Great food, and nice place. Very flavorful food, and it was clean.

Very disappointed in most recent visit. Extremely small portion size for $19 Spaghetti with MeatSauce. Yet noticed another table ordering same dish at least double the portion size. Moussaka was microwaved and tasted like it. Dried out bechamel sauce. Salads were skimpy. Maybe it was time of day. Went at 4pm. Meal like leftovers from lunch. If you’re going to be a continuous service restaurant, then act like one. There’s a reason why other restaurants on HHI are consistently good who close between lunch and dinner hours. They are always on their game when open. They just don’t keep their doors open and take a nap between prime hours. Won’t be back.

Everything was fantastic and fresh. I have been looking for good Greek food since I left new York two years ago. I have finally found it. The green beans were actually my favorite, I cannot stop thinking about them!

Awesome restaurant. When we walked in you could tell they were busy and a little behind but got caught up in a hurry. We had 4 adults and 4 little kids which can be a nightmare, but we were fortunate to get Christos as our server and he was awesome. Very nice guy, knowledgeable about the menu and gave lots of great recommendations, specifically the flaming Greek cheese. Food was excellent, we all loved it. Took plenty home in boxes. We were looking for something different. The hummus, chicken and salad were delicious. Rice was just okay. Baklava is good and a bit pricey for just one piece. They have a full bar and extensive wine list. We will be back.

Bro, if you're looking to watch the soccer game, this place right here is pretty good. I sat at the bar This place is killing it. The gyro I had lamb was great. Food was good for the first time having Greek but the service didn't deserve a 20% tip when she only came to the table one time

I'm not a big fan of Greek food; I was part of a group. Inside it's a casual restaurant with plenty of Greek atmosphere. It was lovely. There is some outdoor seating as well. 3 of us got the Alaskan cod wrap with our choice of side. It was very good but made to look larger with loads of lettuce. Everyone was satisfied with their meal.

Not as good as it was 7 years ago

The chicken souvlaki was dry and tasteless and a few bits were charred to the point It just tasted burned. The waitress messed up my side order and we had to wait forever for her to return so I could tell her. The feta plate was the only thing good.

I purchase food at the Savannah Greek Festival every year and this is the best Greek food I've ever tasted! We had the fried calamari and the feta cheese plate for starters. I had the Greek combo plate (large portions) with a side Greek salad. All of the food exceeded my expectations.

Only Greek place I've found on the island. We like to bike there. We usually get the Chicken Soulvaki. This time Chicken tasted too charred and no flavor. But it's usually good. Like their patio seating. Too pricey not to come with a side though! I mean fries don't cost that much!

Visited Its Greek to Me during a day with great weather during the spring and was able to enjoy their outside seating minutes from the beach. I had the Greek Combo with a Caesar salad. The salad was incredibly fresh and the Romano Cheese them used was perfect, I loved it. The Greek combo itself was interesting but I wouldn’t say quite something I would find myself regularly eating. It was all cooked very well and no complaints about the cooking quality, presentation, etc. Its my first experience eating at a specifically Greek restaurant and was an overall good one, I would go back but probably pick something less adventurous in flavors as the ones from the combo weren’t quite my taste. The pita was also very light and good tasting. The sever we had seemed busy and otherwise occupied a lot of the time during our visit

Great quality of food with amazing tastes and a friendly staff all make this a wonderful spot for some Mediterranean flavors right next to Coligny Plaza. Prices are pretty fair and the service is decent to quick. You really can't go wrong here if you're a fan of good Mediterranean food at a decent price that makes you smile inside out.

Very cute restaurants but the service was terrible unfortunately. The octopus also came out with a giant hair in it and the server seemed visibly bothered to correct it. If you like good lamb the gyro meat was more a blended meat fyi. However, if GF there are a lot of options which you can choose from which is nice. Edit: the hostess seating everyone and running most of the food had long black hair.

Just had dinner at this restaurant. We only wish we had found it sooner! The gyro plate was delicious and the spanakopita and stuffed grapes leaves were the best we've had in years!!! It's difficult to find grapes leaves with meat and not just rice. These were delicious. And the service was friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all. They offered a varied menu too. Thank you for a great dinner.

Returned yet again to this great restaurant and the food and service were fantastic. Had Dolometh, flaming Greek cheese, OPA, Greek salad, baklava, choclava, and rice pudding, all really nice quality and great service.

Dinner on a Saturday evening - there was no wait and we asked for seats outdoors. They seated us and brought a booster chair for the toddler. Menus were brought and we were introduced to our server who offered to answer any questions and was very good at giving suggestions as well. He recommended the octopus and the stuffed grape leaves for starters, and suggested a Greek Cabernet to go along with our meals. We ordered a kids cheese pizza and milk for the 2 year old along with the appetizers so she could start eating. We also all asked for waters. The wine came out along with our appetizers one at a time - octopus first with pita bread. It was the best I have had, very tender, and with the perfect combination of capers, onion & olive oil. The dolmathes (grape leaves) came out next - four on the plate so we each had one. They were tender and filling with the ground beef herb stuffing inside. As suggested, after finishing the appetizers, we put in our food orders - in order to judge how hungry we were and to be able to enjoy each part of the meal. We decided on a chicken Slovaki wrap, pastistio and the gyro plate (comes with two side and soup or salad - we ordered the Greek potatoes and fries and Greek salad). The food came out and was all smelling and looking delicious. The pastistio was a huge slice of meat filling in layers of pasta with a hint of cinnamon… Greek lasagna. The chicken slovaki wrap was loaded with flavorful chicken, tomatoes, onion and tzatziki sauce in the pita. The Greek salad was a generous portion - lettuce, cucumber, tomato, olives, onion with Greek olive oil dressing. The gyro meat was amazingly flavorful and tender, the fries were crispy, the Greek potatoes had the hint of lemon and were so tender. The wine complimented everything perfectly and was a very smooth red. Everything was absolutely perfect… the service and attention to suggestions for us, the atmosphere, the wine, the food. And the bill was very reasonable for the service and meal provided (around $160 for a bottle of wine, our appetizers and meals). Definitely recommend when visiting Hilton Head if you enjoy authentic Greek food!

The attitude of the team left much to be desired. I thought talking to the SOD or someone higher would have fixed the issue at hand, but the supervisor had just as much of an attitude as the servers. Nothing will be missed if you continue on with your trip without visiting this place. UNLESS you want one of those silly restaurant experiences where the gimmick is to insult its patrons.

Omgosh. The food is fresh and perfectly flavored—authentic Greek. We’re only here for a week but we will be back. We split an appetizer and the Mediterranean Cod (amazing) and almost skipped dessert—but don’t! Try the chocolate baklava because it is amazing! Highly recommend.

We ate dinner here a couple of years ago and didn’t really like it. But people we met this year said it was better now so we gave it another try. We’re glad we did! Our problem this time was we shouldn’t have each ordered an appetizer before our main meals as we then had too much food! Both the calamari and octopus appetizers were really good. My wife had the Santorini and I had pork souvlaki, both of which were good. We’ll be back.

All I can say is don’t order the roasted lamb. I think it was microwaved and served in its own heated soup water. 🤢 The rest of the dishes we ordered were not much better

I love good Greek Cuisine. I was disappointed with this meal. The Mousaka was not to my liking. It was advertised the use of ground beef instead of lamb, but the ground beef seemed like it was deep fried before it went into the casserole giving it an almost gritty taste. The béchamel was good and they did use both potatoes and eggplant which is a good combination. We shared appetizers of calamari and tzatziki which were good.

Was so worried this was going to be tourist trap next to our condo. Was so happy to find out its not. Food was great and the price was as well. Had lamb gyro and fries and it was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt as well. Would come here for lunch frequently.

I was a little reluctant to do Greek food at Hilton Head as I thought it would be lame tourist trap slop. Pleasantly surprised! The gyros, dolmades, and baklava were the best that I’ve had in the states hands down. All hand made on the premises and served in generous portions. Noticed the garden around back as we were leaving- pretty clear a lot of their herbs are grown right there. This place might as well be called Yiayia’s kitchen because that’s what it reminded me of. Do yourself a favor and get the dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with lamb and rice).

Pretty basic atmosphere, but the food was the STAR! Not one mediocre dish! We had the cheese place and octopus for starters and they rocked! We went there for the first time last night and I don’t know why we waited so long to try it. Best gyro I’ve ever had! Our teens loved the chicken pita wraps and French fries too. The portions were so generous they couldn’t even finish everything (which says a lot for teenagers!) We will definitely be back!

Have finally made it to this restaurant. After seeing the reviews, always said we want to stop and have some of their different dishes. Hubs and I had appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks. Very, very happy with their food and service. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu and highly recommend to others. Thank you for making our 1st time here a memorable one.

It was an absolute delite discovering this place. We had a trip to Greece in 2021 and this is one of two places that have food as good as we had in Greece. If you are a fan of moussaka you will want to get there early as it goes fast. Missed it tonight but had delicious dolmates, gyro plate, and pastito. They had good choices for Greek wine and I had Mythos beer. We got some rice pudding and another dessert and brought it back to the hotel, will have to update how that went. They look delicious.

Went for the first time for takeout and it was so good we went back again a few days later to eat in! Highly recommend. Everything was delicious, especially the feta and tomato pizza.

Very nice place. Came in for a late lunch. We had calamari and various wraps. I had Atlantic cod wrap. The gyro style wrap is fluffy chewy and very tasty. The calamari and cod were very lightly breaded and tasted great. It included let us and tomato with a very tasty sauce. The cod was fried to perfection. Service was very good.

This is a must-stop place for us during our annual visit to Hilton Head. We typically eat here more than once each year - and this time, we ate here FOUR times! Authentic & very tasty Greek food. The gyros and gyros wraps are fantastic. The salads and Greek potatoes are excellent, too. The location by Coligny is convenient, there is ample outdoor seating with umbrellas and there's even a bike rack in the parking lot (handy for us!).

We were in the.mood for something different, and this was a bike ride away for us in Coligny. Well, it was fantastic!! The menu is very diverse, as far as Greek food goes, and the servings are massive! The meals were really good, and the service was great!

We visit HH annually and try to find a new place to eat each time. This year's "new" place was It's Greek to Me. It was recommended by the sweet ladies in the Soma store. Portions were perfect, if not on the larger side. There were great options for everyone. Kid friendly options ranging for the pickiest of littles, too. The food was delicious! I had the chicken wrap with Greek potato. Flavorful and filling! My husband had the Gryo and was impressed. Kids had a Ceasar Salad and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. We passed on dessert, but the options looked delightful. We will return!

I loved this! Amazing fresh pita bread, a heavenly salad of artichoke hearts, chickpeas and fresh lemon and olive oil. And, the best silky avgolemono soup. Super cute spot, prompt and friendly service. Just a gem of a place! Indoor and outdoor seating. I did not have room for dessert, but they had some very tempting options on the menu that I am eager to try on a future visit!

A fan of Greek food and a visitor in Greece, this place was not a disappointment. The food was authentic and the gyro wrap was not only delicious, but HUGE! We are planning to visit this eatery every time we return to Hilton Head.

Calimari was crisp and tender. 3 meat combo was very good except pork was a bit dry and tough. Outstanding sides of potatoes and green beans. Mousaka had great flavors and with a touch more sauce would be absolutely outstanding. We'll definitely be heading back soon to enjoy more good eats!

We have been taking our family to Its Greek to Me restaurant in Hilton Head for Years. The food is always great and the owner (I presume the owner) is always friendly. That all changed today. We arrived as a party of 8 today for lunch at 11:30, which included 3 grandkids (5,3,2). There were about 4 other tables of guests. Note to owner: Young children aren’t terrible people. He didn’t want us inside and didn’t want us to pull any tables together. We preferred outside anyway, but still wouldn’t allow any tables together. To be fair, food was great as always. Waitress came up and offered to pull tables together, but when we told her that he wouldn’t allow that, she agreed we shouldn’t. She was great and earned a full tip, but what kind of tyrant is this guy? OK readers, tell me to get over it and just don’t go back. That is what my wife said, who has family heritage from Greece, but I think her Uncle Nick wouldn’t have put up with this. I will miss the food, but I will not be subjected to a jerk like that again.
