Nice place to have Cocktails in the evening since they have half off during happy hour. I enjoyed the margaritas and the quesedillas. Ceviche tostada was alright but I preferred the quesedillas. Of course you can't go wrong with an order of chips and dip for the table when everyone is having a couple of drinks! The salsa was quite nice

Ceviche and the guacamole were outstanding but fish tacos were not good .. not fresh and tasted fishy.

When we got there the place was slammed! When the food arrived I realized why why. The food was spectacular but the service was the best part of our visit. George was really the saving grace and mostly part of the reason we’ll return. He was SO knowledgeable of the dinner service and answered my many questions with grace and knowledge. I could see him floating around the bar and tables around us making sure every table was taken care of. The drinks were spectacularly delicious thanks to Mr. George and with his help behind the bar we finally got them. All in all, i would return and recommend Jaguars. It’s been a staple in Miami for over a decade for a reason

Great customer service! I wasn't even a customer but I wanted to use the seats and sit outside with my friend to paint. The host, Ellie, was very nice and welcoming, even bringing us water while we sat outside. I will definitely come inside and order something next time!

This is the best ceviche in Miami, according to me. They use fresh corvina, and every single dish utilizes high-quality ingredients. If you're not a ceviche person, the menu is varied and balanced. They also have the best quesadilla, which you can customize with various proteins. Moreover, the service and the ambiance are always unmatched! This is why they've been successful in Coconut Grove for 20 years. I also had a ceviche cooking class with Chef Oscar here for my birthday, and everyone had an incredible experience!

This place is amazing! They make the best spicy passion fruit margaritas & the food is delicious. Came for Miami Spice, for $35 had the best shrimp appetizer, lomo salteado, and flan that taste like my grandma made it. Eduardo & Jesus at the bar are the best, very hospitable & attentive. Love this place overall and highly recommend it ❤️

Quick lunch with our 1yo, outside, very nice service with a special attention from Paul -manager- who is making sure everything is fine. We really appreciate him. Picaña and corvina cevice are both 10 out of 10 ! The must, is the possibility to try all of the dessert for 8$, we loved the idea and it was delicious.

Solid option for Latin American dishes near Cocowalk. While looking for the best Latin American option in the area, we stumbled upon this place. With a nice tropical decor, the restaurant seemed like a great spot for a laid-back yet chic brunch. We kicked off our meal with some sangrias and Vuelve a la Vida Ceviche. The sangria had a twist, featuring a few blueberries instead of the usual lemon bits— it was different, but still refreshing. The ceviche was a real catch. Bathed in a spicy tomato sauce, the seafood was of high quality, and I especially liked the calamari and red onions combo. We shared three entrées, and both the Lomo Saltado and the Pork Pernil were solid. The Lomo Saltado was comparable to the ones I’ve had in good Peruvian Chinese restaurants in other cities. The latter featured tender roasted pork pieces with a balanced flavor profile, thanks to the guava sauce and pickled onions. Unfortunately, the Fried Rice Chaufa was overly salty, and the Mahi Mahi on top intensified the saltiness. While the fried egg provided some balance, it wasn't enough to offset the overall saltiness. Although I'm not well-versed in the Latin American food scene in this area, Jaguar Restaurant definitely seems like a great option for those seeking casual yet elevated Latin American cuisine. Service was also better than most of the restaurants we’ve been to in Miami, and I recommend giving them a try.

5 stars! Our dining experience was exceptional! We ordered two small ceviches, which were surprisingly generous in portion size, and the picanha was incredibly tender and flavorful. The service was top-notch, and our drinks were expertly crafted. However, the only drawback was the loud, unusual music that played every 5 minutes to celebrate birthday songs - it was a bit jarring. Nevertheless, we're already looking forward to our next visit!

I was at Jaguar a month ago and the service at the bar from Jailer was great. I loved the paloma sour and the black market ceviche

I was with my partner a few weeks ago and I tried the best ceviche of my life and my partner loved the Costa Verde drink. Without a doubt, bartender Jailer gave us the best attention 😊😊😍

Terrible service. There are better restaurants, and with much better service. No attentive waiter, we had to get up to look for them. So that in the end a waiter who never served us came to complain about a tip that he clearly did not deserve. I wouldn't even come back as a joke.

Incredible staff (especially George), incredible menu offerings, and a delightful atmosphere. I had the Arroz con Mariscos. A signature dish with ample seafood items and a spectacular sauce that made every bite a mouthwatering experience. Also had the Black Market Ceviche, truly a world class plate.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere is phenomenal. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is very friendly. The food and craft beer are great. We will be revisiting this place again.

Great location and vibes. Had the salmon Norma, but it was overcooked and dry. On the other hand, my partner has the Mahi Mahi and we both loved it. A bit pricey for what it is, but hey, you're in Coconut Grove.

This place doesn’t deserve the prime location it has in the Grove. Everything is over salted and overpriced relative to the quality of the ingredients they use. Too many good up and coming options in the Grove for this place to keep surviving.

The food is very good, it arrives hot and fast, the waiters are very friendly and respectful and the restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere, totally recommended.

Good food, but the drinks leave a lot to be desired

If you want to eat somewhere semi expensive with half portioning then you've found your place. Not the place to eat your fill. They give "gourmet" portions without fully reaching that level. The octopus was excellent but the rice/beans was purely mushy. The calamari appetizer was pretty good as well. I'd skip Jaguar and go somewhere more authentic in the area if you want mexican cuisine because it does not live up to the price.

One of the most amazing restaurants in the grove. This place is a gem. The best service. Paul is the absolute best. My favorite ceviche I’ve had in Miami and some of the most delicious steaks as well. You will not be disappointed!

One of the best ceviche restaurants in the area. I have been going there for years. The menu ebbs and flows (miss the Mexican pizza) but the ceviche has remained delicious fresh and ready to go. I also enjoy their drinks, the bartenders are always on point.

My daughter attended a cooking class there and me and my friend had a brunch while kids were learning to cook. And what a great idea. My daughter loved it. We had a great time.

Everything was good until they allowed a large hairy dog in the main dining room. Then they allowed another dog in the main dining room. Dog shook itself so go knows where the hair flew to. One man started sneezing. So, we won’t be back.

Jaguar was PHENOMENAL in all aspects! The ambience with neutral colors, wicker hanging lanterns and a touch of nature feel. The service was stellar from Eduardo, who the BEST bartender in Coconut Grove, to the GM George and everyone else who serviced us. Every dish we had was flavorful with fresh ingredients and very good portion size. We had the Peruano Ceviche (pictured), Tiradito Oriental Ceviche, Black Market Ceviche, Guac, Salmon Norma, Fried Rice Chaufa (Chicken) and for dessert chose the spoon bites (very fair sized) of every dessert for just $2 each. Can’t wait to be back and try more!

Stayed in The Grove for vacation. All the restaurants in the surrounding areas had multiple swipes from me lol. Meaning they’re all pretty top tier and i come from the great state of Texas where the food is..ya know; FIRE. This wasn’t easy but this Jaguar restaurant stood out simply because of the customer service and the quality of the food. Walked in with reservations and was immediately met by the GM George. He and his staff was impeccable. The food was next level. We walked in and mention it was our first time here at this establishment. The GM looked me in my eyes and said “it won’t be your last”. He was not lying. I got the steak tacos and I DONT WANT ANYONE ELSE MAKING THAT DISH BUT THEM🔥. The Salmon was cooked to perfection also. And the drinks? Oh you gonna find out 😂🔥Top tier. Thank you guys again.

Stay away from this restaurant—it's the worst. A waiter(Eduardo) had the audacity to come back and demand a tip because their manager pays a low salary. The waiter blaiming on the client the fact that their employer pays low salary . employers want to transform the "tip" in a mandatory fee to put on the client their responsability of paying a decent salary .

We went to Jaguar yesterday for Mother's Day. I wanted to go for a long time because they have always told me about the place and let me tell you, a spectacular restaurant. We called because it was a day when so many people go out to eat and they told us an hour wait so we decided to wait and in less than Within 10 minutes they called us that they had a table available for our family of six. They welcomed us with a very pretty red rose and the attention was excellent. We ate and took special attention because as it was the first time they explained the menu to us and told us about the Happy Hour as well. Don't miss the margaritas and ceviches. Everything is super delicious. You can park in the Coco walk public parking lot right next door.

Great place for Sunday brunch. Arrive early and park in public parking across the street. Pulled pork and poached eggs were excellent. Bread with fried plantains with special spread/butter is a must. Highly recommended. Service was prompt and friendly.

If you’re in the area, please make a stop at Jaguar! It’s worth every penny and more! From the get, the staff is so welcoming and gentle. The food is IMMACULATE. The kind human being who serviced us — Gabriel — had us laughing and smiling the whole time. He’s made great recommendations and we left we our belly full! I’ll be coming back whenever I’m in town.

I've been here before, and it's one of my top spots in Miami. My go-to dishes are the Tiradito Oriental ceviche and the Tuna Nikkei ceviche. I also can't get enough of the three cheese quesadilla and the guacamole - they're wonderful.

I tried jaguar for the first time last week and it did not disappoint! I think what really did it for me was the service, my server Gabriel, was so attentive/helpful. He told me to try the merken sauce and it was 10/10! Will be returning soon!

Had a late lunch, early dinner at Jaguar last week. Our waiter, Gaby, curated an excellent experience. He provided fabulous recommendations including the guacamole and black market ceviche. His service and attention to detail really elevated our experience at Jaguar. The kitchen also did a fantastic job regarding the food preparation and the aesthetic presentation of our selections. 10/10 experience at Jaguar. Ask for Gaby as your waiter for a great culinary and service experience.

The co-owner, George, provides excellent service so that the client feels comfortable as if they were at home. I recommend the dish of each, Rice with seafood. Feedback People.

Absolutely amazing lunch at Jaguar. Staff were extremely service forward and we didn't have to wait for service at any moment of our dining experience. We both tried ceviche dishes and both were absolutely stunning.

Jaguar is one of those places that surprises you the moment you walk in, the staff is super cordial, the food is incredible and the ambiance of the restaurant certainly screams miami-chic, the food came at a very decent serving time and they kept constantly asking how everything was.. overall worth of another visit soon.. highly recommended . We had an amazing dinner experience tonight at Jaguar Restaurant for my husband's birthday. Gabby, Gabriel and Valerie all took excellent care of us for drinks and dinner selections. We especially liked the amazing margaritas, Salmon Norma and the Black Bean soup! Fantastic food, service and a caring atmosphere among all the staff members. We hope to eat there again for lunch tomorrow!

New edit: they renovated the place recently and added items to their happy hour menu, I’m obsessed. Jaguar keeps getting better and better. We’ve been here several tienes over the course of the last two years since we moved and this place is top notch! My favorites are the steak tacos and the picanha with the salad that had the jalapeño sauce. The flan is AMAZING. The margaritas, delicious. We were happy to see they offer their amazing merken sauce for sale. Our server Daniela was really nice, Eduardo gave us great recommendations, the managers Paul and George made us feel so welcomed. We love coming here. One of the best places in the area. Never disappoints! 💕

The cilantro soup is a must try. I decline the sour cream. The guacamole is very rich and delicious. We love the fish(Mahi) tacos. Our daughter thought the steak tacos were great. We also enjoyed the delicious white fish ceviche.

We came here with our 3 kids (6, 4, and 1) and sat outside on the sidewalk. Our food was wonderful and the staff were very accommodating. Bathrooms were clean! Would come back anytime.

Great food and the best service I’ve ever had

I had the chicken that was flavored in jerk sauce, named Chicken Costeño. It was very good. My wife at first had the pot roast but it had guava sauce, so she returned it, and got ceviché. It was taken care of, the manager spoke with us, and it was taken off the bill. It's not that a mistake happens it's how it's handled and it was handled well (and didn't effect the ratings). If ever Miami again will comeback.

My husband and I went here on a saturday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Nataly was by far the best waitress probably ever. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and had the best personality! The food was amazing! We started with a tuna ceviche-the most delicious ceviche I've ever tasted- that Nataly recommended. The churrasco was melt in your mouth delicious, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. To end, we had spoon bites of 3 dessert options. I have never seen a restaurant offer spoon bites of their desserts, so I was pleasantly surprised when Nataly mentioned it. The cheesecake and the banana dessert (can't remember the name) were my favorite, while the chocolate cake would have been best if I were drinking a good red wine. We will definitely be back, and look forward to trying other menu items.

We stayed in Coconut Grove for 3 days and had 2 lunches and 2 dinners at Jaguar! It was THAT good. The staff is incredibly attentive. The food is to die for. We tried different dishes every time and everything was simply delicious. The pork pernil notably was the best pork I have ever had. The lunch specials “hot lunches” are a fantastic deal! You must dine here! I can’t wait to be back!

If I lived in Miami, I’d be at Jaguar every night. Everything about it was excellent, from the service to the food itself. We had the shrimp ceviche and Mexican ceviche—both were so good—and our entrees were delicious as well. There were like ten things on the menu I wanted to try. We also loved that you can order a “spoonful” of anything on the dessert menu if you just want a taste. The waitstaff was super friendly, attentive, and hard working. Just an excellent experience all around!

Jaguar Restaurant in Coconut Grove is the real deal when it comes to food. The drinks and food at Jaguar were top-notch. The Peruvian ceviche, in particular, was on point, boasting authentic flavors that transported us straight to the streets of Lima. Jaguar Ceviche provided a delicious escape with every bite and sip.
