Jack's in Heflin - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

So, we can through the drive through. I started to order two 3 piece snacks and quickly said "I meant to say dinners." The guy asked me what sides I want. I told him mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I ordered 2 drinks, both with no ice. We get our order, and it's one snack and one meal. Ok, one mess up. Then, we realize the drinks have ice in them. Ok, 2 mess ups. We get to our destination, and as we're pulling the food out, everything is COVERED in coleslaw juices. We open the dinner, only to realize that, instead of putting the food into the deep slotted sides of the Styrofoam container, they put the food into the shallow side made to be the lid of the container. So, juice leaked everywhere. On top of the all that, the coleslaw was awful. The whole experience was bad from beginning to end. Please, pay attention to what people order, give them that, and handle the food and packaging properly. It isn't that hard.

Food was good, service was good but the amount of dead (and living) flies in the restaurant was ridiculous

Food was fresh and we did not have to wait long.

We love Jack's! They have great food at a reasonable price. Their breakfast meals and biscuits are awesome and very reasonably priced. They have fabulous fried chicken and burgers. They serve crinkle fries with season salt on them. And most times, their handmade milkshakes are thick!

Food horrible and had to go back and get our card but when we called to ask for who took it they told us and when we get there less than 5 min the person on the phone said it wasn't her UT was management it a whole story too much 4 typing#sketchy

The food here was great! Everything was fresh and reasonable priced

My Wife and I had the 3 piece chicken dinner, the Problem was the Chicken Breast Were So Tough You Couldn't Chew it. the theigh and the legs were fine. We are from Talladega and eat at your restaurant often with no problem and we will be back again.

Went thru the drive thru when I got home I was missing food. Called the number on the receipt and online (which is the same number) 10 times and no answer. Ps I was not driving back 10 minutes. I just wanted them to k own so they could replace the next time. I will not return to Jacks again for a while. Also to add when my husband goes by at 5 am he should not be getting cold coffee.

The Jack's in Tallapoosa ga. Was suppose to be open at 5am I got there at 5.45 this morning they had no food reddy no cash drawer reddy door was unlocked and they ask us to leave I'm not happy about the situation

Long wait for subpar food. We had never been to one, and my husband sees them all the time. We decided to stop, and it was a 20-minute wait for food. I asked the employee about the breakfast menu, and he mumbled under his breath. I still don't know whether or not they serve breakfast all day. The manager was so stressed and a little snapping with staff. She was answering drive-through, working the fryer, and trying to bag orders in her defense. I got a 2 price chicken bone-in with mash potatoes with gravey and coleslaw. The chicken at least had some flavor. The potatoes were covered in this weird brown gravy that didn't taste right. The coldslaw was pretty much everywhere place. My hubby got a bacon burger, and it was no better than Burger King.

Place is so inconsistent. I get a great perfect order and the next time it's horrible, missing some of my order, being rushed etc

The food was ice cold and the meat was hard . I got home and it was not what I ordered so had to go back and still did not get my hot food the order was still cold and wrong.. it had suff in my hamburger that I did not ask ..

One of the worst Jack's I've ever been to. Food was cold and dry. Service was incompetent and brusque. The store was on the verge of being unclean.

Heflin Alabama jacks 8 People working and no one acted like they know what there doing had to wait 30 mins to get food people walking out backed up almost out the door and drive thru back up all the way to the road it's a shame this place has gotten bad over the last year management need to train employees better

For fast food, they're on top of the game. Very fast. Very friendly.

Wether Good or Bad review it must be left!! I got breakfast here and also order a drink. When I got my drink and drove off and was almost home. I started sipping on my drink but noticed a weird taste. So I took the top off of my drink to look inside. Once I looked inside I noticed a small line of what looked like a paint line around the edge. Also I noticed small black and orange specs floating around in my drink. So to those ordering here make sure to check no only your food but drink also.

Had a few flies but otherwise good

Fried chicken and mashed potatoes were 10/10. Wouldn't recommend the green beans (no flavor).

Good breakfast but not so crazy about lunch menu

Great Place, Great Food, Great People. Just get home some times with the wrong order or not made right but when you special order stuff made different than the normal way it is made I understand that mistakes happen. So all in all it's Good. If I ever do have an issue they make it right 👍.

Great folks here serving but what irritates me is how long it takes at the drive thru. It was the same this morning and now I'm in line and after 15 min im still waiting for lunch here and just really ready to leave.

I stop by here for breakfast and dinner multiple times a month for almost a year now. I have never had an issue with service or the food. The employees I have spoken too always have a good attitude and very friendly. I will continue to eat here when working and become a little hungry.

If you order 2 items...you expect 2 items...and when you ask are you sure the price is right for 2...and the worker looks in the bag and says yes you got 2 and the price is right..then they band you your food..and it's not right...you seriously can't be that lazy right?

Have to watch drive thru. They mix up orders too much or completely leave things out. Need to check your order before you pull off. Then they act like you are making up things.

Foods on the tray in the time it takes you to order it! Amazingly crispy fries! Good burgers. Just delicious. Do yourself a favor, make sure you get the milkshake! If you're traveling, there's an easy to reach plug in by almost every booth!

Sure there are Jack's Restaurants all over the south, but until you eat at the one in Heflin you cannot imagine the difference between Jacks employees cooking just for a job, and those who are working because they LOVE their customers. The Heflin Jack's is even our pick over Huddle House or Cracker Barrel. And if you are hot in the summer, you can stop by for a delicious REAL handscooped ice cream or milkshake, just like we could do 40 years ago! They have the best biscuit makers anywhere around, and we have traveled all over the United States and we know biscuits!!! LOVE that Saturday morning crew, and even the town gentlemen at the round table who are a little bit like "store greeters" when they see you come in. But get there early on a Saturday, or you may have to hunt for a table! EVERYONE knows this is the BEST Jack's around!

Waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes and still didn’t receive my entire order and had to wait in the drive thru for another 20 minutes just to attempt to get the rest of my order. In the end I just drove away frustrated and without food I had already paid for. Horrible service

We went thru the drive thru. Ordered a Bacon Ranch Big Jack. We had to ask for it because they forgot. Then once home, we had an original big jack. The receipt had the correct order, we just did not receive it. August 6, 2022.

The only reason it gets one star is because i cant give it a zero star. The food tasted like it came from a school cafeteria.

The cashier was super friendly! I live in Georgia so I always loving visiting Jacks when I'm in Alabama. The food was still just as good as my last visit at a different location. Fries & sandwich was so hot that I had to let it cool before eating. It was such a wonderful wait. I'll definitely be driving 2 hours away again just to have my childhood & adulthood fave!

Ok...I have a problem here. Now don't get me wrong, I Love me some chicken, especially Jack's Chicken. But what the heck is wrong with the Jack's in Tallapoosa??? Went in there at 8:45 pm on any night, they have no chicken!! Wings and thighs only...maybe!! Crazy!! So forget about getting out of church around 8:30pm on Wednesday and want a chicken leg or breast. Ain't gonna happen. Alright Jack's, y'all gotta do better than this!! Just saying!!

Way better service at the location in heflin, al. bowdon, ga. Jacks has what I believe is a management problem and a lack of training of their staff which also falls on management there and until upper management fixes it I will not visit the biwdon, ga. Jacks again

Typical fast food. Employees were not impressive. Daughter liked her burger. Glad they were available for a quick travel meal.

Best milkshake in the business Jax is always wonderful

Got a hamburger steak dinner that was turned on it's side in the bag when they handed it out the window. Obviously all of the gravy and green been juice leaked out and into the bag, soaking my biscuit on the way. To add insult to injury, because the plate was turned on it's side, it inadvertantly got placed upside down in the seat when trying to correct it's position, thus causing every drop of liquid to leak into the holey bag and all over the car seat. I won't say the food was bad because it probably would've been fine had it had all of its components in proper places, however, the entire situation was quite frustrating! Soggy food and greasy gravy stains on the car's upholstery, all of which could've been avoided by simply taking care to place food in the bags and to hand them out the window properly. Maybe someone needs a re-training session to prevent another 2 star rating... Js

Clean and efficient store, friendly staff. I have a strong inner fat kid so the burgers just don't cut it, they're good but small. Go for the chicken sandwiches or tenders. Good quality chicken and large enough to get the job done.

I will NEVER. Go back here. I never get all of my food, never get straws or sauces, the manger who worked the night of April 1, 2022, is a tee total witch. She does NOT have management skills. She likes to yell and cuss and scream at people when they call and complain about not getting what they paid for. I have reported this to corporate, we have the phone call recorded for corporate office like they asked us to do to have proof of how the manager treats customers. If you want warm food and good customer service, stay away from this place, or use to be good, now the food is half cooked, fries are mushy, and you won’t get half of what you pay for. $50 spent on dinner and maybe got $15 worth.

We go through the drive through a lot it convinc to us cause it's so close to the house. The service is ok not the worst in the world but not the best either. The food is ok the breakfast food is the best at this Jack and that is. Mostly all we get from there .
