Such a fun time and the staff’s so super kind! My favorite is Rick and he always takes care of me. Insomia’s the perfect spot to socialize w your friends or pull out your laptop and get to work. Such a wonderful experience and they have the widest hookah selection I’ve seen while visiting Tampa! Definitely would come here again :) ❤️

My boyfriend and I were looking for a hookah lounge in the area and I happened to find this one on Google. The drinks that we got were delicious, the hookah was amazing and seemed to last forever, the service was perfect and it was really a clean, chill environment. Will definitely be going again!

The customer service was great. He made me feel comfortable and didn’t mind explaining things I didn’t understand. Definitely will be a regular hope he doesn’t get tired of me.

This place is a whole vibe. Workers are very chill and very empathetic with customers, patient and very chill vibe, knowledgeable about the product they provide and serve, proactive with coals, and best of all, a positive atmosphere. One of the best lounges in Tampa.

I love this spot! Today was my brother and I first time there, and it was amazing. The owner, Rick, was extremely passionate about his business. Was very friendly and nice to us. We will definitely be going back for future events that they have. Ps. I got the strawberry calypso. It was so yummy 😋

Rick was so kind, it was my first time in he made me feel so welcomed. He hooked it up, the drinks are fantastic and the vibes are even better. Will definitely be back for karaoke on Thursdays.

Best hidden gem of Temple Terrace. Discovered it just this month and immediately fell in love with this place. Everyone is always friendly and kind, make you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. I absolutely adore all the awesome art work implemented into the decor and the one you can purchase at the store portion of the business. It’s the best place to chill at on a Friday night, with some kratom and/or hookah plus enjoy the trivia night. The Insomnia has great selection of very cleverly named drinks that contain either kava, kratom, CBD or Delta-8. Hookah flavors list is also very good, certainly can find a flavor that you’d enjoy. Plus they have a tobacco-free sheesha as well. Been here 3 times in a past month and we are certainly going to continue coming back for great vibes and relaxing time.

I found my new favorite spot ! It was my first time coming In and they gave me a jolly rancher shot on the house , which was pretty nice of them. They were also very helpful with showing me the menu and assisting me with my selection. I would highly recommend . I’ll definitely be back in here for Karaoke night on Thursdays and Trivia night on Friday.. oh , and the social atmosphere and music ; 10 out of 10 👌🏿😌✨.

This kava bar is instantly one of my top 5 spots in Tampa Bay. Everyone from the owners to the kava tenders to the other customers are phenomenal people. Vibe is right, a perfect place to work or socialize about any number of topics. The kratom is top-notch, brewed correctly, and served in proper portions. The people that work there are extremely knowledgeable about the products, and the menu has a diverse selection of other items outside of kava or kratom. Definitely stop in for a shell or tea to check the vibe for yourself.

The staff here never disappoints! They always make sure I like what I ordered and what they mix up before I leave. QUALITY concentrates, knowledgeable on all aspects. Comfortable establishment that I love bringing friends to. 10/10 would recommend! My personal favorite is their Iced Chai Tea. It’s THE BEST!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and we barely had to wait to be seated. They recommended a Kratom lavender drink, which was outside my usual comfort zone, but I felt encouraged to try it. I’m glad I did—it was potent and delicious. Love this spot! I have been to several kava cafes and Insomnia is the best by far. Everyone is very nice and always make great recommendations for beverages to try. They have games to play with friends too. Great experience, great vibes, and great kava!

This place has a good atmosphere good hookah and good drinks. A little bit on the pricier side but you can see the price justified in the attention to detail and most importantly THE SERVICE I am not a very talkative individual so when the hookah did not come out the way I would usually like I didn’t say anything but the service attention to me noticed almost immediately and changed it out for me. Wonderful crowd and a great place to wind down for me.

I had heard about insomnia through a few friends and only recently decided to check it out... I wish I had started coming sooner it has a very laid back vibe everyone seems real down to earth. Ricky is a real cool humble and welcoming person who makes sure all patrons are happy with his service. They serve not only high quality kava but a variety of other delicious drinks and hookah. I'd highly recommend it to anyone

been to a lot of kava lounges and this is currently my favorite! The Drinks are by far the best quality I’ve had (my favorite is their lemon lavender with butterfly tea.. delicious!) they also have hookah, lots to choose from and it hits very smooth. The atmosphere is so relaxed and everyone who works there has been so welcoming, accommodating, and friendly! Love bringing my friends here and always have such a great experience! 10/10

We had a great introductory experience to kava here. Sosa was such a great host. It was my friends bday and we just wanted something chill.. Sosa did such a great job at details to make it special. Place is chill, every body doing their own thing, the perfect ambiance with so many hookah flavors. Stop in, you'll feel right at home. 😉

Atmosphere is beautiful all the decor is very clean and beautiful. 🤩 music playing as well which just added to the comfiness of the place. Came here to have a nice place to hangout and came in on karaoke night and enjoyed my time listening to people sing and watching the sports games. The service was top notch and they enjoyed being there which made me feel better about the atmosphere and what goes on here!!! 10/10. I didn’t get food, but i got the THC infused drink and it was delicious and my girlfriend got the Kava tea and loved it.

First time here and I already feel like a regular. They treat you with such care and want to make sure you are having not only a great experience but an educated one. Plus the Kava is made perfectly. I definitely will be coming back.

They make you feel valued and you feel good spending your money here. Rick is such a chill guy, soon as I walked in he greeted me and made me feel comfortable. He has tons of knowledge about his products and a they got a huge variety. Was never a fan of the tea until I came here. It was on point from taste to potency, definitely recommend. Fair prices and consistently running sales. Always cool people hanging out and always something fun going on. I’ve been to some shops that sold me fake stuff, had attitudes, and are overpriced. Won’t go anywhere else now.
