My parents who traveled the US extensively. Told me not to get good Asian food outside of Metro Detriot. So far they have been right. The sweet spicy chicken was terrible way to hot . The fried rice had no flavor, the egg drop soup the white were cooked at to high of temperature whites was actually cooked like in a pan. Waitress was new but very polite.

Always great food and great service with a smile!

Food is kind of pricey for what you get.

I had pad thai, it tasted like teriyaki and soy sauce mixed together, was definitely not pad thai, and thr egg drop soup was basically cabbage soup with about 3 pieces of egg that wasn't really egg. Gave me a stomach ache

Service was great! Had the sampler appetizer. It was very good. Had the drunken noodles with chicken for the entree. It was excellent! Large portions. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely return.

I had the great opportunity of having lunch with a dear friend of mine at Indo China garden today and it was such a nice time, we went when it was slower so we had plenty of time to chat while we enjoyed our delicious meals. Thank you for the wonderful food and great service!!

The taste is American-Asian food, and the price is very cheap. I don't think it tastes good and if you are Chinese, I don't recommend you to come here.

Love this place, food is amazing, it is a bit pricey, but what your paying for, it is absolutely delicious. The inside is nice, compact, nice atmosphere. They aren't usually busy inside, as they are more popular with pickup orders, but man, this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Sault, probably the best in the U.P. When you dine in, you're seated almost instantly, and given tea and a free side of soup. Their egg-drop soup is the best. The appetizer, The Crab wantons/Rangoon's whatever you prefer, Are Delicious, And the main course, The chicken pad Thai, The best thing they have on the menu. Always served in huge portions, and always hot and fresh. I sometimes get this place for pickup and drive home for about 25 minutes, and its still literally steaming hot out of the carton. If you are looking for an actual good Chinese restaurant, This is absolutely the place to go.

The main dish hking pow would have been really good,but it was way too salty. The egg drop soup was just salty broth with no egg drop😔. The waiter was really attentive and polite. Will not recommend There's better places to eat in the Soo.

Visiting the area. Best Chinese food I’ve had in years. Fresh, delicious food. Pepper steak and Yellow curry shrimp is insane. Glad I stopped by.

Careful- they added an 18% gratuity for take out (and for the order wrong). We'll not visit again.

Service was excellent. Waitress was very helpful. Egg drop soup was the best I have ever tasted and the Won Tons were outstanding. Hung Pao Beef came platted as a large serving full of flavor and the brown sauce was yummy. I would have it all again.

Ordered takeout we added sides which he gave us and charged meals prices. he said he added gratuity after he ran our card and who charges gratuity on takeout?

Ben eating here for a long time. Not a buffet. Typical Chinese/American dishes and a selection of Thai dishes. Good food.

This place went above and beyond my expectations. The food, atmosphere, and service was amazing. The outside may not be the prettiest, but the inside is BEAUTIFUL. We were the only ones in there so we got seated immediately and were greeted with a pot of tea and teacups all to ourselves. Our server was very kind! My egg drop soup came out fast and was DELICIOUS. The broth may look clear and unflavorful, but when I tell you that was the best egg drop soup I've ever had, I mean it. Packed FULL of flavor and crunch from the vegetables that was like nothing else. I usually dont like vegetables so i was a bit intimidated, but when i tasted it, all my worries went away. My main dish was the chicken lo mein. I got a HUGE portion for the price i paid, i couldnt finish it all. Like the soup the lo mein was amazing, even the vegetables. I'm visiting the area soon and i WILL be coming back here. I would definitely reccomend.

Tasty orange chicken, general's chicken, and fried rice. Hot and crispy. Nicely flavored and hot egg drop soup included. Efficient and friendly waiter. Comfortable booth seating. Fair price of $15 per plate.

My boyfriend and I visited for lunch while driving through the UP. Saw this place on the GPS and figured it would be nice to check out and were instantly struck by the charm of the place, and the fast and cheery service by the host. We ordered the crab wantons, pork pot stickers, shrimp Tom Yum soup, and chicken pad Thai - all of which were exceptional and came out quickly and piping hot.

Absolutely fantastic service from Mary and the orange chicken was delicious. Can't wait to come back 😁

Excellent food. Good variety of both Chinese and Thai dishes. Had the Pad See Ew and it was very tasty. Had them add some heat to the dish and it was just right. Service is very good tho like a lot of places these days they appeared to short staffed but made the best of it. I didn’t experience any delay but the staff were all running to keep up. Great job folks.

Fantastic asian restaurant in Sault Ste Marie Michigan! I would strongly recommend the crab wontons and sesame chicken. Good food and good service. Will continue to visit whenever I get the opportunity.

This place is trash service is garbage they tell you 15 minutes be prepared to wait a half hour food was soggy had a weird taste and wasn't even hot was warm worst experience ever will not be returning Herr

Food was delicious and generously portioned. The service was amazing and accommodating for several dietary restrictions including vegan and vegetarian. Made my reservation through Google. Glad we went soon after they opened because it got pretty busy quickly by 12:30 pm.

The food is amazing, absolutely the best in town. They are the type of people to keep their food traditional without leaning too American (i.e. sizes, prices, quality) but here you are getting the kind of food you would get overseas, and it is by far the best representation of Chinese and Thai culture I have ever had.

This place has possibly the best Kung Pao chicken I've ever had and the crab cheese wontons are actually amazing. Walking in here is like walking into the past when a family restaurant meant both family friendly and family owned, the decor is brilliant, the staff are lovely and the food will make you do a little happy dance in your seat when you taste it. The only downside to this place is how far away from Australia it is because I gather getting delivery would be pretty pricey all that distance. Absolutely worth the trip though, easily a foodie must if you're even remotely close to the area.

Really tasty! Staff was friendly, attentive, and food came quickly. The egg drop soup doesn't look how you'd expect, but it tasted good and was a nice start. The Egg roll was crunchy inside and soft and savory inside. I really enjoyed the snow peas in the pad see ew, and it was pleasantly saucy.

The amount of food was very much for two meals and it was delicious overall. They are salty and sweet but it was pleasant. The only thing is that pad thai was not the real pad thai taste. It was more like fusion Chinese noodle. Nice service and the well priced. Would go again.

I would say the food was decent. Not great, but decent. The problem is the waiter was closing the place as we were finishing up eating. What kind of no class dive starts turning off the lights before you’re even done? Of course he would say “well I want to go home”. Yes well if you want to punch out you need a punch clock job, not a restaurant job. You can’t be basically walking out the door as the last customers are walking out. That’s classless. And of course the little weasel was taking the 20% tip I gave him right out of the cash drawer while I was standing in front of him without even being able to locate the words "thank you". Why did I give him more than he deserved? Because I have class. The little weasel at Indo-China Garden has none. It's my first and last time at this greasy spoon, believe me.

A staple in Sault Sainte Marie for as long as I can remember, this is the go-to place for Chinese food in the Soo! I highly recommend the chicken fried rice and the egg rolls.

I ATE THE SPICY SHRIMP FRIED RICE ON FRIDAY NIGHT 4/1/22 AND I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM IT! WE SPENT $100.00 FOR DINNER!!! YOU CHARGE PLENTY SO THAT YOU SHOULD SERVE FRESH COOKED PROPERLY SHRIMP! THIS FAMILY OF 7 WILL NOT BE BACK AFTER 6 YEARS OF OF MY BUSINESS...OVER NOW!

A very great place for Asian cuisine..I had Szechuan beef at it's hottest..I recommend this dish. It's not for the faint of heart.. however I'm glad to say it did not burn twice... LoL

Friendly, good food, quick service.

Ordered a family meal and clearly stated 3 orders of wontons with the rest of the food. Got home to see I received 3 wontons total. I called to figure it out and after being called a woman by the waitress that took my order she said I asked if you wanted 3 and you said yes... and it was my fault and I could order more if I wanted... I'll take my business elsewhere...

The Thai dishes are really delicious! After trying a few dishes that were good bit not great I have fallen in love with every Thai dish I've tried. I encourage people to try something new! Great food!

Finally got a chance to dine in-person... always love a place that has hot tea in the table, soup comes out first, and generous portions. Highly recommend you don't judge a book by a cover when you see the building

Wonderful portions and presentation from start to finish. They have something to satisfy any Indo-Asian food craving.

Everything was fresh and delicious! The tea was on point. My server was super sweet and I was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in.

Menu has a good selection of Thai and Chinese dishes. I tried the drunken noodles from the Thai section of the menu. It has good flavors but on the sweeter side which I didn't expect. The portion is quite large. Will stop by again when I'm the area to try other dishes.

Good food, but misleading name. While I can’t speak for authenticity, my family and I enjoyed the food here. The staff was friendly and were helpful in guiding us through the vegetarian options. The name of the restaurant is misleading — they do not serve Indian food, only Thai and Chinese.

If you don't want that detergent taste, don't get cilantro. I had the same issue at taco Bell. This place is awesome! Small, quite and comfortable. Best environment and great polite staff. ( Her kid has a place in Escanaba with the same recipes ). Love them both

I had the pleasure of eating there on Friday. When I was delivering to big lots. Best fried wonton I've ever had. Also had Mongolian beef and it was excellent.

Placed an to go order for their house special deluxe fried rice which was good. But the price was like over 14.00 which I think is way to high especially seeing there is a great all you can eat right down the street.

Pretty good food. Service was very aloof and a slow the night I was there. I got Thai but flavor leaned more towards the Chinese style.

Being an Asian restaurant set up all the way in the Soo, it's definitely something to try. The food is definitely good with what they have to work with. I'll definitely stick to just to pho and Thai food. The egg drop is different but very good. It has some cabbage in it and it's just so good to eat. Try something new each time so you'll get a feel for what you like. The service is fast and food comes out fast. Definitely will come back!

I love me some good spicy chinese/thai food. They make authentic tom yum soup which has the perfect amount of spice. I also love their sweet fire chicken. If you have a cold and need your sinuses cleared, stop in here!

Absolutely love the food and the service however they had a fire a few months ago and I am just waiting for them to reopen. Every time we drive by we checked it over to see how the progress is coming. My friend and I can hardly wait for them to reopen. Yeah! It is now May 8 and they are open for business. We have eaten there twice in the last week since they have opened.

Best place to eat Asian food. Fresh- Made to order meals. The egg drop soup is like no other! It's the Best! Everything on the menu is delicious! Crab Rangoons are hand made daily. Did I say Fresh! The owners are friendly wonderful people. Simply yummiliciousness! Very Clean and Cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

I wasn't expecting a lot, I haven't found a lot of quality ethnic food in the soo in the past. But wow, this place is great! You can tell it's the real deal, no fast-food Chinese buffet type garbage.

Indo china is really really good and the service is great. The interior is great and there food is great so i would say that u should go there👍
