They are not giving respect to the customers and the food quality is average. They are charging $15 as Gratuity and $3 for credit card pay, this is not a good service to the customer. They are not informed when we entered into the restaurant about the Gratuity or they don’t put the notice about the Gratuity ( They made the rule if you sitting more or 5 people in the table) . We have asked about the Gratitude rule, they are not ready to take off or reduce the amount and also they are not ready to listen from us and they are rude to to the customer.

One of, if not THE BEST restaurant in Gainesville. The service is top notch, the food is authentic. And when I say authentic, I mean the flavor the consistency and the spice level. If you cannot handle spicy food, ask for it mild or ask the staff about something that will be the mildest (I would recommend the Butter Chicken). They are open for Lunch Buffet and re-open at 5 for a la carte Dinner and full menu options. Bishu, Deepak and Jesus make the ordering easy and are extremely welcoming, not to mention they have steel traps as far as memory goes. They will remember your order down to the smallest detail. If you DO like spicy foods, ask for it hot (you may regret it the next day, fellow spice junkies) If I could rate it any higher I would. Thank you to all of the staff and their families for making this the best and most authentic Indian Restaurant I have encountered in the US. HOT TIP: If you like Indian Street food, or you want to cook some dishes at home, the Indian Street Food on the opposite end of the plaza is another winner and the India Bazaar has everything you need and some things you may not know you even need. *Update* I found out that the India Bazaar is expanding!! Look out for more selection and make sure to check out all of the great deals on Veggies and foreign items! They have amazing deals everyday and if you are a student who likes to cook, you can get some great ideas to make your apartment smell amazing and host your dinner parties!

Weekend lunch buffet incredible. Warm welcome. If you like goat curry there is no better place to go on the weekends only. I eat Indian cuisine all over the world and Is this place has some of the best. It's not dried up and it's to tame on the spice level. Great selection. I think they put a lot of pride and work into the buffet.

WORST service ever Nobody even bothers to spend time to listen to their customers. They’re in such a hurry, and are literally always running around, saying “we have other customers to take care of.” They were in such a hurry that they gave me Mutton Biryani instead of the Chicken Biryani I had ordered. Even as soon as I walked in, they didn’t even bother to welcome their customers. The guy just straight up asked me, “what do you want?” Like idk dude maybe give me a MENU FIRST??? They have another weird rule that you need to pay more for your order if you pay by card. I asked the main guy (bald dude) about it, and he just dodged my question. Food was meh. Indian Cuisine on 34th Street has always been an amazing experience all around. Their menu is huge. Every time we've been there, the food has been superb and the staff is super professional and polite.

First time here and very happy with the food and atmosphere. It is all home style Indian cuisine so don’t expect fancy plates and frills. The food was all very good; the tandoori chicken and rice was a bit dry but we got there about 30min to close of lunch buffet. For $25, it was definitely worth it and we’ll be coming back again. Service was great and very professional. Love when you see locals come as well, better than chains and knock off restaurants.

The waiters are always racists. They are rude and rasist specially to fellow "Indians". Made racist comments, like 'Vijayawada??' and laughed at the corner. This is the second time happening to me. Just because we order Vijayawada biriyani often doesn't mean say and laugh at the corner with other waiters. I wish they would treat everyone with respect.

I lived India for years. Indian cuisine can be amazing. Mutter paneer is one of my fav dishes, the complexity of spices with pees and cheese can be a feast for the palate. This one I had today had no complexity. Though I ordered it mild, all I tasted was hot. Our bahraini chicken was dry and the yogurt bland. It was a disappointment and a waste for of my palate.

listen, i absolutely love this restaurant: the flavors are impeccable; however, 1/2 of the time i order takeout from here it is not what i have asked for. i typically order a cuisine dish with minimal spice, but most of the time it is given to me with medium/hot spice. as in i order mild/no spice, but i am given food that is damn spicey. i’m an avid indian takeout consumer so it’s blatantly obvious to me when i have ordered mild and get hot spicy. to the point where it feels like my tongue is falling off (yes i am weak in this regard). as i said before, it would be nice if this restaurant was consistent with its spice levels instead of giving the orderer what they already have, regardless of the spice level they ordered. its almost as if they just fill the bowl with what they already have prepared as opposed to what the customer has ordered. again, i absolutely love this place and their food but come on guys please give your customers what they ask for.

Value for money, one of the best Indian buffet lunch in Gainesville for non-Indians, as non-Indians do not typically cook Indian food so this is a treat to satisfy the craving of all the spices and curry of Indian food. Notably, the samosa are very good, crispy on the outside and molten curry on the inside. The chicken tika are great too, come for their lunch buffet and left satisfied for rest of the year. The layout is American diner style with the buffet lane in the middle of the restaurant, service is minimal since it’s a buffet. Staff service is normal, they did what they are supposed to do. Overall, a pleasant and satisfying lunch for non-Indians (Indians have different standard for Indian food).

The guy with eye glasses spoke very rudely - Commented and laughed that "we were taking 2hrs to eat". Hint: We were there for less than 40 min including when we parked and entered in restaurant. 2. Got bill of 14$ for this - After eating buffet my friend asked if we can take some leftover. They said yes and handed a small box. The bill for this is 14$. 3. When asked about this - they ganged up even someone from Kitchen came out to gang up on my friend. Never trusting these guys to handle any food. We will not go there anymore.

This was my first experience with authentic Indian Cuisine and I was not disappointed. Quick note that I am of Jamaican decent and so these flavors are very familiar to me but this place reminded me of home cooking. Clean, delicious, courteous and just everything for a lunch buffet I'd hope for. Go to enjoy it now! You won't regret it.

I absolutely love this place. While dinner is delicious, you can’t miss the lunch buffet. Indian Cuisine has the best lunch spread I’ve seen and all of their flavors are spot on. This was my first time at Indian Cuisine and I look forward to returning! I chose to come during lunch for the buffet so I could try a little bit of several items and I enjoyed everything. I didn't see any vindaloo on the buffet, but I could have missed it or maybe it's available on other days. The salad / dessert area was well stocked, but I didn't try any of it, so I cannot comment on that part. I tried a little bit of all of the warm entrees and they were delicious! As usual, my favorite is the tandoori chicken.

The food was unimpressive. For 2 people with water the buffet was $22 per person, the food and the service was definitely not worth it. We were told to sit in a booth and no one came by until I called someone over so we could pay and leave. And they said they were busy today. When we were there, there were multiple tables that were empty. And 2 guys who had brought food from the kitchen to the buffet went out to the parking lot and Walked around talking to each other. And another guy walked in and out a few times. They were not that busy today. They had plenty of people to service the tables and the buffet, it just wasn't happening. We also went with our son and weren't offered a high chair or anything for him. I don't know if they just didn't have it or not since no one came over to us.

Always friendly and kind. They remember repeat customers! My mom and I split Lamb Boti Kabab Masala, Curry chicken, garlic, naan, and tamarind chutney. For dessert we had gulab jamun. Everything tasted fantastic! The chicken was perfect, the lamb was a tiny bit tough but still delicious. They gave us plenty of rice to share and the garlic naan was just right, hot, buttery and garlicky. Lastly, we split Gulab jamun (three pieces) and we were constantly remarking at the wonderful flavor. This is the best place in town. They don’t deliver but they do call ahead orders. It’s worth the drive. :)

I have been to several Indian restaurants in many different states. I was disappointed with the lunch buffet due to its limited variety. Chicken dishes in sauces were mostly with bone. Chicken curry was watery as was the rice pudding. Not a good value at 20.00 per person.

I saw the favorites table reviews for Indian Cuisine, so we gave it a try. We understand Indian can be pretty hot. We ordered 3 different dishes, two of which were requested mild. Unfortunately, none of the three dishes were edible by the three of us due to such an incredibly high heat level. Again, we are not newbies when it comes to Indian cuisine. Also, the flavor was off from what we’re used to. The waiter seemed confused when he saw we hardly touched the entrees and didn’t request to-go boxes. We just politely that it was too spicy from what we were used to. After paying a fairly expensive bill, we had to go eat elsewhere. Lesson learned.
