Nice restaurant to get indian food near St. Louis area. Staffs were well behaved and the place was pretty clean. Food quality is beyond our expectations. Most of the Indian restaurant who offer buffet options offer food with high spice level which I don’t like. Here food was tasty and with mild spice level. They charge only $16 for buffet option which is quite pocket friendly. Will visit again for sure and I will recommend this place to my family and friends.

Decent indian food and nice service

Starters were good and some curries were good. Didn't like the biryani that much. The interior could use some lighting and bit more renovation. Service was decent.

I called ahead to ask if they had a lunch buffet and the girl lied to me and said they did, when actually they didn't have one.

We finally made it here! I always saw their billboard from 270, but with kids - it was difficult to accommodate their tastes. Finally, date night for two with delicious and perfectly cooked Indian dishes. Plenty of parking, inside seating and full bar. Enjoy tandoori chicken for appetizer and try their sweet naan. Fish Korma was very well prepared as well.

Still the best Indian food I've ever had.

We went on a Friday lunch buffet, the food was delicious there wasn't much buffet selection. It was overall very good, the service was okay, they weren't very talkative or anything, but no negative experiences. It's a pretty great place to have lunch overall, I would go again

We eat here frequently, but I picked up dinner on Father's Day with one of my kiddos. The food was super hot, amazingly delicious, and they were very sweet to my little girl - let her have a mango drink... and she loved it! I have always had a great experience here, and their chai is my absolute favorite. Of course we'll be back!

I am truly happy with my experience there been there a few times this year so far. The only thing I can say is enjoy the experience for yourself you'll never regret it. I have only one suggestion since it's a buffet start out with small portions of a varieties and please don't waste

Ambience is great but biryanis aren’t. Taste could be much better. Not worth for biryanis. Don’t try Dal lamb it’s worse.

Amazing Indian spices and dishes with good prices and one of the last buffets in the area. Decor is fun and formal with space to talk, service is at times a bit aloof and dismissive but rare and takes nothing away from the meal. We need more of this in the St. Louis area.

My boyfriend and I came in and did a huge take out order. They were so helpful and added on some items. I’m used to a more green tinted saag paneer but theirs was incredible.

A staple Indian restaurant in St. Louis. The location is central enough and it is easier to find than their old location. It just doesn't have the same ambiance and experience as the old location. Service is great and the food is perfect. Great vegetable korma. Naan is good as well.

I’m trying to figure out why are the cooks at this place putting sugar in their masala dishes. Rice breaks down into sugar!!!! So you’re putting sugar on top of sugar!!!! Will you pleeeeease put the actual ingredients on your menu? Diabetes is not a one-culture health problem; it’s a human health problem. Your food is better without the sugar.

Omg what a flavor experience. The mix of spices, along with the sweet flavor combination. Very unique and delicious. Very happy with the choice to go outside of my regular choices tonight. Awesome place to go if you're looking to try new things and experience more global options. Please try the mango lassi if you want a sweet beverage, kind of like a creamy shake! Enjoy

India Palace never disappoints. We've been going here for over 20 years, and the atmosphere is pleasant and enjoyable. Staff is extremely friendly and service is always top notch. We love the nan, saag, tandoori chicken and everything on the lunch buffet. If your looking for authentic, quality Indian food you must go here.

They have a buffet Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 2pm. I was very good, but if your spouse has issues with spicy food, they can request some with a little less.

My opinion is that this is the best Indian restaurant in Saint Louis It has the highest quality of Indian dishes .

Staff here are always attentive, the food never disappoints and the atmosphere is beautiful. I used to go to an Indian place down the road but they never seemed to recover from the pandemic. I'm glad this restaurant is here.

Food was good except chicken biryani because rice didn’t look like basmati (check it out in photos). By look and taste it was more like fried rice. Palak mushroom was the best, breads were really nice. Service was good.

Stopped in on the way from the Airport, pleasantly surprised to see they had a Buffet, all the food was good, and a few deserts..perfect for a quick stop for good food. Will go back to try their menu items. Place showed its age and looked very old. Service was good.

I have been to this place few times. The food is good. The restaurant is spacious and tables are decently arranged. I have tried only vegetarian food. My family and I enjoyed the food. There is adequate parking also.

Our 1st time here. Waiters VERY attentive, all food was great,don't sit in the corner unwell you want cool air coming down on you. Owner and management are very friendly and personable. EXCELLENT food!!!

The place has a nice vibe, serving mostly North Indian dishes that taste good. The service is great and you'll find a good variety of tasty options for both lunch and dinner.

Pretty solid. Was our first time having Indian, so this was a new experience. We got the dinner for 2, the soup was super good! The chicken tikka masala and the lamb curry was nice, though my lamb had a super crunchy bit that I couldn’t tell what it was. Not as spicy as I was hoping for but I was happy. The rice pudding they gave wasn’t very good, had a muted taste. The bread was excellent. Service was okay, the servers weren’t very chatty and we had like 4 different people checking in. Kind of an awkward experience. Would definitely get carry out or go again!

Please avoid this restaurant if you want to try biryani or any starters.

The food was good, wait staff was on point. Was hoping for a little more of a flavor punch but it was still tasty. We had the buffet and would imagine getting a regular dinner would probably have a bit more flavor Will visit again

The food was amazing and delicious. I recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala which is a tandoori chicken cubed and simmered in fresh tomato sauce. You can ask for it to be made spicy if you want. It is served with rice on the side and also a basket of baked leavened bread called naan. It’s a wonderful restaurant!

The food was amazing!! The service was Excellent!! One of the greatest dining experiences we ever had. All of the staff were courteous and caring and the owners (A.J & Sureshjii )were too kind, super friendly, knowledgeable and just the perfect amount of attentive. We did a family style with differing levels of spicy and it was all incredible. The chicken soup,Tandoori Shrimp, mixed vegetable pakodas, saag paneer, lamb tikka masala, tandoori chicken, garlic naans, chicken Biryani. mango lassis. Everthing was delicious. My family loved the food very much, they said, this has been our favorite best Indian food we ever had! This was one of the best Indian food {repeated}. we had more than enough and we had some leftovers. we will go back again with more friends. Highly recommended !!!

Had a good meal here, tried their veg. pakora and paneer pakora but pakoras was not fresh. For main course paneer tikka masala and malai kofta was delicious. I liked that they are giving rice with the sabji as a complimentary.

I have been coming here since they were located in the hotel and it remains my favorite restaurant ever. I could eat here every day. The staff is so amazing that they’ll actually remember you and what you like. Negative reviews shock me because I don’t see how you couldn’t love this place. My favorite is the lunch buffet because you can try a little bit of everything, but I don’t mind spending the money to also try several dishes at dinner time. Every time I try a new Indian restaurant around the area I’m disappointed because the food is never as rich or flavorful as this one.

Great lunch place during the work day.

I had the chicken curry lunch special. It was good and flavorful, the rice was very good as well as the naan. I would order it extra spicy next time, it came mildly spicy, but I could've used an extra kick. The service seemed a bit rushed even though there were only 5 or 6 tables full out of the entire restaurant. Not bad service, just not what I'm used to.

Decided to give it a try an was not disappointed. Ordered appetizers samosas an pakora was delicious an reasonably priced had 2 orders each. Waiter was on point with appetizers, water an food. We were skeptical before heading to the restaurant because of all the reviews we read and no surprises here India Palace has definitely tanked. It used to be so good 20 years ago, but it certainly has lost the charm it once had. We gave the place a shot based purely on nostalgia and we weren't amazed by it. The service is quick and decently polite. The staff keeps bringing you water every now and then, which after a point makes you feel you're being rushed to order or get going even when the restaurant is a mere 10% full to it's capacity. We called for tandoori chicken, which never made to our table (in a sense we are glad because the food wasn't anything spectacular). We called for goat biryani, chicken saag, paneer makhani, and lamb korma. Goat Biryani: It was smelly, full of goat fat, tasted old and not fresh. We didn't like it at all and had to give it away with more than half still on the plate. Chicken Saag: They probably thickened it with corn flour. The chicken pieces were good, but the gravy didn't have any seasoning and we found it just above average. Paneer Makhani: The paneer was soft, tender, gravy was delicious. Had good seasoning. Tasted fresh and was probably tastier than we anticipated. Could have been less sweet as it tasted more like shahi paneer than makhani. Lamb Korma: This dish was the best from all that we ordered. The lamb pieces were juicy, delicious, and did full justice to the price we paid. Unfortunately it was the only dish that stood out for us, but not enough for us to come back to it. The tandoori naans were burnt from all corners, but were buttered and felt like they were made fesh. All in all, India Palace has nothing special going on for them as it once had two decades ago. The ambiance is no more palatial as it once felt and is just another restaurant on Manchester that may serve Indian food if you ran out of options in the whole of St Louis.

Solid lunch buffet. My favorites were the paneer dish and saag. The mango custard is SPECTACULAR.

Worst food I have ever tasted before. Staff is very polite and humble need to change the chef or close the restaurant.

Put it this way, the food we ordered is gone...we ate it all. It was very quiet at dinner, nobody was talking, too busy eating the delicious dinner.

Arrogant behavior by the cashier and the worst customer service. Worst part is that chicken briyani I ordered doesn't feel like briyani itself. Will never visit again and I would rate zero for customer service. Ambience is the only thing I liked.

I've been going to India Palace for a decade and have had consistently good experiences over all the years. The food is always delicious and much of the staff has been there as long as I can remember. Buffets are now limited to friday-sunday, but the rest of the days you can still order a lunch with plentiful portions for about $15.

The lunch buffet would have been a bit better if they had some of their spicier options. Vindaloo would have been great. Overall, really good.

Ordered catering from India Palace for my parents' housewarming last weekend. The most asked question during the party was "Where did you order the food from?" Everyone raved about how tasty the food was and the portions were plentiful! Moreover, everyone I worked with to receive the food - the managers and the woman who delivered the food - was very cordial and it was easy to work with them. Highly recommend India Palace! I look forward to catering from here again in the future!

A great place for weekend Lunch buffet and dinner. Dinner is not a buffet, but is also very. Don't see something you like, they may make something you want for you if not too busy or short staffed. Great Sag (spinach) Paneer (cheese cubes) and chicken Vindaloo, if you like something spicy.
