It’s always good when you go into a restaurant and you hear a customer say, “every time we come into town, we have to order pizza from here”. After eating the food, I understand why. It was good pizza, not greasy at all. This place has real Italians working behind the counter and they know what they’re doing. The bathrooms and restaurant are clean. The service was super friendly. Four slices of pizza was $11.48. We drank free water. There is a bar attached to the back of the restaurant where they have live entertainment at night.

It's pretty simple people. This place is top tier in pizza, price, staff, events, bar, bartender, owner, manager, calzones, salads, etc. They serve the best pizza in JC and it's available by the slice! I doubt I'll ever go anywhere else for pizza ever again, and I have lived near new York as well as the west coast. This is the spot! Oh and as a massive bonus the pub out back has karaoke etc. The DJ Marcus is phenomenal. This establishment feels like the show Cheers.

This is another one of those hidden gems that I like to talk about! Love this style of pizza. What I believe is the original owner now back at the restaurant making pizza. And the product shows ! Has been my favorite pizza pub ever since I first tried it a few months ago.

Probably the best pizza place anywhere in the Tri Cities honestly. I don't leave a lot of reviews but I will for them cause I liked the food so much. Plus they have a bar.

Best pizza and salad in the Tri cities! Calzones are so good and the homemade sauce I could eat by itself. Fresh bread served with the side salad which is made fresh when you order. The staff is so friendly and from our first visit they have called us by our names. Definitely appreciate their customers. Lisa is always ready with a smile for the customers. This place has been here for years and I can't believe it took us so long to find it.

As a northern native it’s hard to find good pizza in the South. This is the best I’ve had in years. Highly recommend getting a pie at this joint.

Their meatballs are good. Hubby ordered for a pepperoni pizza which doesn't disappoint.

Wow this place was amazing!! The entire staff was awesome, friendly, and super helpful! It truly is a family friendly, "mom and pop pizzeria". We got the combo pizza and a cheese pizza for our kiddo and both were fantastic! All fresh ingredients, made in-house sauces, hand made dough and tossed in full view (we even chatted with the guys while they made our meals), and they were cooked perfectly. The wings we ordered were incredible as well! We had the hot Buffalo with ranch and let me tell you, they were some of the best wings we've ever had! You have to try this place out and check out the pub while you're there. Super fun atmosphere in the pub and cute lil pizzeria up front. The prices are great and honestly should be higher for this high quality food.

The small calzone was still more food than I could eat! It was so good even as leftovers the next day. I'll definitely be back.

Menu on website unavailable. I found a menu on Google that had a wonderful display of sandwiches, but they no longer offer any of them. A shame. Their food is actually decent. Guess they changed owners for the worse?

I’d leave zero if I could and haven’t even tried the food yet. Ordered a while ago, still waiting on food. Menu on Google is not actually theirs. They don’t know how to make some of the stuff on their menu. Absolute disaster. Edit- food was decent so upgrading to a 2 star

Many restaurants advertise, "Authentic New York Pizza", but this is the only one I've ever eaten at in TN that actually does make real New York style pizza. The food is amazing. They have a great bar outback as well. On the weekends, when it's really crowded downtown, I prefer their bar. Or if I'm meeting up with friends during the week to eat, it's usually the go to.

First time ordering! It was okay! We ordered extra sauce, and extra cheese with our combo pizza! Which we did not get! However New York pizza does not need either! I love Authentic New York pizza! This seemed more Greek style to me, which people love! I also like my toppings baked on top of lots of cheese , and sauce! I think all was baked under except maybe hamburger, pepperoni’s were not crisp at all, just floppy!

Great little "Hole in the Wall" pizza joint near downtown Johnson City. One of the best tasting pizzas I've had in the Tri-Cities area. The owner was gracious and our server was pleasant and professional. Small dining room was comfortable and functional. It is not necessarily a "First Date" atmosphere, but if your goal is to have a great pizza with old friends, this place will certainly do the trick!

Back to being my favorite pizza place. Always great service, fantastic food. Eggplant and pasta are back on the menu, and it was delicious! The kindness of the folks working there is an added plus. I will be going back often.

You'll love the place, it's really amazing and the people are marvelous. The ladies behind the bar are simply beautiful and eager to see that you're taken care of. I'd suggest that anyone that enjoys good food and good people. Ya need to go.

Hands down the best pizza in town!

I have lived all over the place and when I tell you that this pizzeria has the BEST Sicilian style pizza...I mean it! You have to call early and give over an hour to make it, but it is totally worth it. My husband and I are so grateful that we found this absolute GEM of a pizzeria! I have also had the regular style pizza and it is equally as fabulous. Bonus points...you can order by the slice here! My native NY husband is officially in pizza heaven!

This is the perfect place for a quick and tasty lunch. You can get pizza by the slice, calzones and pretty much anything you’d want from a pizza place. I recommend trying the house salad and a slice of pizza with your choice of toppings!

Some of the best pizza in Johnson City. I got an extra large between my girlfriend and I. We usually do not eat a whole lot but we could not just have a few slices and before ya know it, the darn thing was gone 😂

Let me be very clear ... being fully aware of Burt's 'retirement' & 'unretirement' ... and having been around since the days of the Seahorse, Richard A's, and even Gomez & Garcia (oh, Lord) ... the Italian Pizza Pub (aka Burt) IS Walnut Street ... and there would be a meaningful Walnut Street without it/him ... and no ETSU potential graduate may rightfully pass without sampling THE domain that has withstood THE test of time!

I love this place. One of my favs. Has the best marinara sauce in town, hands down.

Went to the Italian pizza pub For the first time tonight. Originally for karaoke. The staff is super nice. The food is wonderful. Great selection. This is not a chain family owned and operated you aren't going to get the tiny slices like you get at chains. The slices require 2hamds to eat not a large place or large menu but great prices and great food

They seem to have issues paying employees and contractors. On top the shoddy business practices, the "bacon" they use is questionable at best. Life is too short to eat bad pizza from a bad business!

Ordered individual, one topping slices- they were fresh from the oven, delicious, and out in a reasonable amount of time despite being made fresh. I was curious how new ownership would affect one of my favorite pizza places but my visit today reassured me that their pizza is still like what I remembered.

I have eaten here for years and the quality was very consistent. Unfortunately the past 3 or 4 times I visited I could tell the recipe or cooking method had been changed. It's resembling NY style pizza less and less: lacking flavor, crust is thicker, and there isn't that weightiness to it anymore. Probably remains the best pizza in the tri-cities, but it's not what it used to be. Maybe due to new management? Last visit I was served what seemed to be frozen chicken that was waterlogged. When asked if it was freezer food, I was met with "yeah what about it?" I just expect fresh chicken for $10+. Fileted chicken breast is cheap.

Besides the pizza and ham sub you gotta grab the dry rub chicken wings....

Would liked to have checked their menu before calling or visiting. Web site requires logging in, logging in to what? Apparently not interested in promoting their business.

I have only eaten two things from here; the white pie with eggplant and the calzone. They are like nothing else in Johnson City! Italian Pizza Pub is a must try!

I was a little worried about the changes taking place at Italian Pizza Pub since it has always had the only pizza I actually look forward to eating, but I was not disappointed at all. The place looks way more inviting now and there are drink refills and nicer bathrooms. Best of all, the pizza is still wonderful. Fresh tasting sauce, wonderful chewy and crisp crust, and extra pepperoni is really extra pepperoni. The prices have gone up just a little, but it is still very reasonable and worth every penny. It's the best pizza place in the whole area and worth driving from Greeneville for.

First time at Italian Pizza Pub today. Heard about their slices and thought I give it a try. More than pleased. I sort of like the extra oils off the cheese and pepperoni on a foldable thin crust. Hit the spot and I'll make it a point to come back soon.

This establishment has greatly improved under new management. They have quickly become one of my top 3 local Pizza go-to restaurants. Besides the delicious food, they have a great environment back in the Pub Out Back area. And the staff are so nice! I can't wait to see what events and happenings come to this part of W. Walnut street! I highly recommend!!!

I love the “by the slice” pizza! I can get whatever I want on one slice and don’t have to commit to a whole pizza or I can get different toppings on multiple slices to change up the flavors since it’s hard for me to eat the same slice of pizza over and over again. Crust was perfect and so were the fresh ingredients. Will be back again…and again.

This place has the greatest Pizza in the world at least in Elizabethton and Johnson City you should try it if you have it great pizza enjoyed both slices

This place is absolutely awesome. First let me say the pizza is hands down best pizza in Johnson City..... Absolutely terrific! We went on a Tuesday night specifically for karaoke..... the pizza was an added bonus and great fuel for an amazing night! Karaoke was super freakin' awesome. Everyone there seemed to have an amazing time and I saw so many smiles. Great place! Highly, highly recommend!!!!!!!

I have stopped going to Brusco’s, Greg, Scratch, Main and any other pizza place in town. I even deleted their apps. This place is my go to here on for pizza. Been living in JC for over 2yrs now coming from FL. Orig from NJ and I travel these states back and forth frequently. I KNOW MY PIZZA & when in JC this is it. ALL DAY !!!

I love eating here! The staff is super friendly, all the ingredients are fresh, the thickness of the dough is perfect. Anything from a classic cheese pizza to an ultimate is a good option. Don’t forget to get a beautiful cannoli for dessert!
