First time here. Found it off the GPS. Small place in a neighborhood. I ordered the sampler platter. It was very good. I enjoyed it, Service was very good and prices were very reasonable. I would gladly go back.

Drove 45 minutes to eat here. No sign on door, nothing on website however walk in and they say they are closed because they have a wedding order. Could have posted that on Facebook or online. However 90 minutes wasted for nothing. Very rude to costumers.

I dined in today. I got a pulled pork sandwich with mac n’ cheese and green beans. Oh, it was so good! I’ll definitely be back. The employees were also so kind! Thank you for a great experience.

All of the meat is cooked daily. It smells so good! They also have a variety of sauces if you like to add your own flair. If you are lucky, you'll get to hear the chef in the back singing along with the radio. Just be sure to tip extra! He can't afford to quit his day job and rely on singing!! 😂🤣

The CHICKEN was VERY DRY & smothered in pepper (VERY HOT), nice people ! Miss the old owners!!

Dropped off a turkey for thanksgiving and picked up at the appropriate time and it was ready and smoked to perfection. They only thing I would recommend is offering seasoning options because the bird was bland but I also didn't season it myself and wasn't made aware or offered any seasoning options or bbq. And I had to asked for a recipe for proof of what I dropped of bc it wasn't offered for me. Otherwise it would have been a perfect experience.

Me and a girlfriend ordered to go. It wasn't very good. She got a sampler plate. The ribs were tough, the chicken didn't taste good and left a bad taste in your mouth. The beans were in such a tiny bowl I wouldn't say it was a full serving spoon. I got a cheeseburger. It wasn't anything to write home about. It was literally just cheese on it bun was stuck to it. And it cost $20 because it cost more then we read on the menu online. The burger was supposed to be just under $3. We will not be going back for sure.

They've down size on there side dishes & my chicken looked dried up. They weren't friendly at all. I won't be back. I miss the original owners 😪

Had the sample platter for lunch it was great !!! Meat was fall off the bone,everything had a great flavor. I believe it's some of the bestBBQ I've ever had.clean place and a very nice lady.Goin back !!!!!

Go support. It's the only place you will get the entire bone & honesty Also, If you're type2, the bbq sauce wont spike your sugar if u slightly smear and not baptize it. 95 degrees outside & the restaurant was freezing. Loved it. Go early because he runs out of food because the local order slabs at . Also he lets you know if a customer reports back if a something wasnt good.

Was once my favorite in Henderson. I don’t what has happened, but I won’t be going back anymore. So sad.

We had a very large take out order for a company event. The food was good but they gave us like 10 plates for enough food to feed 20 people. We asked for buns and were brought 12 buns. Again, this was a $250 order to feed more than 12 people. We didn't get any onions, pickles, etc. Maybe I'm just spoiled because of places like Moonlight and Old Hickory being right here in my hometown. I'd give J & B another try but my first impression wasn't great.

We all got the famous chicken and I added the ribs. Didn't bother with asking for a to go box for what was left on everyone's plates. I'm sure lots of people love this but just wasn't up to BarBQ we are used to. Cute place though.

J & B has the best BBQ in Henderson. For me, the ribeye and ribs are always good and their sides are great. You won't be disappointed. Check it out!

Best bbq in area. First time comming here and now will have to eat here ever time I'm in the area. Had the bbq chicken which was juicy and tender, great tasting. The pork plate is very good also, they have the saucy pulled pork. Really great tasting food.

Excellent Chicken! Smoked flavor and very moist. The baked beans were just as good and flavorful. It was our first time eating at J & B and it will now be a weekly lunch or supper stop for us!!!

Best BBQ in the Tri-state area!! Ribs are warm, tender and juicy. Great BBQ sauce, baked beans with bits of pulled pork in them. Great tasting German potato salad with whole red-skinned potatoes in it( normally I dislike German potato salad, but liked it so much that I brought 2lbs. Of it, so I guess that says a lot!)

My favorite barbecue place in town oh, and they don't just have barbecue have burgers and stuff as well my daughter love their burgers.

I have reviewed J&B before, so I'm not sure why it came up in my suggested places to review. But that should speak volumes about how good their BBQ is. J&B has the best BBQ I've ever had from a restaurant. I love BBQ and have had it in 30+ states and 24 countries! Their ribs and pulled pork are absolutely to die for! Their chicken is pretty good too.

We LOVE their food & have never gotten anything we didn't like. I wish they had more locations! Ribs are our favorite.

I have been going to J & Bs for about 5 years now. Both dine in (pre-covid) and take out. Consistently great food at a reasonable price. Staff is ALWAYS courteous and friendly. Not too many places can do that day in and day out. We have had a two or three catered events (picnics at Audobon Park) and J & B's always does it right. More food than we can eat and just really good stuff.

My wife and I had the J&B Sampler Plate which was 1/4 Chicken, 1 Rib and Pulled Pork. Fantastic and a lot of food for $8.99. Also came with 2 sides. Baked Beans, Potato Salad and Cole Slaw was also very good. Good Service. Don’t miss this one.

Business trip to Henderson today, had a pork sandwich here before but took time to sit and eat today. Lucky to have an open table, had a half rack of ribs and green beans. WOW! Great ribs and supreme sauce. What a tasty reason to do work again in town.

I pick up dinner for 10 people, they gave me enough for 20. The food was top-notch, people who worked there were as nice as can be and even other customers helped me out with my order. Everyone who came for dinner loved it and we all had extra to bring home. Henderson KY. can be very proud of this fine restaurant.

Great home-made food. Mutton bbq sandwich was perfect. Along with coleslaw and beans. Expect a line or wait at lunch time and dont let the location frighten you away, the food is good bbq.

First, they open earlier than most lunch locations (1030) which is extremely convenient when i have a post call day off and my dad id passing through Henderson for work. The service is always attentive and the decor is charmingly rural. Most importantly however, the smoked turkey is positively delicious--we never order any other meat. The portion on the lunch platter is very generous, and with 2 sides and bread for around 8 dollars, you will always leave satisfied.

We got very cheap sandwiches, but they were so good--I would have paid a lot more for them! I loved my pork chop sandwich, and my kids loved their grilled chicken sandwiches. The potato salad was great, and cheap as well! Will be ordering again!!

2 sampler platters make a great buffet for the family. With pork, chicken and ribs it has something for everyone.

j & B is my always "go-to" BBQ joint....whether I'm going there to eat, getting take-out, or getting BBQ and the fixins for a family party! My personal favorite is ribs and potato salad. My daughter, whether getting it to go or dining in, her order is the same..." a pint of pulled pork and a fork!" She swears she doesn't need all that extra stuff when you have good BBQ!

I like mutton. This place has the best mutton around. My wife likes the ribs and she says they are great. Small dining room but it is worth the wait.

I am a Texan and I have been disappointed with the overly sweet and smoked meats in Kentucky, finally a place that serves truly good, tender meat.

It's not to many places I go to for barbecue but I luv this place it's the nxt best thing to home.

Love the chicken. Best open pit chicken in this area. Ask for butter sauce to go along with it. It is good to dip your chicken in. The ribs are also wonderful, along with the potato salad.
