GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! It was a last minute decision for a party of 8. My niece recommended this place. Without even looking at the reviews, we decided to go to Jackie’s Galaxie. The downstairs ambiance seems nice and alive. We didn’t have a reservation, so they sent us to the upstairs room. Which we didn’t really mind because we were the only one upstairs at the moment. When we were placing appetizers order, waitress kept pushing us to order rolls and luckily we didn’t. We ordered Pu Pu Platter as a starter. Pu Pu Platter arrived and immediately noticed food was not piping hot, it was just warm. Chicken wings didn’t have much flavor. Our entrees arrived and food were not even room temp; they were cold! Tasted very bland, almost tasteless. We only took the 1st bite and that was a lot. It was DISGUSTING!!!!!! I would NEVER spend my hard earned money in this place ever again. This is just very overpriced -flavorless- Chinese food.

Beautiful place to have lunch or dinner. Decorated very sleek and modern. The booths are very large and accommodating. There were many food selections especially sushi and it all looked so good that it was a hard decision. I ordered lo mein and fried rice it was delicious. No doggie bag. When I return to RI I am definitely putting Jacky's on my list.

I recently had an opportunity of having lunch at Jacky’s Galaxy in North Providence for the first time. The restaurant’s beautiful garden, koi pond and impressive structure caught my attention right away. There’s plenty of parking. We were seated promptly and our drinks were served by a friendly waiter. The food was delicious. If you’re in the North Providence area and craving Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The walk up to Jacky's Galaxie & Sushi Bar restaurant is enjoyable as the patron is greeted with a gorgeous winding path, a garden setting, and a koi pond. The restaurant maintains a very pleasant upscale feel and vibe. Oh, and they serve exceptional appetizers and entrees too! We arrived on a Sunday at 7 PM, and our party of four was seated immediately. There is a host of libations available to sample from the menu as well as a varied list of Asian inspired appetizers, rolls, and entrees. My wife and I chose rolls, and our guests had entrees. When our food arrived, the presentation was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and meals, and we all had a great time. Our servers took very good care of us the entire time. There's ample parking in the back. Enjoy!

Consistently amazing food and service every time we come here! Vicky has been our server multiple times and she is always upbeat, remembers us, extremely attentive.

The food was very good. We had multiple starters, entrees, and desserts Service wasn't "bad" just not friendly, and all 4 of us thought she was rushing us to leave even though they weren't busy at all and didn't close for several hours.

Incredibly unseasoned and unflavorful food. No crosswalk out front to actually get to the business, no bike racks.

Jackie's has always been a great place to go but the prices have just gone insane. Almost every Menu item. is double what the cost is elsewhere.

I have been eating at Jacky’s for years. I hosted my wedding reception at Jacky’s at the Waterplace, when I got married during the pandemic. I celebrated two of my birthdays there. The last time I was at Jacky’s, I witnessed the staff being racist towards a Black DoorDash driver. They acted like he was there to steal the order. I was shocked by this behavior. I will never patronize any of their chains again.

Best sushi I have ever had, tuna dumplings and tuna pizza were on point and beyond delicious

Been here a couple times and the food and atmosphere are fantastic. Our server tonight (Christine) was one of the most pleasant and personable people I have had the pleasure of crossing paths with in a long time! We really enjoyed our night tonight!

The place is beautiful, the food is delicious 😋 But the woman who runs the bar is inattentive, unfriendly and with an attitude that does not combine with the good things about this place... UNFORTUNATELY

Great Sushi rolls and really fantastic preparation of vegetables. It is some of the best baby bok choy that I have ever eaten. Decent prices all the way

Coconut shrimp is out of this world! The spicy Tina on the one roll was too spicy for me, but the tempura crab part of the roll was excellent as was the tricolor roll. 😋😋😋

An exceptionally pleasant dining atmosphere

Pu-pu items ALL HEAVY DEEP FRIED. No taste. No tub with fire to reheat items. Waitress kept Rushing us. I was celebrating my adult daughters Birthday. I will never go there or refer anyone to go there. Worst Pu-Pu I had. I took 3/4 of the meal home and threw it in the trash.

In short, food is bad 😖 Waitress was great. Place looks very high end. The food is horrible with very little to no flavor. It tasted bad honestly. They seem to make the food to cater to the people in the area if anything. It is not authentic with weird unpleasant flavors. For the prices, the food wasn't good at all. I could get better tasting food like this for less money and or at a less fancy place/hole in the wall.

Great sushi. Elegant dining room. Bar service is superb and what a great selection of sushi rolls. Recommend trying the brown rice option as well.

12/26/23— review on RI Hospital cafeteria ready to go meal from Jackie’s Galaxy . my husband is at RI Hospital at the moment. In the cafeteria , I saw they had sushi, fried rice and other dishes from Jackie’s galaxy Restaurant. I bought the Nim Chao and Pinapple Frjed Rice , I have to say it is great . The nim chow has the clear sauce I like instead of thick peanut sauce some give you. This is exactly the kind of peanut sauce I like clear liquid and great tasting .

If you like Chinese food. You have found the spot. At the end of the day Chinese food is Chinese food, however this place stands above your typical "Best Taste" or "Yummy House" standard operation.

I always come here and everything is great. I called and made a dinner reservation for 7 people for 630 when I got there they didn’t even have my reservation and on top of that they brought me upstairs and sat us down in a corner and when we complained they said they could fit us downstairs cause we didn’t fit in a table which is lies. And then they started to set up tables and chairs next to us making so much noise it was horrible never going again very disappointed

We did a 25 person lunch for a birthday party and had a great experience. My grandmother used to run a Chinese restaurant and can be picky about the food but she liked it. The staff were really helpful and took care of all of our requests.

The food had no flavor and when I complained about it they seemed annoyed and bothered by it. They still charged me for the food and charged me extra for a container.

I ordered take out last night for the 1st time because ppl say it was real good...sorry to say it was the worse chinese food that I ever had. I ordered 3 General Sao chicken combo plate with a large crab ragoons for me n 2 family members n even they were disappointed, one person didn't even touch it n said it did not look appetizing. The crab ragoons were soggy n no flavor. The rice was bland, my peas were hard that I has to spit them out n the chicken had very little sauce which was not generalSao. I will not be coming here again. Very disappointed especially after spending almost $80!!!

Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, freshest sushi in Rhode Island at ALL locations!! Providence, North Providence, Bristol, and at Twin River!! Big portions, great customer service. Ten out of ten definitely recommend!!! 👌👍👏

It's a great atmosphere and a great staff at this location... I had the Mongolian beef I want to say and it tasted like rubber.. the seaweed salad was good... The kids seem to enjoy the beef teriyaki.... The sushi was also good. Altogether the food was okay but definitely overpriced. I think ultimately you're paying for the atmosphere. However, if you're just looking to get Chinese food you can order it from anywhere else and it would be just as good if not better....

Always delicious every time we come! Great service, food comes out hot and fresh. The sushi is one of my favorites in the area. No complaints, if you love sushi this is a great spot to come! We ordered chicken chow mein and pineapple fried rice for our entrees! Both were a hit. Will be back for sure!

Enjoyed a dinner here recently. Love the location and the atmosphere, the restaurant looks and feels 'high class' without the price tag. 2nd trip here and could not be happier with food. House rice with side of broccoli was more than I could handle. Our daughter 'had to' have sushi "volcano roll". While my wife had chosen pineapple rice with egg drop soup. All items were exceptional - would recommend.

Great food and drinks, waiter was attentative. The one weird thing was that they sat us at a table for 6-8ppl, and there were only 2 of us. It made a weird gap on space for a date and awkward to slide in and out of the booth.

First time there and I have to admit people Hyper this place up TOO MUCH it’s just basic Chinese food, you might as well go to a buffet. It was mine and my husband’s anniversary and we wanted to check it out. Sever looked annoyed, I get it probably had a busy night. Sushi was probably the best! I had pork fried dumpling, I’ve had better. I barely ate, definitely not worth $100. The location is beautiful but other than that I definitely wouldn’t go back.

Really great service, our waiter was so helpful! Entree portions are hugeee!! The food however was pretty bland ("white people spicy" lol) after I asked for it to be spicy. Also we went on a Saturday night and it was pretty slow, which surprised us.

Love going to Jacky's. Foods always good, service is always on point, and the inside vibes of the restaurant are always appealing.

Beef n broccoli combo tasted like a dirty dish rag. Pork rice was not what you expect. Not edible. Won't be going back.

We walked in one day without reservations and they greeted us with a warm embrace. EMELY is beyond exceptional with her smile and outstanding customer service. Our kids love her and we love her! After our first visit we request her every time because of her genuineness, she has become our permanent go to waitress. The food and atmosphere is 5 stars! Love The Sanchez Family

Friendly staff, delicious food and great scorpion bowls. Eating at the restaurant is a million times better than getting takeout so definitely a good spot for a dinner out!

The restaurant is beautiful, the koi outside the door are huge. From the time we sat down to the time we left was only forty minutes. The reason we were in and out so fast was probably because the kitchen saved time by not spicing the food. The food tasted what I imagine food would taste like in a dream. On the menu the General Tso had a pepper image to indicate spicy, it was a lie. To call the food bland would be an insult to bland food. I want to give our server the benefit of doubt. Maybe she was having a bad day, our existence seemed to agitate her more. We ordered, we didn't complain, we lied and said everything was good when she asked, I even avoided eye contact. This was my first time going to Jackie's, the only reason I would go back is at gun point. Should of just had a PB&J for dinner.

I definitely prefer the Providence location better both for food and atmosphere, but this wasn't bad. Their martinis are so good. Sushi rolls are small for the price. Staff was super friendly and accommodating when something was sent back because of an off-putting texture. Love the atmosphere of this location...nothing really like this in North Providence.

Went for mother's day. After paying over 200 bucks... What a disaster. They had a make shift buffet the food was Cold. The eggs were disgusting. The only saving grace was the guy at the beef table...he was a true gentleman. Dealing with an incredible small area ..not knowing who's first ...really nice guy. A real disappointment and never doing that again. ..and no high chairs? Very frustrating.

They were not prepared for Mother's Day Brunch

We came for the Mother's Day brunch. It was our first time here and everything was so wonderful! Hoping they'll do a Father's Day brunch as well. We will definitely be coming back

It's nice here! I like the new little robots they have to help with dirty dishes and to carry out food for big parties!

What a place you feel like you are in Las Vegas not North Providence

Jacky’s has multiple locations in Rhode Island I like Down-town Providence the most cause of location also North Providence they have a nice bar area and the staff is very friendly the menu is huge with a great selection of food & drink options! I would highly recommend Jacky’s whenever your in the mood for great Chinese food !

This was a nice delight. Stopped here for a nice dinner before heading back home in Ny. The environment was super chill, even though I felt a little underdressed, had on Jeans and hoodie. But didn’t get any weird eyes of judgement. The food was amazing. We ordered 3 rolls and the pineapple rice along with the jumbo coconut shrimp. Let me tell you if I lived in Rhode Island this would be my spot to go. My wife and I both had a blast. The robot server was pretty cool. Even though we didn’t experience it, seeing others with it was fun. The good portion was beyond generous. The rolls were big and not skimpy. The place was super clean even the bathroom was spotless. I totally recommend this place.

The food is delicious, and you get a fairly large serving for the price. My only complaint would be that the entree comes with a pretty small bowl of rice, which didn't really balance the rest of the meal, but it was overall really good.

This place is horrible, if I could rate it a ZERO, I would. My twin sister and I came into Jacky’s for a late dinner. The place was busy however it took 30 minutes before we decided get up and head home. A waiter stopped us and told us “wait before you leave, I was coming now.” Instead of just being polite and just apologizing for taking so long for the service. When she approached us and got our orders, the food we were brought was ok. One of the items on the platter did not taste like chicken meat which was what we ordered so we only ate one piece and asked to remove it from the bill. She got sooo upset that she grabbed the plate from me and my knife fell onto my lap and almost cut my bare skin. She didn’t apologized even after I told her the knife almost cut me. We asked for a manager and she said it would take a while. So we waited and once a manager came, he didn’t let us talk, then he put his hand in our faces and perused to argue with us instead of just apologizing for how long the service took, his sever/ staff almost cutting my skin when she angrily pulled away a knife and for putting his hand in our faces. I’ve never been treated like that before. I used to be a server for 2 years and understand when a place if full and busy. However, to wait/ serve White Americans that came after us and then not apologize for the the wait time was rude.

This was just plain awful! We walk in and a server is screaming at the host because she not getting tables. Loud nasty women yelling in front of everyone. The place is dirty, windows and glass all needs to be cleaned. There is an inch of dust on every light. We should have just left, the food was just slop, cold nasty slop, nothing tasted fresh, simply the worst! I will never return!

High quality food and atmosphere at a reasonable price.

The waitress was super friendly & nice. I had the luncheon menu & it came out pretty quickly. The food was fresh & delish. Its my go to for fine dining & reasonable prices for the meal.

I can't believe I can find fresh fried rice. Not recooked food. The drinks a great. You need to try it for yourself. I went on a date here liked it so much I brought the family. We all loved it. Wished they had French fries for my younger boy but can't have it all.

Went in for a feast at lunch today! Excellent service and delicious meals. Cost was reasonable. We had crab Rangoons, cucumber nime chow and the spicy seafood salad (delicious!) for apps. Then chicken rice and wonton soup. For entrees: chicken pad Thai, sesame chicken, sushi pizza, veggie lo mein, and general Tao's. All of the food was fresh and served hot. We each enjoyed our meals! Our favorites were the seafood salad and pad Thai. The atmosphere is tranquil and the decor is modern. Very pleasing aesthetics. Outdoor coy pond is fun to check out near the entry. Our server was pleasant, friendly & attentive. I would highly recommend this for a family meal, date night, or luncheon.

The little robot brought over our food! It's a great atmosphere! Food is ALWAYS amazing. The general taos shrimp was fantastic! Pineapple fried rice is delicious and slightly addicting.
