First time trying Jacks during a mini-vacation trip. Typical Fast Food joint with a focus on Fried Chicken and Burgers. Apparently a new cashier was just starting her shift as I entered the restaurant. She was pleasant, but very soft spoken. I had to ask her to repeat herself a couple times to make sure I understood her. Two other sets of customers came in behind me and placed their orders. I then had to ask for a beverage cup for my meal. I waited as both other customers had their orders filled and then finally my 2 cheeseburgers and fries were given to me. Fries were hot and good, Cheeseburgers were a little on the small side but tasted ok. Hope this wasn't a typical Jacks service.

We have eaten there a few times. I always try to get something different every time. The fried chicken dinner was very dry it must have been sitting for a long time. The Hamburger was good. Service was friendly and places we stopped at all was clean.

Didn’t give a receipt. The cashier seem to have an attitude or manager. Also my mash potato was poured all over the back and my sauce was open when came home to eat. Was really expecting to enjoy a nice treat but it was just a disappointment. :( never again

The people working here were extremely rude. I could not get my order in and they wanted to rush me out. We love Jacks but will not be eating at this one again.

We don't have a Jack's by me in Florida so it was a treat. Really good burgers.

When I walked in jacks it had a strong smell of urine, I had thought it was something wrong with the plumbing, once I payed and got my change from the cashier Amber, and the change she handed back to me was soaked and had a very strong smell of urine, so I put the change back on the cashier counter, and I believe it's the supervisor or store manager that came to me and I told her that the money was soaked and it smelt like urine. So she noticed the odor off the change and got napkins and picked up the change and took it the office. Then she gave me back the change and it was dry and normal. Just like how I should've received in the first place. Never ever coming again. 0/10 Nasty place.

The last visit was horrible!!! Service was nothing to write home about either. Probably won't go back to the one on the south end anymore

I don't like to do negative reviews ... So the young lady at the counter greeted me when I came through the door. Great customer service. Burger appeared smashed ... Turned out to be the cook is more than a little food presentation/assembly challenged. Basically over cooked and flavor less mess. Fries freezer burnt so tasteless resembling cardboard. Lettuce, tomato, not fresh. Bacon burnt so when mixed with the shredded lettuce tomato bits and pieces a dab of mayo ... the over all experience rang in at a whooping Zero. My husband went to pick up food some tonight. I just so happened to be on the phone when he was in drive through. The woman who is working, the drive-through was rude. As my husband placed the order, he told her that he wanted a four piece chicken, tender with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy Diet Coke as the drink and cookies and cream milkshake. He got to the window they seem decent enough. They said they were going to cook the meal fresh for us. It was close to closing time. However, as soon as the woman brought out the food, my husband went to check it one they gave us fries instead of mashed potatoes and gravy to The shorted us one tender, and when my husband went into rectify the situation with the mashed potatoes and gravy he watched her make it up for him, and the woman was acting as if she was doing my husband a favor. My husband’s not a big advocate for checking the food too much before he leaves the fact that he did it. The first time was pretty decent, but not many people think to look at the food a second time, but when he brought it home, you could tell that the woman just simply scraped what was left on the bottom of the mashed potatoes and the gravy, and there was nothing more than a bunch of dry, crusty bits of gravy on top of this mound of mashed potatoes and the gravy was also over pouring over the edges of the lid. The chicken also look like it was undercooked. It’s funny because I told my husband I’d rather him not go to that Jack’s to begin with because of a bad Facebook review that I saw a couple months ago for that particular location, my husband and I are both familiar with working in the food industry and when we don’t visit certain places for a while, they’ve had a bad review we usually try to give them another chance to see how things turn out since the last list and unfortunately they just proved to us that they still have bad service.

We went through the drive through going to get biscuit and gravy and chicken biscuit. As we got to microphone lady placed a sign they were out of biscuits and chicken

I love to drive through at Jacks when I travel. It is one of my favorite fast-food places. The food is consistently good and I really like the chocolate milkshakes. Staff is always friendly.

The workers were doing the best they could. The morning manager was rude and mean to them and the public. The food was good but that men needs to change his attitude.

The chicken was fresh, but fries tasted like they were 2 days old, heated over.

Hate this place never had good feelings bout it and I'm afraid it is going to make me sick here in a little while.

We were on our way bk to Chattanooga from Birmingham, and decided to stop in. The staff was so nice and welcoming. We truly appreciate that!

Jack's has all around good food really love the breakfast

Unfortunately this Jacks is a fail. We had to pull off from the drive thru for our food and wait 5 minutes. I’m not sure what we waited for as the fries were *barely* warm and were floppy, and the burgers only warm at best. No napkins given or ketchup as we asked for. Go on south a few more miles to the one in Collinsville.

The floor behind the counter was littered with French fries and had water everywhere.

The people were great and they gave us directions that we needed bc our GPS on 3 phones wouldn't show us where we needed to turn and they helped up. It was good.

Waited in line for 20 minutes before deciding to leave. The employees are lazy. The cook wore his jeans hanging down below his butt with a belt holding them up around his legs! I will not go back! Horrible location!

I’m from Kentucky and was passing through and got me some chicken and fries, and the fries were some the BEST I’ve ever had from a fast food joint. Wish I knew the secret.

Ordered a bigger jack took 3 tries to get it right the guy in the back was evidently ready for his shift to be over and didn't care about doing it right.

My son is autistic and I took him inside to eat this morning before therapy. We don’t go inside to eat often, but I thought we would try it today! I walked in and out of 8ish people waiting in line, only two people had their order taken. There was an older man in front of me and an older couple in front of him. There were people behind me as well. The cashier literally had her back to the customers leaned up against the counter. She didn’t speak to a single person that walked in and continued to not take orders. At this point, my son is fussing wanting fries. The older man in front of me left and then I moved up behind the older couple. After waiting at least 7-8 more minutes (with the cashier not budging from her turned around not doing anything at all position) I asked them if they had even ordered? They said no and that they had been waiting awhile! I am at this point struggling to hold my son who doesn’t understand what is taking so long. This cashier didn’t even acknowledge the people behind her. She could have simply gave us some indication of what the hold up was, but nope. She continued to be incredibly rude and ignored everyone in the building. By this point, we didn’t have time to wait any longer so we left. A couple people followed out behind us and was talking to me about how rude the cashier was. Then we drove across town to Krystal’s. Much better customer service there! Such a let down!

The Jacks on Glen Bvd in Ft Payne is dirty. Windows so dirty I couldn’t see through them.

One certain gentleman needs a raise and to become manager...he is absolutely amazing with ppl. Everyone could learn a thing or 2 from that young man!

This jacks is a test kitchen. There's usually an extended menu but the drive thru can take forever. Great food if you're willing to wait.

Just as bad as every other fast food restaurant in this town. Went through the drive thru, placed an order and was asked to pull up after paying, they had to cook meat. Ok, cool fresh is better right. 30 minutes later they bring out my order except they forgot my salad. 10 minutes later they bring it out. Other than one car that came in behind me and one customer in the building already eating, there were no more customers. My fault for not checking the bag with the burgers until I got home where I found they shorted me one. Fries were soft and soggy with no seasoning and the salad tasted spoiled. I called the restaurant about the missing burger, they said they'd talk with the manager and maybe I'd get a discount next time I come in. No, that's ok... You can keep it. I won't be back. Too many times Jack's has failed. Popeyes is a joke. McDonald's screws up my orders every other time. Dairy Queen.... Usually ok but, last time I was there they had really bad customer service. Burger King is about the only one that does great but nobody likes Burger King anymore. What is wrong with this town? Guess I need a diet anyways.

!!!!EVERYONE PLEASE READ!!!! Terrible customer service tonight and ever before anywhere in my life! The young man at the drive thru window tonight joked towards me and my cousin about serving testacles and other body parts as chicken choices! This is very unprofessional and inappropriate! My food was very old, hard as a rock, and ice cold! We were told a certain price at the speaker box of about $17 At the window, they changed the price to about $19 to $20. We will NEVER be back to this establishment! I have never heard of anything like this before! If the female GENERAL MANAGER who worked there around 2 1/2 years ago still works there, she needs to handle this. If not, then this place needs to be shut down. MY GOD!

BEWARE! DEBIT CARD FRAUD! I’m usually given my card back FIRST thing but after waiting 15mins and finally getting my food, I didn’t realize I wasn’t given my card back until later than evening. (9 hours later). I picked up my card from management and left to get gas only for my card to be declined. In those 9 hours, my card was used 7 times totaling over $600 in unauthorized transactions. Most of which my bank declined, thankfully but over $300 in unauthorized transactions cleared my bank the next morning. When I addressed this with management, they admitted that this has happened before and the same crew was on shift both times. Management (2 of them) assured me that they would review the cameras and call me with an update…. It’s been 4 days and not a word. When a card is left the policy is to turn it over to a manager immediately, well one of their employees decided to pay utilities and go shopping online prior to doing that. I guess this is what happens when you have to lower the standards to get employees.

I wish that the food was hotter when served. It was just a notch above room temperature. We ordered pies to go with our meal. They told us that it would be 10 minutes before they were ready. 15 minutes later we were told it would be 10 minutes. Poor management.

This was my 1st time going to this Jack's, so I'm not sure how they are on a normal basis, but I think they must have been short staffed. We waited in the drive thru line for at least 30 mins and some people left the line after ordering. The food was ok, but the salads were very hot and the cheese was melted in one lump in the corner. I'll give them some time and try again. I know it's hard with low staff and we're thankful the one that were there showed up.

Would not eat there if I was starving to death customer service was below poor first I ordered at drive thru and simply asked how much a biscuit and gravy was then they said ok pull up without telling me the price assuming I wanted it get to the window and the lady gives me almost 2$ short of change get home and I don't even have half my food or any jelly or sauce I love jacks but I would avoid this one at all costs!!!

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a drive through. Waited over 20 minutes with five cars ahead of me.

11-12-22 arrived at 9:45pm they close at 11pm placed my order in the drive thru. I ordered a Big Jack Combo made large, and I had a free make it large card, I asked for the fries to be fresh because the last time we spent over $30 we asked for fresh fries and it was ignored. Sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes before arriving to the window, finally the car in front pulled off, we paid and they didn’t acknowledge my free make it large (it’s okay I’ve been there 30min for 1 combo) I politely asked the food to be fresh and they were like okay pull up…I was frustrated but I wanted fresh food, waited another 15min..The employee brought it out to the car and for sure they had plenty of time to get the order right, WELL opened my bag and received a regular fry, ice cold. So I got out of the car came in, and the employees was laughing, I handed the male employee a single fry to show him it’s cold, he grabs it and eats it, after I handled it, well the manager Jelly (?) said well just heat it up in the microwave, yes that’s a option but I’ve already paid and wait over 45 minutes for my meal, well the male employee said you want 1 fresh large fry, I said yes please, and I wasn’t even hateful at all, even with them giving me attitudes. The employee proceeded to go to the cooler with washing his hands or using gloves, and pulls out 1 single fry, and said “this is what you want one single fry” and I was just shook the manager let’s this go on and let’s the employees disrespect customers, but (I could see where they get it from, because obviously she don’t care either.) so another employee said please drop a fresh large fry and he did, but the smart remarks kept coming. FINALLY after 45 minutes I receive my fry but my burger was cold. I wasn’t gonna bother, they just kept laughing so I just left. I understand the food industry is rough but come on, the manager she needs to be helping these young people learn respect…

Went to have breakfast with my grandkids. My grandson found a hair in his gravy. They replaced it!! And it also had a hair in it.. so I asked for the money back. They said that was the third one they had had back with a hair. So it wasn't only us.... There was one so-called lady in the back... Telling the other workers to shut up.. I also seen her eating food off of the line, when I was ordering!!!!.. this lady was very disrespectful and should not be working in this environment.......

It's a Jack's. Food's good, employees are friendly, service is quick. Relatively busy most days, may have to wait in line a bit, but no longer than any other restaurant in the area.

3 years ago I left a good review for here. I just deleted it because it has went to garbage. My recent visit was in the drive through & it was awful. It took forever and the workers just didn't care one bit. The guy running the drive through was throwing cups and not very friendly. Do yourself a favor and shut the doors.

Slowest and worst service out of any jacks that I have eaten at across the state of Alabama. Took over 15 minutes for an food just because nobody bothered filling orders.

A good meal for a good price. Drive thru moved efficiently even though it was the Saturday morning breakfast crowd. Drive through was extremely slow. My order wasn't correct, but my chicken biscuit tasted good.

Walked in the lady at the register looks at and says “I’ll take your order in a minute” and continues to stand there and do nothing for at least 5 minutes with us just standing there waiting to order. She finally takes our order and is very rude. Moves like a sloth while everyone around her is trying to keep up with the rush. I also ordered a large coke and she tried giving me a regular one. From the time we walked in the door to the time we got our food was about 30 minutes and we were first in line. Finally got our food my bun for my burger was burn hubby got old fries. I would not recommend coming here. Especially if your looking for quick service.

First it took about 30 minutes to get 2 biscuits and matching Hashrounds. Second the Biscuits were Soggy and falling apart. And the 3rd and final nail in the Coffin was the Hashrounds were Burnt to nothing but unedible Crunch. That's 3 Strikes in any Ball Game I ever played 🤔🤨🚽💩💯🤬

Ordered a #4 biscuit combo add mustard. Got to the window and they confirmed with mustard. Got back on the interstate and NO MUSTARD. NOT EVEN A PACKET.

You have to understand. Jack's hires our younger generation. Even though your breakfast sandwich comes toasted. As you can see my photo , make sure you ask for it to be toasted. As with all new to the working field. You need to be patient.

I have to give only a two-star review after we ate our chicken sandwiches yesterday. The sandwiches tasted like they've been burnt in the grease and the fries were cold with no seasoning. We had to wait in the Drive-Thru line for 30 minutes only to receive this type of food very unacceptable.

Don’t order after 7pm you get cold left over French fries and twice fried chicken dry and way over cooked and that was legs! And a hockey puck biscuit!

Had to try the wickle pickle burger. Drive through service was polite and pretty quick, only took a few minutes from order to hand out. Got home, fries were still hot enough and the wickle pickle burger was really good. So much other toppings I wasn't sure if the wickles would be over-powered but they were quite noticable. Delicious food, served quickly and politely. Just what I would hope for. Thank you.

Southern ckn sandwich flat as pancake and overcooked. Wrong drink. No receipt.

I would leave zerp stars but it won't let me. I love the fries and went to the Jack's at the south end, got home and they taste like they were recooked and days old. I will not eat at this one ever again.
