the dough has no loft. It's more of a flat bread. I expect the dough to be light and airy and this was flat as if it never had a good rise. Ingredients were good but the dough was a let down. Service was also only ok. Having one person at the front to take orders and make drinks was not efficient.

I got the pizza with the truffle base. It tasted great and was super light. A little chili oil was great on it too. The man that took my order was friendly too. I'll definitely be back

The pizza is amazing! It has a thin, light crust and the sauce doesn't overwhelm. The staff was courteous and quick. If I lived here I would go back often.

The most average pizza I’ve had. Seemed like the ingredients were frozen, we got the green chile as an add on (why would you use frozen green chiles in Santa Fe 😭). The place also smelled funny.

There is no parking. Their pizza is expensive and a parking ticket which they have cameras when you park at their lot. A place of business should have free parking for their restaurant. You pizza was not worth a $53 ticket at pick up.
