The crab puffs appitizer was overcooked and had almost no puff at all. Could not taste anything but dry wonton when you took a bite. The spicy beef fried rice was a very big portion and lots of flavor. The sweet and sour chicken and vegetable tempura were deep-fried to perfection and not over battered so you could taste more than batter. The soups were hot and tasty and the salads had lots of dressing on them.

If I could give negative stars I would. I came here in high hopes from all these 5 star reviews.. We get seated and the hibachi chef starts doing his thing he brings out this cooked rice that’s literally Old and hard and served everyone. I just ignored it, then he starts cooking the food everyone that’s seated and he’s also making 3 to go plates on the side??? The cook is mixing his spatulas with the raw meats with the cooked for and serving not even wiping or cleaning putting risk for cross contamination. The he served the rice drops some on the table not the grill plate, scrapes the rice that fell and adds it to the to go plate he was making 🤢and didn’t wipe the spatula as it toched the dirty table and he starts whipping it up touching all the food. The worst part is that he had these squirt bottle that had oil,teriyaki sauce and some other oil. He added those oils before during after during. He added all those condiments about 5 times. The food was just exaggerated oily and wet. I was in disbelief and disgusted. Never in my life have I experienced this. Top 3 worst food experiences in my life.

We had someone with us who was a first timer. She had very specific cooking instructions regarding her food and she loved it, we all did. I personally have never been disappointed.

Hibachi is fantastic, steak is good! I wish they would take out the that one spot out of the shrimp. Good chefs, good servers, nothing too flashy but nothing negative in my opinion.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and tried the Bento box lunch. It was delicious and the portions were just right.

It was my daughter's 12 birthday and this was her place of choice.. She loves the sushi and the hibachi experience and so do I. We had absolutely no wait at all and this was on a Friday night... maybe we just got lucky, bc the place wasn't empty by no means. Our hibachi chef put on a very good show and it was very entertaining for everyone at the table. The food was absolutely delicious and filling... We all had leftovers. Definitely recommend when it comes to the hibachi experience, the service, and the food!!

The service was awesome, however, the food for me, was very disappointing. I guess that’s what I get for ordering Pad Thai from a Japanese restaurant. It was red and tasted like ketchup and chili powder. The chicken was cold on the inside and tasted like reheated precooked chicken. So, I ordered a Blue Bayou sushi roll. It was very fishy tasting, the roll was cold which is fine but it had hot crawfish, in that same ketchup tasting sauce, on top. I don’t like hot food on top of cold food. I have only eaten hibachi there before and it was okay but just bland so I thought I would try something different. I doubt I will ever go back.

The owner (young lady that is usually up front) always provides a great experience! Love the food here and never had a bad experience dining in :)

The food here is very good! I got the combination fried rice, and it was some of the best I've ever had. They give you a huge portion for only $13! We got a sushi roll as well, but it was very lackluster, definitely not worth the price. The service was great, however we chose to sit at a table under the impression we would still be able to order the hibachi if we choose, and were a little disappointed to learn that we had to order strictly off the dinner menu. Overall a very enjoyable experience for a date night, I would go back.

I want to cry, I live far away and just made it back home, I drive here once a month on Sunday's to order food. My food is burnt and all the things I wanted to order, they were out of those items 😫 😩 😢. I had to take pictures of this

Order from here often, and I would definitely say it's the best sushi/hibachi in the area. Service is always great and food is excellent. The Thai Roll is addictive!

Ordered 5 different appetizers, all very good. Will pass next time on the octopus. Other than that everything was great. They need to upgrade their wine list.

Just tried calling to place an order, and they were extremely rude. I have never had someone speak to me like that over the phone, and as a waitress I would never speak to a customer like that on the phone. This is my second time ever publicly making a negative review about a restaurant if that holds any weight.

A lot of people come here probably because of sushi. We don't eat it. The hibachi filet mignon was not tender at all. The tempura was awful absolutely blan & no taste. The clear soup was not bad but not great. The gyoza didn't have much taste either. The atmosphere is the best feature, very nice. If you want tender meat I strongly suggest Sumo. I tried many & this 1 tops them all so far.

We enjoyed our food, the waitress was very prompt with service and the chef was entertaining.

YIKES!!! - - This is not a review of the actual sushi, which was excellent, or the service which was excellent, or the atmosphere which was excellent. Five stars each. That part alone adds up to 15 stars. However, the wine they poured and what they charged was nothing short of outrageous. A thimble full of mediocre wine was nine (9!!!) bucks. NINE! Are you kidding me? The quality and charge for the wine I would have to rate as a minus (-) 7. Do the math and that’s your 2 stars.

Took our granddaughter her for sushi and she was super excited. Our service was very good and the food was delicious.

This place is always outstanding. Food and service are amazing, and the Hibachi chefs interact so well with everyone, kids included. My first choice every time.

Host,Mgt., Server culture act uppity as Royals. They are not, and server does not listen nor cooperate. The food is the best part. May be they did not feel well...(?) So, you are open for money U$D,!

10 out of 10! Food was excellent, service was great, prices are fair. Definitely one of my favorite hibachi places! If you haven't been here before you Definitely need to give it a try!

Thank you, say it back!!! I’ve been a loyal customer for years but I won’t tolerate the owner and her nasty attitude anymore. So entitled. I’ve realized it’s me who has to thank her everytime and not her thanking me for spending money at her business. Perhaps once she cared but not anymore. I realize her parking lot is full and her business is busy nightly and maybe that’s given her a false sense of entitlement but if that’s what it takes, she can keep it. There are sushi restaurants everywhere. Me and my family won’t be dining here anymore.

Food is amazing, but the lady at the front stand is extremely rude. Constantly taking the phone off the hook. Tried calling for lunch & never answered. Tried calling for dinner and was told that I would get a call back in about 30 minutes once a hibachi table was full in order to do a take-out order. Over an hour later, never got that call & then realized she took the phone off the hook again, even though they weren’t closing for another few hours. When we went up there to place a to-go order in-person instead, she immediately yelled at us and threw a menu in our faces within 5 seconds of entering.

Good food and a good price. Their rolls are less expensive than others, but it shows in the quality and presentation too. It's not bad though. Affordable.

Excellent! Did dine in, Hibachi available too. Having Sushi and a “Bento Box” for lunch. Edamame w/ Garlic is awesome. Loved our server “Jessica”! Food came out fast even with a packed restaurant.

Rude. Went to enjoy hibachi and left for Osaka. It was a rude experience. They gave our table away because the rest of our party was two minutes late. RUDE.

Came here to eat lunch for my daughters birthday. We had been waiting and as the rest of our party was walking in she called and went to the next table in line because everyone wasn’t inside at that very moment. My mom has a hard time getting around and it was taking her a few minutes to walk inside. We won’t be back.

Saki was an absolute delight! Our waitress Taylor recommended the Panda Roll, and I have never tasted such a bright, unique combination of flavors in a sushi roll before! The lemon slices and chopped jalapenos are ingenious, brilliant- highly recommend! The Philadelphia roll and nigiri were also superb. The staff were so friendly and the ambience was lovely too. Stop by if you are a sushi lover!

Offensive and off-putting host that answered the phone. Horrible first and last impression. There are so many other places to go nearby so I highly recommend avoiding this place. So many negative reviews based on the host alone.

One of my wife’s and my favorite sushi restaurants. Uncle Sam roll can’t be beat. Spicy edamame with a Smokey margarita, heavenly.

I've always enjoyed coming here, great service, nice atmosphere, and great food. You can't go wrong with Edamame with spicy garlic, Hamachi Kama whenever they have it, if not, you can eat the Hamachi Carpaccio. I got to try something new this time, the Yakitori chicken which was pretty good. For sushi, there's too many good choices but my favorite is the Miami Heat roll. Great presentation on the sushi rolls and the Hibachi is good choice if you want a show.

The service and the food are top we come in once a week. Our waitress Jess is great.

Favorite Japanese restaurant in OS. Lunch specials are affordable, delicious and generous portions. The hibachi chefs are kind and entertaining. The staff is always friendly and accommodating to my large family with messy kids.

Out of everyone at our table, I received the smallest portion. About the size of a kids meal. I said something 3 times but was ignored. For the high prices you would think we all would have equal portions. People had so much food that they took part of their meal home. I on the other hand didn't have enough to fill a grown man up. I don't recommend spending your hard earned money there. Gave it 1 star just to have a chance to write a review.

Excellent to stop in for some sushi. Tried the hibachi last visit. Lots of fun. Sources Gulf shrimp.

I love this place! I love getting the seaweed salad and miso soup because it's really nutritious and that's hard to find eating out. The salt and pepper tofu is really good and so is their tempura. Nothing but good things to say about Saki :)

I absolutely love this place! Amazing service and amazing food. I ordered the Thai roll and the chicken hibachi. Our server was so sweet and the man who did our hibachi was so fun and entertaining!

Food was ok, but experience was more than lacking. Very disappointing when you choose a restaurant and a habachi grill table in part for the experience. Just a cook in front of us at the hibachi grill. Our chef showed No real interest, no talking, no questions whether we were celebrating anything,(which we were celebrating my husbands bday), no interaction with the grandkids. No fun, no tricks, no jokes, no onion train, or pounding heart of rice, or tossing of a shrimp or two. Nothing, no thank you for coming. Just does anyone need to go boxes. We gave him a 20% tip anyway, then afterward was thinking why did I do that?, he really didn’t do anything to offer any exceptional customer service or anything special at all, as a matter a fact it was a let down for all of us, even the girls who were old enough to know what a fun hibachi grill experience is supposed to be. The service and experience was a 2-3 on the scale of 1-10, and the food was average at a 6-7. Sorry to say Nothing to brag about here.

I quite enjoyed my dinner here but there's a few key things keeping it from being 5 stars. Most of the staff were very pleasant and made it an enjoyable meal, especially our waitress. But there are a few members who fill water and they are very rude. They were snapping at us if they wanted a water cup. And the food was delicious except for the meat. It was under seasoned and detracted from the well made rice.

Had dinner with family. Atmosphere was good and our cook was excellent! Really friendly. Our waiter was ok. A little high strung though.

Unprofessional to say the least. Attempted to make a take out order, first I was placed on hold and hung up on but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Then I was told that they will only cook take out orders on the tables top full with seated customers and that they won't cook in the back kitchen. Then from there I was told I'd have to be placed on a wait list / call back list so they could then call me back to place the order but only if a table top is full. Idk if they can't handle the volume on a Wednesday but Wasabi takes online orders and definitely got sushi craving in a reasonable time. Wasabi for the win. Be careful at Saki people. Google we need a .5 star this was unacceptable to say the least. Oh and I never got that call back lol

Food is ok but customer service was not good. They were rude from the beginning. There are signs everywhere that say you can not wait inside the business. If I had known it was going to be a 35 minute wait in my car on a hot day I'd have gone somewhere else.

Just got back into town and of course my first stop is always Saki’s! Had hibachi with an awesome cook bao he did a great job and the food was delicious! I’ll be back a few more times before leaving town again!

I’ve been to Saki’s on several occasions and I’ve always really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. But I felt like the cook was blatantly disrespectful and mean. He did not serve equally to me and my friend. Of course we were the only 2 people of color at the table. I’m a good tipper but I didn’t leave a tip but I did tell one of the ladies. It hurt me to speak on it but both me and my friend both noticed it. I’m very disappointed. Yes I will go back but I’m hoping I don’t have to feel this way again.

Saki is my favorite place to get sushi! I live in Pass Christian, and I make the drive to Saki quite a bit each month to enjoy the good food and atmosphere with one of my best friends. I have never had a bad experience. The waiters and waitresses are always nice and attentive, and I have never been disappointed with a meal there.

We have been looking for an authentic sushi restaurant in Ocean Springs. We finally found it, Saki. They have many vegetarian and gluten free sushi roll options. My husband also tried a Chinese Sweet and Sour dinner plate. We enjoyed the food. The place also had a hibachi dining room experience. Similiar to Benihana. We will be back.

If you try to place a to go order over the phone, they’ll put you on hold for 5-6 minutes before just hanging up the phone on you. If you call back, they will answer the phone and then immediately hang it up.

The food and service were great, and egg drop soup is usually about the same everywhere but this was amazing

Had hibachi, steak and shrimp. The fried rice was well below average from other similar restaurants. They COVERED the shrimp and a large portion of everything else in some sort of thick, what I guessing was teriyaki, sauce that overpowered all other flavors. The service was about on par with the food - below average.

They got their groove back.Good to see them with a solid team. Food was great, service was quick and our server was really entertaining.

Very rude staff. Your not allowed to wait inside for your table, they want you to sit in your car and remain outside. Also, they have an oriental paper tree decoration with paper ornaments hanging from it, and there is many signs stating “DO NOT TOUCH”. We did not find this restaurant welcoming whatsoever, and left to go eat elsewhere after all this. They want you to spend your money there, just don’t come inside or touch anything…….

New to the area we read the reviews and thought the sushi bar at Saki would be an excellent choice. Wrong! Upon arrival we were informed the sushi bar only does take-out orders and we may not sit there. OK -agreed to a booth. Upon being seated we asked for hot sake only to be told they don’t serve hot sake any longer. To top it off both servers who spoke to us were quite rude. We walked out and drove to Sumo on Beach Blvd. where we had a marvelous evening.

Always delicious. They have a great wait staff.

Try the Panda roll and the Joshua roll. 😋 you will like it. Would have liked hot tea to come in a teapot instead of a teabag in a mug. Will definitely go there again!
